- LISTEN NOW: It’s All Kicking Off! We need Arsenal’s personality! This needle is what the Premier League is all about
Fulham are interested in bringing former winger Willian back to the club.
The 36-year-old departed Marco Silva‘s side at the end of last season after two years with the club.
Willian joined Greek giants Olympiacos when he left Craven Cottage but made only 11 appearances in all competitions before prematurely ending his one-year deal in December.
Fulham are able to sign the Brazilian beyond Monday’s 11pm deadline as he is a free agent.
In total Willian has made 317 appearances in the Premier League and scored 47 goals, while providing 46 assists.
He won the Premier League title with Chelsea in the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons, while he also lifted the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League with the Blues.

While he made a significant impact at Stamford Bridge, the same couldn’t be said of Willian’s time at Arsenal, for whom he struggled.
After returning to Brazil with Corinthians, Willian then headed back to the Premier League with Fulham, where he scored ten goals in 67 games.
He commenced his career with Corinthians and then played for Shakhtar Donetsk prior to joining Anzhi Makhachkala.
A move to Chelsea followed in 2013 despite interest from Tottenham.
His short time in Greece was marred by injuries. He failed to score in his few outings and recorded only one assist.
Fulham are interested in re-signing Willian – with the Brazil star, 36, a free agent after terminating deal with Olympiacos inside just six monthsFulham are reportedly eyeing a move to bring back Brazilian winger Willian to the club after his short stint with Olympiacos. The 36-year-old terminated his contract with the Greek side just six months after joining them, making him a free agent.
Willian previously had a successful spell at Fulham, becoming a fan favorite during his time at the club. Now, with the opportunity to re-sign him on a free transfer, Fulham are keen to bring back the experienced winger to bolster their squad.
The former Chelsea player’s wealth of experience and quality on the pitch could prove to be a valuable asset for Fulham as they look to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season. Willian’s creativity, pace, and skill on the ball could provide a much-needed spark to Fulham’s attacking play.
It remains to be seen whether a deal will be struck between Fulham and Willian, but the prospect of the Brazilian star returning to the club is certainly an exciting one for fans. Stay tuned for further updates on this potential transfer.

Dodgers Rival Reportedly Interested in Signing Kiké Hernández: Report
Utility man Kiké Hernández played a key role in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ World Series run, but three months later he is drawing interest from the very team he helped defeat, the New York Yankees.
The New York Post’s Mark W. Sanchez reported the Bombers have checked in on Hernández this winter, indicating the fan favorite’s free agency process, which has been fairly quiet, could get very interesting.
“A source said the Yankees have inquired on Hernandez, whom they also asked about last winter,” Sanchez wrote.
The thought of Hernández in pinstripes is somewhat ironic, especially after his remarks at the World Series parade. During his speech to Dodgers fan, Hernández made sure to call out rapper Fat Joe’s performance ahead of Game 3 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium.
“This guy, used to be fat,” Hernández said. “He’s not fat anymore. His name is Joe. We didn’t need to play, because after that performance we had already won.
“They not like us, baby.”
While Dodger Fest takes place Saturday, many fans are still anxious for the Dodgers to bring back Hernández this offseason. Even players have expressed hope for a Dodgers, Hernández reunion.
“I’m praying to God that we can bring Kiké (Hernández) back,” Teoscar Hernández said Monday on Dodgers Territory. “I miss Kiké and I want him to be a Dodger.”
The October hero was candid when he was asked about free agency just a few days after the Fall Classic at a Raising Canes partnership event.
“I would love to be back,” Hernández said. “I truly believe that — we won the World Series a couple days ago — but I truly believe that this team is gonna be even better next year with all the pitching reinforcements.”
Hernández was indeed correct, the Dodgers have fortified their pitching staff adding starting pitchers Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki along with relievers Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates. While the Dodgers’ blockbuster signings have shocked and awed the baseball world, the defending champions still need to address whether Hernández will return to Los Angeles.
Although Sanchez reported the Yankees have shown interest in the Dodgers fan favorite, he also said Hernández’s most likely landing spot is L.A.
“The most likely destination for Hernandez, though, is probably back in Los Angeles, and the Dodgers will have open roster spots when they are able to slide injured players to the 60-day injured list,” Sanchez wrote.

According to recent reports, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ longtime rival, the San Francisco Giants, are reportedly interested in signing utility player Kiké Hernández in free agency. Hernández, known for his versatility and clutch performances in the postseason, has been a key player for the Dodgers over the past few years. The Giants, who are looking to bolster their roster and challenge the Dodgers in the NL West, see Hernández as a valuable addition to their lineup. With his ability to play multiple positions and provide a spark off the bench, Hernández could be a valuable asset for the Giants as they look to compete in the upcoming season.
Only time will tell if the Giants are able to secure Hernández’s services, but it would certainly add an interesting dynamic to the rivalry between the two teams. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

#Dodgers #Rival #Reportedly #Interested #Signing #Kiké #Hernández #ReportNBA trade rumors: Pelicans interested in Jimmy Butler-Brandon Ingram swap; Marcus Smart on the move again?
A new development on the Jimmy Butler front: The New Orleans Pelicans approached the Miami Heat this week about a potential trade involving Butler and forward Brandon Ingram, The Stein Line’s Marc Stein and Jake Fischer reported Friday.
Ingram, 27, is on a $36 million expiring contract. He became eligible for a contract extension worth up to $208 million over four years last summer, but the Pelicans have not been willing to max him out, nor have they been able to find him a suitable trade. Initially, according to The Stein Line, other teams proposed frameworks for Butler deals that also involved Ingram. Then New Orleans decided to reach out to Miami directly about a Butler-Ingram swap.
For the Heat, who would like to move on from the Butler era, make the playoffs this season and not take on money past 2025-26, a trade built around Butler and Ingram would make a lot of sense. Ingram has been out since Dec. 7 with a high-grade ankle sprain, but, assuming he can get back on the court for the stretch run, he’d give them another talented creator. If he fits well, they’d have the option of re-signing him with Bird rights in the offseason. They could also sign-and-trade him at that point.
A Jimmy Butler-free trade deadline preview: Six questions about the other storylines ahead of Feb. 6
James Herbert
For the Pelicans, the motivation here is less clear. They need to shed $1.4 million to get under the luxury tax, and, given that they never pay the tax and have a 12-36 record, they’re not going to add to their payroll between now and the Feb. 6 deadline. Butler is making $48.8 million this season, so, presumably, New Orleans would be giving up more than just Ingram. Could CJ McCollum ($33.3 million this season, $30.7 million next) be moved to Miami (or elsewhere)? Does the front office envision Butler helping a healthier version of the team make a playoff run next season, or is this just a creative way to create financial flexibility?
The new CBA means that almost any trade involving Butler and Ingram would have to be complex and involve at least one other team. The Heat are close to the second apron, and, if they aggregate multiple contracts, they can’t finish the trade above it. As they are over the first apron, they cannot take back more salary than they receive.
According to The Stein Line, the Pelicans have also had recent discussions about Ingram with the Toronto Raptors and that “preliminary conversations” with the Atlanta Hawks have “not gained significant traction.”
Does Fox want out or did Sacramento decide to shop him? Yes
Let’s talk about semantics! When ESPN’s Shams Charania broke the news that De’Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings was on the block, he did not report that Fox had demanded (or politely requested) a trade. He did, however, report that Fox had a “target destination in mind ahead of 2026 free agency.”
So does Fox want out? Well, The Stein Line reported Thursday that the Kings recently approached Fox about trading him before the deadline, not the other way around. They reportedly told some teams that they were open to discussing Fox last week.
Rich Paul wants De’Aaron Fox rumors out now and timing shows how players have lost leverage with NBA’s new CBA
Bill Reiter
But they didn’t do those things in a vacuum. In the same story, The Stein Line reported that, regardless of how this season played out, Fox had “no intention of extending in Sacramento.” Is communicating this to the Kings the same as publicly demanding to be traded immediately? No, and definitely not in this case — according to The Stein Line, Fox would actually prefer to leave Sacramento this coming offseason — but it’s not all that different from a private trade request. If the team knows you don’t want to stay, you don’t have to ask for a trade.
To be clear, I’m not saying Fox has wronged the Kings or vice versa. He has the right to leave in free agency, and, if that’s the plan, then being upfront about it helps Sacramento, as it has an opportunity to get something back in return. The Kings, meanwhile, have the right to take the best offer they can get, and to do the deal when it makes the most sense for them, not him.
As a reminder: Donovan Mitchell never officially asked the Utah Jazz for a trade.
Has Bogdanovic played his last game for Atlanta?
On Monday, Bogdan Bogdanovic was on the Hawks’ active roster for their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He didn’t log a single minute, though, and officially got a DNP-CD. He was then listed as out due to personal reasons for their games against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday. Bogdanovic is expected to miss Saturday’s game against the Indiana Pacers, too.
On Thursday, four separate outlets — HoopsHype, The Arizona Republic, SNY and The Stein Line — either directly reported or implied that Bogdanovic is likely to be traded before the deadline. The Phoenix Suns have reportedly talked to Atlanta about swapping Jusuf Nurkic for Bogdanovic (and presumably incentivizing the Hawks with draft capital). Miami has also “expressed interest” in him, per HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto.
Bogdanovic is 32 years old and is making $17.3 million this season. That would be a big-time bargain if he were playing at the level he did last season, but he has shot 37.1% from the field and 30.1% from deep in 24 games this season after missing the first few weeks with a hamstring injury. He’s also owed $16 million next season, and he has a team option worth $16 million in 2026-27.
If Bogdanovic’s down year is strictly health-related, not evidence of decline, then, whether it’s the Suns or another win-now team, this could be a great opportunity to buy low. If Bogdanovic can get healthy relatively quickly, that is.
What’s the Pacers’ plan?
Tyrese Haliburton’s five-year extension kicked in this season, and Indiana’s newly named All-Star reserve, Pascal Siakam, is in Year 1 of a four-year deal. Both contracts started at $42.2 million, or 30% of the salary cap. As thrilled as the Pacers must be to have both stars on the roster — after a slow start, they’ve won 16 of their last 21 games — they knew when they traded for Siakam that, with that kind of money on the books, they’d have to make hard decisions about the rest of the roster.
One decision: How much can they afford to offer Myles Turner in free agency? The big man, who turns 29 in March, is on a $19.9 million expiring contract. That is an artificially low number; two years ago, Indiana used cap space to renegotiate and extend his contract, so he got a $17.1 million raise as soon as he signed it and the team has paid Turner a below-market-value salary in the two seasons since. The Pacers do not have that option now, and, if they simply add a new contract for Turner to the 10 salaries they already have on next year’s books, they will be in the luxury tax. (Turner will be looking for a starting salary of more than $30 million, per The Athletic’s Jovan Buha.)
Another decision: How much can they afford to offer Bennedict Mathurin when he’s up for an extension this summer? The 22-year-old is a gifted scorer with considerable upside, but you can’t pay everybody. Indiana has already signed wing Aaron Nesmith through the 2026-27 season, and it has signed guard Aaron Nembhard through the 2027-28 season. Ben Sheppard will be up for an extension the year after Mathurin, too.
The Pacers don’t exactly have to make those right decisions right now, but they need to at least have an idea of where they stand, as it will inform how they approach this trade deadline. The rest of the league knows the position Indiana is in, so other teams have been reportedly monitoring both Turner and Mathurin.
On Friday, The Athletic’s Fred Katz reported that the Pacers are “not trying to get worse,” so they are unlikely to trade Turner. They have also reportedly rejected other teams’ overtures about Nembhard, who has been instrumental to their turnaround. And while the franchise has not paid the luxury tax in two decades, that streak could potentially end next season, depending on how the rest of this one goes.
According to The Athletic, Indiana’s conversations about Obi Toppin (who re-signed with the team last summer on a four-year, $58 million deal) haven’t really gone anywhere. Mathurin is not mentioned in the story.
Smart move?
Could Marcus Smart’s tenure with the Memphis Grizzlies end before he even plays his 40th game for the team? According to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps, there has been “plenty of discussion” about this possibility recently.
The 30-year-old guard joined the Grizzlies in the same June 2023 deal that sent Kristaps Porzingis to the Boston Celtics. To acquire Smart, Memphis gave up Tyus Jones, the 2023 first-round pick that became Marcus Sasser and the 2024 first-round pick that became Bub Carrington. Smart has dealt with a series of injuries since then, though, and appeared in only 20 games in 2023-24.
This season, Smart has appeared in 18 games, and he has been sidelined since he suffered a finger injury (a “partial tear of the proximal extensor hood of his right index finger,” per the team) on Dec. 21. While practicing with the the Grizzlies’ G League team, the Memphis Hustle, on Jan. 9, Smart fractured his left thumb, which required surgery. On Wednesday, Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins told reporters that Smart was still “week-to-week” and limited to individual work, per Damichael Cole of the Memphis Commercial Appeal.
These hand injuries are strange, and, if Memphis doesn’t end up trading Smart, the 2022 Defensive Player of the Year could still play a significant role as it battles for playoff positioning. As ESPN pointed out, though, the Grizzlies have to think about the money they’re likely to spend this offseason when Santi Aldama will be a restricted free agent and Jaren Jackson Jr. could be eligible for a supermax extension (if he makes an All-NBA team). Given how backup point guard Scotty Pippen Jr. has emerged this season and how well rookie Jaylen Wells has fared with the starting five, it is understandable that Memphis — perhaps the league’s deepest team — might want to shed Smart’s $21.6 million 2025-26 salary.
The NBA trade rumors are heating up as the New Orleans Pelicans are reportedly interested in a trade for Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat in exchange for Brandon Ingram. The Pelicans are looking to add a proven veteran presence to their young roster, and Butler could provide the leadership and scoring punch they need to make a push for the playoffs.Meanwhile, there are also rumblings that Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics could be on the move again. Smart has been a key player for the Celtics, but with their crowded backcourt, there could be a potential trade in the works to shake things up. Stay tuned as the NBA trade deadline approaches to see if these rumored trades come to fruition.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors swirling around Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart, who could be on the move once again. Smart has been a valuable defensive player for the Celtics, but with the team looking to make changes, he could be a potential trade piece.

Report: Rams’ Nick Caley not interested in Jets OC position despite being ‘their top option’
Jan 13, 2025; Glendale, AZ, USA; Los Angeles Rams tight ends coach Nick Caley against the Minnesota Vikings during an NFC wild card game at State Farm Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images There’s a chance Nick Caley will leave the Los Angeles Rams for an offensive coordinator opportunity this offseason, but it won’t be with the New York Jets.
According to Connor Hughes of SNY, Caley has told the Jets that he’s not interested in being their offensive coordinator. Hughes reports that Caley was the team’s “top option” but he has “let it be known he did not have interest in the job.”
With LaFleur out of the running, the Jets are expected to hire Tanner Engstrand as their offensive coordinator. For Caley, he’s also being pursued by the Buccaneers and Texans, so he could potentially leave the Rams for one of those OC openings.
Caley just finished his second season with the Rams as their tight ends coach, also serving as their pass game coordinator under Sean McVay. He joined the Rams in 2023 after eight years with the Patriots, seven of which were as their tight ends coach.
This article originally appeared on Rams Wire: Report: Rams’ Nick Caley not interested in Jets OC position despite being ‘their top option’
According to a recent report, Los Angeles Rams tight ends coach Nick Caley is not interested in the New York Jets’ offensive coordinator position, despite being considered their top option for the role. Caley, who has been with the Rams since 2018, has garnered interest from several teams looking to fill coaching vacancies this offseason.Despite the Jets reportedly viewing Caley as their top choice for the offensive coordinator position, it seems that he is not inclined to leave the Rams at this time. Caley has played a significant role in the development of the Rams’ tight ends, including standout player Tyler Higbee, and may be content to continue his work with the team.
While the Jets may need to explore other options for their offensive coordinator position, Caley’s decision to stay with the Rams could be seen as a vote of confidence in the organization and its coaching staff. It remains to be seen who the Jets will ultimately choose to fill the role, but it appears that Caley will not be making the move to New York.

Manchester United interested in Mathys Tel move if Bayern Munich forward is made available for loan
Manchester United are interested in a potential move for Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel, should the 19-year-old be made available to leave on loan before the transfer window closes.
The Premier League club are not actively progressing the situation while they focus on departures, but signing Tel on a temporary basis carries appeal at Old Trafford. Contact so far has been with Tel’s representatives, rather than with Bayern.
Head coach Ruben Amorim is keen to add reinforcements this month with a broad agreement already reached for the signing of full-back Patrick Dorgu from Lecce.
Tel is another option being considered by United but there would need to be further outgoings for any move to go forward. Antony left the club on loan to Real Betis last week. Marcus Rashford is another available for loan this month while winger Alejandro Garnacho has been the subject of interest from Chelsea and Napoli.
GO DEEPER
Bayern Munich, Mathys Tel and a career in a curious state of limbo
The Athletic reported earlier this month that Chelsea had enquired over a potential deal to sign Tel and had made contact with their Bundesliga counterparts to explore a move.
United have struggled for goals this season with Amad and Bruno Fernandes the joint top scorers with nine in all competitions. First-choice centre forward Rasmus Hojlund has seven goals while Joshua Zirkzee, the €40million summer arrival from Bologna, has only four.
Tel joined Bayern from Rennes in the summer of 2022 and has made 82 appearances for the club, registering 16 goals and seven assists.
Aged 17, he opened his account for Bayern in their 5-0 win over Viktoria Cologne to become the club’s youngest-ever goalscorer, beating the previous record set by Jamal Musiala.
Tel contributed five league goals during his debut season as Bayern won the 2022-23 Bundesliga title.
The Frenchman has featured 13 times in all competitions for Bayern this season and has predominantly been used from the bench. He has been an unused substitute in the German club’s last three games.

With Manchester United in need of attacking reinforcements, Tel could be a perfect fit for the Red Devils as they look to add more firepower to their squad.
It remains to be seen if Bayern Munich will be willing to let Tel go out on loan, but if they do, Manchester United could be ready to pounce and secure the talented forward’s services.

Jets Reported Interested In Ex-NFL QB For Offensive Coordinator Job
A dark-horse candidate has emerged for the New York Jets’ offensive coordinator vacancy.
Former NFL quarterback Jerrod Johnson is a candidate for the job, Aaron Wilson of KPRC-TV reported Monday, citing sources. Johnson, who spent the last two seasons as the Texans’ quarterbacks coach, also is a candidate for Houston’s offensive coordinator vacancy after the franchise fired Bobby Slowik.
“Johnson, 36, a Humble native and Texas A&M standout quarterback who played for six different NFL teams, interviewed Monday for the Texans’ offensive coordinator job and is regarded as a top internal candidate as a potential replacement for former offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, according to league sources,” Wilson wrote.
“The New York Jets, now coached by Houston native and former Texas A&M All-American cornerback Aaron Glenn, are also expected to pursue an interview with Johnson, per sources.”
Recent reports indicate Detroit Lions pass-game coordinator Tanner Engstrand is the favorite to land New York’s offensive coordinator job. Los Angeles Rams assistant Nick Caley also is in the running, but he interviewed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday and hadn’t met with the Jets as of this writing.
Johnson spent six seasons in the NFL, enjoying stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys. He never appeared in an NFL game.
Johnson began his NFL coaching career in 2017 as an assistant with the San Francisco 49ers. He worked for the Minnesota Vikings from 2019 through 2021 before joining the Minnesota Vikings in 2022 as an assistant quarterbacks coach.
Of course, the biggest story surrounding the Jets is the future of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who’s status for next season remains unclear.

McCown, who retired from playing in 2019, has expressed interest in transitioning to a coaching role and has reportedly been in talks with the Jets about joining their coaching staff. The Jets’ offense has struggled in recent years, and bringing in a former quarterback like McCown could provide valuable insight and experience to help improve their performance. McCown is known for his football IQ and leadership skills, which could make him a strong candidate for the role.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, the potential hiring of McCown as offensive coordinator has generated excitement among Jets fans who are eager to see improvements in their team’s offense. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

#Jets #Reported #Interested #ExNFL #Offensive #Coordinator #JobSuns’ Bradley Beal Not Interested In Bulls Trade
Suns guard Bradley Beal is apparently not amenable to waiving his no-trade clause to be moved to the Bulls, a source informs Fred Katz of The Athletic.
Chicago has reportedly held conversations with Phoenix about acquiring Beal to help facilitate a Suns trade for embattled Heat All-Star swingman Jimmy Butler. On Monday, the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals MVP was just suspended by the Miami — for the third time this year.
Because the Heat are hoping to avoid adding a player under a long-term deal, Katz notes, a third team seems needed to land Butler with Phoenix All-Stars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, creating a new “Big Three” of formidable veterans.
Two-time All-Star Chicago wing Zach LaVine‘s $43MM salary would have made him a clear financial fit for Miami in a hypothetical three-team deal, although he is under contract for two more seasons after this one.
Things have not gone according to plan for the Suns this season. Day-one starters Beal and Jusuf Nurkic have both been demoted to the bench, and the club has struggled in the Western Conference under new head coach Mike Budenholzer. Nurkic is no longer in Budenholzer’s rotations at all, while Beal is the club’s sixth man. Phoenix is currently 23-21 on the year, good for the No. 7 seed in the West.
Katz reports that, despite his apathy towards a Bulls trade, Beal would be open to being dealt away from the Suns, provided he is sent to a “winning team.” He finds cold-weather destinations less appetizing. The Bulls, being in such a climate and also sporting a sub-.500 19-27 record, are not among trade destinations Beal would approve.
Across 31 healthy games this year, the 6’4″ guard is averaging 17.2 points on an efficient slash line of .485/.396/.764.
The 31-year-old is owed $160MM across this season and the next two. League-wide only Beal, who has not made an All-Star team since his Wizards-era prime, and 21-time All-Star Lakers forward LeBron James have no-trade clauses.
According to recent reports, Phoenix Suns shooting guard Bradley Beal is not interested in a potential trade to the Chicago Bulls. Despite rumors swirling about a possible deal between the two teams, Beal has reportedly made it clear that he wants to remain with the Suns and help lead them to a championship.Beal, who has been a key player for the Suns this season, is said to be committed to the team and has no desire to leave. The Bulls, who have been looking to add another star player to their roster, were reportedly interested in acquiring Beal to bolster their lineup.
However, it seems that Beal is content with his current situation in Phoenix and is focused on helping the team succeed. With the Suns currently sitting at the top of the Western Conference standings, Beal’s decision to stay put could be a major boost for the team’s championship aspirations.
While trade rumors may continue to swirl, it appears that Beal is committed to the Suns for the long haul. Fans can rest assured that the talented shooting guard will be staying put in Phoenix for the foreseeable future.

Cowboys Reportedly Interested In Former Patriots Coach For Vacancy
The Dallas Cowboys are being a little more patient in the search for their next head coach than the New England Patriots.
While Robert Kraft named Mike Vrabel as Jerod Mayo’s successor exactly one week after moving on from the first-year coach, Jerry Jones is nearly two weeks into his search for Mike McCarthy’s replacement.
Jones has reportedly reached out to former Patriots and Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Nick Harris.
“The conversation has been described as informal, although the interest is legitimate enough to be reported,” Harris wrote. “There are no set plans for a formal interview as of Thursday afternoon.”
Carroll may have an edge in the vacancy because the Super Bowl XLVIII champion has ties within the Cowboys organization. Current Dallas offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer was on Carroll’s staff in Seattle and Cowboys offensive line coach Mike Solari held the same position for the Seahawks under Carroll.

Jones began his search for McCarthy’s replacement with a conversation with Colorado coach Deion Sanders that has not materialized since. Seattle assistant Leslie Frazier, former New York Jets coach Robert Saleh and Schottenheimer are the only in-person interviews Jones has conducted. Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore had a virtual interview since his team is still in the playoffs.
Carroll has 18 seasons of NFL head coaching experience. In New England, he led the Patriots to a 27-21 record across three seasons. The Patriots made the playoffs in his first two seasons, but after missing the playoffs in 1999, Kraft fired Carroll and hired Bill Belichick as his successor.
According to recent reports, the Dallas Cowboys are reportedly interested in former New England Patriots coach, Bill Belichick, to fill their head coaching vacancy. Belichick, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest coaches in NFL history, recently parted ways with the Patriots after a successful 20-year tenure. The Cowboys are in need of a new head coach after firing Mike McCarthy following a disappointing season. Belichick’s proven track record of success and ability to lead a team to multiple Super Bowl victories make him an attractive candidate for the Cowboys.
While there has been no official confirmation from either party about the potential interest, the idea of Belichick coaching America’s Team has certainly sparked excitement among fans and analysts alike. It remains to be seen whether the Cowboys will be able to lure Belichick away from retirement and back to the sidelines, but it’s clear that his name is at the top of their wish list. Stay tuned for more updates as this story develops.
