When Saquon Barkley faced the Los Angeles Rams in November, the Eagles running back had a game for the ages.
Barkley tore into the Rams for a career-best 255 yards rushing, including touchdown runs of 70 and 72 yards. He also caught four passes for 47 yards. That’s 302 yards of total offense in the Eagles’ 37-20 victory.
Fast forward two months and the two teams meet again with much more on the line. If Barkley and the Eagles can put together another big game, they will face the Washington Commanders in the NFC championship game at 3 p.m. next Sunday in Philadelphia.

Last week against the Green Bay Packers, Barkley rushed for 119 yards in the 22-10 wild card game victory.

Eagles open with pass, turn to Saquon Barkley
With the Rams’ defense keying on Barkley, the Eagles went to the air with two completions before handing off to Barkley for four yards and one yard for a first down. Barkley then caught a 6-yard pass before Jalen Hurts broke free for a 44-yard touchdown run.
Eagles stalled on second drive
Philadelphia was held to a three-and-out on its second possessions. Barkley carried once for three yards.

On a third-and-four play, Barkley blew past the Rams defensive line and the secondary en route to a 62-yard touchdown run. It’s his third touchdown run of 60-plus yards against the Rams this season.

Barkley had three carries on the Eagles’ next drive. After a 1-yard run, Barkley had a 7-yard run for a first down and a 2-yard run.
Saquon Barkley closes half with more than 100 yards of offense
Barkley had a strong first half, finishing with 94 yards rushing, including a 62-yard touchdown run. He also has three receptions for 24 yards for a total of 118 yards of total offense.
Barkley also has a taped left hand after it was hit in the second quarter. Barkley is still playing despite the hurt hand and wrist.
Saquon Barkley goes over 100 yards rushing
Barkley took a handoff and went off the left guard for seven yards, surpassing the 100-yard mark with 5:05 left in the third quarter. On the drive, Barkley had two other runs for 1 yard. The drive ended in a Jake Elliott 44-yard field goal.
Field conditions not helping Saquon Barkley
The snowy field is not allowing the tight cuts Barkley would normally make. He’s forced to run in a more straight-up form. On his last two carries, Barkley has -3 yards.
Saquon Barkley hit another big TD run
Barkley took a first-down handoff, cut to the left and broke past the defense line for a 78-yard touchdown run. It was his fourth touchdown run of more than 60 yards against the Rams this season.
The run pushed Barkley to 196 yards on the day, tying a team record for most rushing yards in a playoff game, breaking Steve Van Buren’s record of 196 yards that was set in the 1949 NFL championship game.
On the Eagles next possession, Barkley broke the record.
