Julia Fox Wears Nothing but Makeup on the Subway in New Mac Campaig

Who needs clothes when you have a full beat? Not Julia Fox. The mother, author, and actress extraordinaire just went fully sans clothes while riding the New York City subway. All for a good cause, of course.

In MAC’s latest viral campaign, Fox wears nothing but a stunning glam look that featured a lavender-gray smoky eye with a shimmery inner corner, smudged liner, and white shadow along her bleached brows. Fringed lashes, bottom liner, and drawn-on bottom lashes completed the eye look, which she complemented with rosy cheeks and a beige-pink lip. Her platinum blonde hair had purple low lights and was styled in pin curls. From her shoulders down, Fox went fully nude with two red censor bars strategically placed that read “I only wear” and “MAC.”

The photo was aptly a part of the brand’s new nude lip stick campaign. According to Stylecaster, Fox wore the Mac Lip Liner in Stone and Acting Natural Lipstick. The head-turning photo shoot also starred Martha Stewart, Beabadoobee, Odell Beckham Jr., and Tiffany Pollard. In a video for the campaign, Fox sits in a bench on a subway platform while shaking a MAC Magic Eight Ball. “Do I hate men,” she starts. “I don’t even need to ask the Eight ball that.”

She went on to ask the fortune-telling toy another question. “Will I ever leak my nudes or launch an OF [Only Fans] page?” she asked. “Come on, bitch. You know the answer.” The Eight Ball then answered “Most likely,” to which she responded, “Knows me so well! Is this rigged?”

The star is no stranger to bold beauty looks or risqué outfits. Just last week, Fox appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live! in a leather corset, skinny arched brows, and the biggest hair bow, ever.

If there’s one person you can rely on to take part in an OMG beauty campaign, it’s Julia Fox. Which is why we’re not entirely surprised she’s been photographed to promote MAC Cosmetics’ new nude lipsticks—posing entirely “naked” on the New York subway.

The campaign, which is titled “I only wear MAC,” features a whole host of cultural icons, including Tiffany Pollard, Beabadoobee, Martha Stewart, and Julia, stripping down to show off various lipsticks. In Julia’s campaign, the actress and model is seen holding onto the subway train pole with tight pin curls in her pink rinsed hair, looking directly to camera.

She has heavy eye make-up on and a strong nude lip, made using MACximal Silky Matte Lipstick in Acting Natural and a lip pencil in shade Stone. “Seeing @juliafox only wear M·A·C on the subway wasn’t even the craziest thing I saw on my commute,” the brand wrote to their 24million followers.

Talking about why she chose to work in Wolf Man, Garner stated, “I saw a bit of it…the testing pics from before. It’s already a supernatural story. I really loved the humility of it all. Julia Garner reveals all she knows about the status of the Madonna movie she is supposed to star in

Julia Garner made an appearance on the Today show on Wednesday, where she talked up her new film Wolf Man.

She was also asked about Madonna biopic rumors.

The 30-year-old Golden Globe-winning actress joined the morning program in a sleeveless, emerald green jumpsuit.

And her bottle-blonde crop of curly locks were set in her signature pixie style, reminiscent of the 66-year-old pop star’s trademark 1990s look.

Pressed by reporter Craig Melvin, Garner recalled joining Madonna in December 2023 during her Celebration tour.

‘We had fun on stage!’ she remembered while playing coy about the singer’s paused biopic, for which she was once intended to play the main character.

‘It was amazing. She’s amazing. It was an incredible experience,’ the Ozark star gushed while skirting the question of whether or not she is still working on the movie.

As Melvin continued to pry about biopic details, she quipped, ‘I mean, you know as much as I do,’ before hinting that there could be more details in the future.

‘Maybe next time, when I come back,’ she teased before heading to Live! with Kelly and Mark as she continued her press day.

Madonna has been persistent in her years-long effort to have a movie about her life made.

In 2023 she got to work on a biopic called Who’s That Girl, a nod to her 1987 film and song of the same name.

The film was initially developed with Diablo Cody on board as co-writer of the screenplay, which was then titled Little Sparrow.

However, the hitmaker pivoted her focus to zero in on her international Celebration tour.

Then, last year the Michigan native penned most of the film with Erin Cressida Wilson, and eyed Garner to portray her.

The renowned performer noted she had ‘been working on it for 4 years,’ with people insisting that she should ‘downsize, down scale, think smaller.’

The lengthy caption continued, ‘No easy rides for me. I guess I should be grateful.. It forces me to think outside the box. I did not have a normal life. I cannot make this in the normal way.’

But she explained that she felt a sense of renewed motivation after spending time with loved ones: ‘Spending time with my creative friends was just the fuel I needed to keep going!

‘We all agreed that we need to be even more fearless!!! Art =Survival We cannot shrink and make ourselves smaller. If you want something badly enough in life, the whole universe will conspire to help you get it.’

She then turned to her nearly 20 million followers to ask: ‘Should I make the story of my life into a series or a feature film?’

Vanessa Carlton and Julia Stiles Met 30 Years Ago in ‘9th Grade’ (Exclusive)

It was just an ordinary day when Vanessa Carlton met Julia Stiles.

While speaking to PEOPLE at a screening for Stiles’ directorial debut movie, Wish You Were Here, in New York City on Jan. 15, the “Ordinary Day” singer shared that she had actually met Stiles three decades ago.

“I’ve known Julia since like ninth grade biology class, so we’re just living our life, man, just looking for the next exciting thing to do,” Carlton, 44, tells PEOPLE of her longtime friendship with Stiles, 43, that started when they were teens.

The 10 Things I Hate About You actress tapped the “A Thousand Miles” singer to score Wish You Were Here, her 2025 romantic drama based on Renée Carlino’s 2017 best-selling novel of the same name.

Carlton revealed that despite their past connection, which also includes being photographed together at red carpet events over the years, she had to audition for the chance to score the movie, which hit theaters on Jan. 17.

“We auditioned — we read the script last summer,” the three-time Grammy nominee says, referring to herself and husband John McCauley of rock band Deer Tick and Dennis Ryan Engineering. “We got to throw our hat in the ring with our themes and then we got the job.”

“It was so fabulous — our first time scoring a film,” Carlton adds. “Julia is such an amazing director, and she gave us such wonderful clear guidance musically, so it was a real pleasure to set the mood musically for the film.”

Asked how it has been to see where they both have ended up in entertainment since they met in high school, Carlton touted their bond.

Julia Fox braved a bold beauty move for the new year.

At the Jan. 16 New York premiere of her upcoming movie Presence, the model-actress debuted a fresh new look. She did the pixie cut herself, she told Page Six, and was inspired by Jim Carrey’s famous alter ego Ace Ventura.

“I was going for Ace Ventura, like sleazy guy, I don’t know, I’m just into that right now,” she told the outlet on the red carpet.

The pet detective’s voluminous quiff goes through multiple phases throughout the 1994 film — from the outlandish hair-horns to a neat, structured swoop. For Fox to achieve any of Ventura’s iconic looks, she had to brave a huge hair change.

“It was a long time coming. I’ve been wanting to do it for a long time,” she said of her new do. “And you know, sometimes in life, you just gotta take the plunge and do it. It’ll grow back, it’s just hair.”

Ahead of the premiere, Fox shared the moment she cut her own hair. Though she captioned the video, “Immediately regretted it,” fans in the comments gave her tons of support and said she always looked good.

She finished off her fun spin on bridal fashion with white lace gloves and a small handbag.

“I was like, great, I’ll put the veil on and it’ll cover my boob,” she said. “I just happened to have little gloves and the bag, and the bag said, ‘Till death do us part.’”

She added, “Looking at the photo, I do wish that I would’ve maybe made sure the thong wasn’t twisted, but it’s okay.”
