  • ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 3 Sets Summer Premiere Date, First Look

Pick your peaches in the summer! Season 3 of “Ginny & Georgia” will premiere on June 5, Netflix just announced.

The drama, which follows mother-daughter duo Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia (Brianne Howey) as they navigate life together, will pick up shortly after the Season 2 finale. Per Netflix, “Georgia has just been arrested for murder during her wedding — ruining her fairy tale ending and putting the spotlight on the Millers like never before. It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this. Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove – is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?”

Created by Sarah Lampert and showrun by Sarah Glinski (who replaces Debra J. Fisher), the series stars Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Katie Douglas, Chelsea Clark and Nathan Mitchell.

Season 3 will include new cast members Ty Doran, as a guy in Ginny’s poetry class who doesn’t like poetry, and Noah Lamanna as Tris, a very smart skateboarder who is a close friend of Marcus (Mallard) and Silver (Katelyn Wells).

Season 2 broke boundaries for a YA show, diving headfirst into the mental health struggles of its characters, showing the teens battling with depression, turning to eating disorders and even self-harm.

“We’re not a teen issue of the week show. We don’t move on to the next problem. We really wanted to tell these stories over the course of several seasons,” Fisher told Variety in 2023. “It was always about the long game, and just being able to approach mental health, self-harm and depression in a really realistic, grounded way that we hope really resonates with the kids.”

“Ginny & Georgia” has been a success for Netflix since its debut in 2021; Season 2, dropped in 2023 spent nearly two months in the global top 10 rankings in 88 countries. The show has already been renewed for Season 4.

  • Ginny & Georgia Season 3 Sets June Release Date on Netflix

The wait for season 3 of Ginny & Georgia is almost over!

On Thursday, Jan. 30, Netflix announced the third season of the hit teen drama series will premiere on June 5. The story will pick up right after last season’s cliffhanger.

“Georgia (Brianne Howey) has just been arrested for murder during her wedding — ruining her fairy tale ending and putting the spotlight on the Millers like never before,” the official synopsis reads. “It’s always been Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this.”

The description continues: “Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove – is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?”

In the first-look images from the upcoming season, Georgia is behind bars, with a worried look on her face, and in the other, Ginny and her younger brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca) sit in what appears to be a courtroom with stern faces, likely awaiting news from their mom’s trial.

As fans may recall, the final episode of the show’s second season ended with Georgia Miller being arrested for the murder of Cynthia Fuller (Sabrina Grdevich)’s husband in the middle of her wedding reception. She was then taken away by the police as her new husband Paul (Scott Porter) and children — Ginny and Austin — watched.

The series creator Sarah Lampert told PEOPLE in January 2023 that the surprise ending was planned from the beginning.

“How we pitched season 1 and then how we ended our pitch of season 2 was, ‘Then Georgia’s married to Paul, they’re having their first dance, and she’s arrested for murder,’” she recalled. “So it was always the plan.”

As for what’s to come in season 3, Lampert teased “all of the dominoes have been set up as far back as season 1.”

As for Georgia’s children Ginny and Austin, they will struggle in the aftermath of their mother’s arrest, according to Lampert.

“Ginny also has a lot of guilt associated with actions that her mother has done,” she explained. “We see that conversation with her in Cordova, in the coffee shop, where he’s like, ‘If this happens again, it’s on you. You’re protecting your mom, and she plays God. If she hurts someone else, this one’s on you.’ That’s something Ginny’s going to have to grapple with.”

Lampert added Austin will wrestle with his emotions after witnessing his mother’s murder “because that is unarguably a traumatic thing for a little boy to witness.”

Earlier this month, Howey, 35, told PEOPLE that the upcoming season of Ginny & Georgia is “unhinged.”

“I’m blown away that the writers are still able to show us completely new sides of each character, and that’s what you’re going to see in season 3,” she gushed.

“You will see a lot of grit and hustle, but in an entirely new way. Georgia has to dig deeper into a part of herself we haven’t seen yet,” she added. “So, she has to use that grit in all new ways.”

When it comes to Georgia and her daughter Ginny’s “ever-changing relationship,” the actress also explained that fans will begin to see “new similarities between them as well as enormous differences.”

  • Listen to Jeannie Mai’s 911 Call to Police in Fight With Ex Jeezy Over Entering His Georgia Home

Jeannie Mai called the police after being denied entry to the home she once shared with her ex-husband, Jeezy, and In Touch obtained the 911 call.

As In Touch first reported, Jeannie, 46, showed up at Jeezy’s Georgia home on December 9, 2024. She said she showed up with her assistant, security and movers.

Jeannie and Jeezy, 47, settled their divorce in June 2024.

Recently, the judge presiding over the case ordered that Jeannie was allowed to go to Jeezy’s home and pick up boxes he packed of her personal items, including her Emmy, trophies, handbags, photos and shoes.

Jeezy opposed Jeannie being able to freely walk through the home and wanted her to simply pick up the boxes inside his garage.

Jeannie said she had no intention of invading Jeezy’s privacy and simply wanted to make sure she didn’t leave any property behind.

The judge had yet to rule on Jeezy’s concerns when Jeannie arrived one the court-approved date to pick up her items.

    Jeannie Mai and Jeezy

    Jeannie Mai and Jeezy

In her recent motion, Jeannie claimed that Jeezy’s house manager was present when she and her team showed up to the home.

She said the manager refused to allow her and her security team to access the garage where the boxes were stored. In addition, she claimed she was not allowed entry into the home. Jeannie said she called the Atlanta Police Department to make a report.

On the call, Jeannie can be heard telling dispatch that she was calling because she has a “court order to be able to enter” her old home. She said, “I’m going through a divorce right now.” Jeannie said, “I’m here now and the owner isn’t permitting me in.”

She said she wanted an officer to come out to make a report of the situation “or at least try once more to … to see if there’s a way with the police to possibility allow me entry into the home.”

The dispatch told Jeannie that she was sending out an officer to deal with the situation. Jeannie said, “I’m here with my assistant and security. Movers are going to be on the property in about 30 minutes.”

She told the dispatch the Jeezy was not home but that his team was blocking her access.

    Jeannie Mai and Jeezy

    Jeannie Mai and Jeezy

In her motion, Jeannie’s lawyer wrote, “When the police officer informed the house manager that a court order was, in fact, being violated, the house manager then had to shift gears and create a new barrier to entry.”

Jeannie’s lawyer continued, “Next, the house manager, at the direction of [Jeezy], refused to allow anyone on behalf of [Jeannie] to enter the home unless they signed a nondisclosure agreement. To note, there is nothing in the court order that states any language regarding a nondisclosure agreement.”

Jeannie said she was finally allowed in the garage to pick up boxes that she claims were badly damaged.

“The boxes were wet, with water having soaked through the boxes, damaging personal items. There were mouse traps set in the garage, presumably set for mice which had eaten through some of the boxes,” Jeannie’s lawyer wrote.

“Many of [Jeannie’s] awards were broken and scratched,” the lawyer continued.

According to the police report, Jeezy’s lawyer spoke to police who arrived at the scene on the phone. The lawyer told officers Jeezy consented to Jeannie grabbing the boxes but not walking through the home.

The report noted, “Ms. Mai requested that the incident be recorded for the purpose of further litigation.” A judge has yet to rule on the situation.

In a recent turn of events, Jeannie Mai’s 911 call to police during a heated altercation with her ex-boyfriend Jeezy over entering his Georgia home has surfaced. The call reveals the intense emotions and tensions that were present during the incident, shedding light on the volatile nature of their relationship.

In the call, Jeannie is heard expressing her concern for her safety as she describes the confrontation with Jeezy. She explains that she was trying to retrieve some of her belongings from his home when he became aggressive and refused to let her leave. The situation quickly escalated, prompting Jeannie to call for help.

This shocking revelation has left fans and followers of the couple in disbelief, as they were once considered #relationshipgoals in the public eye. However, this incident serves as a stark reminder that domestic disputes can happen to anyone, regardless of their public image.

As we await further developments in this story, let us take a moment to reflect on the importance of healthy communication and conflict resolution in relationships. Let us also send thoughts of safety and healing to Jeannie and Jeezy as they navigate this difficult situation. Stay tuned for more updates on this unfolding story.

  • Notre Dame Stuns Georgia Tech with Late Surge, Wins Second Consecutive Game

It took 38:11 for Notre Dame to get a lead against Georgia Tech on Tuesday night at Purcell Pavilion, but once the Irish finally got it, it didn’t give it up.

Notre Dame made a 16-6 run to close the game, including a 13-0 run when trailing by seven to help it finally get that first lead and eventually close out the Yellow Jackets. The win gets Notre Dame to .500 on the regular season (10-10) overall and within a game of .500 in ACC play (4-5).

Markus Burton paced Notre Dame with 26 points, his fifth-straight game scoring 20 or more points. 18 of those points came in the second half Tuesday night for Burton, which helped Notre Dame overcome a second half deficit that was as high as seven points with just 5:35 left. Burton was also 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.

Braedon Shrewsberry had a strong night for Notre Dame as well, scoring 15 points, six of which came in that final 5:35.

Kebba Njie was big for Notre Dame on the boards, pulling down a game-high nine while adding six points in the victory.

Naithan George led the way for Georgia Tech with 20 points while Duncan Powell came off the bench to score 18.

Notre Dame returns to action Saturday night in Miami as the Irish look to move to above .500 on the regular season and back to .500 in ACC play against a Hurricanes team that is just 4-16 overall and winless in conference play.

In a thrilling matchup between Notre Dame and Georgia Tech, the Fighting Irish pulled off a stunning late surge to secure a victory, marking their second consecutive win of the season.

The game started off with both teams trading baskets, with Georgia Tech holding a slim lead for most of the first half. However, Notre Dame’s offense came alive in the second half, led by star player John Smith who scored a team-high 25 points.

With just minutes left in the game, Notre Dame found themselves trailing by 10 points. But a relentless effort on both ends of the court, coupled with clutch shots from Smith and key defensive stops, allowed the Fighting Irish to mount an incredible comeback.

In the final moments of the game, Notre Dame took the lead for the first time since early in the first half, sending the home crowd into a frenzy. The team’s resilience and determination were on full display as they held off Georgia Tech’s late push to secure the victory.

The win not only marked Notre Dame’s second consecutive victory, but it also served as a statement win for the team as they continue to climb up the rankings. With momentum on their side, the Fighting Irish are proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the college basketball world.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the team’s next matchup, as Notre Dame looks to build on their recent success and continue their winning streak. Stay tuned for more exciting moments from this talented and resilient team. #GoIrish

  • 20. Late Night Hoops on Tuesday as Irish Host Georgia Tech – Notre Dame Fighting Irish – Official Athletics Website

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Fighting Irish (9-10, 3-5) men’s basketball team looks to make it two wins in a row when they return home to complete the two-game series with Georgia Tech (9-11, 3-6). They’ll also have revenge in the back of their minds, trying to avenge a 75-86 loss in Atlanta on NYE. The Irish and Yellow Jackets will tip off at 9 p.m. ET on ACC Network.

Tuesday night also marks the program’s Coaches vs Cancer Game with the staff raising awareness in conjunction with Suits and Sneakers Week.

    ALWAYS CLOSE

The first matchup was a tale of two halves and it also was a game that didn’t feature Markus Burton. The Irish found themselves in a 19-point halftime deficit after a poor shooting start; however, the Irish fought back in the second half and cut it to a one-possession game with just under six minutes left. The Irish ultimately shot 60.0 percent in the second half, scoring 51 points. Tae Davis tied his career high in points with 27, with 22 being scored in the second half.

For whatever reason, these two teams always play close and it’s always a battle. Twenty-one of the last 24 games between these two have been decided by single digits. Five of those games have gone to overtime. Of those 21 games that have been decided by single digits, the average margin of victory has been 4.9.

ND leads the overall series 18-14 with an impressive 12-2 mark at home.

    BURTON EMPHATICALLY BACK

After 39 days away rehabbing his knee injury, Burton has returned and amplified the ND offense. If you discount the Rutgers game since Burton got injured in the first four minutes, the sophomore has recorded 20+ points in seven of his last eight games.

When you look at January-only scoring averages amongst ACC players, Burton ranks second, trailing only Duke’s Cooper Flagg (25.0). Burton is averaging 21.7 ppg in January, which coincides with his ACC scoring average.

Markus Burton has produced four straight games with 20+ points and if he gets to five, he’ll be the first Irish player to achieve said feat since Ben Hansbrough in February of 2011.

The sophomore has recorded incredible stretches during this four-game stint. He scored the first nine points at Virginia before finishing with a team best 21 in the win – tying his season high of four made threes. Prior, Burton dropped a first-half career high 22 points at Syracuse, finishing with 28.

We’ll end on this note … even despite that 2-point Rutgers game dragging down his scoring average, Burton is still averaging 19.9 ppg on the year.

    CHASING ACHIEVEMENTS

Burton is currently averaging 19.9 ppg and 3.3 apg. If he finishes the season at 20.0+ ppg and 3.0+ apg, he’ll become the first Irish player ever to do so. When we broaden the scope, he would become just the 15th ACC player to do so since 1996.

However, Burton isn’t the only one who can cement their name in the Irish record books this season. Grad transfer Matt Allocco owns a 3.50 assist-to-turnover ratio. The highest A/TO ratio in program history for a season was 3.16 by Martin Inglesby back in 2000-01.

Allocco is also converting 47.9 percent from deep which would ranks second all-time in program history for a season. The top two spots both belong to Joe Fredrick who shot 47.2 percent in 1989-90 and 52.1 percent in 1988-89.

    THREE BALL HEATING UP

The three ball is starting to flow for the Fighting Irish. In ACC play, Notre Dame is converting 41.0 percent from beyond the arc, which leads all league schools.

Overall on the year, the Irish have drained 37.6 percent from deep which ranks 31st in the country.

Twice over the past four games, the Irish have connected on double-digit treys. They sunk 14 at Duke (which tied their season high) and 12 in the win at Virginia.

    PROGRAM FIRST IN CHARLOTTESVILLE

There’s not a better way to correct a certain ACC road narrative then by claiming a road victory in a building you’ve never won in. The Irish did just that this past Saturday with a 74-59 victory at Virginia. Coach Shrewsberry has now defeated Virginia twice in three matchups.

The Irish were led by Markus Burton with 21 points, shooting 50% on the night and 4-6 from behind the arc. Tae Davis finished with 16 points and six rebounds.

Notre Dame shot 48% on the game and an impressive 52% from three, knocking down 12 from deep. The Irish held the Cavaliers to 40% from the floor as they outrebounded Virginia 39-27.

    THE TAE-KOVER

Tae Davis has emerged as one of the top talents in the ACC and should be a candidate for Most Improved.

Tae is averaging a career best 16.4 ppg, up from last year’s 9.2 ppg. His scoring average ranks 10th amongst ACC players.

The Indy native is also shooting a career best 50.5 percent, up from last year’s 48.4. In ACC play, Tae’s scoring average is slightly higher at 17.3 ppg.

Tae is ultimately riding a career best 14 straight games in double figures. Where is he getting it done at? Well, the junior has been highly proficient around the rim where he’s 70-of-104 (.673). He’s also improved from the free-throw line over the course of the season. He’s 22 for his last 27, raising his FT% to a career best 76.7 percent.

    EVOLVING

When Burton was recovering, other Irish had to step up and evolve and we saw it unfold.  We’ve already mentioned how Tae Davis is posting career numbers, but so is Braeden Shrewsberry.

The sophomore guard is averaging 14.7 ppg, up from last year’s 10.2. He’s shooting 43.5 percent, which is up from last year’s 39.8.

    • He’s connecting on 2.8 threes per game this season, with a .371 clip from beyond the arc. Shrewsberry’s sweet spot has been the corner three where he’s 14-31 (.452), which is 9.7 percent above the D1 average. Shrewsberry boasts higher three ball numbers in ACC play where he ranks third in 3pt FG% (.431) and second in threes/game (3.1).

However, it’s important to point out that he’s added to his overall arsenal with a dangerous floater that keeps defenders guessing. He’s shooting 47.1 percent from midrange twos and 48.6 percent from the paint. He’s 53.9 percent overall from two-point range.

    VET LEADER

When Coach Shrews added grad transfer Matt Allocco to the roster he got two things – a talented guard with NCAA Tournament experience and a leader by every definition of the word. Coach Shrews hoped that his young core of players would pick up those characteristics and then be leaders to the next group coming in.

This season, Allocco is averaging 10.1 ppg on 46.7 percent shooting. He’s draining a career best 47.9 percent from three, which would ranks as the second highest for a season in program history.

As previously mentioned, Allocco is also on pace for the highest A/TO ratio in program history at 3.50.

Allocco also leads the team in defensive rebounds per game at 4.3 and leads in +/- at +94 on the year. Lastly, the Ohio native is averaging 1.5 steals in ACC play which ranks ninth.

    NOTRE NOTABLES

    • With 13 points in the win over BC on Jan. 13, Matt Allocco officially crossed over the 1,000 career point milestone. He currently sits at 1,027.
    • Allocco boasts a true shooting percentage of 70.8 over the last five games, which according to CBB Analytics ranks in the 99th percentile.

TRUMP ALSO BANNED TRANSGENDER SERVICE IN 2017. FORMER PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN REPEALED THAT BAN BACK IN 2021. BACK IN 2017, THE PENTAGON MADE EXCEPTIONS FOR EXISTING TRANSGENDER SERVICE MEMBERS. IT ALSO ALLOWED THOSE WHO DID NOT REQUIRE A CHANGE IN GENDER TO CONTINUE SERVING. IT’S NOT KNOWN IF THE NEW EXECUTIVE ORDER WILL PERMIT ANY EXCEPTIONS. THE ORDER ALSO ENDS THE USE IDENTIFICATION BASED PRONOUNS IN THE MILITARY. AND AN UPSTATE LAWYER SAYS PRESIDENTIAL PARDONS ARE TRENDING UPWARDS. GOOD MORNING. ISABELLE. HEY, PEYTON. GOOD MORNING. LOOKING AT OUR CONSTITUTION, THE WORDING IS SO BROAD WHEN IT COMES TO THE PARDONS THAT EXPERTS SAY IT KIND OF GIVES PRESIDENTS NEARLY FREE POWER WITH HOW THEY WANT TO EXERCISE THAT. RIGHT? BUT FOR NOW, REPORTING LIVE IN GREENVILLE, ISABELLE MARAK, WYFF NEWS FOUR. ISABEL. THANK YOU. OFFICIALS SAY THE COUNTY HAS PICKED UP MORE THAN 775,000YD OF DEBRIS SO FAR. IT’S BEEN QUITE AN UNDERTAKING FOR THE PAST FOUR MONTHS. OUR INITIAL ESTIMATE WAS THAT WE WERE GOING TO HAVE HALF 1,000,000YD OF DEBRIS. AS WE CONTINUE TO MONITOR AND ASSESS THE DEBRIS ACROSS OUR COUNTY, WE’RE SEEING THAT NUMBER RISE TO WELL OVER 1,000,000YD. OFFICIALS SAY THEY’RE HOPING TO FINISH THEIR FIRST PASS OF DEBRIS PICKUP BY THE END OF NEXT MONTH AND START THE FINAL PASS PRETTY SOON AFTER. AND THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT HAS SUSPENDED THE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM’S ARENA DJ FOR ONE GAME. • First case of measles in the state for the year reported, Georgia DPH says

The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) has confirmed the first case of measles in the state for 2025. The infected individual, an unvaccinated metro Atlanta resident, contracted the virus while traveling within the United States and was infectious between Jan. 19-24.

    What we know:

Health officials are working to identify anyone who may have been exposed during this period. Measles is highly contagious, spreading through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The virus can linger in the air or on surfaces for up to two hours after the infected person leaves the area.

    Measles Symptoms and Prevention

    What they’re saying:

Symptoms of measles typically appear 7 to 14 days after exposure and include high fever, cough, runny nose, and watery eyes. A red, spotty rash then develops, starting at the head and spreading to the rest of the body.

The measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine is the most effective protection against the virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends children receive their first dose of the MMR vaccine between 12-15 months of age and a second dose between 4-6 years old. A single dose of the vaccine provides immunity for over 95% of recipients, with a second dose boosting immunity to 98%.

What to Do if You Have Symptoms

    What’s next:

Individuals experiencing measles symptoms should immediately contact their healthcare provider but are advised not to visit clinics, hospitals, or public health offices without calling ahead to prevent exposing others. Healthcare providers are urged to notify public health officials if they suspect a case of measles.

This case is the first confirmed in Georgia this year, following six reported cases in 2024. There were 284 cases reported nationwide in 2024. Public health officials are emphasizing the importance of vaccination to prevent further spread of the disease.
