  • Ginny & Georgia Season 3 Sets June Release Date on Netflix

The wait for season 3 of Ginny & Georgia is almost over!

On Thursday, Jan. 30, Netflix announced the third season of the hit teen drama series will premiere on June 5. The story will pick up right after last season’s cliffhanger.

“Georgia (Brianne Howey) has just been arrested for murder during her wedding — ruining her fairy tale ending and putting the spotlight on the Millers like never before,” the official synopsis reads. “It’s always been Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite like this.”

The description continues: “Now, Ginny needs to see where she stands when push comes to shove – is the two of them against the world something Ginny really wants to sign up for?”

In the first-look images from the upcoming season, Georgia is behind bars, with a worried look on her face, and in the other, Ginny and her younger brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca) sit in what appears to be a courtroom with stern faces, likely awaiting news from their mom’s trial.

As fans may recall, the final episode of the show’s second season ended with Georgia Miller being arrested for the murder of Cynthia Fuller (Sabrina Grdevich)’s husband in the middle of her wedding reception. She was then taken away by the police as her new husband Paul (Scott Porter) and children — Ginny and Austin — watched.

The series creator Sarah Lampert told PEOPLE in January 2023 that the surprise ending was planned from the beginning.

“How we pitched season 1 and then how we ended our pitch of season 2 was, ‘Then Georgia’s married to Paul, they’re having their first dance, and she’s arrested for murder,’” she recalled. “So it was always the plan.”

As for what’s to come in season 3, Lampert teased “all of the dominoes have been set up as far back as season 1.”

As for Georgia’s children Ginny and Austin, they will struggle in the aftermath of their mother’s arrest, according to Lampert.

“Ginny also has a lot of guilt associated with actions that her mother has done,” she explained. “We see that conversation with her in Cordova, in the coffee shop, where he’s like, ‘If this happens again, it’s on you. You’re protecting your mom, and she plays God. If she hurts someone else, this one’s on you.’ That’s something Ginny’s going to have to grapple with.”

Lampert added Austin will wrestle with his emotions after witnessing his mother’s murder “because that is unarguably a traumatic thing for a little boy to witness.”

Earlier this month, Howey, 35, told PEOPLE that the upcoming season of Ginny & Georgia is “unhinged.”

“I’m blown away that the writers are still able to show us completely new sides of each character, and that’s what you’re going to see in season 3,” she gushed.

“You will see a lot of grit and hustle, but in an entirely new way. Georgia has to dig deeper into a part of herself we haven’t seen yet,” she added. “So, she has to use that grit in all new ways.”

When it comes to Georgia and her daughter Ginny’s “ever-changing relationship,” the actress also explained that fans will begin to see “new similarities between them as well as enormous differences.”

    About Morgan Wallen

Dubbed Country’s “dominant superstar” by Stereogum with more than 3.1 million fans attending his One Night At A Time World Tourthe genre’s highest-selling tour ever, two-time 2025 GRAMMY nominee Morgan Wallen is entering 2025 with a refreshed setlist at hand, releasing new music, and preparing to headline his I’m The Problem Tour beginning June 20 in Houston, Texas. Before the tour kicks off, Wallen’s all-genre Sand In My Boots Music Festival, which sold out in less than 2 hours, hits Gulf Shores, Alabama in May.

With both Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing At A Time checking in at No. 1 and 6 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums of the 21st Century, respectively, Wallen’s reign atop the charts has landed him 19 Billboard Music Awards to-date in just four years. The instant success of One Thing At A Time left The New York Times proclaiming Wallen as “one of the biggest stars in pop, period.” Recent release “Love Somebody” debuted at No. 1 globally across five countries and 11 charts, leading Wallen to become the first artist to have three singles sit atop the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts simultaneously.

    About Miranda Lambert

Critically acclaimed groundbreaker/songwriter/superstar Miranda Lambert has defined her multi-faceted career as an artist, entertainer, entrepreneur, advocate and businesswoman with an unflinching quest for excellence, honesty and conviction. With her 10th solo studio album, Postcards from Texas, available everywhere now via Republic Records, the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history, including their top honor for Entertainer of the Year, has also won three GRAMMYs and 14 Country Music Association Awards. A TIME100 honoree and perennial best-of-the-year list maker at the New York TimesTIMERolling StoneBillboardStereogumPeople and more, NPR has called her “the most riveting country star of her generation.”

A multi-dimensional superstar, she’s earned seven No. 1 solo albums, 10 No. 1 hit radio singles, more than 80 prestigious awards and countless RIAA certifications; conquered Las Vegas with her twice-extended Velvet Rodeo residency; blurred genres with Leon Bridges, the B-52s, Loretta Lynn, Enrique Iglesias, Sheryl Crow and Elle King; and delivered her LGBTQ+ inclusive anthem “Y’All Means All” for Netflix’s “Queer Eye.” Lambert has taken those standards to become a label co-founder, teaming with longtime collaborator Jon Randall to launch their own imprint, Big Loud Texas, in partnership with Big Loud Records. She is also a New York Times bestselling author and the first female restaurateur on Lower Broadway with her Tex-Mex cantina, Casa Rosa, while also expanding her creative reach with her Wanda June Home collection exclusive to Walmart and her Idyllwind clothing and boot line at Boot Barn. Her passion for rescue animals inspired the creation of her MuttNation Foundation, which has raised over $10 million since inception to promote adoption, support shelters across the country, advance spay & neuter and assist with the transport of animals during times of natural disaster.

    About Ella Langley

Ella Langley is just the kind of maverick country music needs. She’s got a rafter-reaching voice and is a straight-shootin’ songwriter who pulls no punches when it comes to life, love, and everything else under the sun. Hailing from Hope Hull, Alabama, she tirelessly gigged in bars and at local festivals before relocating to Nashville in 2019. Spiking her unfiltered true stories with unapologetic rock ‘n’ roll grit and unassuming pop appeal, she quietly emerged as a phenomenon with millions of streams and a growing fan base. Following a series of buzz-building singles and her debut EP Excuse The Mess in 2023Ella arrived at a landmark moment in her career with the release of her debut 14-track album, hungover, on August 2, 2024. Co-writing every song on the album, Ella describes these songs as raw, fun, and emotional, and a peek into her diary entries. The New York Times and Rolling Stone both named hungover as one of their Best Albums of 2024, while Music Row hailed it as “a fantastic display of the young artist’s boldness and creative assuredness.” The album includes her massive hit single “you look like you love me” featuring Riley Green, which marked Ella’s Billboard Hot 100 debut (Top 30) and received immediate widespread critical acclaim for its classic sound. The playful duet earned Ella her first No. 1 single on Country radio and madeElla the first and one of only two female artists to lead the Billboard Country Airplay Chart in 2024. The song’s worldwide popularity propelled it to No. 7 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, and Ella herself to six straight weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart. The RIAA Platinum-certified hit recently won ‘Musical Event of the Year’ at the CMA Awards, where Ella and Riley took the stage for a fun and dynamic performance. The song has been revered as one of the best songs of 2024 by Billboard, Los Angeles Times, Cosmopolitan, Holler Country and more. On the touring front, having supported names like Jon Pardi, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, Riley Green, HARDY, Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley, Ella completely sold out her first-ever headline tour in 2024 and extended the run with more already-sold-out shows in 2025. She is also set to perform as direct support on Riley Green’s 2025 North American Damn Country Music Tour. Having previously been named to several artists to watch programs and lists from All Country News, CMT, The Country Wire, Music Row, The Opry and more, Ella still has plenty up her sleeve and is no doubt one of country’s most promising new stars.

Cunningham addresses June 1 drop in Belichick’s buyout

    By R.L. Bynum

BOSTON — Why does Coach Bill Belichick’s Carolina contract buyout drop from $10 million to $1 million on June 1?

Some in the UNC fan base have been curious about that drop and are worried that he’ll jump at the opportunity if an NFL job becomes available.

On the Fenway Park field before the Fenway Bowl Saturday morning, Athletics Director Bubba Cunningham told Tar Heel Tribune, “that’s just how the contract was negotiated.”

He didn’t explain why it was negotiated that way, which probably doesn’t make the fans who are worried any more comfortable.

Belichick, who already had commitments from 10 players out of the transfer portal, wasn’t at Fenway Park for the game. At his introductory press conference, he said that he “didn’t come to leave.”

In a recent press conference, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s attorney, William Cunningham, addressed the surprising drop in head coach Bill Belichick’s buyout clause on June 1. Cunningham explained that the change was a strategic decision made by both Belichick and Kraft in order to ensure the long-term success and stability of the team.

Despite speculation and rumors surrounding the drop in the buyout clause, Cunningham emphasized that Belichick remains fully committed to the Patriots organization and has no intentions of leaving. He also reassured fans that the team’s future is bright and that they can expect continued success under Belichick’s leadership.

The decision to lower Belichick’s buyout clause may seem unconventional to some, but Cunningham stressed that it was a mutual agreement made with the best interests of the team in mind. As the Patriots gear up for the upcoming season, fans can rest assured knowing that Belichick is here to stay.

Crime detection is a crucial aspect of maintaining law and order in any society. Without the ability to identify and apprehend criminals, chaos would reign and innocent individuals would be left vulnerable to harm. In order to incentivize individuals to assist in the detection of crime, rewards are often offered as a form of encouragement.

General Benj. F. Butler of Massachusetts understands the importance of rewards for the detection of crime, as evidenced by his speech upon the frauds on the revenues of the House of Representatives on June 19, 1874. He recognizes that without proper incentives, individuals may be hesitant to come forward with information that could help solve criminal cases.

Offering rewards for the detection of crime serves multiple purposes. Not only does it encourage members of the community to actively participate in the criminal justice process, but it also helps to ensure that justice is served and that criminals are held accountable for their actions. Rewards can also help to build trust between law enforcement agencies and the public, fostering a sense of cooperation and collaboration in the fight against crime.

In conclusion, the necessity of rewards for the detection of crime cannot be understated. General Benj. F. Butler’s speech highlights the importance of incentivizing individuals to come forward with valuable information that can help solve criminal cases and maintain order in society. By offering rewards, we can empower individuals to take an active role in fighting crime and ensuring the safety and security of our communities.
