  • Taylor Swift Dines Out with Kylie Kelce and Family Night Before the Super Bowl

Taylor Swift is fueling up before a big day of cheering for Travis Kelce and the Chiefs!

The pop superstar, 35, enjoyed a dinner out in New Orleans with friends and family on Saturday, Feb. 8, a day before her boyfriend Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2025 Super Bowl.

Swift and her close friends Danielle and Alana Haim were seen walking into Gianna Restaurant, an Italian spot from famed New Orleans restauranteur Donald Link just west of the French Quarter, for their meal.

The “So High School” singer wore a simple black top with black high-waisted shorts — all set off by her showpiece of the look, a black jacket with a beige, fuzzy collar and sleeves. Swift added a slouchy black purse with gold zippers and chunky, heeled black booties. She complimented the look with soft barrel curls in her blonde hair and a dark, Chiefs-red lip.

Alana, 33, matched Swift in all-black, while Danielle, 35, also opted for black — but with a red, collared coat.

Once inside, fans snapped Swift greeting Kelce’s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, at the bar. Kylie, 32, was also videoed talking with Swift’s dad Scott, and the singer’s mom Andrea was seen in other photos.

While Travis, 35, is now in lockdown ahead of the Super Bowl, he was able to enjoy a double date night with Swift, along with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, the day before. The two couples had a cozy dinner at Lilette on Friday, Feb. 7, where they sat in a small, separate room with a booth at the French restaurant.

There, they dined on grilled hanger steak and Louisiana crab claws, a source told PEOPLE, along with fries. Both Taylor and Travis were “super nice,” and the whole group was very polite to staff as the table was being cleared post-meal, sources said.

Travis and Patrick will next attempt to win a historic third-straight championship when the Super Bowl kicks off at 6:40 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Last night, Taylor Swift was spotted enjoying a delicious meal with NFL star Travis Kelce and his family at a popular restaurant in Los Angeles. The group seemed to be in high spirits as they chatted and laughed over dinner, just one day before Travis’s big game in the Super Bowl.

Fans were thrilled to see Taylor out and about with the Kelce family, and many took to social media to share their excitement. It’s not every day that two entertainment powerhouses like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce come together for a casual dinner outing!

As the Super Bowl approaches, it’s clear that both Taylor and Travis are gearing up for an exciting weekend. Whether you’re a fan of football, music, or both, it’s sure to be a weekend full of entertainment and excitement. • Why Travis Kelce Won’t Be With Taylor Swift at the 2025 Grammys

Next Sunday, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will be playing in their third Super Bowl in a row. Understandably, with the game set in New Orleans, Kelce cannot join his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, at the Grammys tonight, TMZ and People report.

Sources told TMZ that Kelce will remain with the Chiefs, preparing for their game against the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9.

People shared on Sunday morning that Kelce and the Chiefs are traveling today. They will be landing in New Orleans at 4 P.M. local time—before the red carpet begins for the Los Angeles ceremony, the outlet noted.

Swift fueled rumors that Kelce wouldn’t be joining her at the February 2 music awards ceremony on Wednesday when she was seen leaving for Los Angeles without him.

Swift could be taking home quite a few trophies, though. Her nominations are for Record of the Year (“Fortnight” with Post Malone), Album of the Year (The Tortured Poets Department), Song of the Year (“Fortnight” with Jack Antonoff and Post Malone), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (Gracie Abrams’s “Us”), Best Pop Vocal Album (The Tortured Poets Department), and Best Music Video (“Fortnight”). She is also a show presenter.

preview for Taylor Swift’s Iconic Career Evolution

Kelce has been vocal about how much Swift’s support of his football career means to him—and how he tries to return the favor himself with her music events. During a recent interview on The Stephen A. Smith Show, he said, “I think personally that’s the beauty of being in a really strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you. You know, that’s why I wanted to be at the concerts, support her and being there for her, making sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she’s doing in life. I’m as focused as I’ve ever been on my job and being the best player I can possibly be week in and week out for this team. It’s because I don’t have to worry about things off the field.”

Travis Kelce, the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has been making headlines both on and off the field. Rumors have been swirling that he may be attending the 2025 Grammys with pop sensation Taylor Swift, but here’s why that may not be the case.

First and foremost, Kelce is a dedicated athlete and his focus is on his football career. With the demands of the NFL season and his commitment to his team, it’s unlikely that he would have time to attend an event like the Grammys.

Additionally, Kelce has been in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, and they have been going strong for years. It’s unlikely that he would be attending a high-profile event like the Grammys with anyone other than his significant other.

Furthermore, Kelce and Swift may simply not have any connection or reason to attend the Grammys together. While they are both successful in their respective fields, there is no indication that they have a close relationship or friendship that would warrant them attending a major event together.

In conclusion, while it may be fun to speculate about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift attending the 2025 Grammys together, it seems unlikely based on Kelce’s priorities, relationship status, and lack of connection to Swift. Fans will just have to wait and see who Kelce decides to bring as his date to the Grammys, if he attends at all.

  • 2025 Super Bowl predictions: Chiefs’ Travis Kelce breaking his own record among five bold picks for big game

Super Bowl LIX is on the horizon and there’s plenty of speculation about how this championship matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will play out.

After all, history is on the line with K.C. attempting what would be the league’s first three-peat Super Bowl run. Meanwhile, the Eagles are looking to enact some revenge on the Chiefs after they defeated them in Super Bowl LVII just a few years ago. This is just the ninth Super Bowl rematch in NFL history, so we’re already swimming in rarified waters.

Of course, as much as we think we know what’s going to happen in a given game by the time kickoff rolls around, there’s always some surprises that unfold. Below, we’re going to cook up some BOLD predictions that could be on the table in this latest Super Bowl matchup from New Orleans.

The team that scores last will not win

This prediction stems from our Madden NFL 25 simulation that we recently conducted for this Super Bowl. In the past, it’s not only picked the correct winner in three of the last four Super Bowls, but it has been eerily accurate regarding some specific aspects of the various games. With this bold prediction, we’ll see if the simulation was correct in saying that the team that scored last did not win the game.

2025 Super Bowl early odds: Chiefs vs. Eagles line has defending champs as slight favorite for three-peat

    Tyler Sullivan

2025 Super Bowl early odds: Chiefs vs. Eagles line has defending champs as slight favorite for three-peat

In that simulation, the Eagles were able to edge out the Chiefs to win the game, but it didn’t come without a frantic 21-point comeback by Kansas City to cut the lead to a mere field goal. The last score in that game before Philadelphia ran out the clock was a 74-yard touchdown by Chiefs receiver Hollywood Brown. So, Kansas City scored last, but the Eagles hoisted the Lombardi Trophy.

If that comes to fruition in the actual Super Bowl, it’s a remarkably rare occurrence. The team that has scored last has won the game in 18 of the last 19 Super Bowls, including in 11 straight. The lone exception came in 2012 when the Ravens intentionally took a safety against the 49ers

Wait … I thought this was supposed to be a bold prediction story?

Well, even with Saquon Barkley going bananas this season and throughout these playoffs, if he were to top 100 yards rushing in the Super Bowl it would be particularly impressive against the Chiefs. Kansas City has gone 18 straight playoff games without allowing an individual 100-yard rusher. They Chiefs have also NEVER allowed a 100-yard rusher in the playoffs with Steve Spagnuolo as the defensive coordinator. Expanding it even further, the last time they allowed a 100-yard rusher overall came back in Week 1 against Lamar Jackson.

So, a player topping 100 yards on the ground is essentially unprecedented against these Chiefs in the playoffs, but Barkley likely breaks the mold in this matchup. Barkley has rushed for 100 or more yards in 14 of his 19 games played this season, including in five straight entering Super Bowl LIX.

Travis Kelce breaks his own Super Bowl record

Travis Kelce was quiet in the AFC Championship win over Buffalo with just two catches for 19 yards. There’s no way he has two subdued matchups in a row. In fact, he could be set up to break his own record for the most receiving yards by a tight in Super Bowl history. He set that mark in Super Bowl LV against the Buccaneers when he registered 133 yards receiving. Already this postseason, Kelce has a 117-yard game under his belt, so he’s showing he’s capable of taking over. The Eagles also just allowed fellow tight end Zach Ertz to catch 11 of his 16 targets for 104 yards in the NFC Championship. Certainly, Kelce can have a similar, if not more productive day than that, putting him in range of his record.

Dallas Goedert leads Eagles in receiving yards

In an offense that boasts two star wide receivers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, this is arguably the boldest of predictions, but Dallas Goedert has an enticing matchup against the Chiefs. The Kansas City defense has been pretty susceptible to tight ends this season, allowing the most receiving yards per game to the position in the entire league. Meanwhile, Goedert has put together a strong postseason and was second on the team with 85 receiving yards in the NFC Championship only looking up to Brown (96). Goedert led the team in receiving in the divisional round and was second in the team in receiving during wild-card weekend.

A tight end wins Super Bowl MVP

Judging by my two predictions above, you’ve likely discerned that I think the tight ends are going to have a big day in Super Bowl LIX. So much so that I think it’s in play that we see one of them win Super Bowl MVP. I’ll divulge our actual game pick in a later story, but it’s worth sprinkling a bit on both Kelce and Goedert’s MVP odds for this game, for the reasons I mentioned above. Kelce owns the fourth-lowest odds at +1500, while Goedert is a true lottery ticket at +12000. If this actually unfolded, it’d be historic as no tight end has ever won Super Bowl MVP.

As we look ahead to the 2025 Super Bowl, there are plenty of exciting storylines to keep an eye on. One of the most intriguing is the potential for Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end Travis Kelce to break his own record for receiving yards in a single Super Bowl. Kelce set the record in Super Bowl LV, and with his combination of size, speed, and hands, it’s not hard to imagine him topping that mark in 2025.

But Kelce’s potential record-breaking performance is just one of five bold predictions for the big game. Here are our picks for what could happen in the 2025 Super Bowl:

    1. Travis Kelce breaks his own record for receiving yards in a single Super Bowl.
    2. The game goes into overtime, with the winning team scoring on a walk-off touchdown.
    3. A defensive player wins Super Bowl MVP, with a game-changing interception or sack.
    4. The halftime show features a surprise reunion of a legendary musical group.
    5. The winning team’s quarterback throws for over 400 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Of course, predicting the outcome of a Super Bowl is always a challenge, but with the talent and excitement surrounding the league in 2025, anything is possible. Keep an eye on Travis Kelce and these other bold predictions as we count down to the big game.

  • Jason Kelce reveals who he’s rooting for in Super Bowl 59

Super Bowl 59 is both the best of times and the worst of times for Jason Kelce.

The former All-Pro center for the Philadelphia Eagles faces a difficult choice with his rooting interests in this year’s big game now that he’s retired and his brother Travis will be playing in the game for the Kansas City Chiefs.

So where will his loyalties lie on Super Sunday?

He addressed the question on the latest edition of the New Heights podcast, which was released Wednesday morning.

“I’ll always root for my brother,” Jason said. “But there’s a lot of people in the Philadelphia organization … that feel like extended family to me …

“I’m rooting for those guys too.”

In the end, it was impossible to choose one or the other.

“I’m rooting for Philadelphia and I’m rooting for Travis Kelce. That’s the reality of it,” he admitted.

“No matter what, on game day I’m going to be happy for one of those sides. And I’m going to be sad for the other side.”

This article originally appeared on USA TODAY: Who is Jason Kelce rooting for in Super Bowl 59?

In a surprising turn of events, Philadelphia Eagles’ star center Jason Kelce has revealed who he’s rooting for in Super Bowl 59. And his choice might raise a few eyebrows.

Despite playing for the Eagles, Kelce has announced that he will be rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs to win Super Bowl 59. Kelce cited his close friendship with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his admiration for the team’s dynamic style of play as the reasons for his support.

“I have a lot of respect for the Chiefs and what they’ve been able to accomplish,” Kelce said in a recent interview. “I’ve gotten to know Patrick Mahomes over the years and he’s not only a great player, but a great person as well. I would love to see him and the Chiefs come out on top in the big game.”

While some Eagles fans may be disappointed by Kelce’s choice, many have praised his sportsmanship and loyalty to his friends in the league. Regardless of the outcome, one thing is for sure – Super Bowl 59 is bound to be an exciting matchup with Kelce cheering on the Chiefs.

  • Jason Kelce reveals whether he’s supporting brother Travis or former team Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX

    CNN
     —

Just like two years ago, there are split loyalties in Super Bowl LIX for Jason Kelce.

The NFL’s season finale on February 9 in New Orleans will see his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, face off against the Kansas City Chiefs, including his brother Travis.

The two teams faced off in Super Bowl LVII, the first championship game ever to feature two brothers playing on opposing squads, with Travis and the Chiefs ending up victorious in Arizona that time.

Jason has since retired but, having spent his whole 13-year playing career with the Eagles, has split allegiances between the two franchises.

And speaking on Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast which he co-hosts with Travis, Jason revealed where his loyalties stand a little over a week and a half away from Super Bowl LIX.

“Here’s the biggest thing. Obviously, you’re my brother. I’ll always root for my brother. That’s the reality of it,” Jason, wearing an Eagles hat and jacket, explained. “Even though I’m decked out in Eagles gear, I’m always rooting for Travis.

“But, there’s a lot of people in the Philadelphia organization – whether it’s players, coaches, people in the building – that feel like extended family to me, especially my former offensive linemen. Like (right tackle) Lane Johnson feels like a brother in a lot of ways. I’m rooting for those guys too. I’m rooting for Philadelphia and I’m rooting for Travis Kelce. That’s the reality of it. Not matter what on game day, I’m going to be happy for one of those sides and I’m going to be sad for the other side.”

Jason Kelce talks to his brother Travis Kelce after their game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on November 20, 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri.

He also went on to acknowledge the similarities between the last time the two teams played in the Super Bowl, recognizing that it will probably be a “little bit less intense” as he won’t be on the field this time.

“I think it’s going to be very similar, I really do. I live in Philadelphia, I still go to the facilities on a very regular basis,” he said. “I still feel like I am a Philadelphia Eagle and that I’m a part of all these people who root and cheer our team.

“So I would be lying if I said I don’t want the Eagles to win, but I also want Travis Kelce to win. That’s a long-winded way of saying I just want to see a good football game, whoever wins.”

Travis suggested Jason needed a half-and-half jumper similar to the one their mother Donna wore to Super Bowl LVII – with one half the green Eagles and the other the red Chiefs – but Jason quickly shut down the idea, saying he cannot wear red.

When asked about how he’s feeling in the build-up to his fifth Super Bowl, Travis said he was “feeling great.”

“Life is amazing. It’s a crazy feeling to be this fortunate in a game that you’ve been playing your entire life, man,” the 35-year-old Chiefs tight end said.

“I’ve had a lot of heartbreak, I’ve had a lot of times where it hasn’t been this sweet and right now, I’m just riding the high of living this dream out with my brothers and everybody in Kansas City.”

In a recent interview, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce revealed his pick for Super Bowl LIX between his brother Travis Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, and his former team, the Eagles.

When asked who he would be rooting for in the big game, Jason Kelce said, “I’ll always have love for the Eagles and the city of Philadelphia, but blood is thicker than water. I’ll be supporting my brother and the Chiefs all the way in Super Bowl LIX.”

It’s sure to be a bittersweet moment for Kelce as he watches his brother compete against his former team, but family ties run deep. Fans can expect to see Kelce cheering on the Chiefs as they battle it out on the gridiron for the championship title.

  • Rihanna, a pregnant Kelce, and the viral stories from the last Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl

To the chagrin of basically everyone outside Philadelphia and Kansas City, the Chiefs and Eagles will face one another in Super Bowl LIX, two years after their matchup in Super Bowl LVII.

That game is famous for being the “Kelce Bowl,” the first matchup between two brothers on the field (the famous Super Bowl XLVII saw the Harbaugh brothers face each other as head coaches), but a lot more happened in that game. Whether it’s burned into your memory because of the pain of the defeat or you’ve chosen to block it out of your memory entirely, here’s a short recap of some of the iconic moments from that fateful day …

Nick Sirianni cries during the anthem

This image lives on in internet lore, so I’m sure you’ve already seen it. Anthem singer and 10-time Grammy Award winner Chris Stapleton brought Sirianni to tears during his rendition of the national anthem.

    Honestly, Nick, same. Stapleton rocks.

    Turf issues

Before the Super Bowl, outlets like ESPN published stories praising the two years of work that went into growing and maintaining the Super Bowl field. Sorry to those groundskeepers, but it was a total failure. Players were sliding around and falling on the surface.

“I’m not going to lie: It was the worst field I’ve ever played on,” former Eagles edge rusher Haason Reddick said after the game. “… It was very disappointing. It’s the NFL. You would think it would be better so we could get some better play, but it is what it is. I don’t know. Maybe the league will look at it and tell Arizona they got to step their stuff up.”

Andy Reid and the Chiefs had called out the surface at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., after their Week 1 matchup against the Cardinals that season, but they didn’t see significant improvements.

“It was a little loose. That’s what happens sometimes when you resod,” Reid told the Associated Press. “It’s part of the [Harrison] Butker injury and the [Trent] McDuffie injury, and that’s unfortunate. The turf picked up, and I would tell you that did have something to do with it. If it didn’t, I’d tell you that, too. It’s not an excuse by any means. But you all see it when you watch the tape.”

    Rihanna performs pregnant

Rihanna finally awakened after years of silence on the music front, and delivered a halftime show for the ages. She was always going to — her catalog is full of hits — but what really stole the show was an accidental pregnancy announcement, thanks to an outfit that didn’t fit the way she’d intended.

“Here’s the thing — I do what I have to do, right?” she told Access Hollywood in 2023. “My jumper couldn’t zip up. No one knew I was pregnant — I just told my stylist, ‘Make sure it’s stretchy.’ The zip, it just stopped right there, so it had to be what it had to be!”

    The newest Kelce

Rihanna wasn’t the only one pregnant at the Super Bowl. Kylie Kelce was 38 weeks pregnant with her and Jason’s third daughter, Bennett, at the time, and brought two of her doctors with her to the game just in case of a Super Bowl Baby.

“If it happens during the Super Bowl, I’d like to think my wife would not tell me,” Jason Kelce said. “Find a way to hold off the actual delivery until after the game. She’ll have her O.B. with her. Her parents are coming along on the trip. She won’t be on her own. But I think if it happens during the game … just don’t even put that in my head, please. … If she has a baby in the stadium, it’s officially scripted.”

It didn’t ultimately end up happening. Bummer, I wonder if Bennett would have been the first ever.

    The penalty

Everyone was sick after seeing James Bradberry get called for a defensive holding penalty on JuJu Smith-Schuster during Kansas City’s final drive, allowing the Chiefs to run out the clock and win the game.

Carl Cheffers, the lead referee in the game, didn’t see the call as controversial, saying that it was “a clear case of a jersey grab that caused restriction.”

“The receiver went to the inside and he was attempting to release to the outside. The defender grabbed the jersey with his right hand and restricted him from releasing to the outside. So, therefore, we called defensive holding,” Cheffers said following the game.

Many others watching the game disagreed — including Fox broadcaster Greg Olsen and NBA star LeBron James.

“I don’t know,” Olsen said during the game. “On this stage, I think you let them play. I don’t love that call.”

    Postgame, Bradberry accepted the decision.

“I pulled a jersey. They called holding,” Bradberry told reporters. “I was hoping they would let it ride, but it was holding.”

Smith-Schuster took a shot at Bradberry days later, posting a card in honor of Valentine’s Day with Bradberry’s face reading, “I’ll hold you when it matters.” The Eagles jumped to Bradberry’s defense — and so did some other players, like Tyreek Hill and Micah Parsons.

Many of those tweets have since been deleted, but here’s a recap of the feud.

In a shocking turn of events, Rihanna has announced her pregnancy just days before the highly anticipated Super Bowl matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. But that’s not the only surprising news coming out of this game – Travis Kelce, star tight end for the Chiefs, has also revealed that he and his wife are expecting their first child.

As fans gear up for the big game, the internet is buzzing with viral stories from the last time these two teams faced off in the Super Bowl. From the infamous wardrobe malfunction during Rihanna’s halftime performance to the epic comeback led by Kelce in the fourth quarter, there’s no shortage of drama and excitement surrounding this rematch.

Will history repeat itself on the field, or will we see a new chapter written in Super Bowl history? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure – this game is sure to be one for the books. Stay tuned for all the latest updates and highlights from this epic showdown.

Jason Kelce Is Debating How to Go to Both Conference Title Games: 'I Wanna Be There for My Brother'

Jason Kelce is stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to deciding which NFL conference championship to attend.

“This is something that I’m still trying to figure out,” Kelce, 37, said on the Saturday, January 26, episode of ESPN’s They Call It Late Night. “I’m working [for ESPN] at the tailgate for the Birds game, which I’m excited about. Initially, they were gonna make me go up to Bristol, but then they were like, ‘Do you just want to stay down there and be a reporter on the scene?’ I’m really fired up to be there.”

The Philadelphia Eagles, the team Jason previously played for until his 2024 retirement, will face the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship on Sunday, January 26. Several hours later, the AFC title game will take place between Jason’s brother Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills.

“I want to be there for [the Eagles game], but also I’m kind of torn,” Jason explained. “I want to be there for the Eagles, but I also want to be there for my brother. I don’t know how many more he has. We’re flying by the seat of our pants!”

Travis Kelce Continues to Cry Over Jason Kelce NFL Retirement

Travis Kelce still isn’t over Jason Kelce‘s NFL retirement, just like Us. The brothers shared an emotional moment during the Wednesday, March 6, episode of their “New Heights” podcast while reflecting on Jason’s retirement press conference, which took place one day before they recorded the podcast. Travis, 34, revealed that the twosome hadn’t spoken at […]

According to Jason, he might “be able to see both” depending on potential travel plans.

Travis, 35, has faced retirement speculation throughout the 2024-2025 season — but frequently shuts it down. In multiple press conferences, Travis has made it clear that he still enjoys getting out on the football field each week and stressed that he is focused on sharing the latest title game milestones with his teammates.

“Don’t let the lights blind you,” the tight end said in a Friday, January 24, press conference of his advice for Chiefs rookies. “It’s a big moment you’re going into. Hype it up yourself because you’ve been dreaming about moments like these. The biggest thing is that you’re good enough [and] you don’t got to be anybody that you’re not. You don’t got to force yourself to be greater than who you are.”

Travis added, “We work our tails off to be exactly who we are and it’s now time to go out there, have fun and just cut it loose. Don’t let the lights shorten your steps or stutter your feet.”

The winners of the respective title games will face off in the 2025 Super Bowl next month. If the Chiefs beat the Bills on Sunday, they will have the opportunity to become the first NFL team in history to win three consecutive Super Bowls. The No. 1-seeded football team won back-to-back Super Bowl championships in 2023 and 2024.

Travis, who won his first NFL championship in 2020, isn’t focused on potentially shattering records just yet.

“I haven’t heard anybody talk about anything ‘three-peat’ [or] anything like that,” he said in an ESPN interview earlier this month. “Anybody can get beat in the playoffs if you don’t come in with the right mentality and the right mindset dating back to training camp and throughout the season.”

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce recently made headlines when he revealed his ambitious plan to attend both the AFC and NFC Conference Championship games this weekend. Kelce, who is known for his energetic personality and love of football, said he wants to soak in the atmosphere and support his fellow players.

In an interview, Kelce stated, “I’m a football fan first and foremost, so I want to see as much of the action as possible. Plus, I have friends on both teams competing in the AFC and NFC Championships, so I want to show my support for them.”

Kelce’s plan to attend both games is no small feat, as they are being held in different cities on the same day. However, Kelce is determined to make it work and is currently figuring out logistics to ensure he can watch both games live.

Fans and teammates alike are excited to see Kelce’s dedication to the game and his teammates. With his infectious enthusiasm and love for football, there’s no doubt that Kelce will bring his signature energy to both conference games this weekend.

  • Jason Kelce Reveals Why He’s ‘Torn’ About Attending Brother Travis’ Next NFL Game

Jason Kelce admitted to being “torn” about the difficulty he is facing ahead of his brother Travis’ upcoming NFL game on Sunday, Jan. 26.

The Kansas City Chiefs are slated to face off against the Buffalo Bills in this year’s AFC Championship game, which takes place on Sunday at the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. Though Jason, 37, said he wants to attend the game, he has other obligations that are making the timing difficult for him to work out.

His scheduling deliberations came up during the live taping of his latest episode of They Call It Late Night, his new ESPN sports talk show. The episode was released on Saturday, Jan. 25.

Jason, who retired last year after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, was asked by a fan in the audience whether he will be attending his former team’s Sunday NFC Championship game against the Washington Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa., or if he’ll instead be at the Chiefs-Bills game.

“This is something that I’m still trying to figure out,” Jason admitted. He explained that he will first be attending an Eagles tailgate event for ESPN, an announcement that elicited cheers from the audience. “I’m really fired up to be there for that,” he added.

Even so, the former Eagles center said he feels “kind of torn” about the decision over which game to attend. “I want to be there for the Eagles,” he said. “I also want to be there for my brother. I don’t know how many more he has.”

Travis, 35, is aspiring to make it to the Super Bowl again this year. If the Chiefs win on Sunday, the team will advance to their third consecutive NFL final on Sunday, Feb. 9. The team won the last two Super Bowls in 2023 and 2024.

Jason wrapped up his comments about his Sunday game plans by hinting that he “might” be able to work out the timing so that he can attend both. “We’re kind of flying by the seat of our pants,” he said.

Next: Did Travis Kelce Just Drop a Subtle Hint About Retirement?

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce recently opened up about his mixed feelings regarding attending his brother Travis Kelce’s next NFL game with the Kansas City Chiefs. In a candid interview, Jason shared that while he is incredibly proud of his brother’s success and accomplishments on the field, he also feels a sense of conflict when it comes to watching him play.

Jason explained that as a fierce competitor himself, it’s difficult for him to fully embrace the idea of rooting for his brother’s team when they are facing off against his own. The sibling rivalry adds an extra layer of complexity to their relationship, making it challenging for Jason to fully immerse himself in the excitement of watching Travis play.

Despite his internal conflict, Jason emphasized that his love and support for his brother are unwavering. He expressed his admiration for Travis’s talent and dedication to the game, and acknowledged the unique bond they share as brothers in the NFL.

As Jason grapples with his conflicting emotions, one thing is certain – the Kelce brothers will continue to support each other both on and off the field, no matter the circumstances.

  • Jason Kelce says Eagles are ‘better at every position’ than Commanders

Former Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center thinks his former team is “better at every position” than the Washington Commanders ahead of Sunday’s NFC championship.

Kelce joined the 94 WIP Morning Show on Wednesday to preview the NFC championship.

“I have not expected this Commanders team to be at this point all season long,” Kelce said.

“I think they have a tremendous quarterback who’s played really well as a rookie. And their coaches have done a phenomenal job. I think as players, they are…they have good players. I wouldn’t say, like, I’ll be very candid, I think the Eagles are better at every position. Like, I don’t know that there is one position, if you put the two rosters, the depth charts next to each other, that I would take the Washington player over the Eagle player. And that is a very honest assessment. I think that the Eagles are loaded, and Washington, to their credit, they play extremely well as a team. Dan Quinn is a fantastic coach. They scheme things well, they’ve always….Dan has always schemed us well, even in Dallas. I didn’t think that Dallas was particularly that good on defense last year and they played us really tough in Dallas. So, they’re well coached, they play as a unit, they make minimal mistakes.”

Kelce is an analyst, an excellent analyst. He’s also a former Eagle. Kelce just retired after the 2023 season, spending his entire 13-year career in Philaedelphia, where he was a six-time All Pro.

As far as his analysis, he’s largely correct. The Eagles are ahead of the Commanders when it comes to their rosters. Ron Rivera did a number on Washington’s roster, but Adam Peters made massive strides in his first season as the Commanders’ general manager.

Where Kelce lost us was with the quarterback position. No one is taking Jalen Hurts over Jayden Daniels. No one. If you polled 32 general managers and had them pick one to build around, who do you think they are picking?

Washington’s linebackers are also better and things are much closer at other positions than some would like to admit. However, Philadelphia’s advantage is on its offensive and defensive lines. The Eagles have the clear advantages here.

After his comments, Kelce took to X to offer the following statement, praising Daniels and Washington.

    So, was Kelce backtracking?

There was nothing wrong with what he said, it is his opinion. But you can bet Washington players have already heard about it.

The Commanders and Eagles play at 3:00 p.m. ET on Sunday in the NFC championship game.

This article originally appeared on Commanders Wire: Jason Kelce says Eagles are ‘better at every position’ than Commanders

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce made a bold statement in a recent interview, declaring that his team is superior to the Washington Commanders at every position on the field. Kelce, known for his fiery passion and competitive spirit, didn’t hold back in expressing his confidence in the Eagles’ roster.

In the interview, Kelce emphasized the depth and talent on the Eagles’ roster, pointing to standout players at each position group. From the dynamic duo of Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith in the passing game to the stout defensive line led by Fletcher Cox and Josh Sweat, Kelce believes the Eagles have the edge over their division rival.

Kelce’s declaration is sure to ruffle some feathers in Washington, as the Commanders have made significant upgrades to their roster this offseason, including the addition of veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and standout wide receiver Curtis Samuel.

Only time will tell if Kelce’s bold claim holds true on the field, but one thing is for certain: the Eagles-Commanders matchups this season are sure to be heated and highly competitive. Fans on both sides will be eagerly anticipating the showdowns between these NFC East rivals.

  • Jason Kelce fans the flames with brutal assessment of Commanders’ roster

There is no love lost between the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles. This weekend’s NFC Championship game has more significance, but it’s still a fierce division rivalry that ensures no quarter will be given by either club.

Jason Kelce was a constant thorn in the Commanders’ side before his retirement following the 2023 campaign. The future Pro Football Hall of Fame center walked away from the game and is thriving across the media. But the Philadelphia roots run deep.

Jason Kelce throws shade at Commanders roster before NFC Championship game

Kelce didn’t hesitate to fan the flames heading into a pivotal final-four showdown at Lincoln Financial Field. The player-turned-analyst praised the Commanders for a superb run to reach this point. However, he threw shade at the talent at Dan Quinn’s disposal compared to his old employers.

“I have not expected this Commanders’ team to be in this position all season long. I think that they have a tremendous quarterback who’s played really well as a rookie. And their coaches have done a phenomenal job. They have good players. I’ll be very candid… I think the Eagles are better at every position. I don’t know if there is one position — if you put the two rosters, the depth charts — next to each other, that I would take the Washington player over the Eagle player. And that is a very honest assessment.”

    Jason Kelce

Kelce later went on to say it’ll be a tough game. The Commanders are well coached under Quinn and they make very few mistakes. He also highlighted their ability to sustain drives with jaw-dropping efficiency on fourth down. Even so, he’s highly confident that his beloved Eagles can get the job done comfortably to reach the Super Bowl.

This is more bulletin board material for the Commanders. They’ve been written off and, in some cases, completely dismissed throughout the regular-season campaign and in the playoffs. They’ve passed every challenge so far. Don’t count them out from doing the same again.

The Commanders and Eagles are familiar with one another. There will be a few new wrinkles from both teams, but this is all about winning individual battles and plowing through adversity as a team.

That’s something Kelce didn’t take into account. The Commanders are battle-hardened. They almost always come through when the game is on the line and never back down from a fight. This sort of attitude or resolve in high-pressure situations won’t be found on any depth chart.

Washington doesn’t need any more motivation. They haven’t been in this situation for more than three decades. Seizing the moment and silencing their doubters one more time on the road are the primary objectives.

Kelce’s comments perfectly depict the feeling about Washington among Eagles fans. Shutting them up and confirming NFC East supremacy only sweetens the pot.

While the Eagles were expected to be in this situation, that guarantees nothing. They still have to go out and earn it. They have also lost to the Commanders already this season. Not bad for a team supposedly talent-deficient compared to Philadelphia in every area.

Let’s hope Kelce will be eating a large slice of humble pie when it’s all said and done.

    More Commanders news and analysis

In a recent interview, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce didn’t hold back when discussing the Washington Commanders’ roster. Kelce, known for his fiery personality and outspoken nature, didn’t mince words when giving his assessment of the team’s talent.

“Let’s be real here, the Commanders’ roster is lacking in nearly every position,” Kelce said. “They have a few standout players, sure, but overall, they are severely lacking in depth and talent. It’s going to be a tough road ahead for them if they don’t make some serious upgrades.”

Kelce went on to criticize the Commanders’ front office for their lack of aggressive moves in the offseason, stating that they needed to do more to compete in the highly competitive NFC East division.

“Look, I respect their efforts, but they need to step up their game if they want to be contenders,” Kelce added. “I’m not one to sugarcoat things, and right now, the Commanders are not in a position to make a serious playoff run.”

It’s clear that Kelce’s comments have added fuel to the fire in the longstanding rivalry between the Eagles and the Commanders. Fans on both sides are sure to be buzzing about Kelce’s brutal assessment of Washington’s roster, and it will be interesting to see how the Commanders respond on the field.
