    He joined the M*A*S*H in its fourth season, replacing Wayne Rogers, and became a fan favorite for his warm, witty portrayal of the compassionate army doctor.

    5000 Menschen jubelten und klatschten in der Halle Münsterland, als ob es einen Popstar zu begrüßen hieße. Auf der Bühne stand aber kein Sänger oder Musiker, sondern Wirtschafts- und Klimaschutzminister Robert Habeck. Für viele der Anwesenden war der Übergang zwischen Popstar und Spitzenpolitiker offenbar fließend, wie in Münster kaum anders zu erwarten, wurde der grüne Spitzenpolitiker mit offenen Armen empfangen.

    Der erste Teil seiner Rede war geprägt von den Debatten und dem, wie Habeck sagt, Bruch der politischen Kultur in Deutschland. Gemeint war die gemeinsame Abstimmung von CDU, FDP und AfD zur Verschärfung der Asylpolitik. „Das Politische ist in den letzten Tagen sehr persönlich geworden. Der Ruf der Politik hat gelitten“, ist sich der 55-Jährige sicher. Dieser Riss, der sich nach Meinung des grünen Kanzlerkandidaten quer durch das Parlament ziehe, sei bewusst herbeigeführt worden.

    Oft hat Habeck eine Rückkehr zum politischen Dialog gefordert, die Zankereien innerhalb der Regierung hätten das Vertrauen der Bürgerinnen und Bürger in die Politik beeinträchtigt. „Wir müssen über die Probleme nicht mit Schuldzuweisungen sprechen, sondern konstruktiv an Lösungen arbeiten“. Eindringlich warnte Habeck davor, „Das Spiel der AfD mitzuspielen, dieses Land auseinanderzureißen“. Das Versprechen, dass es unter Demokraten mehr Gemeinsamkeiten gibt, als Dinge, die einen trennen, war offenbar genau das, was die Zuhörerinnen und Zuhörer hören wollten, zumindest ging das Ende des Satzes im tosenden Applaus unter.

    Zwischenzeitige Mikrofonprobleme nervten den prominenten Gast zwar sichtlich, boten aber die Gelegenheit, einen Witz über die Energieversorgung zu machen. Zwischenapplaus für die Bühnentechniker gab es auf Habecks Anregung dann aber doch noch. Überhaupt war das Publikum sehr applausfreudig und dem prominenten Gast überaus zugewandt. In der Kritik standen, wie kaum anders zu erwarten, FDP und CDU. Die FDP sei in der aktuellen Zusammensetzung „nicht regierungsfähig“, der CDU gab er den Rat, „Unterstützen Sie nicht, was die stolze Tradition der Konservativen kaputt macht!“

    Zentrale Bedeutung haben für Habeck der europäische Zusammenhalt und der Wirtschaftsstandort Deutschland. Innovationen müssten, so Habeck, wieder aus Deutschland kommen. Eine Chance sieht der Wirtschafts- und Klimaschutzminister hier im Ausstieg der USA aus dem Weltklimaabkommen unter Trump. „Wenn sich die USA aus dem Klimaschutz zurückziehen, müssen wir in Deutschland eben die entsprechenden Technologien entwickeln“. Eindringlich warnt Habeck davor, dass Deutschland die Klimaziele verschiebt, dies könnte Auswirkungen auf Europa und am Ende auf die gesamte Welt haben.

    Klar positioniert sich Habeck zum Thema Migration. „Wir sind ein Land, das darauf angewiesen ist, dass Menschen zu uns kommen. Wenn allerdings jemand gegen unsere Werte und Gesetze verstößt, dann verlieren diese Menschen auch ihren Schutzstatus!“ Die Antwort auf diese und andere Fragen, sei aber nie der Populismus, dem Habeck eine klare Absage erteilte. Die Antwort auf das Schwarz der Populisten sei kein dunkles Grau, sondern die gesamte Farbpalette einer bunten Gesellschaft. Sein Schlusssatz „Für Demokratie, für den Rechtsstaat, für den Klimaschutz und für Europa“ wurde vom begeisterten Publikum mit stehendem Applaus quittiert.

    In den letzten Jahren hat der Ruf der Politik stark gelitten. Immer wieder werden Skandale und Korruptionsfälle aufgedeckt, die das Vertrauen der Bürgerinnen und Bürger in ihre politischen Vertreter erschüttern. Es scheint, als ob persönliche Interessen und Machtstreben oft über das Gemeinwohl gestellt werden.

    Die Politik wird zunehmend als undurchsichtig und undemokratisch wahrgenommen. Viele Menschen fühlen sich von den Entscheidungsträgern nicht mehr vertreten und haben das Gefühl, dass ihre Stimme nicht gehört wird.

    Es ist an der Zeit, dass die Politik wieder Verantwortung übernimmt und sich auf die Anliegen der Bürgerinnen und Bürger konzentriert. Transparenz, Integrität und Bürgernähe sollten im Mittelpunkt stehen, um das Vertrauen in die politischen Institutionen wiederherzustellen.

    Es liegt an uns allen, uns aktiv für eine gerechtere und ehrlichere Politik einzusetzen und dafür zu sorgen, dass der Ruf der Politik wiederhergestellt wird. Denn nur wenn wir als Gesellschaft zusammenstehen und uns gemeinsam für eine bessere Zukunft einsetzen, können wir positive Veränderungen bewirken.
