Does not work with Olympus OMD EM10 Mark III
It does not mount to Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III. The camera's body has a curve leading up to the flash and will prevent the mount from seating onto the camera body. The flash portion of the body will contact and rub the adapter and will not properly seat. Maybe for the PEN series but not the new OMD. If the mount were a few mm smaller in diameter it would work.

    I was definitely impressed! I tested it on GH5 using the following lenses: 16-35mm Mk III, 24-70mm Mk II, 35 Mk II 1.4, 50 1.8 and 24-105mm Mk I and they all worked surprisedly well! My co-workers who are also professional video producers were also very impressed! That extra full stop of light is going to really come in handy in low light settings! Awesome value for the money! I plan to buy another for my B cam. Definitely recommend it!

    This is the second one I've gotten from Amazon and the 3rd I've tried. This one will not even manual focus below F5.6 on an F2.0 lens. Metabones works 100% of the time. Sorry VILTROX I tried.

    Did not work with any manual lens. Gave me a 'Lens Attachment Failure' message with all my manual prime cinema lenses. No error with AF lenses but it froze the camera way too often to be reliable requiring the battery to be pulled to reset. When it wasn't freezing it caused erratic behavior with my Sigma lens. It would jump into focus zoom randomly in manual focus, and in autofocus and it would reset the aperture to a minimum whenever I half-pressed the shutter button.

    I really wanted this to work. I don't want to drop $700 on another Metabones.

    I haven’t tested exhaustively but felt it was important to note that this adapter is not an equivalent in image or build quality to the metabones versions. Adapters generally aren’t known for stellar mount rigidity, but this mount is unacceptably loose on my gh5 and gx85 with a sigma 35 f1.4 on both ef AND mft sides. Construction of contacts looks a bit dodgy as well, but the autofocus mostly works, and image quality is ok, al little glowy wide open, not as clean as the metabones. For the price however, I’d say it’s ok so far as it’s a unique value proposition, but I wouldn’t pay more than $220 for it and say that you get what you pay for.

    Questo è il secondo VILTROX EF-M2II che acquisto.
    Uno lo utilizzo con la cinecamera Z CAM E2 e questo con la Panasonic Lumix GH5.
    Conscio del fatto che un Metabones sia otticamente superiore a mio parere credo che la differenza di prezzo (circa 4:1) non sia giustificata.
    Riguardo la differenza della qualità finale dell'immagine preferisco utilizzare il Viltrox del quale va sottolineato che oggi viene venduto nella sua seconda versione (M2 II) che differisce dalla prima versione (M2).
    Il fattore di moltiplicazione dichiarato (0.71) è leggermente superiore a quello reale (circa 0.7) perchè il campo inquadrato è leggermente più ampio del metabones (ho avuto modo di fare delle prove sfruttando l'amicizia con alcuni amici videomakers).
    Su questo item non'ho riscontrato problemi di messa a fuoco all'infinito (fortunato) ma in caso basta ruotare con le dita (con attenzione e delicatezza) il sistema ottico centrale che è semplicemente avvitato e non'ha viti di blocco (operazione che richiede tempo ma i risultati sono garantiti).
    Ve lo dico perchè sul primo Viltrox ho dovuto agire in tal senso.
    Meccanicamente solido, otticamente un pelo meno definito del metabones ma comunque più che accettabile, anzi in abbinamento a macchine che restituiscono un immagine contrastata e dettagliata quel tocco di leggero "sfumato" dona alla scena una sensazione più "cinematografica".
    Ho trovato installato il penultimo firmware (Ver. 3.3) che era anche l'ultimo fino a pochi giorni fà e l'ho aggiornato alla versione 3.4.
    In abbinamento alla GH5 tutto sembra funzionare bene con le ottiche in mio possesso (TAMRON, SIGMA e Canon).
    Il costo non'è elevato se rapportato a quello del metabones e nel mio caso il funzionamento è sufficiente a rendermi soddisfatto dell'acquisto.
    La gestione dell'AF potrebbe essere più veloce e precisa ma a parte questo non vedo grossi difetti e/o problemi.
    Anche il serraggio delle baionette è buono e non mostra gioco meccanico e nemmeno un serraggio "esagerato".
    Non consiglio e non sconsiglio questo prodotto perchè tutto dipende dalle Vostre esigenze ed aspettative.
    Se volete la qualità assoluta dirigetevi sul metabones ma spenderete più di ottocento euro … altrimenti prendete questo a circa quattro volte di meno senza aspettarsi perfomance ottiche di "riferimento" anche se per me sono più che decorose.

    Niveau qualité de fabrication c'est haut de gamme. Après 180 euro quand même c'est normal; je me demande vraiment à quoi ressemble le concurrent bien connu à 600 ou 700 euro !

    Niveau AF, sur l'objectif canon ef + 1 sigma, cela fonctionne bien; même si l'af est un poil moins bon qu'en reflex "normal" mais rien de bien grave sauf si vous voulez faire de la video pil poil mais bon dans ce cas on passe en général en manuel de toute façon pour eviter l'effet de pompage (sauf si vous avez du haut de gamme)

    concernant les objectifs EF-S cela ne marche pas (comme annoncé)…. sauf si vous êtes ok pour virer la petite partie en plastique au cul de ces objectifs et là c'est bon ! (ca se reclipse mais bon; à réfléchir c'est limite)

    The Los Angeles Rams will be looking to avenge their loss from earlier in the season this week against the Arizona Cardinals. Back in Week 2, the Rams fell to the Cardinals 41-10 in one of the biggest losses of the Sean McVay era. The Rams have gotten healthier while winning eight of their last ten games. Here’s how the Rams can avoid getting swept by the Cardinals for the first time since 2016.

    1. Play disciplined on the edges and contain Kyler Murray

    When it comes to playing against Kyler Murray the Cardinals offense, it’s important for the Rams defense to keep him in the pocket. That’s not to say that Murray can’t win from the pocket. However, the big plays tend to come with Murray scrambling and extending the play. That’s what happened earlier in the season back in Week 2 and the Rams need to avoid that happening again.

    This is really going to test the discipline and growth of Jared Verse. Verse’s worst game of the season arguably came against the Cardinals. He missed four tackles in that game and Murray got the best of him. We’ll see how much Verse has grown and if Murray catches him by surprise once again.

    2. Continue with physical brand of football on offense

    Over the past couple of weeks, the Rams have played a physical brand of football that tends to win in December and January. Running back Kyren Williams has run the ball 20 or more times in each of the last three games. They’ll need to lean on Williams and their physical brand of football to beat the Cardinals.

    Since Week 13, the Cardinals rank 26th in run defense EPA and run defense success rate. Chuba Hubbard had 25 carries for 152 yards with two touchdowns last week. Two weeks prior, Zach Charbonnet had 22 carries for 134 yards and two touchdowns as the Seahawks beat the Cardinals. The Rams are going to need a sharp version of Matthew Stafford down the stretch. However, if they can continue to lean into the physical style of football that they are playing and having success with, they’ll continue to be a tough team to beat.

    3. Tackle in the run game

    This is similar to the first point, but the Rams struggled to tackle James Conner back in Week 2. In fact, Conner had six missed tackles forced and 4.14 yards after contact. Back in Week 2, the Cardinals went 7-for-11 which included a conversion on 3rd-and-14. They also went 3-for-4 in the red zone.

    This season, the Cardinals are tied for 31st in third-down defense as they allow a conversion at a 44.4 percent rate. The Rams will need to win on third down and protect Matthew Stafford in obvious passing situations.

    5. Avoid giving up the big play

    Back in Week 2, the Cardinals had touchdowns of 23, 60, and 18 yards. Two of those would be considered explosives. The Rams defense has been better defending deep balls in recent weeks. Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. have struggled to be on the same page. Harrison Jr. had 130 yards and two touchdowns against the Rams earlier in the season. The Rams have made some adjustments at the cornerback position, notably cutting Tre White.

    The Cardinals are one of the more explosive offenses in the NFL and will almost certainly test the Rams secondary. Unlike the last two weeks, the Rams won’t have the weather working in their favor. The secondary will need to continue to be active on the ball and play disciplined down the field.
