  • Adam Scott jokes ‘Severance’ Season 2 goats were challenging

Get ready to frolic, “Severance” is revealing more about the goats.

Spoilers ahead for the third episode of “Severance” Season 2, “Who is Alive?”

“Severance” star Adam Scott told The Post that the third episode was tough to film, because the actors were really working with live goats.

“Britt [Lower] and I had a scene where we’re talking,” he said. “It’s like a serious scene between two people and no jokes… but every 10 or 15 seconds you had to shoo away a goat because they’re trying to eat your shoelaces or your pants.”

Scott added, “Gwendoline Christie was in that scene, too. That’s a scene where you had a difficulty keeping a straight face, because the baby goats wouldn’t stop trying to eat our clothing.”

Now in its second season, AppleTV’s mystery box sci-fi drama “Severance” (new episodes out on Fridays) follows four of the “severed” employees” at the mysterious company Lumon: Mark (Scott), Helly (Britt Lower), Irving (John Turturro) and Dylan (Zach Cherry), who all underwent a procedure to separate their memories of what they do at work as “innies” from their “outie” personas in the outside world.

They work in a bureaucratic nightmare office space — so one of the enduring mysteries of the show is why Mark and Helly stumbled on a man feeding baby goats in an office conference room in Season 1.

Scott also told the Post that he knows the answer to that plot question. “What’s up with the goats? And what is Lumon doing? Yeah, I think I know essentially the answers to those questions.”

The goat issue stuck out like a sore thumb in Season 1, since nobody expects to see farm animals in a sterile office environment. Viewers came up with theories about what it meant (“I’ve heard some of them,” Scott said, referring to fan theories on Reddit. “But I don’t jump in and really explore them myself”).

The goat mystery came back into the forefront this episode, when Mark and Helly finally find the goat department.

Within the office building, it’s a giant indoor space about the size of a football field, with grass, rolling hills, goats, and bizarre employees like “Game of Thrones” star Gwendoline Christie, who is hostile toward them, at first. One of her male colleagues is even dressed like a giant goat.

“Certainly walking into that room, it was amazing what they had put together there,” Scott recalled about filming the scene.

“We were shooting it and couldn’t believe we were in a room with goats and goat herders. Sarah Edwards, our costume designer, is incredible and really hit the bullseye with all of the people in ‘Mammalias Nurturable’ which is the department we visit.”

Adam Scott recently made an appearance on a late-night talk show and shared some behind-the-scenes anecdotes from filming the highly anticipated second season of the hit series “Severance.” One particular story had the audience in stitches as Scott recounted the challenges of working with goats on set.

According to Scott, there was a scene in Season 2 that required him to interact with a group of goats. However, things quickly took a hilarious turn when the goats proved to be quite stubborn and uncooperative. Scott joked that the goats were “more divas than most Hollywood actors” and that they constantly tried to upstage him during their scenes together.

Despite the challenges, Scott admitted that working with the goats was a memorable experience and that he had a newfound respect for the animals’ intelligence and craftiness. He even joked that the goats should receive their own spin-off series, titled “The G.O.A.T.”.

Fans of “Severance” are eagerly anticipating the release of Season 2, and with stories like these, it’s clear that the cast and crew had a lot of fun on set. Who knew that goats could be such scene-stealers?

  • Co-Worker Jokes That Man Skipped Work Because He Won the Lottery. Turns Out, He Really Did!

Election night was particularly special for one lottery player in Southern California.

Michael Chavez found out he won $1.2 million in the California Lottery Mega Millions on Nov. 5, 2024, after a co-worker joked to him about winning the draw, reported NBC4 Los Angeles and The Sacramento Bee.

“I actually woke up in the middle of the night to check the election results to see who won for president, not Mega Millions,” Chavez told the California Lottery, per the outlets.

“I went back to bed without looking at my ticket,” he added.

The next morning, Chavez texted work to say he would not be coming in that day — and a co-worker jokingly responded that it was because he’d won the lottery, NBC4 Los Angeles reported.

“He kidded me if the reason I wasn’t at work was because I had won the million,” Chavez reportedly said.

He added that his co-worker “even jokingly congratulated me” and sent him a screenshot of the Mega Millions results via text, per NBC4 Los Angeles.

Chavez finally decided to check his lottery ticket and then discovered that he’d matched five out of the six winning numbers — winning him a prize of $1,214,818, according to the outlet.

“I could not believe my eyes,” the lucky winner reportedly said. “I’m so excited and extremely grateful.”

Chavez credited his co-worker for reminding him to check his winning lottery ticket, which he purchased at a Lake Liquor store in Lakewood, a 20-mile drive southeast from Los Angeles, per The Sacramento Bee.

The store received a bonus of over $6,000 for selling the winning ticket, KTLA reported.

“I’ll never forget election night or especially that text,” said Chavez, per NBC4 Los Angeles.

Have you ever had a co-worker joke that someone skipped work because they won the lottery? Well, that’s exactly what happened at our office last week – and it turns out, it was actually true!

We all laughed when our colleague, Steve, called out sick and someone joked that he must have won the lottery and was off living the high life. Little did we know, that was exactly the case.

A few days later, Steve showed up to work looking a little more relaxed than usual. When we asked him how his sick day was, he casually mentioned that he had actually won a substantial amount of money playing the lottery and decided to take a day off to process everything.

Needless to say, we were all shocked and amazed by the news. It just goes to show, you never know what surprises your co-workers might have up their sleeves. Who knows, maybe one of us will be the next lucky winner!

  • Adam Levine Jokes About the Prior ‘Chaotic Environment’ With Blake Shelton as He Returns to ‘The Voice’

Adam Levine is officially returning to The Voice, six years after he departed the show in 2019, and Billboard caught up with the season 27 judges ahead of the premiere.

“It used to get so ugly. You guys don’t even know. We used to scream over each other,” Levine playfully told his fellow coaches — John Legend, Michael Bublé and newcomer Kelsea Ballerini. “I have realized through this process, which has become therapy of some sort, that I was in such a chaotic environment. Me and Blake [Shelton] were slinging hate at each other. Everyone’s yelling and screaming. It was so different. I wouldn’t be able to stomach or handle that at this point. This is the perfect place, I’m in the right place. This is a safe space.

    More from Billboard

“He brings up Blake at least once a day,” Ballerini joked, referencing the well-known “bromance” between Levine and Shelton, who were both OG coaches on The Voice when it premiered in 2011. Shelton ultimately left the show in 2023, narrowly missing his reunion with the Maroon 5 frontman.

Elsewhere in the conversation, the coaches rejoiced over the addition of Ballerini, who arrives as a first-time coach but previously served as season 16 battle advisor and filled in as coach during season 20, both instances for Team Kelly Clarkson.

The Voice season 27 premieres Monday, Feb. 3 on NBC. Watch Billboard‘s chat with the coaches above.

Adam Levine recently made his highly-anticipated return to “The Voice” after a two-season hiatus, and he wasted no time in addressing the dynamic between him and his longtime frenemy, Blake Shelton.

During the season premiere, Levine joked about the prior “chaotic environment” that existed between him and Shelton, poking fun at their infamous on-screen banter and rivalry.

“It’s good to be back, but I have to say, it’s nice to have a break from the chaotic environment that was constantly being around Blake,” Levine quipped, eliciting laughter from the audience.

The two coaches have a history of playful teasing and friendly competition on the show, with Shelton often making fun of Levine’s fashion choices and Levine firing back with witty comebacks.

Despite their antics, it’s clear that Levine and Shelton have a deep bond and mutual respect for each other, making their dynamic a fan-favorite aspect of the show.

As Levine settles back into his red chair, fans can expect more hilarious moments and entertaining interactions between the two coaches as they navigate another season of “The Voice.”

  • Tyler Bilodeau injury update: Mick Cronin jokes about UCLA forward’s desire to play through pain

The UCLA Bruins were able to earn a road win against the Washington Huskies . However, along the way, it appeared head coach Mick Cronin also saw his Bruins team suffer a loss when forward Tyler Bilodeau went down with an injury.

Cronin explained following the game that Bilodeau turned his ankle and while he wanted to play through it, that wouldn’t have been the smart long-term decision for the Bruins. So, while joking about his toughness, Cronin explained why he was limited later in the game.

CLICK HERE to go to PrizePicks and use code ON3 to receive a guaranteed $50 once you play $5 in lineups!

“I didn’t like the way he was moving,” Mick Cronin said . “It’s hard for me to get a lot of info and it’s hard for a trainer to really assess things on the fly like that. He turned his ankle. So, you’re basically just looking — a kid like him, he’s going to say he wants to play. You could hit him in the head with a bat and He’s gonna says, ‘I want to play.’”

For the game, Tyler Bilodeau was unable to get a score in just three minutes played. That came after he played 31 minutes against Wisconsin in their previous game. For the season, he’s averaging 13.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while shooting 50.5 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from three-point range. That’s while averaging 26.9 minutes per game this season.

Moving forward, Mick Cronin knows what Tyler Bilodeau is going to be important for UCLA. So, it was better for the one game to trust the team’s depth and not risk a worse injury.

“When he said he wanted to play, I put him in but I didn’t like the way he was moving. I’m more worried about his career and the rest of our season,” Cronin said.

“Like I told the team, we’ve got enough players. I’ve got confidence in you guys. We just got to care. My tirade about caring, if we act like we care, we won’t make mistakes, we’ll play smart. You’ve got to care. We’ve been an A+ in caring and mental — you can tell when a team cares.”

UCLA ended up beating Washington 65-60. Four different Bruins scored in double digits for the game. The major difference in the game ended up being three-point shooting, with UCLA making 52.9 percent from distance compared to just 22.7 percent from Washington.

Now, Cronin and the Bruins will turn their attention to the USC Trojans . That game is coming quickly on Tuesday night.

The post Tyler Bilodeau injury update: Mick Cronin jokes about UCLA forward’s desire to play through pain appeared first on On3 .

UCLA forward Tyler Bilodeau has been battling through a nagging injury, but head coach Mick Cronin isn’t surprised by his determination to play through the pain.

During a recent press conference, Cronin joked about Bilodeau’s toughness, saying, “Tyler is a warrior. He would probably play with a broken leg if we let him. But don’t worry, we won’t be putting him out there with any serious injuries.”

Bilodeau has been a key player for the Bruins this season, averaging double-digit points and rebounds per game. Despite his injury, he has continued to contribute on both ends of the court and is determined to help lead UCLA to success.

Fans can expect to see Bilodeau continue to push through the pain and give it his all on the court, as he is truly a warrior in every sense of the word.
