    This is a large digital picture frame. I think that it works pretty well. It took me a little while to figure out how the set up went, but once I figured it out, it wasn’t too bad. I did have a little bit of a hard time, hooking it up to my phone, but eventually got it to work. As for picture quality…. I found that it is important to place the frame at the right height. If you don’t look straight on into the picture frame, the picture looks washed out or overexposed. I haven’t spent a lot of time trying to figure out this thing out, right now I’m just trying to figure out how to make it stay on for more than one or two minutes. It has a motion sensor built in, but it doesn’t seem like it’s working at this time… Maybe it’s just me? If you want to see your pictures in a larger format, this is a great frame to get. You just have to play with it a little bit to figure out how it works…and make sure you put it at the right level for people to see it, and it should be OK.

    This technology is “simple” these days as it has been around for awhile, and I’ve even had a full photo frame for many years, yet I kind of forgot it exists until I was trying to figure out the best way to share countless and endless photos with my son. My frame popped into my head and it was like brand new technology all over again. Such a great product, much nicer than just sending someone a thumb drive every few years. The fact that I can simply email new photos at any time, plus the plethora of other methods to add photos (and videos!), it’s still such an incredible & understated device, and the perfect gift for any loved one.

    I've never seen a digital picture frame this large. They may exist, but I've not seen them. Setting up this device was very intuitive; the on-screen instruction tutorial was very helpful, so much so that I didn't even have to read the instructions. The picture quality is outstanding. It has wifi built-in, so it can be controlled from your phone using the included app. It comes with everything you need to install it, whether its the included kickstand for placing it on a flat surface or wall mounting it. It even has a remote control that is well laid out and functions perfectly. I think this is an outstanding value given the listed purchase price. I would definitely recommend it!

      The media could not be loaded.

      Didn't want to buy another product that didn't work as advertised.

      Easy set up. I've been able to download screenshots and very old family photos from the past with ease. You can upload 50 pics at a time and I had all the pics I wanted streaming in no time. It downloaded right from my phone. Could not believe I didn't have to jump through more technical hoops.

      The pics rotate as designed and I really like the motion sensor. We have near and dear family photos at the touch of a finger without crowding the shelves. We have new and old, recent and forgotten photos.

      The 17" screen is a nice viewing size for counter top.

      Not happy with this product. I have had it for about a year. And was excited to use it for showing family and friends pictures. But it always has issues. The problem I always have is when I want it to scroll through the pictures on the screen, it will only do it for about 10 or 20 minutes or so. And at some point, it will stop. And once it stops, it just goes to this home screen, which is really annoying. The home screen is like a dashboard. It has the date and time, and it has a box of your pictures, but you can't really see the pictures unless you are up close to the screen. I don't want a dashboard with the date and time and a small box of my pictures. I wanted this so it would continuously show pictures of great memories. So, I am really disappointed in this product. I tried resets, I have reviewed the manual, and I have powered it on and off and done hard resets and started all over in terms of like a factor reset. And then when I tried to contact customer support, you can't find their contact information anywhere. I looked online and I looked on Amazon. Really, really disappointing.

      Terrific 21.5” frame

      Purchased two weeks ago,now fully set up and loaded with about 1200 + photos and videos. Arrived well double packaged.
      My family is thrilled to be viewing photos from all the way back to the 1950’s: many of which seem as if they are being viewed for the first time. (Memories fade). I am never reluctant to voice legitimate complaints: and am happy to write that after 10 days of almost full daily viewing, (it takes a long Time to view all at a 30 second rate), I have only praise for this FULLJA 21.5” digital photo frame.
      I DO have one suggestion for the Fillja company. Their well informative booklet is a great asset, and even advises readers on how to set up replacement remote controls. However, I have been informed via responding email from the company that replacement remotes are unavailable. This can be a fatal flaw with this photo frame, because IF the remote is lost, broken, stolen, or fails: this great photo frame is ‘toast’: as the only functional control on the frame itself is a power button on the side panel.

      This is my second attempt at a digital picture frame. This time, satisfied as it met my requirements. The firmware will correctly convert both still pictures and video clips from horizontal to vertical (landscape versus portrait) modes. The resolution and pixel count make pictures from an iPhone look nice. Therefore the quality of the resultant images on the 21.5” screen is great. The ease of use for my elderly father makes it a great gift. The video playback features and multiple image transition modes is very nice. The capacity of images, including the 64 Gig microSD card, 64 Gig USB drive, connectivity to my laptop using USB-C cables, and of course dual 2.4 & 5 GHz WiFi round out the way to interact with populating images. I would write that although a bit more expensive than the 17” model (which wasn’t even available at the time I purchased this one) was well worth the value for the money I spent. The remote control and touch screen control round out usability aspects of this digital picture frame.

      It was a little complicated to get connected to my phone, but once I did it was awesome. I thought I would be able to turn without having to unmount it so I was disappointed in that.       This is the second one of these I got. The first one was badly cracked and Amazon sent a replacement.

      The picture quality on this is really good. It's not iPad quality, but you're going to be looking at it from across the room. Unless closer than arm's length you're unlikely to be able to tell the difference.

      The screen is bright and visible, even in a bright room.

      I don't use the clock/alarm/calendar stuff because I just want to look at photos but they're there if you want.

      Most people are probably going to use the app to load photos, though there is a MicroSD slot and USB. The app is just OK. With the app you can give access to other people so they can upload photos directly to your frame. Once it's set up and connected to wifi there's nothing you really need to do, so as long as an older family member has wifi this would make a great gift.

      Honestly confused why this one worked for me. I received a smaller one and returned it because the app wasn’t working with the frame. Received a new one the same size and had the same problem.

      This one however worked fine from the start. Was considering not even opening it, knowing to myself that it wouldn’t work because it was the same app and brand but I was pleasantly surprised. Not sure why the other frames weren’t working for me.

      It’s a great size and adds to the room nicely. Grateful for the service.

      False Trade Description

      A few weeks ago, I wrote an unfavourable review, saying Arktronictech's customer service was inconceivably bad. However, a subsequent development necessitated me to change my 1 star rating to 5 star rating.

      What initially prompted me to write a very unfavourable review was that I ordered the 21.5 FHD touchscreen photo frame from Amazon which was expressly stated as matte. When it arrived, the finish was glossy, contrary to trade description.

      After complaining about their misrepresentation, their representative, one Jasmine, argued that after it is powered on, the difference between matte and glossy is very minimal. She ignored my concern that the problem was the mirror like gloss when it was not powered on (which is totally unacceptable). Basically, she was pretending to be really dim, not knowing the real concern of my complaint. She tried to cajole me into accepting a glossy finish that I did not order.

      At one point, she even claimed that for the model that I ordered, they don't stock any glossy finish, as if I could not really tell the difference between a matte finish and a glossy finish. She argued that my 1st photo, which shows a reflection of my ceiling lamp, was inconclusive proof that the sent unit was a matte finish. Upon my providing her my 2nd photo, which contrasted their glossy frame against my matte computer monitor, she asked me to provide my serial number. After providing it to her, she finally accepted the reality, but she also said that my serial number was not on their record, and she blamed it on a wrong assemply from the "factory", whatever it means.

      But before her acknowledgment of defeat, I needed to slug it out in email communications lasting some 19 rounds before she finally accepted my tenancity that I could not be persuaded to accept something I did not order: the frame is glossy not matte.

      Had Arktronictech been more intellectually honest, and had they been sensibe enough to admit their mistake right from the early rounds, I might be able to accept the frame at a very slight discount. But the 19 rounds of communications have raised issues about their integrity, and has led me to seriously doubt their quality control, and therefore the functionality of the frame that was sent to me. I therefore returned it to Amazon for a full refund.

      I Hope they have learned a lesson, and will not subject the next victim of misrepresentation, to the same level of obstinacy. I forewarned them that I shall post their intellectual dishonesty on Amazon to do the global community some good.

      After I wrote the above review, I got an email from one Judy, Jasmine's supervisor. She explained that Jasmine was very green and did not have the competence to handle my complaint independently, and that Jasmine should have escalated the case to her attention. Judy apologized profusely for the frustration that I had been subjected to, and offered to send me a complimentary matte madel to made amends. I accepted her offer, and received a matte model directly from Arktronictech's Chinese manufacturer rather quicky. So my earlier conclusion that Arktronictech was cheating on its customers turned out to be premature. I hope that my supplementary account here will do Arktronictech some justice. All is well that ends well.

      I was a bit skeptical reading some info about the code not being shared by the manufacturer etc.. but i found that this information comes up on the screen. The instructions are not hard to follow. I find the touch screen also very responsive, the overall brightness and contrast and resolution is also good.

      ONLY downside is the placement of the wiring for DC adaptor, SD card, USB C and USB A input. All of them are in the back center of the frame and once you install the provided bracket that allows the frame to be placed vertically or horizontally, you can no longer have access to that area. So need to plan ahead of time for wiring and putting in extra cable for future use.
