    Barca went into the vital fixture with crosstown rivals Espanyol having done them a huge favour by beating Real Madrid on Saturday night.

    For another good 20 yards, Lamine carried on twisting and turning at will until lifting his head up and laying off a perfect outside of the foot trivela pass to Raphinha.

    Unfortunately the Brazilian couldn’t do anything with it and hit a pretty tame shot across goal.

    Yet it wasn’t long until X, formerly known as Twitter, was awash with footage of Lamine’s magnificent run.

    La Liga and Barca’s official accounts were two that uploaded the footage, which set the internet alight.

    Understandably, comparisons to his fellow left footed La Masia graduate Lionel Messi – which have intensified since a photo of the Argentine blessing a baby Lamine went viral in the summer – were 10 a penny if you will.

    Surely it can’t be long until Lamine inherits the holy jersey Messi once wore that is currently occupied by fringe player Ansu Fati.

    Maybe it’s when Lamine signs a long-term contract as expected when turning 18 on July 13 that a formal changing of the guard can take place.

    Like his fellow Spain internationals Pedri and Gavi this week, Lamine should commit until mid-2030 at least while expected to earn something between $7-8 million a season.

    After Reese Witherspoon told PEOPLE about an embarrassing, friendship-ending speech she gave that was meant to honor an unnamed actress, Internet sleuths went to work to identify the woman.

    The general consensus, according to Just Jared and social media users: They believe Witherspoon was referring to Kate Winslet.

    And while a source tells PEOPLE Witherspoon wasn’t referring to Winslet, here are the clues that led many to that conclusion. While promoting her new movie You’re Cordially Invited, Witherspoon recalled how another actress once asked her for a favor.

    “So this friend of mine, who I didn’t really know that well but she was a very serious, proper actress, she asked me to give her an award. But I had never been to this award ceremony, so I thought it was like a roast. So I got up and I roasted her,” Witherspoon said.

    The Legally Blonde star then admitted that wasn’t the vibe of the event: “The tone was British. Elegant. Classy,” she continued.

    She then referenced a portion of her speech: “I was like, ‘Remember the time we got laser hair removal?’ I’m kidding. I’m still embarrassed about it,” Witherspoon continued.

    “It wasn’t good. We’re not friends anymore. I’m not even kidding. We’re not friends anymore. She doesn’t like me anymore,” Witherspoon concluded. “I’m not even kidding. She doesn’t talk to me anymore.”

    Just Jared found — via a Witherspoon fan site — a partial transcript of a 2007 speech Witherspoon gave at the BAFTA/LA Cunard Britannia Awards.

    “I always wanted to be a European movie star, wear giant sunglasses, elaborate neck scarves, smoke hand-rolled cigarettes, and have savoir faire and gravitas,” Witherspoon said, according to Just Jared.

    “Imagine my good fortune when Kate Winslet moved into my neighborhood, rang my door bell and said, (insert British accent here) ‘Dahling, Sam is off shooting, and I believe our children are the same age. Could they possibly have a play date and oh, by the way, it’s almost 9 o’clock and I’ve had nothing to do drink, do you have any wine?’”

    Though the fan site did not have the exact transcript of what Witherspoon said regarding laser hair removal, the site did reference that Witherspoon touched on that topic in her speech.

    Talented pacer Harshit Rana, who has played two Tests, quite surprisingly made a surprise entry into the India playing XI in the fourth T20I against England in Pune on Friday. Though initially not named in the XI, Rana was called upon to replace allrounder Shivam Dube as a concussion substitute after the latter was struck on the helmet in the final over of India’s innings. Dube, who scored 53, was hit on the helmet in the penultimate ball of the Indian innings by a Jamie Overton delivery.

    Following the mandatory concussion test, Dube was cleared to play. However, he was run out on the final delivery of the innings.

    Rana, who had recently played in the opening Test against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, came in to bowl in the 12th over and made an immediate impact, dismissing Liam Livingstone for 9. Rana finished with three wickets. 

    England skipper Jos Buttler appeared unhappy with the decision and was seen having a discussion with the umpires on the field. According to ICC’s rules, teams are only allowed to name like-for-like replacements if a batsman is ruled out due to a concussion.

    The decision to use Rana as a replacement of Dube did not go down well with many social media users, with some calling it cheating. 

    India had posted 181/9 after being sent in to bat. The hosts won the match by 15 runs to take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series. The final T20I will be played in Mumbai on Sunday.

  • “Hilariously inaccurate” — Internet reacts to Katt Williams saying no one voted for Kamala Harris, not just Black men


    During Katt Williams’ recent Heaven On Earth Tour comedy shows, the comedian commented on Kamala Harris’ presidential election run. He opined that nobody voted for the former vice president, sparking reactions from netizens on social media.

    Popular blog The Art of Dialogue took to their X account on January 26, 2025, to share a clip of Katt Williams’ recent acts. In the video, he is heard saying:

    “Nobody voted for this [Kamala Harris] b***h. Women didn’t vote for her, Indians didn’t vote for her. Jews didn’t vote for her, she married a Jew, they did not vote for her. B**ches that wanted abortion didn’t vote for her. It was sad, sad, sad. They say that Katt Williams got more votes and I wasn’t even bragging. They said they didn’t want me in. I don’t know.”

    The controversial internet personality added:

    “I expected more of Kamala. It’s one thing to get your a*s whooped but you still have to come out, man. She didn’t even show the f**k up for her own… she left her own sorority in the cold.”

It was reported that 61% of respondents were expected to vote for Harris. The survey noticed a 4% decline compared to the 2020 presidential elections. Meanwhile, some other reactions said:

    Katt Williams last made headlines after appearing on the Club Shay Shay podcast last year after throwing jabs at multiple entertainers, including Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, Michael Blackson, Ludacris, and Rickey Smiley, among others.

    On November 19, 2024, Club Shay Shay podcast’s host Shannon Sharpe said during a Nightcap stream alongside Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson that Williams could possibly make a return to his show. While responding to rumors of Williams holding back comments about Hollywood, Sharpe said:

    “There’s a possibility that you might hear the haymakers very soon. I can tell you this: He’s been writing more material.”

    During Williams’ earlier appearance on the show, he shockingly attacked Kevin Hart claiming the latter supposedly never having sold out shows. In response to the same, Hart said on X:
