  • Jeezy, Jeannie Mai Divorce Still Messy, Police Get Involved

If you thought the mess between rapper Jeezy and his ex-wife Jeannie Mai was going to stay in 2024, then boy, do we have news for you. Unfortunately, it may not be news you’re going to like.

In new court documents obtained by InStyle on Friday, it appears the two got embroiled into yet another dispute back in December 2024 that reportedly ended up with police getting called. The impetus? An alleged pre-scheduled visit to Jeezy’s house in Georgia that a judge allowed via court order for Mai to retrieve boxes with her last things in them like handbags, shoes, her Emmys and other trophies and more that were reportedly inside the garage.

However, when she was there, she was refused entry by the house manager “on the orders of Jeezy.” His reason for doing so allegedly stemmed from his concerns over letting the former host of “The Real” into their home for fear that she’d plant “listening devices or cameras” and Mai’s alleged previous attempts at “destroying [Jeezy’s] career with misleading information.”

“[Jeannie] is angry about the parties divorce and she is revengeful. In addition, the mere presence of [Jeannie] inside [Jeezy’s] home and personal space, after the highly contested nature of the divorce case, would absolutely destroy [Jeezy’s] peace and tranquility, as well as invade his privacy,” the rapper’s lawyers said in the documents.

However, Mai is pushing back against those claims and is arguing that the “Put On” artist had previously agreed to let her come to the house to pick up her things and knew exactly when she was planning to pull up. Upon her arrival, that’s when he switched up and violated the terms of the court order by not allowing her or her movers to get her things. As a result, the Atlanta police were were called and later arrived at the home in attempt to resolve the issue.

    InStyle with more:

“When the police officer informed the house manager that a court order was, in fact, being violated, the house manager then had to shift gears and create a new barrier to entry. Next, the house manager, at the direction of [Jeezy], refused to allow anyone on behalf of [Jeannie] to enter the home unless they signed a nondisclosure agreement. To note, there is nothing in the court order that states any language regarding a nondisclosure agreement,” Mai’s lawyer wrote.

Fortunately, Mai was able to get her things, but  multiple boxes were damaged with water and showed proof that a rodent had eaten through them. Several of her trophies were also allegedly scratched up and/or broken.

This news comes just four months after Mai blasted her ex for allegedly unfulfilled settlement requirements back in September 2024. The former couple’s divorce was settled earlier that summer.

It seems like the divorce between rapper Jeezy and TV host Jeannie Mai is still far from amicable, as police had to get involved in their messy split. Reports have surfaced that tensions between the former couple have escalated to the point where law enforcement had to intervene.

The details of what exactly transpired leading up to the police involvement have not been disclosed, but it’s clear that the situation is not a smooth one. Jeezy and Jeannie Mai announced their split back in 2020, just a year after getting engaged.

Fans of the couple are shocked by the turn of events, as many had hoped for a peaceful resolution to their relationship. It remains to be seen how the divorce proceedings will play out, but it’s clear that things are far from being resolved between Jeezy and Jeannie Mai. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

  • Listen to Jeannie Mai’s 911 Call to Police in Fight With Ex Jeezy Over Entering His Georgia Home

Jeannie Mai called the police after being denied entry to the home she once shared with her ex-husband, Jeezy, and In Touch obtained the 911 call.

As In Touch first reported, Jeannie, 46, showed up at Jeezy’s Georgia home on December 9, 2024. She said she showed up with her assistant, security and movers.

Jeannie and Jeezy, 47, settled their divorce in June 2024.

Recently, the judge presiding over the case ordered that Jeannie was allowed to go to Jeezy’s home and pick up boxes he packed of her personal items, including her Emmy, trophies, handbags, photos and shoes.

Jeezy opposed Jeannie being able to freely walk through the home and wanted her to simply pick up the boxes inside his garage.

Jeannie said she had no intention of invading Jeezy’s privacy and simply wanted to make sure she didn’t leave any property behind.

The judge had yet to rule on Jeezy’s concerns when Jeannie arrived one the court-approved date to pick up her items.

In her recent motion, Jeannie claimed that Jeezy’s house manager was present when she and her team showed up to the home.

She said the manager refused to allow her and her security team to access the garage where the boxes were stored. In addition, she claimed she was not allowed entry into the home. Jeannie said she called the Atlanta Police Department to make a report.

On the call, Jeannie can be heard telling dispatch that she was calling because she has a “court order to be able to enter” her old home. She said, “I’m going through a divorce right now.” Jeannie said, “I’m here now and the owner isn’t permitting me in.”

She said she wanted an officer to come out to make a report of the situation “or at least try once more to … to see if there’s a way with the police to possibility allow me entry into the home.”

The dispatch told Jeannie that she was sending out an officer to deal with the situation. Jeannie said, “I’m here with my assistant and security. Movers are going to be on the property in about 30 minutes.”

She told the dispatch the Jeezy was not home but that his team was blocking her access.

In her motion, Jeannie’s lawyer wrote, “When the police officer informed the house manager that a court order was, in fact, being violated, the house manager then had to shift gears and create a new barrier to entry.”

Jeannie’s lawyer continued, “Next, the house manager, at the direction of [Jeezy], refused to allow anyone on behalf of [Jeannie] to enter the home unless they signed a nondisclosure agreement. To note, there is nothing in the court order that states any language regarding a nondisclosure agreement.”

Jeannie said she was finally allowed in the garage to pick up boxes that she claims were badly damaged.

“The boxes were wet, with water having soaked through the boxes, damaging personal items. There were mouse traps set in the garage, presumably set for mice which had eaten through some of the boxes,” Jeannie’s lawyer wrote.

“Many of [Jeannie’s] awards were broken and scratched,” the lawyer continued.

According to the police report, Jeezy’s lawyer spoke to police who arrived at the scene on the phone. The lawyer told officers Jeezy consented to Jeannie grabbing the boxes but not walking through the home.

The report noted, “Ms. Mai requested that the incident be recorded for the purpose of further litigation.” A judge has yet to rule on the situation.

In a recent turn of events, Jeannie Mai’s 911 call to police during a heated altercation with her ex-boyfriend Jeezy over entering his Georgia home has surfaced. The call reveals the intense emotions and tensions that were present during the incident, shedding light on the volatile nature of their relationship.

In the call, Jeannie is heard expressing her concern for her safety as she describes the confrontation with Jeezy. She explains that she was trying to retrieve some of her belongings from his home when he became aggressive and refused to let her leave. The situation quickly escalated, prompting Jeannie to call for help.

This shocking revelation has left fans and followers of the couple in disbelief, as they were once considered #relationshipgoals in the public eye. However, this incident serves as a stark reminder that domestic disputes can happen to anyone, regardless of their public image.

  • Jeannie Mai Calls Police in Fight With Ex Jeezy Over Property

Jeannie Mai showed up to ex-husband Jeezys home to collect boxes of personal items from the home they once shared but had to call police after she was refused entry, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Jeannie, 46, said the drama with Jeezy, 47, started back in November 2024. The exes initially settled their divorce in June 2024.

A couple of months later, Jeannie said she had items that she needed to pick up from Jeezy’s home in Georgia.

Jeezy (real name: Jay Jenkins) said he placed Jeannie’s property, which included her Emmy and other trophies, photos, handbags, shoes and other items in boxes. The judge ruled that Jeannie could pick up the items within 21 days from Jeezy’s home.

However, Jeezy asked the court to modify the court due to him not feeling safe with Jeannie roaming around his home.

Jeezy’s lawyer said the musician was “perfectly fine with [Jeannie] coming to his residence to retrieve her personal property.”

The rapper said he had “legitimate concerns about Jeannie being able to walk through the whole house.”

“[Jeezy] does not feel safe having [Jeannie] in his home. Given [Jeannie’s] history of attempting to destroy [Jeezy’s] career with misleading information, [Jeezy] would have no way of knowing if [Jeannie] is planting listening devices or cameras in his home,” his lawyer said.

“[Jeannie] is angry about the parties divorce and she is revengeful. In addition, the mere presence of [Jeannie] inside [Jeezy’s] home and personal space, after the highly contested nature of the divorce case, would absolutely destroy [Jeezy’s] peace and tranquility, as well as invade his privacy,” his lawyer added.

Now, Jeannie fired back at Jeezy’s claims he doesn’t feel safe in his home.

She said her lawyers notified Jeezy she would be coming to his home on December 9, 2024.

She claimed Jeezy said he had no objections to her coming to pick up her items that were packed and in his garage. Jeannie said her lawyers asked for confirmation that Jeezy was going to allow Jeannie inside the home.

Jeannie’s lawyers said their client had no intention of invading Jeezy’s privacy or placing any recording devices in the home — and that she simply wanted to make sure she didn’t leave anything behind. Jeannie said she arrived on December 9, 2024, with her movers at Jeezy’s home.

She said Jeezy’s house manager, “on the orders of [Jeezy]”, refused to allow her and her security team to access the garage, where her items were stored.”

“The house manager continued to refuse to let [Jeannie] and her movers access the garage; in fact the house manager called [Jeezy], who again confirmed that [Jeannie] and her movers were not to access her items, disregarding the court order entirely,” the motion read.

“At this time, [Jeannie] called the Atlanta Police Department, who came to the property to gather a report on [Jeannie’s] denial of access. [Jeannie] as always was the consummate professional,” Jeannie’s lawyer wrote.

“The police were not called to make a scene but instead to report that the court order was being violated.”

To note, there is nothing in the court order that states any language regarding a nondisclosure agreement,” Jeannie’s lawyer wrote.

Jeannie said when she was allowed in the garage she saw her boxes had been damaged. She said Jeezy’s lawyer previously praised the rapper in court for the “condition in which he maintained” her belongings. Jeannie said her items, which carried “immeasurable personal value,” were left in disarray.

Jeannie said Jeezy had caused her to incur significant legal bills due to his refusal to abide by “any court order.” Jeannie denied she was “angry” and “revengeful” following the split.

Her lawyer wrote, “The only party that seems to be angry or revengeful is [Jeezy].” A judge has yet to rule on the back on forth.

As In Touch previously reported, back in September 2024, Jeannie filed a petition accusing Jeezy of contempt.

Jeannie accused Jeezy of failing to comply with certain terms of their divorce settlement. Specifically, she claimed he owed her money for daycare and rent expenses. Jeezy denied the accusations. He said it was “disheartening” that his ex would make such “blatant misrepresentations” in court. He claimed Jeannie had filed to provide proper receipts for expenses.

Jeannie Mai, co-host of The Real, found herself in a heated altercation with her ex-boyfriend Jeezy over property, leading her to call the police for assistance.

The couple, who recently announced their split, reportedly got into a disagreement over belongings that Jeezy had allegedly taken from their shared home without Mai’s consent. The argument escalated, prompting Mai to contact law enforcement for help in resolving the situation.

While details of the incident remain unclear, it serves as a reminder of the importance of clear communication and respect in a breakup, especially when it comes to dividing assets and belongings. Hopefully, both parties can find a peaceful resolution to their dispute and move forward in a positive manner.

  • Jeannie Mai Reportedly Calls the Police on Jeezy After Being Denied Entry to His Georgia Home

Jeannie Mai and Jeezy’s divorce may be finalized, but the former lovers are still very much at odds.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch Weekly, the commentator visited Jeezy’s Georgia home on December 9th, 2024, to collect personal belongings but had to call the Atlanta Police Department when she was denied access.

The “Trap or Die” star had previously packed his ex-wife’s items, including awards and personal effects, into boxes in his garage. While his lawyer claimed Jeezy was “perfectly fine” with Mai retrieving her things, he expressed concerns about her being in his home, citing fears of privacy invasion.

“[Jeannie] is angry about the parties’ divorce and she is revengeful,” Jeezy’s lawyer alleged, adding, “[Her presence] would absolutely destroy [Jeezy’s] peace and tranquility.”

Mai’s legal team refuted these claims, stating their client only sought to collect her belongings. Upon arrival, the former “The Real” host alleged Jeezy’s house manager refused entry despite prior confirmation. Police intervened, but further obstacles arose, including demands for Mai to sign a nondisclosure agreement.

When she finally accessed the garage, Mai claimed to have found her belongings damaged.

“[The] boxes were wet, with water having soaked through, damaging personal items,” her lawyer noted, adding that mouse traps had ruined some contents. The mom of one denied being vengeful, accusing Jeezy of contempt for violating court orders.

“The only party that seems to be angry or revengeful is [Jeezy],” her lawyer wrote.

The judge has yet to rule on the ongoing disputes. Neither Jeezy nor Mai have commented on the matter.
