  • Sterling K. Brown turned down ‘bad guy’ role on ‘The Boys,’ wants to return to Marvel

Sterling K. Brown could have broken bad on The Boys, but he says he turned down a season-long villain arc on the popular comic book series.

In a recent interview with Variety, the This Is Us alum and Paradise star revealed that he was heartbroken about saying no to showrunner Eric Kripke‘s offer (the two had previously worked together on Supernatural).

“I think it was a bad guy [role], because it was very tempting,” Brown said. “But a full-season arc, they are in Toronto ā€” it’s tough. Listen, these are champagne problems Iā€™m talking about here! But because I’m blessed enough to already have certain things in place, I get a chance to be a bit more choosy [about what projects I do].”

Brown did not reveal any more details on which role he was offered (and the list of potential villains on the Amazon series is quite long). A representative for The Boys told Entertainment Weekly they had “nothing to confirm” regarding Brown’s comments.

Brown got a small taste of comic book adaptations when he appeared in 2018’s Black Panther as N’Jobu, King T’Chaka’s (John Kani) exiled younger brother and T’Challa’s (Chadwick Boseman) uncle. And he’s dying to make his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“I feel like Marvel should be like Law & Order ā€” after a certain number of years, you gotta reset, you get to come back,” Brown said. “I would love to come back to the Marvel universe, absolutely. Please have me back. Please, please. Thank you.”

This is hardly the first time Brown has made a public plea to play a comic book role. Back in 2017, before he joined the MCU, he tweeted that he wanted to play soldier-turned-superhero John Stewart, a.k.a. the Green Lantern.

“Dear powers that be, if you are looking for someone to play John Stewart, I humbly submit my name,” Brown wrote at the time. He signed off with the valediction “Namaste” and the hashtag “#GreenLanternCorps.”

Last fall, HBO announced that it cast Aaron Pierre in the role of John Stewart for an upcoming DC superhero series.

Sterling K. Brown, beloved actor known for his roles in hit TV shows like “This Is Us” and “The People v. O.J. Simpson,” recently revealed that he turned down a ‘bad guy’ role on the popular Amazon Prime series “The Boys.” In a recent interview, Brown explained that he was offered a role as a villain on the superhero show but ultimately decided to pass on the opportunity.

However, Brown did express interest in returning to the world of superheroes, specifically in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He mentioned that he would love to play a role in a Marvel movie or TV show, as he is a fan of the franchise and has always been drawn to the world of superheroes.

Fans of Brown and the MCU are excited at the prospect of seeing the talented actor join the ranks of Marvel superheroes or villains. With his impressive acting chops and charismatic presence, Brown would undoubtedly make a memorable addition to the superhero universe.

Stay tuned for any updates on Sterling K. Brown’s potential involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

  • Guy Fieri Opens New Times Square Restaurant, Chicken Guy!

The Mayor of Flavortown is expanding his reign to New York City.

Guy Fieri, the Emmy Award-winning TV host and chef, just opened his poultry-focused concept Chicken Guy! in Times Square at 136 W. 42nd St. Because where else would Fieriā€™s food belong than the brightest, loudest, most chaotic space in Manhattan?

ā€œIā€™m excited to be bringing Chicken Guy! to Times Squareā€¦bright lights, big city, and killer chicken,ā€ Fieri shared. ā€œAs they say, New York is the city that never sleeps, so donā€™t sleep on our real deal chicken tenders, sandwiches and sauces.ā€

Chicken Guy! already has franchise locations in Florida, Texas, Maryland, Nevada, Pennyslvania, New Jersey and beyond. The most recent expansion opened in Californiaā€™s Napa Valley, in American Canyon, a few weeks ago, on December 12, 2024.

The menu at Chicken Guy! (yes, the exclamation point is part of the name) is chicken-forward, focused on crispy fried or grilled chicken tenders served in a variety of handhelds and bowls. Think: oversize chicken tender sandwiches (like a pepperoni chicken parm or a buffalo mac and cheese sandwich), overflowing salads, and plenty of sides like fries with Guyā€™s special fry seasoning, Mac Daddy Mac ā€˜n Cheese, Fried Pickle Chips, and American Slaw. New and exclusive to the New York Chicken Guy! menu, are a category called BOSS BITES, which includes fried chicken dumplings and the city-inspired chopped cheese and chicken egg rolls served with chipotle ranch.

On the sweet side are hand-spun Flavortown Shakes, in flavors like triple double mint, apple cinnamon cereal, Oreo, vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, plus seasonal limited-time shakes.

Inside Chicken Guy!, guests can make themselves at home among the exposed brick and graffiti at booths, high-top communal tables, and casual counters,

And because Times Square needed more screens, a large digital display highlights video clips Fieriā€™s culinary travels and most epic food adventures.

“Weā€™re thrilled to bring Chicken Guy! to the vibrant heart of NYC where it truly belongs,” said Robert Earl, Fieriā€™s business partner. “This location is not just about fantastic food; itā€™s about creating an experience that embodies the excitement of New York while enjoying Guyā€™s signature chicken and sauces. We canā€™t wait to welcome everyone.ā€

Naturally, the restaurant comes with its own mascot, the Sauce Slinger. This vibrant character roams the restaurant with a holster belt loaded with bottles of Chicken Guy!ā€™s signature sauces to help guests get extra saucy. Neat.

Chicken Guy! Isnā€™t without local competition in the vicinity – Michelin-star chef Christopher Bleidornā€™s Bird Box, a fried-chicken restaurant, is nearby on 46th St. Stickyā€™s, one of the original chicken tender destinations in New York is a few blocks south. And of course, Raising Caneā€™s, the fried chicken chain made extra famous by social media and beloved by the British vloggers, has a 44th Street location and a Penn Station outpost.

    Chicken Guy! is open Mondays from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. – 12 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. – 1 a.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is bringing his signature flavor to the heart of New York City with the grand opening of his latest restaurant, Chicken Guy!, in Times Square.

Known for his bold and flavorful dishes, Fieri’s new restaurant will feature a menu centered around all things chicken. From crispy fried chicken sandwiches to juicy grilled chicken skewers, Chicken Guy! promises to satisfy even the most discerning chicken lovers.

In addition to the mouthwatering chicken options, guests can also indulge in a variety of delicious sides and sauces to complement their meal. And of course, no Guy Fieri restaurant would be complete without his famous donkey sauce and signature blend of seasonings.

Located in the bustling Times Square area, Chicken Guy! is sure to become a popular destination for both locals and tourists looking for a tasty and satisfying meal in the heart of the city that never sleeps.

So if you’re in the mood for some finger-lickin’ good chicken dishes with a side of Guy Fieri flair, be sure to check out Chicken Guy! in Times Square. Guy Fieri himself may even make an appearance to greet guests and ensure they have an unforgettable dining experience.

  • Guy Fieriā€™s first restaurant in Texas opens next week in Dallas

Although Food Network star Guy Fieri has visited dozens of restaurants in North Texas, the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives frontman has never operated a restaurant in Dallas proper.

That changes Feb. 6, 2025, when Chicken Guy! opens on Walnut Hill Lane at Central Expressway in Dallas, near Trader Joeā€™s.

The fast-casual restaurantā€™s menu is centered around chicken tenders served with a variety of sauces. Some of those condiments appear to be the ones sold in grocery stores, like Fieriā€™s creamy, garlicky Donkey Sauce. Other sauces include garlic-parmesan, avocado crema, bourbon brown sugar and Nashville hot honey.

Chicken tenders are the thing to get at Chicken Guy!, opening in Dallas on Feb. 6, 2025....
Chicken tenders are the thing to get at Chicken Guy!, opening in Dallas on Feb. 6, 2025. It’ll be the first one in Texas.(Chicken Guy!)

Fieriā€™s chicken tenders are sold as-is, on a sandwich or in a salad. Fries, coleslaw, mac and cheese or fried pickle chips can come on the side. And donā€™t forget more sauce!

Fieri has been a frequent flyer in Dallas-Fort Worth, as Diners, Drive-ins and Dives has given a boost to many small businesses. Even years after restaurateurs got a visit from the red-convertible-driving chef, many say he changed their lives by putting lesser known restaurants on a national stage.

Fieri has his Taco Joint in Arlington, next-door to the Texas Rangersā€™ stadium. And his Flavortown Kitchen, a delivery-only entity, opened during the COVID-19 pandemic. But Chicken Guy! in North Dallas is technically Fieriā€™s first Dallas restaurant.

    Restaurant News

Get the scoop on the latest openings, closings, and where and what to eat and drink.

On opening day, Feb. 6, 2025, customers who come dressed like Fieri can win extra prizes. Sounds like itā€™s time to fish out that old visor with the spiky hair sewn in.

This new Fieri restaurant comes from a set of Texas franchisees, Kris and Ram Daswani. They plan to open other Chicken Guy! locations in Dallas-Fort Worth, but weā€™re not sure where yet.

The restaurants have so far opened in touristy areas, like Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles and at Caesars Palace Casino in Las Vegas.

Chicken Guy! in Dallas is the 15th in the roost and the first in Texas.

Chicken Guy! is at 7859 Walnut Hill Lane (at Preston Hollow Village), Dallas. It opens Feb. 6, 2025.

  • Hollywood’s ‘funny fat guy’ Josh Gad fears Ozempic will ruin his career after 40lbs weight loss

Josh Gad reveled anxieties over his career after recently losing 40 pounds with the help of a weight loss medication.Ā Ā

Hollywood’s ‘funny fat guy’, 43, appeared onĀ Dax Shepard’sĀ Armchair Expert podcast on Monday, and shared he’s been taking a ‘miracle drug’ for weight loss.Ā

The Frozen star ā€” who shares daughters Ava, 14, and Isabella, 10, with wife Ida Darvish ā€” said the GLP-1 medication willĀ help him ‘be there for my kids’, but admitted his fears over how it will affect his comedic persona.Ā

‘I’ve always been the funny fat guy. Can I be the funny skinny guy? Can I be the hot leading man?’ the actor ā€” who recently recalled an unusual encounter with a bathrobe-clad Jeff Goldblum ā€” questioned.

‘I don’t know that people would accept me as those things,’ he went on, adding that his future roles are not as much of a concern as being present for his children.

‘I’m not as worried about that because my primary goal is, I want to be there for my kids. Everything else is bulls**t.’

Opening up about his weight loss journey, Gad shared: ‘I’m on a GLP-1ā€¦ this is the first time I’ve opened up about this. It has suppressed, in a great way, that noise… when I wake up, I feel hunger pains ā€” and so much of that is psychological, right? ā€” and what this does is it takes away that signal.’Ā

GLP-1 medications, such as Ozempic and Mounjaro, are a class of drugs called glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists. They influence brain receptors that regulate appetite and satiety.Ā

‘It is a miracle drug,’ Gad,Ā who provides the voice of Olaf in the Frozen films, said of the medication.

He said that he had lost 40 pounds using a different drug, but then had to change his medication after the former one caused him to develop diverticulitis.

Diverticulitis is a condition where small pouches (called diverticula) that form in the wall of the colon become inflamed or infected, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine.

‘I was really bummed out because it was working incredibly for me and I had to switch,’ the actor, who recently released his memoir In Gad We Trust, shared.

‘So, like, I’m you know figuring out this new one, and it is life-changing, but it also doesn’t negate the fact that it can’t be in the place of having a healthy relationship with food.’

He added, ‘It can’t be in the place of having a healthy relationship with exercise.’Ā

Gad said his wife Ida is ‘not thrilled’ about him taking the medication. Shepard asked if ‘she’s worried you’re not going to confront the core thing that’s driving’ weight gain, to which Gad said yes; the family are seen in August 2019

When Shepard questioned whether the topic was uncomfortable, Gad assured him he was ‘really happy’ to talk about the medication. ‘I’m having my own journey with it. Sometimes I feel like I’m cheating myself by doing this.’Ā

Surprisingly, Gad said his wife Ida is ‘not thrilled’ about him taking the medication.

Shepard asked if ‘she’s worried you’re not going to confront the core thing that’s driving’ weight gain, to which Gad said yes.

It’s not the first time the actor has talked about losing weight.

In 2013, Gad admitted to losing around 30 pounds in weight after following a strict diet regime.

He told PeopleĀ that he lost the weight for various movie roles alongside a nutrionist saying he has been cutting down ‘from about 18 meals a day to about five.’

At the time Josh also revealed his diet plan, saying he ate seven egg whites with avocado and a grapefruit for breakfast, and snacked on almond nuts and a protein shake during the day.

For lunch the actor tucked into 7 oz. of turkey on a salad and non-fat dressing, while for dinner he ate salmon and vegetables followed by another protein shake.

Gad has appeared in hit films such as Beauty and the Beast, 21, Murder on the Orient Express, and Jobs; seen with Luke Evans (L) in a still fromĀ Beauty and the Beast

Gad has appeared in hit films such as Beauty and the Beast, 21, Murder on the Orient Express, and Jobs; seen with Luke Evans (L) in a still fromĀ Beauty and the Beast

Gad met his wife Ida in 2004, when they were cast to play a married couple in the David Ives play All in the Timing.

The pair went on to marry in 2008.

Gad has appeared in hit films such as Beauty and the Beast, 21, Murder on the Orient Express, and Jobs.

He has also enjoyed success by voicing characters in Frozen, A Dog’s Purpose, and animated musical series, Central Park.

Josh Gad, best known for his roles as the lovable and hilarious ‘funny fat guy’ in Hollywood, is reportedly concerned that his recent 40lbs weight loss could negatively impact his career. The actor, who has shed the pounds with the help of the diabetes drug Ozempic, is worried that his new look may not be as marketable in the industry that has often typecast him based on his appearance.

Gad, who starred in popular films such as “Frozen” and “Beauty and the Beast,” has always embraced his larger size and used it to his advantage in many comedic roles. However, with his recent transformation, the actor is now facing a new set of challenges as he navigates the entertainment industry.

Despite the potential risks to his career, Gad remains committed to his health and well-being, prioritizing his weight loss journey for his own personal reasons. It’s a difficult decision for the actor, who must now navigate the delicate balance between his health and his career in an industry that often values appearance over talent.

Only time will tell how Gad’s weight loss will impact his career, but one thing is for certain ā€“ he is not afraid to take risks and make changes for the betterment of his health and happiness.

  • Stephen Colbert Calls the DoJ ‘The Department of Just This Guy’

Stephen Colbert started his Tuesday monologue assuring his audience that he didnā€™t want to ā€œcause panic,ā€ but he said this while discussing a lot of panic-inducing stuff, beginning with the latest illegal and unconstitutional actions Donald Trump has taken since taking office: his mass-firings of federal workers.

ā€œI want to welcome everybody here, out there watching and any recently fired federal employees who were looking to travel for a while,ā€ Colbert joked. ā€œHey, remember when Donald Trump said he was going to be a dictator only on day one? Well, evidently, his first act as dictator was declaring that day one never ends.ā€

ā€œNow I donā€™t want to cause panic. Frankly, I donā€™t have the energy, but I will say that itā€™s not the greatest news that Trump and the Justice Department have fired the officials who investigated Trump. Keep in mind, the January 6 investigation was the largest single investigation in the history of the federal government. And if you fire all those people, thereā€™s going to be nobody left. Weā€™ll have to change the name to the Department of just this guy,ā€ Colbert continued.

ā€œThis firing is probably, and I hope youā€™re sitting down, illegal, because it violates civil service protections, and itā€™s clearly retribution,ā€ he explained. ā€œUnless you ask some Republicans like Congressman Dan Crenshaw.ā€

At this, Colbert played a clip of the Texas congressman equivocating when asked about it, saying, ā€œI think it is open to interpretationā€ whether the actions Trump has taken can be considered retribution.

ā€œSure. Who knows if itā€™s revenge. Itā€™s just like that movie V for Vambiguous,ā€ Colbert cracked.

ā€œTrumpā€™s DOJ isnā€™t just firing lawyers who worked on the January 6 cases,ā€ the ā€œLate Showā€ host continued. ā€œTheyā€™re also launching investigations into specific prosecutors, which theyā€™re calling a ā€˜special project.ā€™ Going after honest civil servants just doing their job is not a special project. It is a disgrace.ā€

ā€œA special project is when, to protect you from the bullies on the playground, instead of going to recess, you get to help Miss Brogdon clean the erasers. That is a very special project for a very special boy,ā€ Colbert joked.

ā€œItā€™s no surprise many DOJ employees are freaking out. In fact, Biden era prosecutors are starting to hire their own lawyers for their defense, and soon, those lawyers will need their own lawyers, and so on and so on. You can see it all in the new Dick Wolf show ā€˜Law and Law and Law and Law and Law and Law and Law and Order,ā€™ just getting more law,ā€ Colbert added.

Thereā€™s a lot more to the monologue, and you can watch the whole thing, below:

Stephen Colbert, host of “The Late Show,” recently took aim at the Department of Justice (DoJ) in a hilarious monologue, dubbing it “The Department of Just This Guy.”

During his segment, Colbert poked fun at the DoJ’s handling of various high-profile cases, suggesting that the department only seems to focus on prosecuting individuals rather than holding powerful institutions accountable.

Colbert’s witty commentary shed light on the perception that the DoJ may not always prioritize justice for all, but rather for select individuals or groups.

As always, Colbert’s sharp humor and political commentary continue to entertain and provoke thought among his viewers. Stay tuned for more insightful and humorous takes on current events from the one and only Stephen Colbert.

  • UFC fighter says Adolf Hitler was a ‘good guy’ in shameful rant

    UFC 310: Mitchell v Gracie

UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell has been slammed for saying Adolf Hitler was a ā€˜good guyā€™ in a shameful rant.

Mitchell, who fights in the featherweight division of the UFC, made the shocking comments on the first episode of his new podcast, which has been uploaded to YouTube.

The 30-year-old said: ā€˜I honestly think Hitler was a good guy, based upon my own research, not my public education and indoctrination.

ā€˜He fought for his country, he wanted to purify it by kicking the greedy Jews out who were destroying his country and turning them all into gays.ā€™

Mitchell went on to make more antisemitic, homophobic and transphobic comments.

The MMA community soon picked up on his shameful outburst, with many calling for him to be removed from the sport.

Popular MMA sports broadcaster Ariel Helwani posted on X: ā€˜Each and every day MMA finds a way to reach a new low.

    UFC 310: Mitchell v Gracie
Mitchell has fought 19 times in the UFC (Picture: Getty)

ā€˜A new way of embarrassing itself and those who are fans of it. But ya know, itā€™s Free Speech, brother.

ā€˜Nothing will be done, and I donā€™t even care if anything is done. Say what you want.

ā€˜It just continues to baffle me at how unbelievably stupid ā€“ not to mention bigoted ā€“ some of the people in the sport or associated with the sport can be.ā€™

MMA journalist Jason Hagholm added: ā€˜Itā€™s getting harder and harder to tell people you cover MMA.

ā€˜Bryce Mitchell with a trend that is continuing of people making Hitlers actions seem OK.

ā€˜This is what happens when you start taking history books away from schools. The thing is this wonā€™t have any impact on Mitchell as the UFC wonā€™t punish himā€™

Under Hitlerā€™s leadership, the Nazi regime was responsible for the genocide of an estimated six million Jews and millions of other victims he and his regime deemed socially undesirable.

Hitler was also responsible for the deliberate killing of an estimated 19.3 million civilians and prisoners of war during World War Two, the deadliest conflict in history.

Mitchell, who was born in Arkansas, was selected for the reality television seriesĀ The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated after racking up an undefeated professional MMA record of 9-0.

Soon after featuring in the tournament he was signed by UFC, where he is currently ranked 13th in the featherweight rankings.

Last month, Mitchell knocked out Kron Gracie at UFC 310 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, taking his record to 19 wins and two defeats.

Mitchell said last year he intended to home-school his young son because he ā€˜doesnā€™t want him to be gayā€™.

ā€˜Weā€™re going to have to home-school all our kids or theyā€™re all going to end up turning gay,ā€™ he said in an Instagram video while holding his son.

ā€˜Thatā€™s the reason Iā€™m going to home-school Tucker, because I donā€™t want him to be a communist. I donā€™t want him to worship Satan. I donā€™t want him to be gay.ā€™

Mitchell previously urged his nearly 500,000 followers not to vaccinate their children.

  • Bryce Mitchell, UFCā€™s village idiot, insists pre-meth Hitler ā€˜was a good guyā€™ and solid fishing buddy

Bryce Mitchell is working hard for that Hoelzer Reich sponsorship.

The controversial UFC featherweight, who also believes the earth is flat, has been doing independent research on the life and times of Adolf Hitler. I guess ā€œThug Nastyā€ needed something to occupy his mind in between his deer-jitsu sessions.

Unlike Satan, Mitchell is only interested in the ā€œtruth.ā€

ā€œI honestly think that Hitler was a good guy, based upon my own research, not my public education and indoctrination,ā€ Mitchell said on YouTube. ā€œI really do think that before Hitler got on meth, he was a guy to go fishing with. When he got on meth and he turned on Russia, I believe thatā€™s when he kinda went full nutty. Was Hitler perfect? No, but he was fighting for his people. He wanted a pure nation.ā€

Maybe we can just ask him ourselves, once Tim Kennedy finds him.

Mitchell, 30, has not competed since knocking out fellow pea brain Kron Gracie as part of the UFC 310 pay-per-view (PPV) event last December in Las Vegas. As of this writing, ā€œThug Nastyā€ is currently unbooked ā€” and still mourning the loss of his fruit.

Bryce Mitchell, UFCā€™s village idiot, insists pre-meth Hitler ā€˜was a good guyā€™ and solid fishing buddy

UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell has once again found himself in hot water after making controversial comments about Adolf Hitler. In a recent interview, Mitchell claimed that Hitler, before becoming addicted to methamphetamines, was actually a “good guy” and a solid fishing buddy.

These outrageous remarks have sparked widespread backlash from fans and fellow fighters, with many calling for Mitchell to be reprimanded by the UFC. Mitchell has since issued a half-hearted apology, stating that he misspoke and did not mean to glorify Hitler in any way.

Despite his attempts to backtrack, Mitchell’s comments have not been forgotten, and many are questioning whether he is fit to continue representing the UFC. It remains to be seen how the organization will respond to this latest controversy, but one thing is for sure ā€“ Bryce Mitchell has once again proven himself to be the village idiot of the UFC.

  • ‘I’ve Always Been the Funny Fat Guy. Can I Be the Funny Skinny Guy?’

Josh Gad shared that heā€™s taking a GLP-1 medication for weight loss, praising it as a ā€œmiracle drugā€ that will help him ā€œbe there for my kids.ā€

ā€œI’m on a GLP-1ā€¦this is the first time I’ve opened up about this,ā€ the Frozen star, 43, told Dax Shepard and Monica Padman on the Jan. 27 episode of Armchair Expert.

ā€œIt has suppressed, in a great way, that noise … when I wake up, I feel hunger pains ā€” and so much of that is psychological, right? ā€” and what this does is it takes away that signal,ā€ Gad said of the medication. GLP-1 is short for glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, which work in the brain to impact satiety. Popular brands are Ozempic and Mounjaro.

ā€œIt is a miracle drug,ā€ he said, sharing that heā€™d lost 40 lbs. on a different drug, but had to switch after his former medication caused him to develop diverticulitis, an inflammation of irregular building pouches in the colon, according to the Mayo Clinic.

ā€œI was really bummed out because it was working incredibly for me and I had to switch,ā€ said Gad, who just released his memoir In Gad We Trust. ā€œSo, like, I’m you know figuring out this new one, and it is life-changing, but it also doesn’t negate the fact that it can’t be in the place of having a healthy relationship with food.ā€

Gad added, ā€œIt can’t be in the place of having a healthy relationship with exercise.ā€

When Shepard asked if the conversation topic was putting Gad on the spot, the Broadway alum explained that he was ā€œreally happyā€ to share that he was taking the medicine, saying, ā€œI’m having my own journey with it. Sometimes I feelĀ like I’m cheating myself by doing this.ā€

Gad explained he did have one concern with weight loss, saying, ā€œI’ve always been the funny fat guy. Can I be the funny skinny guy? Can I be the hot leading man?ā€

ā€œI don’t know that people would accept me as those things,ā€ he said, adding that future roles are less of a concern ā€œas I go on this journey of weight loss.ā€

ā€œI’m not as worried about that because my primary goal is, I want to be there for my kids,ā€ Gad said. ā€œEverything else is bullsā€”t.ā€

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been known as the funny fat guy. I’ve used humor as a shield to deflect any negative comments about my weight, and it’s become a big part of my identity. But as I embark on my journey to lose weight and get healthier, I can’t help but wonder ā€“ can I still be the funny skinny guy?

It’s a strange feeling to think about shedding the protective layer of fat that has defined me for so long. Will people still find me funny when I’m no longer the lovable chubby guy cracking jokes? Will I be able to maintain my sense of humor without relying on my weight for laughs?

But as I’ve started to see progress on my weight loss journey, I’m beginning to realize that humor is not defined by size. Being funny is a part of who I am, regardless of what the scale says. And maybe, just maybe, I can be the funny skinny guy too.

So here’s to embracing change and redefining myself. I may have always been the funny fat guy, but I have the power to become whatever I want to be. And who knows, maybe being the funny skinny guy will come with its own set of jokes and laughs. Let’s find out together.
