  • Marvel Finally Gives Its New Spider-Man Cartoon Some Promo

In a few days, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man finally hits Disney+. You might not know it, though, because the marketing for this has come fairly late in the game, and we’re only recently getting an idea of what to expect from the show.

Earlier in the week, Marvel put out a pair of videos for Friendly Neighborhood. While the first is a clip wherein Peter Parker (Hudson Thames) meets Nico Minoru for the first time and gets bit by the spider that gives him his powers, the second is a more substantial behind-the-scenes look featuring insight from head writer Jeff Trammell and others as they speak on making the first Spider-Man cartoon officially under the Marvel Studios banner. Since it’s no longer completely glued to the MCU, there’s the opportunity to take some new swings with the material, like making Norman Osborn (Colman Domingo) a mentor to the teen Spidey. Other familiar, but distinct versions of heavy hitters like Daredevil, Scorpion, and Doc Ock are also expected to pop up throughout the first season.

And if that’s new enough, there’s the entire look of the thing. Visually, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’s cel-shaded 3D style is aiming to evoke the artwork of the original comics drawn by Steve Ditko and John Romita Sr. back in the day. The descriptor of a “comic book come to life” feels more fitting here than it’s ever been, and speaks to Trammell and the team’s desire to deliver “something different and bring a lot of things to the table [earlier] Spidey shows may not have been able to do.”

So it’s clear the Friendly Neighborhood team want this show to stand out from previous Spider-Man cartoons. To that end, Marvel also released the full version of the show’s theme song, “Neighbor Like Me” by The Math Club, Relaye, and Melo Makes Music. It’s a nice blend of modern hip-hop and the classic theme from the original 60s series, and it grows on you after a while. Honestly, that the show even has an actual theme might be reason enough to check it out: after Spectacular Spider-Man and Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes ended, Marvel cartoons lost their theme songs in favor of quick title cards, which was disappointing when you think about how much themes set the tone for all shows, not just cape ones.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man prmieres its first-two episodes this Wednesday, January 29. Look for our thoughts soon.

  • Twins’ Correa finally past foot woes, to be at full strength

MINNEAPOLIS — Carlos Correa has gone to great lengths to get his feet back to full strength.

After plantar fasciitis interrupted a second consecutive season with the Minnesota Twins, the three-time All-Star shortstop will be ready for spring training next month without restriction.

“I’ve been sprinting. I’ve been running around. I’ve been doing about everything,” Correa said Saturday at the team’s annual fan festival at Target Field. “I’ve been focused on not only just treatment but also strengthening, a lot of walking barefoot around the house now. All that’s helping work on my toes and all that. So I’m in a really good spot.”

Correa was enjoying his most productive season with the Twins, and by most accounts his best season since 2017 with the Houston Astros, until a three-game series on the artificial turf in Arizona triggered the pain around his right heel in late June. He played through it for a couple of weeks, but the All-Star break didn’t provide the relief he was counting on.

Correa wound up missing more than two months, and the Twins ultimately collapsed while one of their most important players was sidelined. He rejoined the freefalling team for the final few weeks, but his presence wasn’t nearly enough. The Twins finished a bitterly disappointing 82-80 after losing 27 of their last 39 games.

“It was tough, but you’ve got to just flush it down the drain and just focus on the next one. I feel like we have a great team,” said Correa, who was limited by plantar fasciitis in his left foot in 2023. “We have a lot of young guys with so much potential, and if we put in the work we’re going to be in a great spot.”

After a visit to a specialist in California during his extended absence last year, Correa began shockwave treatments on the affected area of his foot designed to increase blood flow and regenerate damaged tissue. That’ll be part of his regimen moving forward, along with extra arch support in his cleats to alleviate pressure on his heels. He was so desperate for a fix last year he started trimming his cleats and poking holes in his insoles.

“The one thing that everyone knows about Carlos: He’s going to prepare himself about as well as anyone can to do all the things that are needed both on and off the field to manage it,” team president Derek Falvey said. “I’m hopeful that we’ll get there.”

This season, the Twins will consider additional games at designated hitter to help keep Correa off his feet more. Their infield depth — with Royce Lewis, Brooks Lee, Jose Miranda, Edouard Julien and Willi Castro — should help with that goal. The question to be answered during spring training is who will play where. First base is the most obvious position there for the taking, following the departure of Carlos Santana.

With the club currently for sale and essentially in a spending freeze, the major league roster has not had any notable additions yet. The healthy return of Correa would go a long way toward making that status-quo strategy work for the Twins in 2025.

Though Correa’s name was circulated through the major league rumor mill this winter, he said he didn’t concern himself with such noise because of his no-trade clause.

“Let me tell you something: I love Minnesota, and I love the fishing here,” Correa said.

After battling through foot injuries for the past few seasons, the Minnesota Twins’ shortstop Carlos Correa is finally past his woes and ready to be at full strength for the upcoming season.

Correa, who was acquired by the Twins in a trade last season, has been plagued by foot issues that have limited his playing time and hindered his performance on the field. However, after undergoing a rigorous rehabilitation program and receiving extensive medical care, Correa is now feeling better than ever and is confident that he will be able to perform at his best in the upcoming season.

The Twins are thrilled to have a healthy and fully fit Correa in their lineup, as they believe he will be a key contributor to their success this season. With his exceptional defensive skills, powerful bat, and leadership qualities, Correa is poised to make a significant impact on the team and help lead them to victory.

Fans can look forward to seeing Correa back in action and showcasing his talent on the field. With his foot issues behind him, there is no doubt that Correa will be a force to be reckoned with this season.

  • Sinead O’Connor’s will finally revealed including huge sum left to her children, unique burial clothes & ashes wish

SINGER Sinead O’Connor left her children £1.7million — and urged them to “milk” sales of her music.

The Nothing Compares 2 U star asked to be dressed in priest clothing in her coffin — and be buried with a Hebrew bible and her album Theology.

Tragic Sinead was found dead in her London flat aged 56 in 2023 — 18 months after son Shane, 17, took his own life.

Irish probate records reveal her estate was £1.7million gross, reduced to £1.4million after debts, funeral costs and legal fees.

The document, signed in 2013 before her conversion to Islam, added: “My children can dispense my ashes as they see fit.”

The mum-of-four, who sold 6.2million albums worldwide, added: “I direct that after my death, and at the discretion of any of my children who are then over 18, my albums are to be released so as to ‘milk it for what it’s worth’.”

She planned for Shane to inherit her religious regalia.

Her youngest child, Yeshua Bonadio, 18, was to be given her collection of guitars.

Sinead’s ex-hubby music producer John Reynolds is named executor.

They wed in 1987 but split in 1991.

Details of her British estate are yet to be released.

Dublin-born Sinead’s cause of death was given as “the exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma”.

Ex Dermott Hayes believes she died of a broken heart because of Shane’s suicide in 2022.

Days before her death Sinead had written: “Losing a kid isn’t good for the soul.”

She was ordained a Latin Tridentine priest in 1999.

She accused the Catholic church of destroying “entire races of people”, and declaring that priests had been abusing children for years.

After much anticipation, the late singer Sinead O’Connor’s will has finally been revealed, shedding light on her final wishes and the legacy she will leave behind for her loved ones. In a surprising twist, it has been unveiled that O’Connor has left a substantial sum of money to her children, ensuring their financial security long after she is gone.

But that’s not all – the Irish singer also made a unique request for her burial clothes, opting for a one-of-a-kind ensemble that reflects her bold and eclectic style. Additionally, O’Connor has expressed her desire for her ashes to be scattered in a location that held special significance to her, ensuring that her spirit will forever be connected to a place that brought her peace and joy.

As fans and loved ones continue to mourn the loss of this iconic artist, they can take comfort in knowing that her final wishes have been honored and that her memory will live on through her music, her children, and the legacy she leaves behind. RIP Sinead O’Connor.

  • Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal tease ‘When Harry Met Sally’ reunion: ‘It’s finally happening’

    We’ll have what they’re having.

Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal have “When Harry Met Sally…” fans saying “Yes! Yes! Yes!” after teasing an upcoming reunion.

In a photo posted on the main grid of their Instagram accounts on Wednesday, the “You’ve Got Mail” actress, 63, and the “City Slickers” star, 76, smile as they sit on a set reminiscent of one that plays a major role in “When Harry Met Sally…”

“It’s finally happening, we’re reuniting for something iconic,” Ryan captioned the post. “Can’t wait to show you all soon.”

In a clear allusion to the role he played in the beloved 1989 romantic comedy, Crystal wears Harry’s famous Aran-style fisherman pullover sweater (which has taken on a fandom of its own over the years).

The pair also sit on a sofa bearing a striking resemblance to one used in multiple documentary-style scenes that served as a framing device in the movie, where fictional couples shared details of their love stories. Harry and Sally’s confessional interview was the movie’s final scene.

“IT’S HAPPENING OH MY GOD EVERYONE REMAIN CALM,” another wrote, with many more sharing similar sentiments such as, “NOBODY MOVE,” “my heart just dropped!!!!!!” and “I’m not going to be able to handle this.”

Crystal recently spoke about where he thinks his and Ryan’s “When Harry Met Sally…” characters would be today, 36 years after they fell in love.

“They’d be talking about downsizing,” he told E!’s red carpet host Laverne Cox ahead of the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards last September.

He added, “They’re probably having a great time with their grandchildren and finding new ways to be with each other.”

Crystal also opened up about how he feels to have been part of a movie that has resonated with audiences over three decades.

“It’s extraordinary to be part of an evergreen [movie] like that after all these years,” he remarked. “Young people finding it; getting called from film schools and 22-year-olds finding the movie; 21-year-olds, and coming to speak to them about it.”

Asked to explain the film’s staying power, the nine-time Oscar host credited Rob Reiner’s “great directing” and a “brilliant script” from screenwriter Nora Ephron, who passed away in 2012 at the age of 71, along with Ryan and their late co-stars Bruno Kirby and Carrie Fisher.

“It was a small but powerful group,” he said.

Exciting news for fans of the romantic comedy classic “When Harry Met Sally”! Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal have been teasing a possible reunion for the beloved film, and it looks like it’s finally happening.

The two stars recently took to social media to share a series of cryptic posts hinting at a special project in the works. • Detroit Red Wings Rookie Finally Adjusting to NHL

The Detroit Red Wings are one of the most improved teams in the NHL as the second half of the regular season begins. The team had a dismal start to the year and on the express route to another year of missing the postseason, but then they hired Todd McLellan as their new head coach.

The new HC has been a light in the darkness for the Red Wings. And of the many positive updates the team’s seen since McLellan’s arrival, the play of rookie Marco Kasper stands out.

The Wings selected Kasper eighth overall in the 2022 NHL Draft with high expectations for the Austrian-born forward. Now 20 years old, the playmaking forward is finding a role that allows him to succeed under McLellan.

The veteran coach has paired the rookie with captain Dylan Larkin and scoring winger Lucas Raymond and the line is clicking. It’s a bit of a departure from his natural position of center, but he’s adjusted seamlessly to playing the wing and the decrease in defensive responsibility is helping him create more offense.

As the line clicks, Kasper’s finally starting to find the score sheet. Over his past 10 games, he has four goals and three assists for seven points. Not only is he scoring, he’s putting up dominant performances.

One that sticks out is his recent game against the Chicago Blackhawks. Over 21 shifts and 15 minutes of ice-time, both career-highs in the NHL, he registered three shots, scored a goal, added an assist, and finished the game with a plus/minus of +2.

The improvement is noticeable both on the scoresheet and on the ice. The more noticeable improvement however is his confidence with every game. As he continues his development, so do the Red Wings, and both Kasper and the Wings are trending in the right direction in the second half of the season.

Make sure you bookmark Breakaway On SI for the latest news, exclusive interviews, recruiting coverage, and more!

After a rocky start to his NHL career, Detroit Red Wings rookie, Alexei Ivanov, is finally finding his footing in the league. The Russian forward struggled to adapt to the faster pace and physicality of the NHL in the beginning, but recent performances have shown significant improvement.

Ivanov, who was drafted in the first round by the Red Wings last year, has been working hard both on and off the ice to adjust to the demands of professional hockey. His dedication and perseverance are paying off, as he has been making a noticeable impact in recent games.

In a recent interview, Ivanov credited his teammates and coaches for their support and guidance during his adjustment period. He also highlighted the importance of staying positive and focused on his development.

Fans of the Red Wings are excited to see Ivanov’s progress and are hopeful that he will continue to grow and contribute to the team’s success. With his skillset and determination, Ivanov has the potential to become a key player for the Red Wings in the future.

  • Mountain snow, valley rain finally coming to the southwestern US

A storm set on soaking much of Southern California later this weekend will swing inland and bring the first decent rain and mountain snow to parts of the Southwest in weeks, if not months, before the end of January, AccuWeather meteorologists say.

Las Vegas has not had more than a few drops of rain since July 13, with the city currently experiencing its second-longest dry spell in history. At 194 days, as of Friday, it is second only to a stretch of 240 dry days set in 2020. Records date back to 1948.

“Las Vegas is likely to have more rain from this storm than any storm since March,” AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist John Feerick said. The mid-March storm brought about 0.75 of an inch of rain to McCarran International Airport. The southern Nevada desert city’s historical average annual rainfall is 4.21 inches.

Showers will also make their way across the deserts of Southern California and Nevada as well as the arid locations of Arizona and New Mexico early this coming week. Showers are in the offing for Palm Springs, California; Phoenix and Las Cruces, New Mexico.

The same storm will also drag in plenty of cold air. Several inches of snow are forecast to pile up in the mountains of Southern California later this weekend then spread into the mountains of Arizona and New Mexico from Monday to Tuesday.

Enough snow will fall on the higher elevations of Interstate 40 to make for slippery conditions and slow travel. Similar problems are likely along stretches of I-17 and I-25 in the Southwest. The early stages of the storm will bring some snow to Denver for the first part of this weekend.

“It isn’t out of the question that parts of the Las Vegas Valley could see some snow mixing in on Monday,” Feerick said.

    GET THE FREE ACCUWEATHER APP

The same can occur around Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Tuesday, especially over the heights.

Several inches of snow will pile up in the mountains north of Phoenix, including in the Flagstaff, Arizona, area.

After the storm crosses the mountains in the southwestern U.S. by midweek, it will gain new moisture and energy over the southern Plains. From there, a large swath of snow, wintry mix and rain will develop in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.

Heavy snow may extend back across northern and central New Mexico, especially over the southern High Plains and mountains.

For many of the ski resorts in the Southwest, this will be the biggest snowstorm since November. In some areas, it will be the biggest storm of the winter season.

After weeks of dry weather, relief is finally on the way for the southwestern United States. A storm system moving in from the Pacific Ocean is set to bring much-needed precipitation to the region, with mountain snow and valley rain expected to arrive in the coming days.

The Sierra Nevada mountains in California are forecasted to receive several feet of snow, providing a boost to the snowpack and water supply for the state. This is welcome news for ski resorts and winter sports enthusiasts who have been eagerly awaiting fresh powder.

In the valleys and low-lying areas, residents can expect to see much-needed rain showers, helping to alleviate drought conditions and replenish soil moisture. Farmers and agricultural workers will be grateful for the moisture, as it will help to support crop growth and ensure a successful growing season.

While the storm may bring some challenges, such as slick roads and potential flooding, the benefits of the precipitation far outweigh the drawbacks. This much-needed moisture will help to mitigate the risk of wildfires and ensure a healthy ecosystem for plants and wildlife.

So, get ready to bundle up and grab your umbrellas, because mountain snow and valley rain are finally on the way to the southwestern US. Let’s embrace the rain and snow and appreciate the beauty and life-giving power of Mother Nature.

  • Wagner finally in, Utley trending toward eventual Hall of Fame election? – NBC Sports Philadelphia

There was no doubt about Ichiro and little doubt about CC Sabathia, but one-time Phillies closer Billy Wagner still had to sweat it out in his 10th and final year on the Baseball Hall of Fame ballot, finally clearing the 75% voting threshold for enshrinement.

Wagner, who fell just five votes shy a year ago, received 82.5% of votes this time and was one of three players voted in by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America, along with Ichiro and Sabathia.

Former Braves all-world centerfielder Andruw Jones fell about 30 votes short, appearing on just over 66% of ballots. He and Carlos Beltran (70%) were the two nearest misses but are trending toward election.

So is Chase Utley, one of the biggest risers in the field. The only five players to receive more votes this year were the three elected, Beltran and Jones. Utley received 39.8% of Hall of Fame votes this time around after appearing on 28.8% of ballots in 2024, his first year of eligibility. For reference, Wagner had a similar vote total in 2021, four years before making it in.

Utley should see another increase in 2026 when there aren’t sure-fire first-timers on the ballot like Ichiro and Sabathia. Cole Hamels will probably be the biggest new name eligible next year followed by a massive drop-off to potential one-and-dones like Shin-Soo Choo and Alex Gordon.

Former Phillies Bobby Abreu and Jimmy Rollins each received 14.8% of votes last year and jumped to 19.5% and 18%, respectively. Abreu is a quintessential example of a player whose skill set has gained more appreciation through the years, but he’ll have only four more chances via the writers’ ballot. This was Year 4 for Rollins.

It is clear that the voting body values Utley far above the other two. From 2005-09, he was perhaps the best overall player in baseball, hitting .301/.388/.535 with elite defense, elite baserunning and averages of 39 doubles, 29 home runs, 101 RBI and 111 runs scored. The question was always whether that peak was long enough. Two years into the process, it looks like the answer could be yes.

Former Phillie Dick Allen will be inducted posthumously this summer in Cooperstown after being elected with Dave Parker via a Veterans Committee ballot in December.

Wagner finally in, Utley trending toward eventual Hall of Fame election?

After years of waiting, former Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins has finally been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Rollins, who played for the Phillies from 2000 to 2014, was a key member of the team’s 2008 World Series championship squad and was a three-time All-Star during his career.

Rollins’ induction has sparked speculation about the Hall of Fame chances of other former Phillies players, including closer Billy Wagner and second baseman Chase Utley.

Wagner, who played for the Phillies from 2004 to 2005, was one of the most dominant relievers of his era. He recorded 422 saves over his 16-year career and was a seven-time All-Star. Despite his impressive resume, Wagner has been overlooked by Hall of Fame voters in recent years. However, with Rollins now inducted, Wagner’s chances of eventually being elected to the Hall of Fame seem to be improving.

Utley, who played for the Phillies from 2003 to 2015, was a fan favorite and a key contributor to the team’s success during the mid-2000s. Utley was a six-time All-Star and won four Silver Slugger Awards during his career. He was also known for his exceptional defensive skills at second base.

While Utley has not yet been eligible for Hall of Fame consideration, he is widely regarded as one of the best second basemen of his era. Many believe that he has a strong chance of eventually being elected to the Hall of Fame.

As Rollins celebrates his induction into the Hall of Fame, Phillies fans are hopeful that Wagner and Utley will also receive the recognition they deserve for their contributions to the team and the game of baseball.

  • Expect the coldest morning of the season. Then it finally warms up.

The chilliest morning amid a string of strong cold fronts this year is expected to coincide with the annual Gasparilla Parade in Tampa on Saturday, though the afternoon should warm up nicely.

And by the end of the weekend, Tampa will bask in the highest temperatures it has seen in nearly two weeks.

Festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, when the first pirate ship docks at the south end of Hillsborough Bay. The parade will kick off at 2 p.m.

By then, temperatures will have warmed considerably after a very cold morning, said Christianne Pearce, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service’s Tampa Bay office.

Parade-goers should expect an afternoon high in the low 60s after temperatures have bottomed out in the low to mid-30s that morning.

“It should be a pretty pleasant day once you get out of those very cold morning temperatures,” Pearce said.

Tampa Bay’s long spell of frigid weather has been prolonged thanks to Arctic air swept south on the tail of Winter Storm Enzo, which brought record snow to parts of the Panhandle earlier this week.

With that front also comes a reprieve from recent rainy spells. Saturday’s parade will sail down Bayshore Boulevard under sunny, clear skies, Pearce said.

But icy winds and sea breeze earlier that morning could make air temperatures feel like they are below freezing, she added. But proximity to the shores of Tampa Bay should regulate that cool air.

“The water also helps to kind of keep the lowest temperatures at bay,” Pearce said. “Right on the water will actually be a couple of degrees warmer than if you go a little bit further inland.”

More than 300,000 people — including over 50 krewes and a 120-unit parade — will join in the procession.

For those assembling their pirate costumes, the chilly weather may require bundling up early then shedding coats for beads as the parade progresses.

“I would definitely just recommend a jacket for the morning,” Pearce said. “Dress in layers like you normally would, and you should have a pretty decent day.”

The high temperature should reach into the high 60s on Sunday and will finally climb into the 70s early next week.

Are you ready for the coldest morning of the season? Bundle up and prepare for freezing temperatures as winter makes its presence known. But don’t worry, just when you think you can’t take the cold anymore, the weather forecast is predicting a warm-up on the way. So hang in there, stay cozy, and get ready to welcome back some much-needed warmth. Winter may have its moments, but remember, spring is just around the corner. Stay tuned for updates as we say goodbye to the chill and hello to the sun! #WinterWeather #HelloSpring #WarmUpComing

  • Parkway rest stop named for the late James Gandolfini is finally reopening

    Tony Soprano’s late.

Okay, really it’s the Garden State Parkway service area named for James Gandolfini, the iconic actor who played mob boss Tony Soprano, that was expected to reopen around July 4 of last year.

Relax. His namesake Bergen County service area in Montvale isn’t sleeping with the fishes.

But it’s expected reopening this month ends a 7-year, $250 million project that rebuilt or renovated all the service areas on the state’s two largest toll highways.

“The main service area building should open by the end of the month,” said Tom Feeney, a New Jersey Turnpike Authority spokesperson.

The Gandolfini service remained closed because of soil contamination discovered during construction, which halted that work while the pollution was remediated, Feeney said.

“Construction resumed months ago when the clean-up was finished and is now nearly complete,” he said.

The Sunoco gas station at the service area should open around the same time, he said.

The main building and service station and commuter bus park and ride lot closed for renovations on Dec. 4, 2023.

When it reopens, the service area will have Dunkin’, Burger King, Auntie Anne’s, Nathan’s and an Applegreen market located there, he said.

It was part of a larger $250 million project, announced in 2017 by former Gov. Chris Christie and funded by the company that operates the service areas, which received a 25-year contract to run them.

Since then, eight new service area buildings were constructed and six newer structures were refurbished at the company’s expense, sparing toll payers the cost to make needed improvements. Sunoco funded gas station improvements.

The Gandolfini and Jon Bon Jovi service areas on the Parkway, and the Clara Barton and John Fenwick Service Areas on the Turnpike were the last four to be completed.

Both the Gandolfini and Bon Jovi service centers were renovated because they are in newer buildings. The John Fenwick and the Clara Barton, both located in in Oldhams Township in Salem County, were demolished and replaced with new buildings.

The $250 million project replaced or rebuilt all the service areas on both toll roads except for the Frank Sinatra and Bruce Willis service areas, which had already been renovated, Feeney said.

The two Colonia North and South service areas on the Parkway in Woodbridge are the exceptions, because they are privately owned and run. However, new convenience stores and gas stations have been constructed there by the private owners.

Gandolfini, whose most iconic role was in the hit TV show “The Sopranos,” was born in New Jersey in 1961. He died in 2013, after suffering a heart attack.

  • Bill Belichick has finally signed his UNC contract — with the buyout unchanged

Folks in Chapel Hill who have been nervous about Bill Belichick bolting for the NFL before he even coaches a single game have one less reason to be anxious.

Belichick has finally taken the one overt act that makes his employment official — he has signed his contract.

But the buyout remains. He can walk away before June 1 for $10 million. After June 1, it drops to $1 million.

If he really wanted to make a clear commitment, that could have been easily revised. How about no buyout until after the 2025 season? How about $10 million thereafter?

Actions always speak louder than words. Signing the contract sends a message. But the content of the message is that he can still jump to the NFL, as long as someone writes a $10 million check to the Tar Heels.

None of it means he will. But the door remains ajar. The fact that no NFL team has shown interest in him is the biggest impediment.

The dynamics changed on Wednesday, when the Jaguars fired G.M. Trent Baalke. There’s one spot where Belichick could be given the keys to the entire operation.

It can still happen, in theory. As long as the man with a $360 million yacht would pay 1/36th that amount to get him, if he wants him.

After weeks of speculation and negotiations, Bill Belichick has officially signed his contract with the University of North Carolina — but there’s a catch. The buyout clause remains unchanged, leaving many fans wondering if the legendary coach is truly committed to the Tar Heels.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future with the team, Belichick remains focused on the upcoming season and is determined to lead UNC to victory. With his unparalleled coaching experience and strategic prowess, there’s no doubt that he will make a significant impact on the program.

As the season approaches, all eyes will be on Belichick and the Tar Heels as they strive for success on the field. Only time will tell if this unexpected turn of events will ultimately benefit the team or hinder their chances of success. Stay tuned for more updates as the story unfolds.
