  • ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Viewers Disappointed by Bonus Round’s $40,000 Prize

You’d think a $40,000 jackpot would be cause for celebration, but Wheel of Fortune viewers are ready for bigger and better prizes on the long-running game show.

In the episode airing on Friday (January 31), Cindy Valenzuela from Merced, California, became the latest Season 42 player to win the low-end Bonus Round prize.

    The category for her puzzle was “Phrase,” and after the gimme letters — R, S, T, L, N, and E — and the letters Cindy selected — M, C, D, and A — the puzzle board looked like this: _ _ _ _ E N _ N _ L _ _ N _ _ E _.

Cindy guessed the answer almost immediately: HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW.

Host Ryan Seacrest opened the prize envelope with a flourish, revealing Cindy had won $40,000. Cindy screamed with delight and embraced her friends Stephanie and Edith, who cheered her on as she took home a total prize package worth $60,400.

But judging from YouTube comments, viewers were less enthused.

“When I saw Ryan was hiding the prize from the envelope, I thought he [was] gonna surprise her and the audience with $100,000!” one person wrote.

“How many $40,000 envelopes are there in the Bonus Round? I see another $40,000 win again,” someone else commented.

Another fan observed Season 42 hadn’t had any $1 million, $70K, or $75K winners.

“I was thought for sure [Seacrest] was going to reveal the $100,000, and it was only the $40,000,” a fourth commenter wrote. “Still, a great solve and great effort. Nice work!”

Wheel of Fortune statistics shared by game show recapper Andy Nguyen show that as of Week 20, a $40K prize had come up 61 times. A car prize, meanwhile, had come up only 11 times, a $50K prize had come up 10 times, a $70K prize had come up three times, a $75K prize had come up six times, and a $100K or $1M prize had come up three times.

Viewers also complained about the $40K prize after the game show’s January 30 episode.

“What’s the point of the bonus wheel if it’s ALWAYS landing on $40K?” one person wrote at the time. “Well, OK, maybe not ALWAYS, but it FEELS like it’s consistently landing on $40K.”

Fans of the popular game show “Wheel of Fortune” were left disappointed after watching the latest episode’s bonus round. In a surprising twist, the lucky contestant spun the wheel and landed on the coveted $40,000 prize.

Viewers were excited to see what big prize the contestant would take home, but their excitement quickly turned to disappointment when it was revealed that the grand prize was only $40,000. Many took to social media to express their frustration, with some calling it a “letdown” and others saying it was “underwhelming.”

It’s not uncommon for game shows to have varying prize amounts in their bonus rounds, but $40,000 seemed particularly low for a show like “Wheel of Fortune” that is known for its big prizes.

Despite the disappointment, fans are still tuning in to see what other surprises the show has in store. Who knows, maybe next time the bonus round will have a prize worth spinning the wheel for.

  • Wheel of Fortune fans rage over contestant’s common mistake – Celebrity News – Entertainment

Wheel of Fortune fans believe the latest contestant deserved to lose money.

The ABC game show’s final round has made headlines lately as contestants have won shocking sums that caused one to ram into Ryan Seacrest and push him over. The host even had to check someone’s earpiece after an incredible answer.

However, it seems the luck has run out as a contestant made a mistake that according to fans, easily could’ve been avoided.

Singer Tamika Star starred on the latest episode of the game show and faced off against Max Nussenbaum from Brooklyn, New York, and Rebecca Levin, from San Diego, California. During the majority of the episode, she was neck and neck with Nussenbaum but ultimately won with $16,400, just over $1,000 more than her opponent.

Her motivation seemed to run out once she was sent to the Bonus Round and was given a puzzle within the What Are You Doing? category.

She ended up losing $40,000 but viewers had no sympathy for her.

On Reddit, one said: “Nothing makes me more angry on this show than… Someone saying I & G on a ‘What Are You Doing’ final puzzle.”

Another commented: “I SCREAMED at the TV tonight. When they pick I and G and lose, I scream, ‘Serves you right!!!’”

“Any other letters except THE ONES YOU ALREADY KNOW ARE GUARANTEED TO BE THERE!! That’s why it’s a total waste to call I and G,” someone else responded.

Wheel of Fortune airs on ABC every weeknight at 7:30 pm EST.

Wheel of Fortune fans were left shaking their heads in disbelief after a contestant made a common mistake during a recent episode of the popular game show.

During the final round, the contestant had the phrase “A STREETCAR NA_ED DESIRE” on the board. With only one letter left to guess, the contestant confidently called out “K” instead of “M,” leaving many viewers stunned.

Fans took to social media to express their frustration, with some calling the mistake “unbelievable” and “inexcusable.” Many pointed out that “A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE” is a well-known play by Tennessee Williams, making the error even more baffling.

Despite the blunder, the contestant ended up winning the game and taking home a sizable cash prize. However, the mistake will surely be remembered as one of the most memorable moments in Wheel of Fortune history.

What do you think of the contestant’s common mistake? Let us know in the comments below.

  • ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fans Blast ‘Goofy’ Puzzles

Wheel of Fortune has been trying new things this season with Ryan Seacrest as the new host. However, while the show is getting some excellent ratings, not everyone is happy about the games lately. On top of some fans feeling the players this season are weaker than usual, many are also frustrated with “goofy” puzzles.

Here is what fans are complaining about now concerning the popular game show.

Wheel Of Fortune Fans Feel Puzzles Are Too Silly

Ryan Seacrest has taken over as the Wheel of Fortune host for Season 42, and the ratings are better than they have been in a long time. Despite that, there are more complaints than ever. Many fans refused to give Ryan a chance after Pat Sajak left. Others are nitpicking gameplay and other things.

However, one of the new complaints is focused on the puzzles themselves. A fan took to Reddit

‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Fans Blast ‘Goofy’ Puzzles

Fans of the long-running game show Wheel of Fortune are not holding back when it comes to criticizing some of the recent puzzles featured on the show. Viewers have taken to social media to express their frustration with what they consider to be overly vague or nonsensical puzzles.

One recent puzzle that sparked outrage among fans was “A Group Of Pill Pushers.” Many viewers found this puzzle to be in poor taste and felt that it was not appropriate for a family-friendly show like Wheel of Fortune. Others criticized the puzzle for being too difficult to solve, with some even calling it “goofy” and “ridiculous.”

This is not the first time that Wheel of Fortune has come under fire for its puzzles. In the past, viewers have complained about puzzles that were too easy or too obscure, leading to accusations of poor puzzle quality.

Despite the backlash, Wheel of Fortune remains a beloved game show with a dedicated fan base. However, it seems that even the most loyal fans are not afraid to speak out when they feel that the show is not living up to its reputation. Will the show’s producers take note of the criticism and make changes to the puzzles in future episodes? Only time will tell.

  • ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Fans’ Angry Reaction to Final Puzzle Letter Choices

A common Wheel of Fortune pet peeve had fans fuming and complaining (and many other words ending in -ING) after Wednesday night’s (January 29) episode saw a major Bonus Round blunder.

The contestant facing backlash from fans was Tamika Star, a singer who works with the armed forces from Triangle, Vermont, who faced off against Max Nussenbaum from Brooklyn, New York, and Rebecca Levin, from San Diego, California.

Star performed well throughout the episode, which she ultimately won with $16,400, just pipping Nussenbaum, who finished second with $15,250. This sent her through to the Bonus Round for a chance to add even more money to her overall winnings.

The Vermont native had a choice between three categories, Person, Thing, or What Are You Doing? She decided on the latter and was shown a two-word puzzle that read: “_ _ _ _ N _ / _ R _ _ N _.”

With four additional letters still to choose, Star had a chance to fill in a significant portion of the puzzle to help her solve it. As long-time Wheel viewers know, the majority of the time, the What Are You Doing? puzzle starts with a word ending in -ING; therefore, it makes no sense for a contestant to waste their picks on those letters.

    Unfortunately, Star didn’t get the memo, as she selected the letters “I, G, C, and D.” This gave her a puzzle that then read: “_ _ _ I N G / _ R _ _ N _.”

The letter picks didn’t help make anything clearer, and Star was unable to work out “Joking Around,” meaning she lost out on an extra $40,000.

Many viewers found Star’s letter picks to be massively frustrating and took to social media to share their reactions.

“Nothing makes me more angry on this show than… Someone saying I & G on a “What Are You Doing” final puzzle,” wrote one fan on the Wheel of Fortune Reddit forum.

“I SCREAMED at the TV tonight. When they pick I and G and lose, I scream, “Serves you right!!!”” said another.

“I’m so glad I’m not the only one,” another added.

Another explained, “Called a gerund phrase: Washing the dog, Making breakfast, Running errands … this has bugged me too! Of course, in What Are You Doing, the first word will end in I N G.”

“Ha! Last night I said I and G are such a waste of letters!” said another.

“Any other letters except THE ONES YOU ALREADY KNOW ARE GUARANTEED TO BE THERE!! That’s why it’s a total waste to call I and G,” wrote one commenter.

However, there were a few who defended Star’s decision, with one user pointing out, “It is possible these letters appear more than once.”

Another agreed, writing, “I think sometimes WoF chooses a final puzzle with multiple Gs because they aren’t expecting people to pick G. Wasn’t there a final What Are You Doing puzzle that had the word “giggling” in it? I think it’s fine to pick G just in case.”

One user claimed that there are occasions where the What Are You Doing? puzzle doesn’t end with an -ING. “Including today, WAYD? has been chosen in syndication 232 times. 73 of them had no additional I or G, which is about 31%,” they shared.

What do you think about the -ING drama? What letters would you select for the What Are You Doing? category? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

The final puzzle on “Wheel of Fortune” last night had fans in an uproar as the letter choices seemed to be purposely misleading. Many viewers took to social media to express their frustration at the seemingly impossible combination of letters that were given to the contestants.

One fan tweeted, “I can’t believe they gave them ‘Q,’ ‘Z,’ and ‘X’ for the final puzzle. What kind of nonsense is this? #WheelofFortune.”

Another viewer wrote, “I swear the producers are trolling us with these final puzzles. ‘QZXF’ are you kidding me? #WheelofFortune.”

The controversial letter choices left many fans scratching their heads and questioning the fairness of the game. Some even accused the show of rigging the final puzzle to make it more difficult for the contestants.

Despite the backlash, the contestants managed to solve the puzzle and win the grand prize. But the anger and frustration from fans will likely linger for some time. Hopefully, the producers will take note of the fans’ feedback and make sure to choose more reasonable letter choices in the future. #WheelofFortuneFansReact

  • ‘Wheel of Fortune’ star Vanna White confused by son being called ‘thirst trap’

“Wheel of Fortune” star Vanna White was left puzzled after social media users called her son Nikko Santo Pietro a “thirst trap.”

Last month, White, 67, shared an Instagram video in which she and Santo Pietro were seen in the kitchen as they cooked a chicken dish. After fans used the slang phrase to describe the 30-year-old real estate agent, White appeared to be unfamiliar with the meaning of the term during Thursday’s episode of the long-running game show.

“I recently posted a video of me and my son, Nikko, cooking and it got a lot of response,” the TV personality told her co-host Ryan Seacrest as the audience cheered.

“I don’t get it,” White said with a shrug.

“The kids are calling Nikko a thirst trap,” Seacrest, 50, explained.

The “American Idol” host informed her that fans noticed Santo Pietro was wearing a snug-fitting white T-shirt in the clip.

“Apparently, that was a very tight — he went to the Baby Gap to buy that shirt,” Seacrest joked. “It was very tight and they found him strikingly good-looking and no one knows what you cooked.”

“What did you guys actually make?” he asked White.

“We cooked Uncle Roy’s Chicken,” White replied.

“Well, thank you Uncle Roy and thank you, Nikko, for that tight shirt,” Seacrest quipped.

White went on to tease that she would be posting another video on Thursday.

    “Oh boy!” Seacrest said.

“What’s it going to be?” White said coyly to which Seacrest replied, “We’ll find out soon.”

The “Vanna Speaks” author later shared another video of herself cooking with Santo Pietro, which was met with a similarly enthusiastic response from her followers.

After White uploaded the first cooking video in December, fans quickly took the comments section to rave over her “handsome” son and inquire about his relationship status.

“Vanna where have you been hiding Nikko ? He’s GORGEOUS,” one person wrote.

“Obviously, I had an outpour[ing] from her fans just really being kind and saying all kinds of interesting stuff in the comments,” he said.

Santo Pietro, who works at The Agency, the real estate company owned by Mauricio Umansky, ex-husband of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards, added, “I’ve always loved being in front of the camera, and I work really hard on my social media. That’s a big part of what I do, so it feels natural and good.”

However, Santo Pietro was adamant that the praise wasn’t going to his head.

“People see me as this heartthrob, and they’re thirsty for me and all this stuff. I love it all, but at the same time, it’s really good to remember the meaningful things in life and just kind of dial it back, doing a lot of charity work, working hard every day,” he told the outlet.

“That’s what it is to me,” Santo Pietro continued. “Making an impact.”

White added, “He’s such a good kid!”

While some fans had expressed their hopes of finding love with Santo Pietro or setting him up with their daughters, he confirmed he was already in a relationship.

“I have an amazing girlfriend,” he told ET. “She’s an absolute sweetheart. She’s a singer-songwriter. We’ve been together for a year. She wrote a song about me. It’s really sweet that she did that.

He added that his girlfriend, Easae, who wrote the song about him titled “Karaoke,” “obviously detected the heartthrob thing before America did.”

White confirmed that she approved of Easae, saying, “She’s so sweet, she really is, down-to-earth, loving, giving.”

Nikko’s viral attention is also potentially sparking a few more television appearances.

“I would love that,” White said when asked if fans could expect to see Santo Pietro on “Wheel of Fortune.” She noted that her former co-host Pat Sajak’s daughter, Maggie Sajak, has appeared the show many times, including filling in for White while she took over Sajak’s role as host in 2020 when he underwent surgery. Maggie has also worked as the show’s social media correspondent since 2021.

“I don’t know how well I’d play the game, but I’d love to participate at some level,” Nikko added.

Fox News Digital’s Elizabeth Stanton contributed to this report.

Vanna White, the beloved co-host of “Wheel of Fortune,” recently found herself in a bit of a confusing situation when her son was referred to as a “thirst trap” on social media.

The term “thirst trap” is often used to describe a photo or video that is posted online with the intention of attracting attention or compliments. It’s typically used in a playful or lighthearted way, but Vanna White was left scratching her head when she saw it being used to describe her own son.

In a recent interview, White admitted that she had to do some research to figure out what the term meant. She ultimately discovered that it was meant as a compliment, but she couldn’t help but feel a little puzzled by the whole situation.

Despite her confusion, White took the whole thing in stride and even joked that she might have to start posting some “thirst traps” of her own. It just goes to show that even a seasoned TV personality like Vanna White can still be surprised by the ever-evolving world of social media.

  • ‘Wheel of Fortune’ host Ryan Seacrest blamed for terrible blunder that almost cost a player $50,000

The host made a amajor blunder in the bonus round with the timer running out on the contestant.

Ryan Seacrest won over a number of fans on “Wheel of Fortune” despite initial doubts about his ability to replace Pat Sajak. But despite that, he has landed in hot water over some blunders and the way he carries himself too. Soon after his debut, Seacrest came under fire for nearly costing a contestant $50,000 due to a silly goof-up.

After the airing of the December 18 episode of Wheel Of Fortune, Seacrest faced backlash on social media for seemingly failing to acknowledge a player’s correct bonus puzzle solve. As viewers know, contestants are on the clock to solve the final puzzle and if they run out of time, they lose out on the prize hidden in the golden envelope.

In the episode, the contestant Noel Ballacco, cruised through the games racking up prizes and more than $13,000 in cash along the way. She made it all the way to the bonus round where she had the chance of winning up to a hundred thousand dollars more.

With her lover on the stage, she proceeded to spin the wheel and collect the bonus envelope. For the final bonus puzzle, Ballaco chose the category “People” which is relatively easier than some other categories. In addition to the standard letters, “RSTLNE”, she chose “G” and “L” as her first consonants. Despite “L” being standard, Seacrest failed to spot the mistake. The player corrected it herself and chose the other letters, “M,” I,” and “C.” Finally, the board read, “GRE_T  _I_S,” for her to solve.

Screenshot showing the puzzle (Image source: YouTube/Wheel Of Fortune)
Screenshot showing the puzzle (Image source: YouTube/Wheel Of Fortune)

When the ten-second timer started off, Ballanco’s first guess was “GREAT KIDS”. As it turned out, it was the correct answer and she had astonishingly solved the puzzle in a couple of seconds. While Vanna White and everyone else realized it, Seacrest was rather slow in registering the answer. In what seemed like an overreaction, Seacrest jumped the gun and revealed the contents of the golden envelope even before the camera cut to him. He just kept yelling “Yes, yes yes,” putting his hands over his mouth imitating the player. He then went on to engage in an exaggerated celebration while congratulating Ballacco on winning $63,100.

While everything went on smoothly, despite the error, fans took to social media to blast the host for the mistake. In the comments section of the YouTube video, one viewer @AustinTheSuperiorVyonder2021 wrote, “I definitely heard an L before the M. How did the L not get counted? Because of the original package. But seriously, Ryan, please remind the contestant in the bonus round that the letter that’s part of the original package they accidentally call is part of the original package next time if they do accidentally call the letter.”

Further, on the show’s unofficial Reddit forum, one user wrote, “Did anyone else catch she said the correct answer, but Ryan didn’t call it out as being correct at first? She had to say it a second time before it was acknowledged. I even backtracked my TV to make sure I heard it right the first time around.”

Several users agreed saying that it was a big misfire from the young new host. “When Vanna started nodding but Ryan didn’t say anything I started thinking she messed up. He’s also been a little delayed from Vanna obviously indicating they’re correct but never to the point that they have to say it again,” @Cmchk added.

On YouTube, people were quick to point out the same. “She said “Great Kids” in the first guess. How did the bonus round not end there?” @CodyFairlessLee asked.

In a shocking turn of events on the set of ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ host Ryan Seacrest has come under fire for a terrible blunder that almost cost a player $50,000.

During a recent episode of the popular game show, Seacrest mispronounced a key word in one of the puzzles, leading to confusion among the contestants. The error caused the player in the lead to lose their turn, ultimately costing them a shot at winning the $50,000 grand prize.

Viewers were quick to point out Seacrest’s mistake on social media, with many calling for the host to be held accountable for the blunder. Some even went so far as to suggest that Seacrest should be fired from his hosting duties on the show.

Despite the controversy, Seacrest has issued a public apology to the contestant who was affected by his error, and has vowed to make it right by offering them a chance to compete in a future episode for a chance to win the $50,000 prize.

Only time will tell if Seacrest’s apology will be enough to quell the backlash from fans of ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ but one thing is for certain: this blunder will go down in game show history as one of the most costly mistakes ever made on television.

  • ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Fans Call Ryan Seacrest’s Hosting ‘Annoying’ & ‘Lazy’

Ryan Seacrest is being hit with some criticism from longtime Wheel of Fortune lovers. Since taking over as host for Pat Sajak in September, Seacrest has received mixed reviews from viewers about his performance, with new complaints now rolling in about some of his tendencies.

One fan in the Wheel of Fortune Reddit forum wondered why Seacrest “has been forgetting to remind the player to dump the wild card after landing on bankrupt.” The commenter pointed this out after the Monday, January 27, episode, adding, “I’m not sure if he’s been forgetting too much or he’s just being lazy to remind the player.”

This sparked a discussion about other things that had been bothering viewers about Seacrest’s hosting abilities. “I think the more annoying thing is when he doesn’t remind them to call a letter before they solve in the last round when time is running out,” someone wrote. “Lady today lost out on 1500 or so.”

Another person jumped into say, “Oh my god, I hate the way he shows the money and the bonus round. He holds the card up against his chest and builds up the suspense, and it’s 40K. Sad slide whistle.” Someone else had a list of complaints, writing, “I just don’t believe that he actually loves the game itself. And as the host, he should be pointing out to the players when they have the clock ticking or ‘Don’t want to guess a letter first?’ It [would show] he cares about everyone doing well. And good grief — announce the dollar amount of the prize money at the end of the final spin.”

However, there were other commenters who jumped to Seacrest’s defense. “I love him. Think he is awesome,” someone said, while someone else wrote, “I’d prefer the host not remind people how to play the game. If I’m in the lead and the host reminds another player to guess a letter, and it results in them winning, I’d be pissed. I played the game correctly and didn’t need a reminder. Why is the host helping the other player? It’s fairest to just let everyone play and the best player wins.”

A third person added, “I really enjoy how Ryan hosts the show. He’s enthusiastic and really cheers the contestants on. I never cared for Pat’s snarky comments.”

Sajak was the host of Wheel for 43 years before he left the gig last year. His contract lasts through the early 2030s, according to The New York Times.

The long-running game show “Wheel of Fortune” has been a staple in American television for decades, but fans are not happy with the current host, Ryan Seacrest. Many viewers have taken to social media to express their displeasure with Seacrest’s hosting style, with some calling it “annoying” and “lazy.”

One fan tweeted, “I used to love watching Wheel of Fortune, but Ryan Seacrest’s hosting is just unbearable. He seems disinterested and doesn’t have the same energy as previous hosts.” Another fan wrote, “I miss the days when Pat Sajak and Vanna White were in charge. Seacrest just doesn’t have the same charm.”

Seacrest took over hosting duties for the show in 2020, following the retirement of long-time host Pat Sajak. While some viewers have praised Seacrest for bringing a fresh perspective to the show, others feel that he is not living up to the standard set by his predecessors.

Despite the backlash, Seacrest has not responded to the criticism. It remains to be seen if he will address the concerns of fans or if he will continue to host “Wheel of Fortune” in his own unique style.

  • Sinéad O’Connor’s Will Instructs Her Children to ‘Milk’ Her Fortune

Sinéad O’Connor’s final wishes for her children have been revealed.

The singer, who died at age 56 in July 2023, is survived by three children. At the time of her death, O’Connor’s estate was worth £1.7 million but reduced to £ 1.4 million ($ 1.75 million) after debts, legal fees, and funeral costs.

According to Irish probate records obtained by the U.K. newspaper The Sun, her fortune will be split between her children.

O’Connor also requested that her albums, which sold 6.2 million globally, be released as she urged her children to “milk it for what it’s worth.”

“I direct that after my death, and at the discretion of any of my children who are then over 18, my albums are to be released to ‘milk it for what it’s worth,’” the singer wrote in the 2013 signed document, per The Sun.

“My children can dispense my ashes as they see fit,” she added.

O’Connor died at age 56 after being found “unresponsive” at a home in London on July 26, 2023.

She had four children including her son Shane, who died by suicide at age 17 in 2022. She also had son Jake Reynolds, 37, shared with her first husband John Reynolds, daughter Roisin Waters, 29, with journalist John Waters, and son Yeshua Bonadio, 18, shared with Frank Bonadio.

In her will, the mom-of-four planned to pass down her religious regalia to her late son Shane and her guitar collection to her youngest child, Yeshua. She named her music producer ex-husband John as executor, The Sun reported. The pair were married from 1987 to 1991.

O’Connor’s official cause of death was revealed a year after her death in July 2024.

The “Nothing Compares to 2 U” singer died from “exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma together with low grade lower respiratory tract infection,” the Irish Independent reported at the time — citing the Grammy winner’s death certificate.

O’Connor’s death was formally registered by her ex-husband John in Lambeth, London, on July 24, 2024, the Irish Independent reported.

O’Connor’s death was certified after a post-mortem examination by senior coroner for Inner South London Julian Morris, according to the outlet.

Sinéad O’Connor, the iconic Irish singer-songwriter, has made headlines once again with the release of her will, which includes a rather unusual instruction for her children. In a surprising move, O’Connor’s will states that her fortune is to be “milked” by her children after her passing.

The wording of the will has raised eyebrows and sparked speculation about what exactly O’Connor meant by this directive. Some have interpreted it as a metaphor for making the most of the opportunities and resources that she leaves behind for her children. Others have speculated that it may be a reference to the need for her children to work together to manage and grow their inheritance.

Regardless of the interpretation, one thing is clear: O’Connor’s will is sure to leave a lasting impression on her fans and followers. As one of the most unique and enigmatic figures in the music industry, it’s no surprise that her final wishes would be just as unconventional.

It remains to be seen how O’Connor’s children will carry out her wishes, but one thing is for certain: her legacy will continue to live on through her music and the impact she has had on countless fans around the world.

  • Wheel of Fortune fans ‘cringe’ over Ryan Seacrest’s outfits in ‘tight’ wardrobe blunder

Since Ryan Seacrest has taken the reins from Pat Sajak as the host of Wheel of Fortune, he’s been fitting into the role quite well , though not everyone thinks the same about his wardrobe.

A certain Reddit thread is brimming with opinions about the 50 year old’s choice of attire for his appearances on the iconic ABC game show. Typically clad in a suit complemented by a tie and dress shoes, Ryan presents himself dapperly, but fans have pointed out some issues with how his clothes fit.

Despite looking sharp, viewers feel there’s something off about the fit of his ensembles.

“I watch this show every night with my mom and I’m starting to believe the contestants dress themselves better than the person who dresses Ryan Seacrest. His clothes almost always look tight on him. Is it just me or do other people notice this?” lamented Redditor @JimNasium1964, reports the Express US .

The sentiment isn’t isolated, a user responding: “A retired tailor here. Cringe,” adding: “It’s kind of like the daisy dukes of suits.” Another person commented: “Does look ridoculous. hes 50 trying to look 21.” A third person wrote: “He definitely has questionable outfits.”

A user suggested the issue might be mainly with Ryan’s stylist, stating: “Definitely need a new wardrobe person.”

In contrast, a user speculated on Ryan’s preference for the snug fits, commenting: “With the regularity with which it happens, it can’t be just random chance poor costuming. It’s gotta be the way he likes it.”

Nonetheless, there are those who stand by the game show host amidst the critiques.

A viewer threw their support behind the show’s new host, revealing: “I like the way he dresses. It’s not the suit and tie look in every single episode. His clothes have a European style to them with the tighter shorter pants. It takes me back to how young men dressed in the 60’s.”

Additionally, they commended Ryan’s approach to hosting, stating: “He’s nice to contestants and not mean and snarky like Sajak was.”

Ryan stepped into the spotlight as the host, replacing the well-known Pat, who is 78, on Monday, September 9, 2024, joining Vanna White, a veteran co-host since 1983. Pat announced his decision to retire from the beloved game show in 2023.
