    The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told E! News that she doesn’t think of herself as rich, despite receiving a piece of The Simpsons in her divorce settlement from series co-creator Sam Simon in 1991. Still, she acknowledged that many people who have seen her lavish lifestyle on display on the series might believe otherwise. 

    “I don’t think of myself as rich, but I guess I’m delusional because I do have several properties and a purse, apparently, that cost $33,000,” Tilly, 66, told the outlet. “But actually, it didn’t. It cost $22,000 — which, I’m just setting that straight right now.”

    In fact, the Chucky actress said she’s been trying to downplay the price points of some of her more expensive belongings on the show. “I actually did tell them I was wearing a bunch of Bvlgari bracelets and they’re like, ‘Ooh, Jennifer, how much are those? We’d like to put the price at the bottom,’” she recalled. “And I said no.”

    She also noted that others might not be aware that she owns a piece of the longest-running animated show. “It’s not a large piece,” Tilly clarified. “My boyfriend and I live very simply in a very small, cluttered house. And yes, there’s a giant house next door, but we don’t go there. So I guess we’re kind of delusional.”

    In the Dec. 3 episode of RHOBH, Tilly explained that she was married to Simon, who died from colon cancer in 2015, for seven years. “When we got divorced, I got a piece of The Simpsons in the divorce settlement,” she explained. “Nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years!”

    She added with a laugh, “Honestly, every day, I’m like, ‘Thank you Sam!’”

    Outside of her Simpsons settlement, Tilly has paid her own way as an Oscar-nominated actress whose credits include Bound, Monsters, Inc., and Bullets Over Broadway. However, she is perhaps best known for her role as murderous doll Tiffany Valentine in the Child’s Play franchise.

  • Florida children’s book author Jennifer Wolfthal, husband sentenced to prison for child abuse


    A Florida children’s author – known for penning stories about friendship – was charged alongside her husband for abusing and neglecting their adopted children, authorities said.

    Jennifer Wolfthal, the author of “A Real Friend,” and her husband, Joseph Wolfthal, an engineer for Lockheed Martin, pleaded guilty on Jan. 13 to aggravated child abuse and neglect of a child with great bodily harm, according to plea agreements obtained by Fox News Digital.

    Jennifer Wolfthal will be sentenced to 12 years in prison, while her husband will be sentenced to 10 years behind bars, according to the plea agreement.

    “This plea and sentencing agreement ensures that the Wolfthals will spend significant time in prison while it protects the already-traumatized victims from the stress of having to testify,” a spokesperson for the State Attorney’s Office in Florida’s 18th judicial circuit said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “The State Attorney’s office made sure law enforcement and the children’s new guardian supported this sentence before it agreed to it.”

    The investigation into the couple was launched in 2021 after their then 8-year-old adopted daughter was brought to the hospital with organ failure, unconscious and covered in injuries.

    The couple also had two other adopted children – a 9-year-old and 11-year-old.

    “Due to the height and weight of [the girl], it is not likely the swollen bruise on the back of her head and the laceration on her lip and broken tooth were caused by off balance falls,” the police report reads.

    While the girl was in the hospital, investigators visited the family home and said they found two other children with “symptoms of malnourishment, bruises and lack of care.”

    Police said the children’s bedrooms had their doorknobs installed backwards, with the locks on the outside.

    During additional searches of the home, authorities found more than 1,100 written paragraphs reading: “My body stays flat on the bed at all times. I was never given permission to move or say anything. Now I get to write about this along with everything else. I am a fool.”

    The book is still for sale on Amazon, but reviewers have been filling the comments with links to news articles about the allegations against the author.

    Authorities also shared that all three of the Wolfthals’ adopted children were subject to other horrifying tales of abuse. Following the investigation, the children were moved to live with another family.

    “Nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years,” Tilly said on the show. “So every day, honestly, every day I’m like, ‘Thank you, Sam!’” (Simon died in 2015 at the age of 59.)

    During the same episode, costar Erika Jayne pointed out that Tilly owned an extremely rare $33,000 Louis Vuitton handbag, which she said wasn’t exactly accurate.

    “Actually, it didn’t. It cost $33,000, which I’m just setting that straight right now,” Tilly told E! “They must have had some intern look it up. It’s very rare, maybe on the secondary market they jacked up the price, but I called my purse contact, and I said, ‘How much did I pay for that purse?’ She said, ‘$22,000.’”

    While the handbag price was slightly off, Tilly revealed that she does own four homes: three in California and one in Las Vegas.

    Even with all her properties, Tilly was adamant that she lives humbly with her boyfriend in a “very small, cluttered house.”

    The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told E! News that she doesn’t think of herself as rich, despite receiving a piece of The Simpsons in her divorce settlement from series co-creator Sam Simon in 1991. Still, she acknowledged that many people who have seen her lavish lifestyle on display on the series might believe otherwise.

    “I don’t think of myself as rich, but I guess I’m delusional because I do have several properties and a purse, apparently, that cost $33,000,” Tilly, 66, told the outlet. “But actually, it didn’t. It cost $22,000 — which, I’m just setting that straight right now.”

    In fact, the Chucky actress said she’s been trying to downplay the price points of some of her more expensive belongings on the show. “I actually did tell them I was wearing a bunch of Bvlgari bracelets and they’re like, ‘Ooh, Jennifer, how much are those? We’d like to put the price at the bottom,’” she recalled. “And I said no.”

    She also noted that others might not be aware that she owns a piece of the longest-running animated show. “It’s not a large piece,” Tilly clarified. “My boyfriend and I live very simply in a very small, cluttered house. And yes, there’s a giant house next door, but we don’t go there. So I guess we’re kind of delusional.”

    In the Dec. 3 episode of RHOBH, Tilly explained that she was married to Simon, who died from colon cancer in 2015, for seven years. “When we got divorced, I got a piece of The Simpsons in the divorce settlement,” she explained. “Nobody knew that The Simpsons was going to go on for trillions of years!”

    She added with a laugh, “Honestly, every day, I’m like, ‘Thank you Sam!’”

    And, if that wasn’t enough, Tilly is also a professional poker player and has won over $1 million in tournaments as of 2019.
