FRANKLIN TWP. — A national TV news magazine will highlight the Dee Warner murder case this Saturday.
“The ‘No Body’ Case of Dee Warner” is scheduled to air at 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, on CBS television stations and be available for streaming on Paramount+, a news release from CBS said. Correspondent Erin Moriarty will report on the case that began in April 2021 when Dee Warner, a mother and businesswoman from the Tipton area in Franklin Township, went missing.
Before Dee’s body was found last August, she was declared deceased by Lenawee County Probate Judge Catherine A. Sala, and in November 2023 Warner’s husband, Dale Warner, was arrested on charges of open murder and tampering with evidence in Dee’s disappearance.
Police found Warner’s remains hidden in a tank that had been used to hold anhydrous ammonia, a common farm fertilizer. The tank was on property the Warners owned about a mile from their home.
Dale has denied harming his wife to police. In interviews with police shown during the case’s preliminary examination in Lenawee County District Court, he maintained he was out farming the morning Dee disappeared, and security footage showed him out using a sprayer. He also consented to have his properties searched and spoke willingly to police.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Metro Nashville Police Department officials said Friday they will add an additional work shift for officers so they could have more visibility during the highest-need hours in the city.
Chief John Drake has called it the D shift, which consists of operating from noon until 10:30 p.m. each day. Drake said this new shift will start Feb. 1. It will have 41 officers, five sergeants and one lieutenant.
“D-shift officers will have the flexibility to provide additional resources to any of our eight precincts across the county, particularly those that have a higher volume of pending calls,” Drake said.
Besides supporting precincts with a high call volume, Drake said D shift officers will also assist in securing large crime scenes, respond to demonstrations/protests and support other precision policing efforts.
Considering regular days off, vacations, sick leave, in-service training, etc., the D-shift will operate with a minimum staffing of 18 officers plus supervisors.
Other MNPD shifts
- Day Detail (A-shift): 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Evening Detail (B-shift): 3 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
- Overnight Detail (C-shift): 9 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Customers STILL ‘left without money’ as IT issue continues for 24 hours
Barclays customers are continuing to face major disruption as a technical glitch enters its second day, leaving many unable to access their accounts or view accurate balances.
The IT issues, which began on Friday morning (January 31), have left hundreds of customers struggling to make payments, meet tax deadlines and see their correct account information.
Following a flood of complaints, the bank has acknowledged that some customers may see outdated balances, with payments made or received not showing up in their accounts.
The widespread outage coincided with January payday for many British workers and the Self-Assessment tax return deadline causing additional stress for those affected.
Barclays has issued an apology to customers and promised that “no customer is left out of pocket” due to the technical problems. Customers can still use their cards and withdraw cash while the bank works to resolve the remaining issues.

Frustrated customers have taken to social media to share their experiences of the banking disruption. One parent wrote on X that they were “left without money” and unable to receive their food delivery, leaving their “four kids with no food”.
A distressed mother reported her “four-month-old is out of milk powder and screaming for a feed”, adding she had “been in tears for hours” due to the bank app outage.
Other customers described embarrassing situations in shops, with one saying: “I’ve just had to put all my shopping back in Tesco never been so embarrassed in my life.. as can’t access my own money.”
“How can I eat and keep warm if I cant get to my funds?” another customer posted. The outage has particularly impacted families trying to purchase essential items and groceries over the weekend.

The bank has issued multiple apologies across social media platforms as customers continue to report problems.
Responding to one customer on X, the bank acknowledged: “We’re having some problems with our systems today and you may have trouble using some features in our app, online banking as well as payments in and out of your accounts.”
On Saturday morning, the bank’s customer support account posted: “I can only apologise for the ongoing issue that you are facing. I can assure you that we’re working on getting this fixed just as soon as we can.”
A Barclays spokesman said: “We’re incredibly sorry for the ongoing technical issues that are impacting our customers accounts.”
The bank has advised customers not to attempt making payments again while they work to resolve the issues.
According to outage tracking website Down Detector, more than 1,600 reports of service disruption have been logged since Friday.
