Simone Biles reacts as her husband Jonathan Owens and other family members volunteer during eponymous Biles International Invitational 2025
Simone Biles took pride in her family coming out to volunteer at her eponymous event, the Biles International Invitational. The eighth annual edition of the event from January 31 to February 2 already hosted the Glow Party at the World Champions Center, Texas.
Biles, who had a successful Paris Olympic campaign, winning three gold medals and a silver, performed in a 30-city Gold Over America tour from September to November. She then celebrated the holidays with her husband at the NFL field, cheering on the latter during the NFL season.

Simone Biles ‘Obsessed’ With Baby Biles While Jonathan Owens Takes New Role To Help Make Her Gymnastics Competition a Success
Last year before the Olympics Simone Biles shared a photo of her niece Ronni dressed in a replica of her aunt’s black leotard from the 2023 Xfinity Gymnastics Championships. The Olympic champion introduced her as the “WCC’s newest elite team member,” and since then the aptly named Baby Biles has become somewhat of a regular at the World Champions Centre as she looks to follow in the footsteps of the GOAT.
Last October, we saw a video of her jumping around enthusiastically, climbing mats, and balancing herself on the trampoline, at Biles’ family-owned gym in Spring, Texas. Previously at the center, she has been spotted wearing a GK leotard as she tried to ace a floor routine like her TT. During the Paris Olympics, Ronni also wore an adorable mini-version of Biles’ red, white, and blue leotard, adorned with silver stars.
So, it is no surprise as the Simone Biles Invitational returned to the World Championships Center this season, Ronni was once again with her gymnast aunt, this time in another cute outfit.

After wrapping up a successful Paris Olympics, the Gold Over America Tour, and supporting her husband Jonathan Owens’ NFL season, Simone Biles has finally come down home, to Houston, for a generous stretch. But, she’s still not retreated into rest mode. Instead, she’s making the most of her time, and her latest actions prove it. After all, she has multiple things in the pipeline like finalizing details on her new house and, of course, hosting the 8th annual Simone Biles Invitational.
Ronnie was present at the Biles Invitational in a World Championship Center-themed tracksuit and her aunt couldn’t stop but gush over her cuteness. Taking to Instagram, she shared a story of the toddler looking at her and added the caption, “Miss girl is soooo cute. ms. ronni biles.” In another story, she also swooned over the fact that “baby sized stuff just looks so much cuter! I’m obsessed.”
Baby Biles seems to follow her aunt wherever she goes, cheering her on from Paris to her homecoming in Houston for the Gold Over America Tour. Hoisted on her mother’s shoulders she yelled “TT go, TT go,” as they made their way to the Toyota Center last October during the Tour. But it’s her early adventures on the mat that have turned a lot of heads.
Last year, the two-year-old was captured in a video by her mother Sammi Biles, as she played around at the facility donning a mini Team USA leotard and a red bow. She made it across different stages from the mat to jumping onto the foam pit cubes, all by herself, drawing encouragement from her mother who said, “See you did it, good job!” Meanwhile, Simone Biles also shared a glimpse of the supporters from her family who had turned up to volunteer at the Invitational which was scheduled from January 31 to February 2.
She shared a small snippet on her IG Story of a row of people including her husband, Jonathan Owens, seated and volunteering at the meet. And guess what? All of her tribe members were donning custom-made Simone Biles Invitational t-shirts. No wonder she captioned the story, “family that volunteers your competition [cry & heart emoji].”
Well, this hardly surprises us as we’ve seen Owens being Simone Biles’ rock all through. From flying to Paris to boost her morale at the Olympics and to surprising her in a Milwaukee hotel during the GOAT Tour, Owens hasn’t been shy in showing his love for Biles.
While Biles cherishes moments with baby Biles, Ronnie, she confirmed plans of having kids of her own in the future. Talking on the Today Show after the Paris Olympics she mentioned, “Me and Jonathan always talk about kids. He would have them, like, yesterday if he could have. Obviously, we both have goals that we want to achieve before we start a family. But yes, that’s definitely in our future.”

Well, motherhood can still be some time away for Biles, but she continues to be an inspiration to the young generation. Recently, a 3-year-old toddler pleasantly surprised Simone Biles in another adorable interaction.
Simone Biles’ new fan is adorable
On the first day of the meet, Biles shared an adorable clip of her 3-year-old fan, Sloan, who was dialing Biles on her toy phone. She was saying, “I have a balance beam for Christmas, Sibone Miles. What? You’ve a balance beam for Christmas. Awww..” The little one looked absolutely obsessed with Biles!

The veteran gymnast even met the toddler and shared the story on her IG.”“My heart [emoji] I got to meet sweet Sloan today!!!! she did her sassy [emoji] pose w/me! so adorable! DAY MADE,” she wrote.
We are sure there will be many such moments to come and more with Ronnie Biles as well. Simone Biles has inspired a legion of young fans and it looks like their love for her isn’t going away anytime soon.
Simone Biles, the Olympic gold medalist gymnast, has recently revealed that she is “obsessed” with her new puppy, Baby Biles. The adorable furry friend has quickly become a beloved member of Biles’ family and has been stealing the spotlight on social media. But while Baby Biles may be getting all the attention, Biles is still focused on her gymnastics career and is working hard to prepare for her upcoming competitions. To help her succeed, her boyfriend Jonathan Owens, who is a professional football player, has taken on a new role in supporting her training and competition preparations.
Owens has been by Biles’ side every step of the way, offering encouragement, motivation, and assistance in any way he can. Biles has expressed her gratitude for his unwavering support and dedication to helping her achieve her goals in gymnastics.
With Baby Biles providing some much-needed joy and positivity in her life, and Owens stepping up to help make her gymnastics competition a success, Biles is feeling more motivated and determined than ever to continue making her mark in the world of gymnastics.

The trailer opens with Majors’ character saying in voiceover, “You have to do something big and important for people to remember you when you’re dead.”
What follows are scenes of his aspiring bodybuilder juggling a part-time grocery job, court-mandated therapy and the care of his ailing veteran grandfather, all of which serve to forward that initial line’s blend of themes that include massive ambition, self-hate and death.
Magazine Dreams, from writer-director Elijah Bynum, premiered at Sundance on January 20, 2023, where Majors’ performance garnered critical acclaim and a standing ovation. Searchlight acquired the hot title last year out of Park City for an estimated seven figures. The film also features Taylour Paige, Elijah Bynum and Haley Bennett.
Following Majors’ conviction on assault and harassment charges related to his relationship with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, Searchlight Pictures dropped the film in which he portrays an emotionally disturbed aspiring bodybuilder. Tom Ortenberg’s Briarcliff Entertainment stepped in last month and has set a March 21, 2025 release.
Majors delivers a powerful performance in the titular role as Killian Maddox, an aspiring bodybuilder juggling a part-time grocery job, court-mandated therapy and the care of his ailing veteran grandfather. His dreams of bodybuilding glory are threatened by his volatile temper as well as the physical toll his extreme training takes on his body.
Zeus Network is Briarcliff’s marketing partner for Magazine Dreams.
The film is produced by Jennifer Fox, Dan Gilroy, Jeffrey Soros and Simon Horsman. Executive producers include Majors for his Tall Street Productions, and Luke Rodgers and Andrew Blau for Los Angeles Media Fund. Also executive producing are Lemuel Plummer, LJ Plummer and Jason Tolbert.

‘Magazine Dreams’ trailer reveals long-delayed Jonathan Majors movie (exclusive)
Jonathan Majors plays an amateur bodybuilder who struggles to find human connection in the trailer for Magazine Dreams, the long-delayed drama from writer-director Elijah Bynum.
Entertainment Weekly can share an exclusive first look at the sports drama above, which stars Majors as the isolated and oftentimes volatile Killian Maddox. He dreams of becoming the type of world-famous bodybuilder who graces fitness magazines, pushing himself to the brink in a self-destructive pursuit of greatness. “You have to do something big and important, or no one will remember you when you’re dead,” Killian says in the trailer.
As Killian “battles both the limits of his physical body and his own inner demons,” per the official synopsis, the film mines the “lengths one man will go in his haunting quest for recognition in a world that often overlooks him.”

The film stars Harrison Page as Killian’s ailing veteran grandfather whom he cares for, as well as Haley Bennett, Taylour Paige, and bodybuilder Mike O’Hearn. It premiered to critical acclaim at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and won its U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award, leading to a bidding war before Searchlight nabbed distribution rights.
But Searchlight dropped the feature, and it remained in limbo for about a year after Majors was convicted in 2023 of domestic assault and harassment against ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, who accused the actor of attacking her in the back of a car in Manhattan. He was given probation and ordered to attend 52 weeks of a domestic violence intervention program. Majors, considered a rising star, was dropped from a number of projects following his conviction, including by Disney and Marvel, after having made his big debut as villain Kang the Conquerer.

Briarcliff Entertainment ultimately acquired Magazine Dreams last year. The film is now slated for a March 21 theatrical release. The company’s most recent release includes the controversial Donald Trump biopic The Apprentice, which just last week earned star Sebastian Stan his first-ever Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of the future president and convicted felon during his younger years.
“Magazine Dreams is a visceral experience that challenges the perceptions of ambition and identity,” said Briarcliff CEO Tom Ortenberg. “Elijah’s film made a well-deserved splash in Sundance, and Briarcliff is looking forward to taking his story to the big screen across the country in early 2025.”

Warriors injury news: Jonathan Kuminga out at least 2 more weeks
The Golden State Warriors have been hurting for offense, and unfortunately they won’t be getting a quick fix anytime soon. During their Monday off-day, the Warriors released an injury update on fourth-year forward Jonathan Kuminga, who has been sidelined since spraining his right ankle in a win over the Memphis Grizzlies on January 4.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t the update that we were all hoping for, though there was some good news in it. The team announced that Kuminga “is making good progress” and is “expected to begin light on-court individual workouts in the next week,” but the timeline isn’t looking great. The Warriors say that Kuminga will be re-evaluated in two weeks, which brings us to February 10. Given that Golden State’s final game before the All-Star break is a February 13 visit to the Houston Rockets, it seems likely that we won’t see Kuminga until after the midseason break. If I had to guess, I’d say that their first game out of the break — a February 21 road rivalry game with the Sacramento Kings — is the most likely time for Kuminga to make his return.
None of this is surprising after coach Steve Kerr revealed recently that Kuminga was “nowhere close” to being ready for a return. But that doesn’t make it hurt any less. At the conclusion of that win over Memphis where Kuminga was injured, the Warriors were 18-16 with a garbage-time adjusted offensive rating of 111.9 and a defensive rating of 110.5. Since then, they’ve gone a dismal 4-7, with an offensive rating of 112.1 and an abysmal defensive rating of 120.0.
Not all of that is due to Kuminga, of course, but he had pretty firmly evolved into one of the team’s best players, and his absence is sorely felt. While there was some speculation early in the year that the Warriors might look to trade Kuminga ahead of his restricted free agency, the combination of his improved play and his injury make it very unlikely that he’ll be shipped before the February 6 trade deadline.
The Golden State Warriors have announced that rookie forward Jonathan Kuminga will be out for at least 2 more weeks due to a knee injury. Kuminga, who has shown great promise in his first NBA season, has been sidelined since early February with the injury.Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expressed disappointment over the news, stating that Kuminga’s absence will be felt on both ends of the court. However, Kerr also emphasized the importance of taking a cautious approach with the young player’s recovery to ensure he is fully healthy before returning to action.
Fans of the Warriors will have to wait a little longer to see Kuminga back on the court, but the team remains optimistic about his future with the franchise. In the meantime, the Warriors will continue to rely on their depth and versatility to weather the storm until Kuminga is able to make his return.
