
BTS’s J-Hope has donated 100 million won ($68,000) to support the victims of the Jeju Air flight crash at Muan International Airport.
The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that J-Hope contributed 100 million won to aid those affected by the tragic accident at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province.
J-Hope reportedly stated, “Upon hearing about the accident, I decided to make this donation to offer even a small measure of support to the bereaved families. I extend my deepest condolences and sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.”
As a member of the “Hope Bridge Honors Club,” a group of high-value donors, J-Hope has consistently contributed during national disasters, including a donation of 100 million won for flood relief in 2023.
J-Hope completed his military service on Oct. 17, 2024, becoming the second BTS member to be discharged.
