Ariana Grande Reveals ‘Wicked’ Prop She Kept That Would Be ‘Weird’ To Frame
Ariana Grande kept a prop from Wicked that currently resides in a very unique part of her home.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the beloved actress and pop sensation is in possession of Cynthia Erivo‘s prosthetic Elphaba ears and keeps them next to her printer.
“Right now, they’re just, like, next to the printer. With, like, pens and printer and then Cynthia’s ears,” she unveiled during a recent interview.
The “7 Rings” songstress continued, explaining that she thinks it would be odd to frame the ears, so she’s still figuring out where to display them.
“But sometimes if I’m having guests over or if I put out a tray of whatever, I’ll just kind of leave them nearby to see if anyone gets a little confused. I’m just kidding. I’ve never done that, but I will. No, yeah, they’re next to the printer for now. Framing them is weird.”
During an interview with Today in November, Grande listed a few props she took from the set of the highly-acclaimed film, including Glinda‘s wand, some books, a few snow globes, and “a piece of Johnny Bailey … that he gave me.”
The star did not go into detail about what Bailey gave her, but did reveal that she took Erivo’s prothetic ears (created to cover the actress’s many piercings) that have yet to claim a final destination in her home.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Ariana Grande shocked fans by revealing that she kept a prop from her time starring in the Broadway musical “Wicked.” The prop in question? Glinda’s bubble wand.Grande explained that she couldn’t bear to part with the wand after her run in the show, as it had sentimental value to her. She joked that it would be “weird” to frame the prop, but she couldn’t bring herself to throw it away either.
Fans were delighted to hear about Grande’s connection to the musical, and many expressed their desire to see her return to the stage in the future. With her incredible vocal range and stage presence, it’s no wonder that Grande left such a lasting impression during her time in “Wicked.”
Who knows, maybe one day we’ll see Grande back on Broadway, wand in hand, ready to cast a spell on audiences once again.

Ariana Grande recently revealed that Cynthia Erivo‘s prosthetic Elphaba ears from Wicked now reside in a very… unique place in her home.
“Right now, they’re just, like, next to the printer,” the actress admitted in a recent BBC Radio 1 interview. “With, like, pens and printer and then Cynthia’s ears.”
Still, Grande noted that she’s open to potentially moving them from their place of pride next to the printer in order to playfully prank her guests. “But sometimes if I’m having guests over or if I put out a tray of whatever, I’ll just kind of leave them nearby to see if anyone gets a little confused,” she said. “I’m just kidding. I’ve never done that, but I will. No, yeah, they’re next to the printer for now.”

Grande added that it feels like a good spot for them. “Framing them is weird,” she confessed as interviewer Ali Plumb began to change topics. “Sorry! Go ahead, I’m still thinking about it. I’m spiraling about it.”
Plumb then offered up his own ear placement suggestion. “I think hide them in the downstairs loo and just have them there with no context, don’t explain them, that’s where they live,” he said, prompting Grande to reply, “I love it.”
Why exactly did Erivo end up sporting prosthetic ears in order to play Elphaba, you may ask? Well, the actress revealed in a November Elle interview that it was due to her collection of piercings. “I have a million piercings, so they brought in a prosthetic artist, who created basically a shell for my ears,” Erivo confessed at the time. “Those aren’t my ears!”
Grande first confessed to taking Erivo’s ear prosthetics home with her during a November Today interview. And, as it turns out, they weren’t the only prop that she took after filming wrapped, either.
“It’s just a question of, ‘What did we leave? What didn’t we take?’” Grande joked, noting that she took her character Glinda’s wand, books, and “several snow globes from the Emerald City.”
She also noted that she took “a piece of Johnny Bailey … that he gave me,” but declined to shed any further information about it at the time because it’s a “movie two spoiler.”
Watch Grande talk about owning Elphaba’s ears in the clip above.
Ariana Grande, the pop sensation known for her powerhouse vocals and iconic ponytail, has revealed a surprising keepsake she has in her home office – Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba ears from the Broadway musical “Wicked”.In a recent Instagram post, Grande shared a photo of the green, pointed ears worn by Erivo during her time playing the role of Elphaba in the hit musical. Grande explained that she keeps the ears next to her printer as a reminder of the magic of Broadway and the incredible talent of Erivo.

Ariana Grande Kept Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba Ears
Being in Wicked was a life-long dream come true for Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda in the feature adaptation of the hit Broadway musical. Getting to be part of the world has been huge for her, so it makes sense that she kept some souvenirs from the set to remember the experience… including a key prop that helped transform Cynthia Erivo into Elphaba.
For anyone on the internet who has been holding space for the friendship between Grande and Erivo, the duo has talked about their matching “for good” and poppy tattoos as part of all the ways they have expressed their love for one another like the real life Glinda and Elphie they are. Recently a new addition to their bestie lore has been revealed: Grande does actually have in her possession Erivo’s prosthetic ears from the shoot.
In Grande’s recent interview with BBC Radio 1, the Oscar nominee confirmed it, and revealed where exactly she keeps her odd keepsake of a piece of Elphaba’s body. “So right now they’re just next to the printer, like with like pens and printer and then like Cynthia’s ears.” (The props were made to cover the piercings on Erivo’s her real ears.) “But sometimes if I’m having guests over, if I put out a tray of whatever, I’ll just kind of leave them nearby to see if anyone gets a little confused.”
Grande quickly interjected, “I’m just kidding, I’ve never done that, but I will. No, yeah, they’re next to the printer for now. Framing them is weird.”
It makes us wonder what Erivo might have kept of Glinda’s from the film, and if it’s as much of a choice as Grande’s trinkets. Friends honor each other in so many unique ways and the way the duo gush over each other is a tribute to their love of their Wicked characters.
The interview with Grande goes on to discuss one of her favorite moments during the shoot: when Erivo winked at Grande during the film’s pivotal “Defying Gravity” performance to help anchor the actress in Glinda’s strength. It nearly broke Grande out of character, but she held it together—”It’s a very emotional moment,” Grande said of that powerful and affirming gesture—and director Jon M. Chu kept it in the final cut.
“I think it’s very hard to say goodbye to someone that you love. And I think in that moment, we’re both breaking. And I think the wink was so generous and warm because I think she knows how hard it is for Glinda to open up and cry and to become emotional like that,” Grande said. “That’s why I’m trying so hard not to, and I’m crying through—I’m smiling through the—and I’m trying not— I’m holding back and she’s just like, ‘I’ve got you, it’s okay.’”
Grande continued, “And I think that’s what is so beautiful about ‘Defying Gravity’ is that it’s the true example of unconditional love. It is saying to someone, ‘I recognize that we can no longer grow together. We have to grow apart and I want that for you because I know it’s right and best for you but it just isn’t right and best for me. We’ve got this.’ And the wink is such a—it’s such a loud way of saying that.”

Quali tasti hai toccato?
#ForzaSquadra #Vittoria #Renato #KoloMuani #Vlahovic

Watch Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez & More Collab on Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Espresso’
Generate Key TakeawaysAriana Grande will happily sing Sabrina Carpenter‘s “Espresso,” in case anyone thought otherwise — or at least do a dramatic reading of the lyrics.
“This is ‘Espresso’ by Sabrina Carpenter? What is it doing here?” she asks in a video uploaded by W Magazine on Saturday (Feb. 1), where she’s on an interview set and soon learns that the mag’s team intended to ask others to sing the pop hit for a segment of “Lyrical Improv.”
More from Billboard
“You weren’t going to ask me to sing?” Grande cuts in. When she’s told they didn’t think she’d want to take part, she issues a correction: “You’re mistaken, ma’am.”
Grande and Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo make the cut in the final version of W‘s “Espresso” line-by-line (mostly) sing-along video, as do Selena Gomez, Saoirse Ronan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Harris Dickinson and more. “It’s safe to say Sabrina does it better,” Gomez quips at the end.
Although Ronan seems maybe the most excited to take part, and knows the tune well, she admits that before joining in on the fun she actually thought Carpenter’s song was called “Nespresso.”
Carpenter’s set to perform live at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday. No word on what she’ll be singing, but “Espresso” did earn best pop solo performance and record of the year nominations. Carpenter is also up for song of the year for “Please Please Please,” and her Short n’ Sweet collection is nominated for pop vocal album and album of the year. Plus, Carpenter is nominated for best new artist after her breakthrough year, making it a total of six Grammy nominations for her at the ceremony.

Ariana Grande at the National Board of Review Awards gala earlier this month via Associated Press Ariana Grande has opened up about the highs and lows of growing up as a child actor.
Those of us who only knew Ariana for her Grammy-winning pop career before she was cast in Wicked might have been surprised by her acting chops, but the Oscar nominee’s career did actually begin in acting.
During her teen years, Ariana performed on Broadway in the musical 13, before landing a role playing Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon teen sitcom Victorious (her character also appeared in the spin-off Sam & Cat).
The No Tears Left To Cry singer recently sat down with BBC World Service, where she was asked about becoming “such a fully-formed person as a result of a child acting experience”.
“Being in this industry at all – as a child, as an adult, as anything – is a balance of ‘survive’ and ‘thrive’,” Ariana began.
“You know, there are so many beautiful things that come with being an actor and a performer, and I remember just falling in love with my character, and that being such a gift to my life.
“I think playing Cat Valentine was like my very first experience getting absolutely lost in a character, I just loved it so much.”

“Every single thing about it is quite strange and quite alien, you know?” she explained. “Even just the experience of acting in and of itself, you are not yourself, and it’s a very strange thing.
“Just working like an adult as a child is, you know, an adjustment as well. Doing school in a little tiny room, having to take certain exams to graduate early so you can work hours sooner, these are all choices that we made. But it definitely should be, I think, a more protected place, this industry – for kids, for adults, for anyone.”
She added: “I just worry about those who don’t have that support, and it’s something that I hope we can be a positive part of that change together.”
The safeguarding of child actors was a key theme of the 2024 documentary Quiet On Set, which featured contributions from several Nickelodeon actors
Speaking on the podcast Podcrushed last year in the wake of the documentary’s release, Ariana said: “Obviously my relationship to [that time] has been – and is currently – changing. I’ve been reprocessing a lot of what the experience was like.”
“I think that the environment needs to be made safer if kids are going to be acting,” she added, calling for on-set therapists and permission for young performers’ parents to be on set with them if they so wish.
Last week, it was revealed that Ariana is in the running for her first Oscar off the back of her performance in Wicked.
Reacting to the news, she posted a throwback photo of herself dressed as Dorothy from The Wizard Of Oz, and dedicated her win to “tiny Ari”.

Ariana Grande says child stars need ‘more protection’ in ‘strange’ industry – Celebrity News – Entertainment
Ariana Grande has spoken out following allegations of a toxic work environment for child actors, as revealed in the documentary ‘Quiet On Set’ about former Nickelodeon executive Dan Schneider.
The star of Wicked expressed her concern for those in the industry without adequate support and voiced her desire to contribute to positive change.
She stated: “I worry about those who don’t have that support and it’s something I hope we can be a part of positive part of that change together by talking about it.”
This week, Ariana received an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Glinda in the film adaptation of the popular musical Wicked.
Overwhelmed by the recognition, she took to social media to express her gratitude, writing: “Picking my head up in between sobs to say thank you so much to @theacademy for this unfathomable recognition. I cannot stop crying, to no one’s surprise.”
She continued: “I’m humbled and deeply honoured to be in such brilliant company and sharing this with tiny Ari who sat and studied Judy Garland singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow just before the big, beautiful bubble entered. I’m so proud of you, tiny. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart, for this acknowledgment @theacademy.
“Thank you @jonmchu for taking this chance on me and for being the most unbelievably brilliant leader, human being, and most fierce friend. I am so deeply proud of my beautiful Wicked family. I am so proud of my Elphie, my sister, my dear @cynthiaerivo.
“Your brilliance is never ending and you deserve every flower (tulip) in every garden. I love you unconditionally, always. In a candid interview, Grande shared her thoughts on the unique challenges faced by young performers in the spotlight.“It’s a strange industry to grow up in,” Grande said. “There are so many pressures and expectations placed on young stars, and it can be overwhelming at times. I think we need to do more to support and protect these kids as they navigate their way through fame.”
Grande, who got her start in show business at a young age on Nickelodeon’s hit show “Victorious,” understands firsthand the pressures of being a child star. She has been vocal about the importance of mental health and self-care, and believes that young performers need access to resources and support to help them navigate the complexities of fame.
“I’ve been lucky to have a strong support system around me, but not everyone has that,” Grande said. “We need to do better as an industry to ensure that child stars have the protection and guidance they need to thrive and succeed in a healthy way.”
Grande’s comments come at a time when the entertainment industry is facing increased scrutiny over its treatment of young performers. With more and more former child stars speaking out about their struggles with mental health and addiction, there is a growing awareness of the need for better protections for young talent.
As one of the biggest stars in the world, Ariana Grande’s words carry weight, and her advocacy for child stars is sure to spark important conversations in the industry. Let’s hope that her message is heard and that meaningful change is made to ensure the well-being of all young performers.
