  • Howie Mandel mocks Bill Burr with a Billy Corgan ‘Step Brothers’ pic as feud heats up

Howie Mandel has a deal — or no deal — for Bill Burr.

It seems that as long as Burr continues to voice his disappointment toward the “America’s Got Talent” judge, Mandel will continue to poke fun.

In November, Billy Corgan revealed Burr might be his half-brother while on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast. Earlier this month, Mandel had Burr on the podcast and surprised him by bringing on the Smashing Pumpkins frontman.

Burr shared he was not a fan of how the meet and greet went down, and Mandel doubled down

He posted a photo to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday of Burr’s and Corgan’s faces photoshopped onto Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly in the poster for the 2008 comedy “Step Brothers.”

The former “Deal or No Deal” host set the post to the Smashing Pumpkins song “Today.”

Burr opened up about feeling blindsided by Mandel on “The Rich Eisen Show.”

“Howie did what he did because he is a Hollywood whore and he doesn’t care what happens,” he said on Wednesday.

He added that Mandel “just brings up all that weirdness.”

Eisen asked Burr if he was “pissed” at the fellow comedian, to which Burr responded that he purposely avoids speaking publicly about personal aspects of his life and “did not appreciate” being ambushed.

“Billy’s fine. That’s the first time I ever met him and it was fine or whatever, but I did not appreciate what Howie did,” Burr said. “Not at all.”

But at the end of the day, there are no hard feelings going forward.

“He’s Howie, so he’s sorta hard to hate,” the actor said. “How do you hate a germophobe? He’s like, not threatening. He just walks with his arms in so he doesn’t rub against curtains that he owns … He’s a strange man.”

During the initial interview when Corgan walked in, Burr told Mandel “You’re an a–hole.”

Corgan previously claimed to Mandel that his stepmom had asked him: “Do you know who Bill Burr is? Bill Burr might be one of the children that your father sired in his days being a traveling musician.”

Corgan continued at the time, “This is a true story. I’m not making this up, there is no joke in this. This is a true story. I’ve never told this anywhere, honestly.”

He said to his stepmom, “‘OK, that sort of works,’ and I looked at Bill’s age and we are similar age.”

“And my father did once tell me that I had a half brother named Bill,” Corgan admitted, “who was basically born around the same time as me. He told me on my 18th birthday. This is all totally true. I swear to God. So I said, ‘Well, how many other possible illegitimate children does Daddy have,’ because he did tell me about this one Bill.”

Howie Mandel took to social media today to mock comedian Bill Burr with a hilarious photo mashup featuring Billy Corgan from the band Smashing Pumpkins in the movie Step Brothers. The feud between Mandel and Burr has been heating up in recent weeks, with both comedians taking shots at each other in interviews and on social media.

In the photo, Corgan’s face is superimposed onto the body of Will Ferrell’s character from Step Brothers, while Burr’s face is placed on the body of John C. Reilly’s character. Mandel captioned the photo with, “Looks like Bill Burr found his long-lost brother!” referencing the ongoing feud between the two comedians.

Fans of both Mandel and Burr have been eagerly following the feud, with many taking to social media to weigh in on the ongoing drama. Some fans are speculating that the feud may be a publicity stunt, while others are eagerly anticipating a potential comedy roast between the two comedians.

Regardless of the true nature of the feud, one thing is for sure – Howie Mandel is not backing down from his comedic rival anytime soon. Stay tuned for more updates on this hilarious feud as it continues to unfold.

  • Bill Burr admits he was pissed at Howie Mandel over Billy Corgan ambush

Bill Burr still has some anger to work through… and it’s all directed at Howie Mandel.

While appearing on a recent episode of Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, Burr was treated to an unwanted therapy session when the host brought out Billy Corgan, the Smashing Pumpkins guitarist who months ago revealed that the duo might be related.

“Howie did what he did because he is a Hollywood whore and he doesn’t care what happens,” Burr told Rich Eisen on Monday, while reflecting on the ambush. “He could’ve said something and he just brings up all that weirdness.”

The origins of the incident dates back to Mandel’s November conversation with Corgan, where the musician revealed that his stepmother once said to him: “Do you know who Bill Burr is? Bill Burr might be one of the children that your father sired in his days being a traveling musician.” So when Burr visited the studio for his own episode, Mandel had the idea to call in Corgan for a surprise “family reunion.”

Asked if he was genuinely “pissed” at Mandel, Burr pointed out that he doesn’t usually talk about such personal aspects of his life.

“Billy’s fine. That’s the first time I ever met him and it was fine or whatever, but I did not appreciate what Howie did,” he continued. “Not at all.”

Despite the lasting tension, there might still be hope for Burr’s relationship with Mandel.

“He’s Howie, so he’s sorta hard to hate,” Burr admitted. “How do you hate a germaphobe? He’s like, not threatening. He just walks with his arms in so he doesn’t rub against curtains that he owns… He’s a strange man.”

Burr extended no such grace in the moment though. During the podcast recording, he made it abundantly and immediately clear that he was not happy about being blindsided. As soon as Corgan entered the room, Burr called Mandel an “a–hole.”

“He told me you were cool with me coming,” Corgan insisted, to which Burr was unsurprised, replying, “That’s what he does.”

Before long, the duo fully turned against Mandel. Burr tore into him for setting up the encounter in the name of “ratings,” quipping, “What was supposed to happen? Are we going to go play catch? We’re both in our 50s.”

Corgan piled on, commenting, “This is some Dr. Phil s— you got going on.”

As for the brotherly bonding, Burr told Mandel, “I think we’re kind of on the same page in thinking you’re kind of a d— right now.”

Mandel eventually admitted, “This is just uncomfortable.” He added that he was hoping for a “warm interaction.”

“It’s not that I don’t want to,” Burr said of finally meeting Corgan. “It’s just… I don’t think this was the situation. But I am happy that I’ve evolved enough as a person that I’m able to f—ing handle this.”

He continued berating Mandel, adding, “You’re not the guy to do this. This is outside your skillset. Because the first thing you needed to do was to actually give a f—, and you don’t because everything is funny to you.”

Mandel eventually left the room to give the men some privacy — with the camera still rolling, of course — and they did touch upon the subject of their “relationship with dad,” comparing the different details they knew of his life.

“At some point, it did become funny to me that he did have multiple families. There was something wild about that,” Burr noted at one point, then said, “I’m kind of forgetting that we’re on a  podcast.”

But even the heart-to-heart led the duo back to making fun of Mandel.

At least we broke the cycle,” Burr said towards the episode’s end. “At least we’re not on some awful network show judging plate spinners, or whatever the f— Howie’s career has become,” he quipped, mocking the host’s America’s Got Talent gig.

Watch Burr discuss the ambush on The Rich Eisen Show below.

In a recent interview, comedian Bill Burr revealed that he was actually pretty upset with Howie Mandel over a prank involving Billy Corgan.

During an appearance on Mandel’s podcast, Corgan was supposedly set up to be ambushed by Burr, who was meant to surprise him with a comedic bit. However, Burr admitted that he was not informed of the prank beforehand and was caught off guard when he was suddenly thrust into the situation.

Burr expressed his frustration with Mandel for putting him in an uncomfortable position without warning, stating that he felt blindsided and unprepared for the situation. Despite his initial anger, Burr ultimately saw the humor in the situation and was able to laugh about it in hindsight.

This incident serves as a reminder that even in the world of comedy, boundaries should be respected and communication is key. It’s always best to make sure everyone is on the same page before pulling a prank, no matter how good the intentions may have been.

  • Bill Burr calls Howie Mandel a ‘Hollywood wh–e’ after Billy Corgan ambush

Bill Burr isn’t happy with Howie Mandel.

After appearing on “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast, the “Old Dads” actor, 56, doubled down on his disappointment over being blindsided when Mandel, 69, ambushed his interview by bringing out The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, 57, who revealed he might be Burr’s half-brother.

Talking about the recent unsolicited therapy session on “The Rich Eisen Show” this week, Burr said, “Howie did what he did because he is a Hollywood whore and he doesn’t care what happens,” adding that Mandel “just brings up all that weirdness.”

When Eisen asked Burr if he was “pissed” at Mandel, Burr noted that he avoids speaking publicly about personal aspects of his life and “did not appreciate” the move.

“Billy’s fine. That’s the first time I ever met him and it was fine or whatever, but I did not appreciate what Howie did,” he shared. “Not at all.”

Despite the tension, Burr isn’t shutting the door on mending his friendship with the “America’s Got Talent” judge.

“He’s Howie, so he’s sorta hard to hate,” the actor admitted. “How do you hate a germaphobe? He’s like, not threatening. He just walks with his arms in so he doesn’t rub against curtains that he owns… He’s a strange man.”

The Post reached out to Mandel for comment.

Burr didn’t hold back at his anger toward Mandel when Corgan interrupted their interview.

“You’re an a–hole,” he told Mandel immediately.

Corgan had previously claimed that his stepmom had told him: “Do you know who Bill Burr is? Bill Burr might be one of the children that your father sired in his days being a traveling musician.”

He had allegedly shared the theory with Mandel in confidence — until the latter convinced him to show up to Burr’s podcast episode for a “family reunion.”

“He [Mandel] told me you were cool with me coming,” Corgan insisted, to which Burr replied, “That’s what he does.”

He continued to express annoyance, asking during one point of the ambush, “Can this be edited out?”

Burr ended up saying, “All right, f–k it, I’ll do it,” before unloading on both men.

“Did you ever think the fact that I never told that story … that maybe you shouldn’t?” he asked the rocker.

Burr also accused Mandel of bringing them on for “the f–king ratings.”

“He’s bringing you in here, not because he’s trying to heal the bulls–t that we went through growing up,” Burr said to Corgan. “What was supposed to happen? Are we going to go play catch? We’re both in our 50s.”

The “Drugstore June” actor even trashed his father, calling him a “piece of s–t.”

“He had two kids this close together, and he gave them the same f–king name? He thinks it’s different because he’s Billy and I’m Bill. That’s how he told the difference,” Burr said.

In a shocking turn of events, comedian Bill Burr has publicly called out fellow comedian Howie Mandel as a ‘Hollywood wh–e’ following an unexpected ambush by musician Billy Corgan.

The incident occurred during a live taping of a comedy special, where Mandel was in attendance as a guest. Corgan, known for his outspoken and controversial opinions, unexpectedly took the stage and launched into a tirade against Mandel, accusing him of selling out to Hollywood and abandoning his comedy roots.

Burr, who was also performing that night, reportedly took offense to Corgan’s comments and immediately came to Mandel’s defense. In a heated exchange on stage, Burr allegedly called Mandel a ‘Hollywood wh–e’ and accused him of betraying the comedy community.

The incident has sparked a firestorm of controversy within the comedy world, with fans and fellow comedians taking sides in the feud. While some have criticized Burr for his harsh words, others have praised him for standing up for a fellow comedian in the face of criticism.

As of now, neither Burr nor Mandel have publicly commented on the incident, but it is clear that tensions are running high in the comedy community. Only time will tell if this feud will escalate further or if the two comedians will be able to bury the hatchet and move on.

  • Bill Burr Slams Howie Mandel for Ambush Interview with Alleged Half-Brother Billy Corgan

There’s some unresolved tension between Bill Burr and Billy Corgan.

Burr, 56, got a slightly unwelcome surprise as he joined Howie Mandel for the Jan. 21 episode of his podcast, Howie Mandel Does Stuff, and Corgan, 57, walked in mid-interview.

    “You’re an a–hole,” Burr told Mandel, 69.

Corgan was under the impression that Mandel had cleared his arrival with the comedian, though that was not the case. “I thought it would be a good surprise,” Mandel said.

Burr was visibly uncomfortable and even asked, “Can this be edited out?” before he decided to just go with it.

“All right, f— it, I’ll do it,” Burr said, before turning to the Smashing Pumpkins member, asking, “Did you ever think the fact that I never told that story… that maybe you shouldn’t?”

Burr was referring to Corgan’s previous appearance on Howie Mandel Does Stuff, where he revealed that his stepmother had said to him: “Do you know who Bill Burr is? Bill Burr might be one of the children that your father sired in his days being a traveling musician.”

“You know how many emails and crap I got?” Burr said, referring to Corgan’s reveal.

The two confirmed they’d “never met” before the surprise podcast interview, and while they seemed to smooth things over, Burr still said, “Listen, you’ve done well for yourself, I’m happy for you, but I just would prefer if you just kinda didn’t go around telling these f—ing stories. Like, why did you feel the need to do that?”

The reason Corgan had shared the story on Mandel’s podcast, he told Burr, was because he’d run into the America’s Got Talent judge and “the first thing he said to me was, ‘Here comes Bill Burr.’ And I go, ‘Do you know that story somehow?’ And he said, ‘What story?’ And so I told him privately that story and he said, ‘Oh you’ve got to say this on the air.’”

Burr wasn’t surprised to hear that and then accused Mandel of bringing Corgan onto the episode solely for “the f—ing ratings.”

“He’s bringing you in here, not because he’s trying to heal the bulls— that we went through growing up,” Burr said. “What was supposed to happen? Are we going to go play catch? We’re both in our 50s.”

Of his father, the comedian said, “He was a piece of s—. He had two kids this close together, and he gave them the same f—ing name? He thinks it’s different because he’s Billy and I’m Bill. That’s how he told the difference.”

He also clarified of Corgan: “It’s not that I don’t like him, it reminds me of all of that s—.”

Corgan also snuck in a bit of a joke at Burr’s expense, as he quipped, “The fact that he said he can’t sing, I think, disproves that we’re related, ’cause I’m not funny, so … it goes both ways.”

Bill Burr Slams Howie Mandel for Ambush Interview with Alleged Half-Brother Billy Corgan

Comedian Bill Burr has taken to social media to express his outrage over Howie Mandel’s recent ambush interview with alleged half-brother Billy Corgan. In a scathing post, Burr criticized Mandel for his “reckless and unethical” behavior, calling it a “disgusting abuse of his platform.”

The interview, which aired on Mandel’s podcast last week, featured Corgan’s supposed half-brother making wild and unsubstantiated claims about the rock star’s personal life. Burr, who is a close friend of Corgan’s, condemned Mandel for allowing such baseless accusations to be aired without any fact-checking or verification.

“Hey Howie Mandel, you should be ashamed of yourself for stooping so low as to exploit someone’s family drama for your own gain,” Burr wrote. “You owe Billy Corgan and his alleged half-brother a public apology for this disgraceful display of sensationalism.”

Fans of both Corgan and Burr have rallied behind the comedian’s statements, with many calling for Mandel to be held accountable for his actions. It remains to be seen whether Mandel will address the controversy and issue a response to the backlash.

In the meantime, Burr’s post serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible journalism and ethical behavior in the entertainment industry. Let’s hope that this incident will prompt a much-needed conversation about the boundaries of privacy and respect in the world of celebrity interviews.

  • Bill Burr slams Howie Mandel over Billy Corgan interview surprise

  • Smashing Pumpkins Frontman Billy Corgan Thinks Bill Burr Is His Half-Brother And Confronted Him On Howie Mandel’s Show This Week

USA TODAY – Bill Burr’s latest podcast appearance turned into an unexpected (alleged) family reunion.

When the comedian, 56, was a guest on Tuesday’s episode of the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast, a surprise special guest entered: Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Billy Corgan, 57, who previously theorized that he and Burr may be half-brothers.

Corgan revealed on “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” in November that about 10 years ago, his stepmother told him she believes Burr “might be one of the children that your father sired in his days being a traveling musician.”

“My father did once tell me that I had a half-brother named Bill, who was born around the same time as me,” Corgan said. He insisted at the time that he was not joking, though he clarified that after sitting on it, he doesn’t actually think they’re related.

So during Mandel’s Tuesday interview with Burr, the “America’s Got Talent” judge revealed he had a surprise planned and brought out Corgan. The moment the musician walked in, Burr cursed at Mandel and expressed frustration over the situation, though in a playful way.

“Did you ever think the fact that I never told that story, that maybe you shouldn’t?” Burr jokingly asked Corgan, who expressed surprise that Burr wasn’t aware he would be coming.

The comedian laughed as he asked Corgan why he felt “the need” to float the idea that they might be related before roasting him for being a fan of the Chicago Cubs. Burr later clarified he wasn’t mad at Corgan, but he jokingly tore into Mandel for setting the encounter up for “ratings,” calling it “rude” and saying a podcast wasn’t the appropriate venue for them to meet.

So the internet was on fire this week with the brain-melting theory that Bill Burr and Billy Corgan might be half-brothers. Yes, you read that right. The comic who yells at clueless pedestrians, incompetent drivers, and basically all of Boston… sharing a gene pool with the Smashing Pumpkins frontman who wrote entire albums about sadness and heartbreak.

That’s like mixing Red Bull with a bottle of sleeping pills. I can’t decide if it’s hilarious or horrifying.

Here’s how this entire thing unfolded-

Billy Corgan went on Howie Mandel’s podcast, (apparently that’s really a thing) and casually dropped the bomb that his wandering musician dad might’ve fathered 12 kids, one of whom could be Bill Burr.

Bill Burr, who is 56, has always been known to have a dad who was a dentist named Robert Burr. So the idea that Bill’s father was actually some traveling musician playing God knows where is already a curveball.

Corgan insists he doesn’t totally believe the theory, it’s more “like that thing where Bono looks like Robin Williams.” But the internet ate it up.

Fast-forward to this week, Burr is invited back to Howie Mandel’s show. Probably to talk about his new special or rant about shit.

But nope. Mendel decided to spring Billy Corgan from behind a curtain like a lost episode of Jerry Springer meets Maury Povich.

It was pretty fucked up when you think about it.

KFC did a pretty good breakdown on how bizarre of a moment it was and how caught off guard Burr seemed to be.

Let’s talk about the level of cringe here. If you’ve ever caught a Jerry Springer episode, you know the moment: Some unsuspecting victim is waiting on stage, clueless, and Jerry goes, “Well, there’s someone here who has something to tell you,” and the crowd collectively claps their hands in glee, anticipating a fight, a baby reveal, or at least somebody’s world to be crushed and life to be flipped upside down.

That is precisely what Howie Mandel tried to do- except it was (A) a podcast, and (B) Bill Burr in his mid-50s and Billy Corgan in his late 50s.

These guys are a little old for paternity-test theatrics. They both have zero hair. Nobody’s going to throw a folding chair. So what was the fucking endgame?

Apparently, Mandel believed he was staging the feel-good (or super dramatic) reveal of the year.

Instead, Bill Burr looked at him like, “What the fuck is wrong with you?” and Billy Corgan was all, “I thought you were in on this, Bill.”

    Giphy Images.

    It was beyond awkward.

Cue Burr basically calling out Howie for being a total tool, with Corgan nodding along like, “Yeah, this is kinda messed up.”

Imagine learning you might be half-siblings on a lame fucking has-been’s podcast, with cameras rolling and some random emotional piano music tinkling in the background.

This is straight-up Maury Povich territory. All that’s missing is an envelope and a crowd chanting, “You are the father!”

Howie basically tried to go full “Daytime TV Circus.” The difference is that Maury would’ve at least cut to a commercial break before the meltdown. Howie just leaves the room so the potential half-brothers can “bond.”

Next thing you know, the Mandel’s daughter vacates, and Billy Bush wanders in to apologize for having hair?

Bizarre doesn’t even begin to describe it all.

I’m a skeptic. We know Bill Burr has a new special, and Billy Corgan and Smashing Pumpkins supposedly have something in the works.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t suspect there’s some top-secret Netflix docu-series in the pipeline. “Me & My Maybe-Bro: A Burr-Corgan Story.”  The two bald, pale, sometimes-angry redheads find out they were separated by a traveling musician father. They hug it out in a final scene scored by an acoustic version of “1979.”

If not, then it better make for some legendary material from Burr in his next special.

And he better fucking torch Howie Mandel for this. Either way.

The guy is a germaphobe legend in his own mind, from game shows and America’s Got Talent. Suddenly he’s out here ambushing his guests with potential paternal bombs. That’s some next-level asshole move.

Butttttt, it would be kind of cool if these two ended up being related via a deadbeat father. The material alone that Burr will have about his weirdo half-brother will be gold.

In a shocking turn of events, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan revealed on Howie Mandel’s show this week that he believes comedian Bill Burr is his long-lost half-brother. The two came face-to-face for the first time on the show, where Corgan confronted Burr about their possible familial connection.

Corgan explained that he had recently taken a DNA test that revealed a potential match with Burr, leading him to believe that they may share a father. The musician expressed his desire to finally meet his supposed half-brother and get to know him better.

Burr seemed taken aback by the revelation but was open to exploring the possibility of their relationship. The two men shared a heartfelt moment on the show, discussing their similarities and differences, and ultimately agreeing to further investigate their connection.

Fans of both Corgan and Burr were shocked by the unexpected family drama unfolding on national television. Only time will tell if the two will discover the truth about their shared bloodline, but for now, this unlikely pair has captured the attention of the entertainment world.
