Works like a charm!
Got this to pair with the Rokid Max glasses to play my Ps5 at my gfs house. Does exactly what it says it does. Plug ps5 hdmi into it, plug in some power and connect the glasses. Boom, you’re off to the races. Supports 120hz on ps5 at least at 1080p (although if you use the Rokid max specifically, you may have to toggle the 120hz mode. They tend to default to 60hz).Been playing call of duty and Hogwarts legacy, games look great!

    Needed a device to hookup my google tv device to my nreal air. Love that device is pretty small in compact form, plus having usbc charging instead of micro usb that similar devices have. No audio (google tv) through glasses but using bluetooth headset.     So it does work but there are no clear instructions how to get up and running. So after some testing i got it to work and was able to duplicate multiple times. So with these steps you will be able to get video and audio. What I did to get to work:

    1st get a new usb A to usb C cable. The one that comes with the adapter does not work.

    2nd plug in your usb C display output ( xreal air, monitor, etc ).

    3rd you plug in your usb C power to both the power source then the HDMI to USB C adapter. On PS5 use the usb c on the front to power the adapter. On Xbox X and S use the usb on the back near the HDMI to power the adapter. On the Xreal switch it to DP audio, google how to change audio on Xreal glasses.

    4th you plug in the HDMI from your video source ( PS4, PS5, Xbox, Steam Deck with usb c hud with HDMI out, Laptop, PC )

    5th Give the display a second to get the signal. After a bit you will have video showing up and audio coming out of your display ( xreal air, monitor, etc ). In both the Xbox and in the PS4, PS5 you need to change the audio output to headset.

    Hopes this helps you all out!

    P.S. I have not tested this yet on my switch. Once I do I'll update if it works, it should be the same as the PS5 and Xbox.

    I wanted this to work so much. It does not send video to the monitor. It powers the monitor, so I know it's doing something. This was my last chance. Might just have to buy a new monitorthat has its own power source. Sucks they're website doesn't give any good advice. All it says is to use the switch plug and that doesn't even work. No not buy off using with the switch.

    After trying a BUNCH of hdmi to usb c Adaptors, this is the only on that manages to pass alt dp video to my asus portable monitor and power it at the same time.

    Granted, there are a few that I didn't get, but here are the ones that DON'T work.
    Any splitter that only does audio and power, regular docks that output hdmi + hdmi to usb c. Rokid air hub, thunderbolt dock, and pd usb c hubs that only does data.

    This one does have a few issues, but I'm overlooking them for the 5 star due to the price.
    Cons:
    Power delivery isn't great, aka it will re-negotiate.
    Not able to fully power the portable monitor.
    Gets fairly hot, but it's metallic chassis is okay for now.

    Overall, very happy. Now lets see how long it'll last

    The device works great. Just as advertised.
    There was only one minor issue. I couldn't get any sound at first. But that's more on Xreal's side.
    Anyone with Xreal Air 2 looking to buy this. To get sound you need to put the glasses on a different mode. Just long press the volume up button until you hear two beeps. That will get them on the audio pass through mode. It's a bit of a nuisance having to do this every time you want to use it, but is way better than having to charge the xreal adapter.

    This could’ve worked a lot better and maybe it does I’m just doing something wrong. I brought it to use with my portable monitor but for some reason it doesn’t supply enough power to the monitor for it to stay one. I also tried it with one of my friends AR glasses and it worked perfectly. It’s really simple and easy to use, and it’s definitely worth it over other more expensive cables with short lengths cause you can control your own length. But in truth I just wish it had a bit more power to it you know

    May need to be plugged into a basic USB charger rather than the console itself

    For xReal Air Hold BRIGHTNESS UP until you hear 2 beeps to activate HDMI audio. Then hold BRIGHTNESS DOWN until 1 beep to convert the brightness buttons to volume buttons.

    xReal glasses must be updated to the newest firmware for volume and 120hz.

    120hz is less stable but works with some fiddling and direct USB power, make sure your console is set to HDMI rather than auto discovery mode.

    Also compatible with the mClassic HDMI anti-aliasing upscaler with some fiddling.

    PRO: ITS SMALL! About a inch long by 3/4 of a inch wide!

    Neutral: Capricious meaning it works BUt needs to be plug in the right order and YES you need a wall adapter to the side usb-c, this thing require power to work (a powerful powerbank works I tried). For it work:

    No1- Plug the power on the side and the wall.
    No2 – Plug your AR Glasses in front
    No3 – Plug the HDMI source (for me it was a google tv dongle) – this also need its own power (wall).

    CON: If you don't fiddle around you think it does not work when in fact it work just fine. Some reported having sound issues but for my RayNeo Air 2s everything it dandy. Picture if great, sound is perfect etc.

    Awesome alternative to the 'dock' Ar glasses company are selling for 3 times the price.
