Is Ameer Abdullah Playing in Week 17?

Abdullah is not listed on the injury report this week, so barring any unexpected setbacks, he is on track to play this weekend.

We’ll continue to monitor the Raiders’ injury report. You can also visit and bookmark our NFL Injury Tracker and Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.

Should You Start or Sit Ameer Abdullah in Week 17?

Abdullah punched in a touchdown and caught five of six targets – it’s gross, but he’s been reasonably usable in four of his past six games. Alexander Mattison is the better bet to lead this team in the rushing production, but he’s done nothing to earn a featured role. As long as Abdullah is at least given the chance to reach 12-14 opportunities (carries + targets), there is low-end PPR appeal here.

This should be a competitive game (not a fun game, a competitive one), and that is the exact environment in which Abdullah gave us 85 yards and a touchdown last week. I’m not forecasting a repeat performance, but he’s at least a warm body if your roster is really hurting for viable options.

Ameer Abdullah’s Fantasy Points Projection in Week 17

As of Sunday morning, Abdullah is projected to score 10.7 fantasy points in PPR formats. This includes 4.3 rushing attempts for 18.4 yards and 0.1 touchdowns. It also includes 4.7 receptions for 31.9 yards and 0.1 touchdowns.

PFN Insight on the Saints’ Defense

Although the Saints had an ugly season overall before Dennis Allen’s firing, the defense stood out as an issue. Allen was the former DC under Sean Payton, and when his defense ranked well below its sixth-place finish from last year (and 13th in 2022), the writing was on the wall.

Since his firing, New Orleans had alternated top-six weeks with bottom-15 performances. However, they finally had two poor performances in a row after recording another stinker on Monday night vs. the Packers.

The Saints recorded a 65.7 (D) grade at Lambeau Field. That was their second-worst of the season and the worst by any defense in Week 16. Only the 51-point catastrophe in Week 6 vs. the Buccaneers graded out worse for New Orleans this season.

The Saints got run over again and now rank 31st in EPA per rush (-0.06) and 30th in success rate (53.6%) with two weeks remaining. They still stay in the top 20 thanks to a top-10 pass defense by success rate and EPA per play, though they post their fifth-worst pass defense game of the season by EPA per dropback (-0.11).

Ultimately, the cellar-dwelling run defense places a pretty firm cap on New Orleans’ defensive ceiling, particularly since the injury-riddled offense isn’t strong enough to force defenses to play from behind and abandon the run.

Raiders at Saints Trends and Insights

Las Vegas Raiders

Team: The Raiders are seeking their first winning streak since Weeks 15-16 last season.

QB: Aidan O’Connell averaged a season-best 10.7 yards per first down pass last week against the Jaguars (13-of-18 for 193 yards).

Offense: After picking up eight-of-14 third downs against the Dolphins in Week 11, the Raiders are just 19-of-67 since (28.4%).

Defense: Las Vegas forced Jacksonville to punt on 58.3% of their drives, their best defensive showing of the season.

Fantasy: Brock Bowers, on Sunday, joined Evan Engram (2023) and Zach Ertz (2018) as the only tight ends in the 2000s to have four double-digit catch games in a season.

Betting: Seven of Vegas’ past eight road games have finished at least seven points off of the closing spread.

New Orleans Saints

Team: In Week 11, the Saints scored 21 points in the final quarter prior to their Week 12 bye. In the 16 quarters since that point, they’ve totaled 47 points.

QB: Spencer Rattler is dealing with a skeleton roster and spreading the ball out. Of his first nine targets, four different players saw multiple opportunities.

Offense: The Saints have been out-scored 35-0 in first halves over their past two games (they held the lead at halftime in each of their five games prior).

Defense: The Saints are 4-1 this season when holding a team to a sub-36% conversion rate on third downs (1-9 otherwise).

Fantasy: The Saints had four players get 3-8 carries, and five players catch 2-5 passes – this is a small offensive pie that is being cut into far too many pieces.

Betting: The Saints are 4-4 ATS at home this season – they haven’t had a winning ATS year at home since 2017.

Is Brandin Cooks Playing in Week 17?

Cooks is not listed on the injury report this week, so barring any setbacks, he is on track to play this weekend.

We’ll continue to monitor the Cowboys’ injury report. You can also visit and bookmark our NFL Injury Tracker and Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.

Should You Start or Sit Brandin Cooks in Week 17?

Cooks’ playing time is inching up, but he’s simply going to run out of time. We saw signs of decline last season; even if you think there is gas left in the tank, this Cooper Rush-led offense doesn’t have much of a path to accessing that.

In his eight appearances this season, Cooks is averaging just 0.80 yards per route. He’s well off of fantasy radars in all formats at this point and might have a hard time finding a suitor when he becomes an unrestricted free agent after this season wraps.

Brandin Cooks’ Fantasy Points Projection in Week 17

As of Sunday morning, Cooks is projected to score 7.3 fantasy points in PPR formats. This includes 2.7 receptions for 31.5 yards and 0.2 touchdowns.

PFN Insight on the Eagles’ Defense

The Philadelphia Eagles remain the second-ranked defense despite collapsing at the end of the Week 16 loss to the Washington Commanders, which snapped their franchise-record 10-game win streak. But while the ending was disappointing, the Eagles’ overall performance continued some encouraging trends.

The Eagles had their best defensive EPA per rush (0.74) all season, thanks to forcing two fumbles on Brian Robinson Jr. Philadelphia leads the league in defensive EPA per rush (0.18) for the season while still ranking third in pass success rate.

However, Sunday was not the pass defense’s best day, with the Eagles recording -0.31 EPA per dropback. That was their second-worst performance all season, which nullified the unit producing its highest takeaway rate (38.5%) in any game as well.

C.J. Gardner-Johnson’s mid-game ejection hurt the defense tremendously. Following the safety’s ejection early in the third quarter, the Eagles averaged a horrendous -0.64 EPA per dropback. Philly had been treading water with -0.11 EPA per dropback prior to his departure.

The good news is that circumstance won’t have any residual effect on the defense beyond Sunday, though it doesn’t speak well to the safety depth. With upcoming matchups against backup quarterbacks for the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, Philadelphia’s defense is still well-positioned for a strong finish to the regular season.

Cowboys at Eagles Trends and Insights

Dallas Cowboys

Team: The Cowboys are 10-3 in their last 13 regular season games played on or after November 19 (they are 9-10 otherwise).

QB: The Cooper Rush experience may not be perfect, but the numbers don’t lie — in 2024, the splits by starting QB:

  • Win%: Rush (57.1%), Dak Prescott (37.5%)
  • Non-TO%: Rush (87.8%), Prescott (85.1%)
  • Red Zone TD%: Rush (55%), Prescott (45.5%)

Offense: Dallas has scored on at least half of their drives in consecutive games after having one such performance this year prior.

Defense: Opponents have scored a touchdown against Dallas on 26-of-29 goal-to-go trips this season and are a perfect 13-of-13 since Week 9 in such situations.

Fantasy: Brandon Aubrey has more 55+ yard made field goals this season (six) than the Cowboys have 55+ yard plays during the regular season since the start of 2023 (five).

Betting: Over tickets have cashed in four of Dallas’ past five road covers

Philadelphia Eagles

Team: Can they get lucky win #13 this week? This franchise has hit that total three times, and they’ve won the NFC in each instance (2004, 2017, and 2022)

QB: Philadelphia’s one-seed shots took a huge shot on Sunday – none of the QBs on the three favorites in the NFC have a greater drop in QB+ from home to road than Jalen Hurts.

Offense: Philadelphia was just three-of-16 on third down against Washington (18.8%), their second-worst rate of the season.

Defense: The Eagles forced a turnover on 38.5% of Commander drives last week and found a way to lose. In their first seven games this season with a double-digit forced turnover percentage, Philadelphia was 7-0 and had outscored their opponents by 93 points.

Fantasy: Saquon Barkley ran for 109 yards in the first quarter against the Commanders on Sunday, giving him the most in a first quarter since 2011. Who did he unseat? Saquon Barkley in 2019 – against the Commanders – on December 22 (2019).

Betting: Overs are 8-3 in Philadelphia’s past 11 home divisional games.

Week 17 Injury Update, Start/Sit Advice, Projections, and More

The New York Giants will face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17. Here’s the latest fantasy football news and advice to help you with your lineups this week and moving forward, especially regarding RB Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Is Tyrone Tracy Playing in Week 17?

Updated at 11:30 AM ET on Sunday, December 29
Tracy is active for today’s game.

Tracy was limited at all three practices last week with an ankle injury. Head coach Daboll said Tracy aggravated the injury in last week’s game. It’s still very early, but it does not sound too promising for the talented rookie for Week 17. Tracy was listed as DNP on Wednesday’s estimated practice report and was also absent on Thursday.

Tracy was able to return to a limited session on Friday and, somehow, doesn’t even have an injury designation. He will play.

We’ll continue to monitor the Giants’ injury report. You can also visit and bookmark our NFL Injury Tracker and Fantasy News Tracker for the latest updates.

Should You Start or Sit Tyrone Tracy in Week 17?

The math just isn’t in Tracy’s favor. More accurately, the math doesn’t favor any Giant not named Malik Nabers.

I’m comfortable with labeling Tracy as the lead back in this offense, but with the game script so routinely an issue, he’s made it past 10 carries just once over his past five games.

The versatility of the rookie was on full display last week with a pretty toe-tap touchdown catch with Drew Lock on the move, and that upside is allowing him to keep his head above water for fantasy managers.

With 18 targets over his past three games and a 10+ yard reception in four of his last five, Tracy is at the back end of my Flex ranks for this week. The Colts are the fourth-worst third-down defense in the league, giving the Giants a fighting chance at keeping their offense on the field and thus getting Tracy the 15 touches he needs for us to feel good about him.

Tyrone Tracy’s Fantasy Points Projection in Week 17

As of Sunday morning, Tracy is projected to score 13.3 fantasy points in PPR formats. This includes 16.1 rushing attempts for 72.4 yards and 0.4 touchdowns. It also includes 1.1 receptions for 22 yards and 0.1 touchdowns.

PFN Insight on the Colts’ Defense

After starting strong against the Mason Rudolph-led Titans, the Colts’ defense nearly collapsed to turn a blowout win into a game where Tennessee had possession of the ball down one score (albeit with only three seconds remaining).

The end result was a 69.5 (D+) grade, Indy’s third-worst of the season. The Colts have had problems generating pressure all year, averaging the third-lowest non-blitz pressure rate of any defense (24.8%).

That remained true against one of the league’s worst lines, as Indy had just a single sack and generated its fifth-lowest non-blitz pressure rate of the year (20.6%).

Indianapolis’ defense has seen little improvement over the last three seasons since Shane Steichen became head coach and is actually marginally worse this year than over the last two combined. Gus Bradley’s second season as defensive coordinator hasn’t brought meaningful improvement, which could result in a change if Indianapolis misses the playoffs.

Colts at Giants Trends and Insights

Indianapolis Colts

Team: On Sunday, the Colts became the third team in the 2000s to score 38+ points without throwing 15 passes (and the first to do so when not facing a member of the Manning family).

QB: Anthony Richardson had more rush attempts than completions against the Titans and has a rushing score in three straight games (he has yet to throw for a touchdown in three consecutive appearances during his career).

Offense: Indianapolis picked up 53.3% of their third downs on Sunday (eight-of-15), matching their highest rate of the season (also: Week 4 vs. Steelers)

Defense: Opponents have converted all five of their red zone trips against the Colts into touchdowns over the past two weeks—only twice in the first 14 weeks did they allow a 100% conversion rate.

Fantasy: Get your AFC South running back exposure in August and watch it pay off in the biggest moments. Since 2017, four times has a player run for 210+ yards in a December game:

  1. Derrick Henry (2018) vs. Jaguars
  2. Derrick Henry (2019) at Texans
  3. Derrick Henry (2020) at Jaguars
  4. Jonathan Taylor (Sunday) vs. Titans

Betting: The Colts have failed to cover four straight December road games (three of those four carrying a failure to cover by at least 13 points).

New York Giants

Team: The Giants have matched the franchise record with 13 losses (also: 2017 and 2021). On the bright side, their last playoff appearance came in 2022, following a 13-loss campaign.

QB: Drew Lock has completed over 20 passes in all three of his starts this season, but none of them have gained more than 23 yards, and he has more interceptions than touchdown passes in each of those contests.

Offense: New York has picked up 13-of-52 third downs over their past four games (25%).

Defense: Opponents have picked up 17-of-25 third downs against the Giants over the past two weeks.

Fantasy: The Giants, as a team, have 1,603 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 369 carries – Saquon Barkley has turned his 314 carries into 1,838 yards and 13 scores this season.

Betting: Unders are 12-4 in New York’s past 16 home games (they are 1-5 ATS in their past six such games).

Fabianski injury, £4.9m forward + why Evanilson was benched

Rattling through the Gameweek 18 Scout Notes, we turn our attention to Southampton 0-1 West Ham United and Bournemouth 0-0 Crystal Palace.

FABIANSKI INJURY LATEST

Lukasz Fabianski (£4.1m) looks set to miss Gameweek 19 after suffering a head injury on Boxing Day.

The West Ham United goalkeeper required seven minutes of medical treatment in the first half, eventually being stretchered off while receiving oxygen. It looked initially like he was out for the count.

While Fabianski was conscious in the dressing room, avoided the need for hospital treatment and even took his place in the dugout in the closing stages, his substitution was of the ‘concussion’ variety – and the protocols dictate a period out of action. Six days is the minimum but 12 is also possible, so he could miss Gameweek 20 too.

“We had a problem with Lukasz, with Max Kilman. Fortunately Lukasz is conscious, he’s well. We are happy because it looks like it is not important.

“It’s too early to tell [if they are going to be fit for Gameweek 19]. We are talking about three days so I am not very optimistic about this but let’s see.” – Julen Lopetegui

As Julen Lopetegui mentioned above, West Ham also lost Max Kilman (£4.4m) to a shoulder injury. Carlos Soler (£5.0m) came off at half-time with a knee issue, while Tomas Soucek (£4.9m) and Guido Rodriguez (£4.8m) will both be suspended in Gameweek 19 due to yellow card accumulation.

Good news for owners of Liverpool players in FPL, then, ahead of the trip to east London.

Even with the regulars, the Hammers weren’t overly convincing. Soler smacked the crossbar with a sitter but other than that chance and Jarrod Bowen‘s (£7.5m) predatory goal, there weren’t too many clear openings. Southampton, indeed, registered more shots (18 v 16) and big chances (4 v 2) over the game.

Bowen, operating from the right as Niclas Fullkrug (£6.7m) led the line, had an eye-catching six attempts.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£4.6m) also impressed. A fourth attacking return in seven Gameweeks should have arrived when Soler missed that aforementioned opportunity. Benefitting from Lopetegui’s policy of pushing his full-backs high, Wan-Bissaka was directly involved in five West Ham chances: two shots, three created.

ONUACHU PROFLIGATE BUT DANGEROUS

One of the cheapest forwards in FPL had the most shots (eight) on Boxing Day.

Paul Onauchu (£4.9m) led the line for Saints, providing the focal point that the strugglers have missed all season.

Ivan Juric is prepared to go longer than the tippy-tappy Russell Martin was, too, which will surely boost Onuachu’s game-time prospects.

He’s £4.9m for a reason, of course. The jury is out on his finishing, despite the scoring exploits abroad.

FPL notes: Fabianski injury latest, £4.9 forward +

There were seven headers in all, four of them good chances. Fabianski produced a good save to keep out one of them, with a couple of others dropping narrowly wide. It was all a bit Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Fine margins and a name to monitor going forward, for those FPL managers going 3-5-2.

“Onuachu scored goals in Belgium every year, 20 goals. In Turkey, it’s the same thing. It’s not the same thing playing in Turkey and Belgium compared to England.

“But it’s not one year that he scored 20 goals. I believe that he can do it. What I saw in these training sessions, he has his own characteristics.

“Long ball, keep the ball, the head is strong. It’s normal that he’s not the fastest player in the world, but in some games, I think he can do it well.

“In other games, maybe it’s better to play with Archer or with another one [up front].” – Ivan Juric on Paul Onuachu, via the Daily Echo

Southampton looked decent in Juric’s first match in charge. The Croatian operated with a wing-back system, with Kyle Walker-Peters (£4.3m) matching Wan-Bissaka’s stats (two shots, three chances created) in a positive showing.

KLUIVERT SUSPENDED, WHY EVANILSON WAS BENCHED

Bournemouth have been excellent this season. Ranking in the top six for both expected goals (xG) and expected goals conceded (xGC), they fully merit their sixth-place position in the Premier League.

If there is a criticism, it’s that they’re sometimes too wasteful. No club has underachieved more on the xG front in 2024/25:

There were 18 unconverted chances against Palace, with Antoine Semenyo (£5.6m) – yet again – and Dango Ouattara (£5.0m) registering five each. Semenyo flashed a good headed chance wide late on, having earlier had a shot cleared off the line.

Evanilson (£6.0m) had to make do with a couple of late opportunities, having been benched.

“A little bit of everything because I was seeing Enes contributing very well in the moments that he has played lately. Also we have to consider now that we play in two days and a half against Fulham away, a very difficult game also.

“We are quite thin now, we have 15 fit players, so we don’t want to lose anyone more.” – Andoni Iraola on whether Evanilson’s benching was tactical or a rest

The Cherries will miss Justin Kluivert (£5.5m) in Gameweek 19 after he picked up his fifth booking of the season. Marc Guehi (£4.5m) did the same for Palace.

MUNOZ RETURNS

This was more of a rearguard effort from a resurgent Palace, who have lost only two of their last 10 league matches and kept three clean sheets along the way.

A Bournemouth backline led by the impressive Dean Huijsen (£4.3m), who scooped maximum bonus, largely kept the visitors at bay.

Daniel Munoz (£4.7m), not for the first time, had Palace’s best chance, producing a tame shot from a good position. He remains the leading FPL defender for xG this season.

Back from a ban and in the starting XI here, he’ll no doubt attract plenty of interest for the following upcoming run:

Eberechi Eze (£6.6m) returned from injury, meanwhile. We’ve not really seen the best of him this season, with this being another match that he flitted in and out of. He at least finished with team-best totals of four shots and two chances created.

Fabianski injury, £4.9m forward + why Evanilson was benched

In unfortunate news for West Ham fans, goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has suffered an injury, leaving many wondering who will step up in his absence. With a price tag of just £4.9m, could this be an opportunity for a budget-friendly forward to shine?

One player who may be worth considering is Evanilson, who was surprisingly benched in the last game. The Brazilian forward has shown promise in recent matches, but manager David Moyes may have opted to go with a different lineup for tactical reasons.

Despite being left out of the starting XI, Evanilson could still be a valuable asset for fantasy football managers looking to capitalize on his potential. Keep an eye on his performance in the next few games to see if he can earn a spot back in the starting lineup.

Will Anthony Davis Play? Full Lakers vs Kings Injury Report Revealed

The Los Angeles Lakers are gearing up for a Saturday night clash with the Sacramento Kings, after coming off their huge NBA Christmas Day victory against the Golden State Warriors. As they prepare for the game, the status of star center Anthony Davis remains uncertain. Davis suffered a left ankle sprain during the first quarter against the Warriors and was unable to return for the rest of the game.

The Lakers updated the injury report following Friday’s practice, listing Davis as questionable for Saturday’s game. Lakers reporter Mike Trudell shared that Davis was at the team’s facility receiving treatment, and there was a chance he could make his return to the court for Saturday’s matchup.

Dave McMenamin of ESPN announced that Davis will go through his pregame workout with the intention of playing.

In Davis’ absence, LeBron James, Rui Hachimura, and Austin Reaves all rose to the occasion, stepping up to fill the void left by their injured center. James led the way on Christmas Day with a 31-point, 10-assist double-double, while Reaves recorded a triple-double with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Reaves also delivered a game-winning layup with just one-second remaining.

After the game, James discussed the challenges of playing without Davis, emphasizing the need for everyone to elevate their game. “It’s always tough without AD,” James said. “Our job becomes even bigger, and we have to do more. Everyone has to contribute, especially defensively, since AD is our anchor. I thought the guys did a great job of playing together, executing offensively, and getting key stops against a really strong offensive team.”

Despite Davis’ absence, the Lakers have won four of their last five games and currently hold the sixth spot in the Western Conference. Under James’ leadership, the team is on the rise, but they’ll need continued contributions from the entire roster to maintain their momentum. Players like Reaves have been stepping up recently, and James expressed confidence in his teammates.

“It’s all about trust,” James said. “The play was designed for me, but they doubled me. It’s always good to have multiple options on the floor, and AR has been in that situation before.”

Unfortunately, though, James has been ruled out ahead of Saturday’s showdown against the Kings. He’s been listed as suffering an illness that could keep him off the floor on Saturday. This comes as a serious blow for the Lakers as James has been exceptional in recent matchups, helping turn things around for this team.

UPDATE:

Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports that Davis will officially suit up for Los Angeles on Saturday.

More Lakers: JJ Redick Provides Big Injury Update on Jaxson Hayes

The Los Angeles Lakers are gearing up to face off against the Sacramento Kings, but the big question on everyone’s mind is whether or not Anthony Davis will be taking the court. The star forward has been dealing with a lingering injury, and his status for the upcoming game is still up in the air.

In addition to Davis, the Lakers have a few other players who are nursing injuries. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is dealing with a sprained ankle, while Marc Gasol is recovering from a strained hamstring. Both players are listed as day-to-day, and their availability for the game against the Kings is uncertain.

On the other side, the Kings have their own injury concerns. De’Aaron Fox has been dealing with a knee injury, and his status for the game is questionable. Harrison Barnes is also nursing a groin injury, and his availability is up in the air as well.

With both teams dealing with key players potentially sidelined, it will be interesting to see how the game plays out. Stay tuned for updates on the injury report and whether Anthony Davis will ultimately take the court for the Lakers.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts injury update, game status Week 17 vs Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys return to action on Sunday, playing both their next-to-last game against the NFC East and for the season as a whole. Week 17 holds no promise or drama though, as Dallas was eliminated from the playoff race last week and has been reduced to the role of spoiler.

Last week’s win knocked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of first place in the NFC South and handed control over to the Atlanta Falcons. This week, the Cowboys take on the Philadelphia Eagles, who are currently leading the East by two games with two to go.

If the Eagles lose out and Washington wins out, the Commanders take the NFC East title. Also, the Eagles have a longshot chance at the No. 1 seed in the playoffs if they win out, Detroit loses out and Minnesota falls to Green Bay this weekend.

As such, it would be beneficial to them to have their franchise quarterback, Jalen Hurts, under center. Hurts has had a bounce back year and kept the Eagles from fading down the stretch as they did in 2023. However a concussion suffered in last week’s loss to Washington, which snapped the team’s 10-game winning streak, put his playing status in jeopardy.

On Friday, head coach Nick Sirianni put the concerns to rest and ruled Hurts out of the game.

Veteran signal caller Kenny Pickett will replace him in the starting lineup. Pickett, the former Steelers QB, will make his first start of the season against a Dallas defense that has been ravaged by injury this season. The Cowboys have won four of their last five games on the strength of Mike Zimmer’s defense turning the corner on the year.

Without Dak Prescott under center, Dallas has relied on QB pressure and creating turnovers, a formula they were used to under Dan Quinn for three years but one that didn’t work through the first half of the season.

QB Cooper Rush will look to exorcise his demons against the Eagles, having his two worst starting performances of his career against them. The seventh-year UDFA is now 9-4 as a starter.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts injury update, game status Week 17 vs Cowboys

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts suffered a lower body injury during the team’s Week 16 matchup against the Washington Football Team. The severity of the injury is currently unknown, but Hurts was seen limping on the sideline and did not return to the game.

As of now, Hurts’ status for the Eagles’ Week 17 game against the Dallas Cowboys is uncertain. The coaching staff is closely monitoring his condition and will make a decision closer to game time.

If Hurts is unable to play, backup quarterback Nate Sudfeld is expected to step in and lead the Eagles’ offense against their division rivals. Sudfeld has seen limited playing time this season, but he is ready to step up if called upon.

Eagles fans are hopeful that Hurts will be able to recover in time for the crucial Week 17 matchup, as the team looks to finish the season strong and potentially secure a playoff spot. Stay tuned for further updates on Hurts’ injury status and game availability.

Malik Nabers Injury Update: Status vs. Colts in Week 17

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers suffered a knee injury during practice this week, casting doubt on his availability for the team’s crucial Week 17 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

Nabers, who has emerged as a key contributor in the Saints’ passing game in recent weeks, was seen limping off the field during Thursday’s practice. The extent of his injury is still unknown, but early reports suggest that it could be serious enough to keep him out of Sunday’s game.

The Saints will surely miss Nabers’ speed and playmaking ability if he is unable to suit up against the Colts. However, the team’s depth at the wide receiver position may help to soften the blow, with players like Tre’Quan Smith and Lil’Jordan Humphrey ready to step up in his absence.

As of now, Nabers’ status for Sunday’s game remains uncertain, but fans are hopeful that he will be able to recover in time to contribute to the team’s playoff push. Stay tuned for further updates on his condition as game day approaches.
