Trendyol Süper Lig‘in 22. haftasında Çaykur Rizespor’u konuk eden Fenerbahçe‘nin teknik direktör Jose Mourinho, son oynadıkları Midtjylland maçının ilk 11’ine göre kadrosunda 6 değişikliğe gitti.Deneyimli teknik adam, Ülker Stadı’nda oynanan karşılaşmada Avrupa’da ilk 11’de görev verdiği Alexander Djiku, Çağlar Söyüncü, Yusuf Akçiçek, İsmail Yüksek, Mert Hakan Yandaş ve Dusan Tadic’i yedek soyundurdu.
Portekizli çalıştırıcı, bu isimlerin yerine yeni transferler Diego Carlos ve Milan Skriniar’ın yanı sıra Levent Mercan, Sofyan Amrabat, Oğuz Aydın ve Filip Kostic’i karşılaşmaya ilk 11’de başlattı.
62 yaşındaki çalıştırıcı, Çaykur Rizespor karşısında kalede İrfan Can Eğribayat’ı görevlendirirken, üçlü savunmasını Diego Carlos, Milan Skriniar ve Levent Mercan’dan kurdu.

The “OMG” era could be over.
On Friday, the New York Mets signed infielder Nick Madrigal to a major-league deal, according to The New York Post’s Joel Sherman. Madrigal conceivably fills the spot occupied by Jose Iglesias last season as a backup at second base and third base.
BUY METS TICKETS: STUBHUB, VIVID SEATS, TICKETMASTER
Madrigal had the worst season of his professional career last year with the Chicago Cubs. He hit .221 with a .535 OPS and no home runs in 51 games and 94 plate appearances at the major-league level and was demoted to Triple-A, where he suffered a broken hand in his first game there.
Madrigal, 27, was the No. 4 overall pick of the Chicago White Sox in 2018. The light-hitting infielder has four home runs and an 86 OPS+ in his career, which spans five seasons and 285 games. He has a career 9% strikeout rate, which is among the best in the majors.
He’s a younger (by more than seven years) version of Iglesias, who became a fan favorite and an important clubhouse piece in 2024. Iglesias’ “OMG” song became a hit last season. Not only did it play every time Iglesias, who recorded it under his performer name Candelita, came up to bat, but it also blared each time a Mets player hit a home run. The dugout and stands were full of “OMG” signs, too.
Iglesias had one of the best stretches of his career with the Mets, posting a .337.381/.830 line with four home runs and 26 RBIs in 85 regular-season games and 270 plate appearances. He had 10 hits in 46 playoff plate appearances.

Sharks at Kraken picks and predictions
Prediction
Sharks 4, Kraken 3
Moneyline
The SHARKS (+165) are a strong play on the road against the Kraken (-200), as San Jose has picked up 3 victories in a row in this series. For whatever reason, the Sharks just seem to have the number of the Kraken. And, San Jose skates in with a little momentum after picking up a 2-1 victory against Pittsburgh last time out.
Puck line/Against the spread
If you can’t bring yourself to back the SHARKS +1.5 (-140) straight up, they’re not priced out of line if you’d like a little bit of insurance.
San Jose has covered 2 of the past 3 games as an underdog on the puck line, while posting a respectable 17-13 in the past 30 as a ‘dog since Nov. 25.
Over/Under
OVER 6 (-110) is worth playing lightly in this Pacific Division battle.
The Over has cashed at a 6-4-1 clip in the past 11 games for the Kraken, while also hitting in the first 2 meetings this season.
For the Sharks, the Under cashed last time out against the Penguins, but the Over is on a 4-1 run in the past 5 outings since Jan. 20.

Men’s Hoops at Viejas Arena on Tuesday Night Hosting San Jose State
SAN DIEGO – The San Diego State men’s basketball program, coming off a sweep of a two-game road trip, opens a two-game homestand on Tuesday night against San Jose State at Steve Fisher Court at Viejas Arena, a facility at which the Aztecs have never lost to the Spartans.
OFF THE BOUNCE
The San Diego State men’s basketball team returns to Steve Fisher Court at Viejas Arena for the first of two home games facing San Jose State on Tuesday at 7:40 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast on FS1.The Aztecs and Spartans are meeting for the 85th time, with SDSU holding a 49-35 advantage in the all-time series. In the Mountain West era, SDSU has a 19-1 lead in the series, is 33-8 in San Diego overall, and a robust 13-0 at Steve Fisher Court.
With television not making things easy on the Aztecs, Tuesday’s game will be the third of four games over an 11-day stretch, which began last Wednesday night at Air Force (Jan. 22), continued at Nevada on Saturday (Jan. 22), and now home tonight for San Jose State and concluding on Saturday with Wyoming at Viejas Arena. So far SDSU is 2-0 in this four game stretch.
For just the 25th time in their last 502 games (since the start of the 2010-11 campaign), the Aztecs will don their red uniforms. The team is 2-0 this season in Scarlet, having worn them in a 74-57 victory at Steve Fisher Court on December 7, 2024, and last Wednesday’s 77-76 overtime win at Air Force. Since Coach Dutcher took the reins of the program, SDSU is 4-0 in the kit and since the start of the 2010-11 season it is 19-5 in the color.
How rare was San Diego State’s 68-76 loss on January 18 to UNLV, a Quad 3 defeat? Until that night, it had been 65 games or 1,792 days since the Aztecs had lost to either a Quad 3 or Quad 4 opponent. The last Quad 3 or Quad 4 team to defeat SDSU was Quad 3-UNLV on February 22, 2020, which halted that year’s longest win-streak to open the year, 26 games, and was the only loss the Aztecs suffered in the regular season.
Halfway through the season, San Diego State is once again trending as one of the nation’s best in defense. After the games of January 25, according to KenPom, the Aztecs are No. 2 in block percentage, No. 5 in 3-point percentage defense, No. 6 in effective field goal percentage defense, No. 8 in adjusted defensive efficiency and No. 11 2-point percentage defense.
Since the start of the 2017-18 season, when Brian Dutcher took the helm of the San Diego State program, he has the No. 5 best win percentage in the nation (190-63, 75.1 percent) and since the start of the 2019-20 campaign his Aztecs are 147-39 (79.0 percent), the third best record in the country.
In the Aztecs win over Colorado State (Jan. 14) sophomore Miles Byrd scored a career-high 25 points, including five 3-pointers, grabbed six rebounds and had seven steals. He is the first player in Mountain West history to have a game with those numbers and just the third in the nation in the last 16 years.
In its 18 Division I games, San Diego State has held nine opponents to their worst shooting game of the season and three had their 2nd worst field goal percentage games.
San Diego State is No. 1 in the Mountain West and No. 3 in the nation in field goal percentage defense at 36.3 percent, and is one of two programs in the nation, also Tennessee, that is limiting opponents to a combined maximum of 36.3 percent from the floor and 28.1 percent from beyond the arc. In field goal percentage defense, San Diego State is No. 3 and Tennessee is No. 2 and in three-point field goal percentage defense Tennessee is No. 1and the Aztecs are No. 7.
With the Aztecs 69-50 win over Nevada (Jan. 25), San Diego State is 98-7 in the Brian Dutcher era, when it limits its opponent to 60 or fewer points. Overall, the Aztecs have won 32 straight when holding the opposition to 60 points or less and are 105-8 in its last 113 in the category.
In San Diego State’s last 10 wins it shot .440 from the field, including .330 from the bonus distance, and averaged 74.9 points per game, with an average margin of victory of 15.3 points. Defensively, in those games, the team limited its opponents to a .346 shooting percentage, including .259 from beyond the arc and for the season has limited the opposition to 36.3 percent shooting overall, which ranks No. 3 nationally.
The Aztecs have held 10 of their 17 Division I opponents to less than 40 percent shooting, seven games of less than 35.0 percent and three under 30.0 percent. SDSU limited California to just 25.5 percent shooting on Dec. 21, the third lowest opponent field goal percentage shooting night in the Brian Dutcher era.
In the team’s 73-70 overtime win against No. 6 Houston, the Aztecs overcame both a 5-point halftime deficit and trailed by 11-point with 14:58 to play to send the game to overtime and ultimately its 3-point win. The victory was Brian Dutcher’s 15th win in 26 games against top 25 opponents. Dutcher is the only head coach in program history with a winning record against ranked teams and it was the program’s first win against a top-10 team since a 71-64 victory over No. 1 Alabama in the Sweet 16 of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
San Diego State, which in 2023-24 reached the Mountain West Tournament championship game for the seventh time in head coach Brian Dutcher’s seven seasons, looks for its unprecedented 17th Mountain West men’s basketball title. Entering the 2024-25 season, San Diego State has won nine regular season and seven Mountain West tournament titles, the most of any program that has ever been a member of the league.
Brian Dutcher is in his eighth season as San Diego State’s head coach and his 26th season on the Aztec sidelines. In his seven-plus seasons as head coach, he has led the Aztecs to five conference titles, seven Mountain West championship game appearances, a 190-63 overall record and 98-35 mark in league games, both league leading in that time frame, has been named the national coach of the year, twice the Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year and led this team to back-to-back Sweet 16s including a run to the 2023 NCAA national championship game.

The Penguins continue their season-long seven-game road trip spanning a total of 15 days. It’s the longest road trip for Pittsburgh since their eight-game road swing nearly 30 years ago from Oct. 14-28, 1997 (NYR-MTL-TBL-FLA-SJS-EDM-VAN-CGY).
Tonight, Erik Karlsson faces the team that hosted his talents for five seasons from 2018-23. In 293 games with the Sharks, Karlsson recorded 243 points (52G-191A) and led all Sharks defensemen in goals, assists and points. During his tenure in San Jose, Karlsson ranked first in assists, sixth in goals and fourth in points. Rust has played some of the best hockey of his career against the San Jose Sharks. In 13 career games versus them, Rust has recorded eight goals, eight assists, 16 points and is plus-nine. Rust’s 1.23 points-per-game average versus the Sharks is his second-highest average versus any one team. Rust has 11 points (6G-5A) in his last six games against the Sharks.
Michael Bunting has been a force on Pittsburgh’s sixth-ranked power play this year. He leads the club with nine power-play goals, which is tied for sixth in the NHL. Bunting’s next power-play tally will make him just the seventh Penguin in the last 10 years to have 10-plus power-play goals in a season.
Kevin Hayes has picked up five points in 12 games (4G-1A) since returning to the lineup on a regular basis on Jan. 3. During that span, only Rickard Rakell has more goals on Pittsburgh.

#Jose #Mourinho #Göztepe #maçında #tribündeJose Altuve willing to move to left field
HOUSTON — A reunion with free-agent third baseman Alex Bregman would be met with overwhelming approval in the Astros’ clubhouse. It would also give Houston an abundance of infielders and force the Astros to get creative on defensive positioning.
So much so that the team has discussed moving 5-foot-6 second baseman Jose Altuve to … left field.
In a move that would be reminiscent of when Hall of Fame second baseman Craig Biggio played two years in the outfield to accommodate Jeff Kent, switching Altuve to left field at 34 years old would be as stunning as it would be unconventional. And Altuve appears to be on board with it.
“We haven’t talked about it, but for Alex I’d do whatever,” Altuve said Saturday. “Like I said, he’s one of the best players in the whole league, but definitely one of the best players on this team. We want him to stay, and whatever I have to do for him to stay I’m willing to do it.”
The Astros currently have Christian Walker (signed to a three-year deal in December) at first base, Altuve at second, Jeremy Peña at shortstop and Isaac Paredes at third base. Paredes, who was one of three players Houston acquired in the December deal that sent All-Star right fielder Kyle Tucker to the Cubs, could play second base if Altuve switches to the outfield.
“Ultimately, if you get Bregman back, he would play third base,” Brown said. “Then you would kind of work through ‘OK, what should we do to adjust and make that happen?’ It’s a long shot, but it’s conversations you have.”
Astros manager Joe Espada said Altuve is the ultimate team player.
“I respect his willingness to do whatever it takes,” he said. “We had conversations about what our lineup would be like if we bring Alex back, and I’m confident we could get it done if he chooses to come back to the Astros.”
Altuve has never played the outfield, but there’s belief in the organization that he’s athletic enough to cover ground in left field, especially at Daikin Park, where left field is 315 feet down the line. In addition to losing Tucker in a trade to the Cubs, the Astros want to drastically limit designated hitter Yordan Alvarez’s time in left field.
“He’s so athletic, and he can do some things on the baseball field that a lot of people can’t do,” Espada said of Altuve. “If we get there, we’ll have that conversation with him. He wants to do whatever it takes to win. It’s important to us. I think he’s a cornerstone on this team. He’s the heart of the organization. He understands that, but when we get to that point, we’ll have that conversation with him.”
Added Altuve: “We have a better chance to win a championship with [Bregman]. I’m willing to do whatever for him to stay.”
Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve has expressed his willingness to make a position change in order to help his team succeed. According to reports, Altuve is open to moving to left field if it means the Astros can field their best possible lineup.Altuve, a six-time All-Star and former American League MVP, has spent his entire career at second base. However, with the Astros having a surplus of infielders and a need for outfield help, Altuve is willing to make the switch for the good of the team.
This selfless attitude and team-first mentality is just one of the many reasons why Altuve is considered a leader in the Astros clubhouse. His willingness to do whatever it takes to help his team win is truly admirable and sets a great example for his teammates.
Astros fans can rest assured knowing that Altuve’s versatility and willingness to adapt will only make the team stronger in the long run. Whether he’s playing second base or left field, Altuve’s talent and dedication to the game will shine through.
