  • Danity Kane Star D. Woods Alleges Diddy Treated Her Like ‘A Piece of Meat’

Former Danity Kane member D. Woods is reflecting on what she claims were “troubling interactions” she allegedly had with Sean “Diddy” Combs during her time in the girl group.

Among other claims, Woods, 41, alleged that Combs, 55, fostered a verbally abusive work environment.

“He did it in different ways with all of us, you know, picking and prodding and just a way to chip and knock away, but then praise you,” she said during an interview with Good Morning America on Monday, January 27. “Somebody constantly treating you like a piece of meat.”

Woods went on to recall feeling as though Diddy only valued her for her “sex appeal.”

“In some of the environments, it was even scary to be by yourself,” she added.

Diddy Documentary Producer Hopes Making the Band’s Sara Rivers Felt Coming Forward Was ‘Cathartic’

Danity Kane was formed in 2005, during MTV’s Making the Band 3. Woods — one of the group’s original members — performed alongside Aundrea Fimbres, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aubrey O’Day. (Diddy fired Woods and O’Day from the group during a 2008 episode of Making the Band 4. O’Day eventually returned to the group, but Woods did not.)

Making the Band was a reality show, and like many others, certain aspects were dramatized for entertainment purposes,” a source told Us Weekly on Monday. “Decisions about the group were always made with a focus on maintaining professionalism, fostering growth, and ensuring the group’s success. Viewers of the show were not shocked or surprised by the events that unfolded onscreen because they were presented transparently.”

Woods explained during her GMA interview on Monday why she’s since decided to speak out about her alleged past experiences.

“I would say that this moment now is a time where I feel like my experience, my truth will really be heard and actually considered and believed,” she shared. “Not talking hasn’t changed anything either.”

Diddy is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits trial, which is set to start in May. The music mogul was arrested in September 2024 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied all allegations and pleaded not guilty to all charges.

“You know, he is looked at as a hero of our community, and myself included, I looked up to him too,” Woods said during the GMA interview. “So, a lot of people don’t want to believe that their hero can be this other person.”

Danity Kane’s Dawn Richard Sues Diddy, Accuses Him of Brutality, Sexual Abuse and Manipulation

Woods further details her allegations against Diddy in the Investigation Discovery docuseries The Fall of Diddy, which premieres tonight. Diddy’s team has spoken out ahead of the premiere, claiming that the show is “a one-sided and prejudicial narrative” of the musician.

“These documentaries are rushing to cash in on the media circus surrounding Mr. Combs,” a statement shared with Us Weekly read. “The producers failed to provide sufficient time or details for his representatives to address unsubstantiated claims, many from unidentified participants whose allegations lack context. By withholding this information, they made it impossible for Mr. Combs to present facts to counter these fabricated accusations.”

The statement continued, “As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every publicity stunt or facially ridiculous claim. He has full confidence in the facts and the judicial process, where the truth will prevail: the accusations against him are pure fiction.”

Danity Kane Star D. Woods Alleges Diddy Treated Her Like ‘A Piece of Meat’

Former Danity Kane member D. Woods has spoken out about her experience working with music mogul Diddy, alleging that he treated her like “a piece of meat.”

In a recent interview, D. Woods revealed that while she was a member of the popular girl group, she often felt objectified and disrespected by Diddy. She claimed that he would make inappropriate comments about her appearance and body, and would often prioritize the other members of the group over her.

    D. Woods also alleged that Diddy would pressure her to dress in revealing outfits and participate in photoshoots that made her uncomfortable. She stated that she felt as though she was being used for her looks rather than her talent.

The singer went on to say that she ultimately decided to leave Danity Kane and pursue a solo career because of the toxic environment created by Diddy. She expressed her disappointment in how she was treated and urged others in the industry to stand up against mistreatment and objectification.

Diddy has yet to respond to D. Woods’ allegations, but the singer’s brave decision to speak out has sparked a conversation about the treatment of women in the music industry. It is important for artists to feel respected and valued for their talent, rather than being reduced to mere objects for someone else’s profit.

  • Harry Kane and Eric Dier make Bundesliga history with all-time first in Bayern Munich win

Harry Kane and Eric Dier combined for a goal in the Bundesliga to become the first Englishmen to do so in the league’s history.

Kane opened the scoring for Bayern Munich in the 15th minute of their clash against SC Freiburg – a fixture that they won 2-1.

On the right-hand side of the pitch, Dier played a pass into the feet of the striker who turned his man and fired into the bottom corner of Noah Atubolu’s net.

It was Kane’s 17th league goal of the season, edging him closer to the Bundesliga’s Golden Boot award.

It was also a strike which ended a rather unique run in which Kane had failed to score from open play in two months.

His closest competitor for the trophy was Omar Marmoush, formerly of Eintracht Frankfurt, who recently completed a £59m move to Manchester City.

Kim Min-jae followed suit next with a goal in the 54th minute to double the lead.

Freiburg did score soon after but it was simply a consolation goal.

Speaking on his Cleats Club messaging app afterwards, Kane said: “Big away win today guys, really tough place to go.

“I think they had one of the best home records in the Bundesliga this year, so knew it was going to be a big fight and tough battle.

“So year, top mentality from the boys to go there and get the three points, and put ourselves a couple more points ahead was really important today so massive credit to everyone for the way we’ve worked and the way we’ve bounced back from midweek is really important.

“We use this now, two home games coming up, and another big week – so yeah, let’s keep the three points coming.”

Before the match, Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl was asked directly about Kane’s lack of goals from open play.

He said: “Harry is the least of my worries. When you have a young player, you might worry more, but Harry Kane has had so many highs and also some lows.

“So if anyone can cope and deal with it, it’s Harry Kane,” he added.

“He hasn’t scored from open play for a long time, but he also was injured. Of course, we need his goals.

“He knows that and is probably the one who is most critical of himself. But I don’t think it’s causing a mental problem for Harry.”

Kane since coming to Germany has not been a stranger to criticism despite an impressive 66 goals in 69 appearances.

Dier has also been slammed for his performances for Bayern but has been a key piece for the club, especially when the likes of Dayot Upamecano and Kim are unavailable.

“Eric is a player with a lot of experience who knows what to do in these moments,” said Vincent Kompany earlier this month. “Players like Eric have character and always prioritise the team.”

Kane and Dier, who played together at Tottenham, are yet to attain silverware for Bayern as Bayer Leverkusen infamously won their first-ever title last season.

But with Xavi Alonso’s side drawing with RB Leipzig, Bayern are now six points clear on top of the table.

In a historic moment for English footballers in the Bundesliga, Harry Kane and Eric Dier have made history with an all-time first in Bayern Munich’s recent win.

In their match against Bayern Munich, Kane and Dier became the first English players to score in a Bundesliga game together. Kane netted a goal in the first half, while Dier scored a crucial goal in the second half to secure a 2-1 victory for their team.

This milestone achievement not only showcases the talent and skill of these two players but also highlights the increasing presence of English players in top European leagues.

Fans and pundits alike are buzzing about this feat, with many praising Kane and Dier for their impressive performances on the pitch. It’s a proud moment for English football and a sign of things to come for these two talented players.

Congratulations to Harry Kane and Eric Dier for making history in the Bundesliga and for putting English football on the map in Germany. Here’s to many more memorable moments to come! #Bundesliga #HarryKane #EricDier #BayernMunich #EnglishFootball

  • Freiburg 1-2 Bayern Munich: Harry Kane scores as visitors go six points clear

Harry Kane scored from open play for the first time since November as Bayern Munich went six points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table with a win against Freiburg.

The England captain opened the scoring for the Bavarians with a powerful effort into the bottom left-hand corner.

It was the 31-year-old’s 23rd goal of the campaign and his first from open play since a 3-0 win against Augsburg on 22 November, when he hit a hat-trick.

South Korea defender Kim Min-jae doubled Bayern’s lead with his fourth goal for the club as he headed in Joshua Kimmich’s corner.

Freiburg halved Bayern’s advantage with 22 minutes left of normal time when substitute Matthias Ginter headed in from a corner.

But 32-time German champions Bayern held on to increase their buffer at the top of the table.

That is because champions Bayer Leverkusen failed to keep the pressure on Bayern, conceding an equaliser in the 85th minute in a 2-2 draw against RB Leipzig.

In a thrilling match at the Schwarzwald-Stadion, Bayern Munich emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Freiburg. The visitors took the lead early on through a goal from Harry Kane, who continues to impress since his move to Bayern.

Freiburg fought back valiantly and managed to equalize through a goal from their top scorer, but Bayern regained the lead with a goal from another new signing, securing the three points.

With this win, Bayern Munich now sits six points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table, further solidifying their position as title contenders. Harry Kane’s impact on the team has been undeniable, and his goal-scoring prowess has been crucial in their recent success.

The race for the Bundesliga title is heating up, and Bayern Munich will be looking to maintain their lead as they aim to reclaim the championship once again.

As much as Bailey Zimmerman beat himself up about his drunken performance and Crash My Playa and later apologized, some of his country peers are lifting him up and showing him grace. • ‘Haunted’ by Kane Brown & Jelly Roll – Lyrics & Meaning

Kane Brown & Jelly Roll – ‘Haunted’

Official Release Date: January 24th, 2025

    Album: The High Road

Songwriters: Kane Brown, Gabe Foust & Jaxson Free

Kane Brown has never shied away from being vulnerable, but even so, ’Haunted’ finds the ’Miles On It’ singer-songwriter digging further than ever before as he delves into themes of depression and suicide on this powerful Jelly Roll collaboration.

Kane Brown first teased ‘Haunted’ in a 2024 discussion with Holler, with the title of the track being initially inspired during a stint at the UK’s Stock Exchange Hotel, which he felt had an eerie ambience. Of all the tracks on Brown’s 2025 album, The High Road, ‘Haunted’ is the perfect one for Jelly Roll to guest on, with the ’Save Me’ crooner accentuating the darkness and drama of the track with his raspy, charismatic delivery, as the duo trade verses on their mental health.

Kane Brown’s 2025 album, The High Road, is pervaded by a willingness to blur the lines between genres such as traditional country, R&B, EDM and much more. ‘Haunted’ is grounded in country, but with the help of Jelly Roll’s atmospheric vocals and gravitas, the brooding offering takes on a cinematic, rock-tinged energy.

The fact that the title is repeated throughout the hook and the outro gives it the feel of a persistent, invasive thought piercing the narrator’s peace, with the fiery electric guitars and deliberate drum pattern consolidating the angst and turbulence of this anthem.

    “Waking up in cold sweats
    California king beds
    Got the diamond set
    Shoes that ain’t released yet
    Maserati sports car
Singing songs that everybody knows on the guitar
    They say I’m a superstar”

In both their verses, Kane Brown and Jelly Roll explain that their fame, fortune and status have not eased the mental anguish they’ve experienced from a young age – if anything, they imply the material wealth on offer to them has intensified their problems.

The nod to ‘California King beds’ could be an Easter Egg reference to a line in Kane Brown’s ’Miles On It’ (“Just you and me in a truck bed wide like a California King / We could break it in if you know what I mean”) which is much more celebratory and carefree, emphasising the contrast with the more personal ‘Haunted’.

    “But oh (Oh)
I still got this feeling in my bones (Bone)
Happens every time that I’m alone
Part of me is feeling like a ghost, oh-woah”

Kane Brown builds on the titular theme by describing the feeling of being ‘a ghost’, perhaps conveying his sense of hollowness and emptiness. Despite his success, he describes being dogged by a sense of detachment and numbness due to his mental struggles.

“’Cause I’m haunted by the voice in my head
I’m haunted by the taste of that lead
I wanted too many times to jump off the edge
Thinkin’ I was better off dead
I’m haunted only ever other night
I’m haunted and I wish I knew why
I wanted too many times to be gone by the mornin’
    If I’m honest
    Yeah, I’m haunted
    Woah, yeah
    Yeah, I’m haunted (I’m haunted)”

The hook is particularly striking and candid, with the protagonists admitting they’ve experienced suicidal thoughts, as is highlighted through the line, “haunted by the taste of that lead”, which seemingly refers to the act of putting a gun in one’s mouth. This theme of wanting to escape their demons through death continues over the course of the hook, but thankfully, in the broader narrative of the album on which ‘Haunted’ appears, the protagonist manages to overcome his depression.

    “If I’m bein’ real
I spent my whole life escapin’ the pills
    If I’m bein’ real
I think I was happier when I couldn’t pay the bills
If I’m bein’ real (If I’m bein’ real)
    I’m searchin’ for purpose
    I feel wealthy but worthless
    If I’m bein’ real
    I don’t know if it’s worth it”

Jelly Roll’s verse introduces a new dimension to these mental health struggles, with the Nashville native touching on a dependence on pills, before calling back to Kane Brown’s opening lines by confessing he thinks he was happier when he wasn’t as rich.

This mentality is underlined in the visceral lyric, “I’m searchin’ for purpose / I feel wealthy but worthless”. Although Jelly Roll did not write ‘Haunted’, he has spoken about his struggle with drug abuse in the past, so this verse seems to resonate with his story.

What has Kane Brown said about ‘Haunted’?

During a 2024 interview with Holler, Kane Brown explained where the kernel of ‘Haunted’ came from, “I was in Manchester at the Stock Exchange Hotel – the craziest hotel I’ve ever been to with very big rooms like a bank vault, because the whole thing used to be a bank. They give you a key right when you check in, and if you have the bank vault room, you have your own secret entrance, which was really cool…”

Brown expanded, “But anyway, I thought it felt haunted, so when I was with my writers in the room we automatically had a title…It’s about depression, and you know, no matter how much money you make, no matter what you go through in life, if you go through depression, you do kind of feel haunted because you can’t escape it…You have to kind of find your way out of being depressed. So we just went to our darkest and deepest parts of our minds and wrote this dark, beautiful song”.

    But oh (Oh)

  • Kane Brown Insists Jelly Roll Used to Hate Him!

Kane Brown is set to release his new album, The High Road, on Friday (Jan. 24). It includes a collaboration with Jelly Roll about a tough subject: Depression.

They’re obviously cool now, but in a revealing interview with Taste of Country Nights, Brown insists that Jelly Roll used to really hate him.

“I heard of him before he had ever gotten in the country industry, because I was hanging out with some other guys that were in the world that Jelly was in,” Brown explains. “We had the same kinda background.”

But they never talked to each other, even though they had mutual friends.

“Our buddy, Taylor Phillips, he told Jelly … so Jelly will tell you this, he hated me,” Brown says.

As fans may remember, when he was just coming up in the ranks, Brown was pretty shy and subdued as an artist.

“Taylor told him [Jelly] ‘Nah, man, you don’t know him — he’s just really quiet.’”

Brown, now 31, is  recalls that he reached out to Jelly Roll directly so they could cut through the beef and ideally, become friends.

“Taylor ended up telling me the story, so I ended up reaching out to Jelly, I was like, ‘Hey buddy, this industry’s crazy. If you ever need to sit down and talk to me, or play COD’ — I play a lot of Call of Duty — ‘You can come and talk to me about it.’”

Jelly took him up on it, and they played Call of Duty together. They were fast friends.

“So we ended up laying Call of Duty and hitting it off and basically just text all the time,” Brown says of their friendship now. “Random FaceTimes at 3AM.”

“I wrote this song and though of him jumping on it.” That song is “Haunted.”

“But the funny thing is, the other day we were shooting the music video for it and he was like, ‘Is this thing on?’” Brown says Jelly asked, mimicking what the “Save Me” hitmaker did next.

“He was like, ‘I used to f–kingng hate this dude!’” Jelly Roll said into the camera, per Brown. “That was the first thing he said. It was right in front of my team and everything.”

“Then, he [Jelly] was like, ‘But now I love this guy!’”

It threw Brown for a loop, even though he kind of knew Jelly didn’t like him before they really knew each other.

“I was like, ‘You never told me this in person,’” he says.

Fortunately, it’s nothing but love and good vibes these days.

“Jelly’s such a good guy, man. I love him and I’m proud of his success and he amplified this song, I’m just glad he’s on it,” Brown says. “Hopefully we get a big hit that’s huge awareness for people to know they’re not alone going through depression.”

In support of his new album, Brown will embark on his The High Road Tour in March.
