D’Angelo Russell Injury: Iffy for Tuesday
Russell is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks due to left hamstring tightness injury management, Sharif Phillips-Keaton of USA Today reports.
Russell started in the Nets’ most recent game Sunday, finishing with nine points, seven assists, four rebounds and one steal over 24 minutes in a 127-101 loss to the Thunder. If Russell is able to play in the front end of a back-to-back set Tuesday, he could move back to the bench in the event Ben Simmons (illness) — who is listed as probable — is also available to play. Even if Russell gets the green light to play Tuesday, he could still be at risk of being rested in Wednesday’s game against the Suns.
The Golden State Warriors may be without star guard D’Angelo Russell for their game on Tuesday as he deals with an injury. Russell is currently listed as questionable for the game, leaving his status up in the air.The Warriors will certainly miss Russell’s scoring ability and playmaking skills if he is unable to suit up. His absence would be a big blow to the team as they look to secure a much-needed win.
Fans will have to wait and see if Russell is able to recover in time for Tuesday’s game or if he will have to sit out due to his injury. Stay tuned for updates on his status as game day approaches.

Powell (back) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Bulls, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Powell was also questionable Sunday with the same issue but ended up recording a team-high 22 points (9-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three steals over 37 minutes. A maintenance day could therefore be on the table for the wing. Kawhi Leonard is resting for the Clippers, while James Harden is expected to play despite some groin soreness.
The Toronto Raptors may be without Norman Powell for their game on Monday, as the shooting guard is dealing with an injury. Powell suffered a sprained ankle during Saturday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, and his status for Monday’s game is currently up in the air.Powell has been a key player for the Raptors this season, averaging 19.6 points per game and shooting 43.9% from three-point range. His absence would certainly be felt on both ends of the court, as he is known for his scoring ability and defensive tenacity.
Raptors fans will have to wait for further updates on Powell’s injury and whether he will be able to suit up for Monday’s game. In the meantime, the team will have to prepare to potentially be without one of their key players as they look to secure a win. Stay tuned for more updates on Powell’s status as game time approaches.

Wolves’ Donte DiVincenzo out vs. Knicks; Karl-Anthony Towns iffy
NEW YORK — Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns is questionable to face his former team Friday with a sprained right thumb, while Minnesota‘s Donte DiVincenzo will miss his return to Madison Square Garden with a toe injury.
The game is Minnesota’s first at New York since the Knicks acquired Towns from the Timberwolves and sent Julius Randle and DiVincenzo to Minnesota just after training camps opened. The Knicks won at Minnesota last month.
Towns was hurt Monday in a loss to Detroit and sat out the Knicks’ victory at Philadelphia on Wednesday, when he wore an Eagles shirt on the bench in the first half.
DiVincenzo recently moved into the starting lineup and scored a season-high 28 points Wednesday in a 116-115 loss to Golden State. The Timberwolves, however, listed him as out on their injury report Thursday with a sprained left big toe.
The Milwaukee Bucks will be without guard Donte DiVincenzo as they face off against the New York Knicks. DiVincenzo is dealing with a lingering ankle injury that will keep him sidelined for this matchup. On the other hand, the Minnesota Timberwolves’ star center Karl-Anthony Towns is listed as questionable for their game against the Toronto Raptors. Towns is dealing with a wrist injury and his availability will be a game-time decision.
Both teams will be monitoring the status of their key players closely as they look to secure important wins in their respective games. Stay tuned for updates on DiVincenzo and Towns as game time approaches.
