  • Fox News Gives Charlie Kirk Profane Welcome in Hot Mic Gaffe

Laura Ingraham was left red-faced after an awkward hot mic moment as she introduced Charlie Kirk on her Fox News show.

A disembodied voice could be heard saying an expletive – “Oh s***!” – as Ingraham launched into a live segment with the conservative commentator.

The Fox host raised her voice in what appeared to be a belated attempt to cover up the hot mic gaffe, but she was unsuccessful.

“Joining me now, someone who knows a little bit about this, Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA founder,” said Ingraham, trying her best to ignore the off-camera interruption.

Being a pro, Ingraham pushed on, saying: “Charlie, it’s great to see you. Do you trust that Zuckerberg and these other CEOs have really turned a corner?”

Kirk gave no indication he heard the voice, answering: “Well, they’ve performatively turned a corner, which is a good first step.”

He continued, saying the environment for Trump’s second administration is very different from his first.

“Just to think that on the dais, you’re going to have Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos, who back in 2017, they were just boycotting the inauguration,” he said. “Back in 2017, the first inauguration was met with resistance, marches, protests, people saying they’re gonna leave the country, fighting Trump tooth and nail…Whereas now in the Trump second term, it’s really the acquiescence. It is the bending of the knee.”

According to a source at Fox, the remark was no reflection on the Turning Point USA founder. Mediaite was told a staffer was reacting after making a mistake with another guest’s microphone.

“The audio operator accidentally slid the wrong fader which was allotted for a different guest. That guest in turn was adjusting his IFB at the time and said, ‘oh s***’ which was accidentally transmitted on the air,” reported the insider.

That didn’t stop social media users from trolling the controversial Kirk.

“In fairness this is the sound i make when Charlie Kirk is on my TV,” journalist Aaron Rupar wrote on X.

“They should introduce all the guests with this audio,” added PatriotTakes.

Fox News has been contacted for comment.

Last November, another Fox host, Bret Baier, also had to deal with a hot mic embarrassment when an off-camera voice could be heard muttering “Oh Lord!” when he was talking about the future of the GOP.

“You know, the question is, what the Republican Party looks like now. It’s a multiracial party, to your point, it’s working class, and maybe it’s the future. I mean, it’s Elon Musk. It is Joe Rogan and podcasts.”

The voice was heard when Baier mentioned Musk’s name.

Fox News Gives Charlie Kirk Profane Welcome in Hot Mic Gaffe

Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was in for a surprise when he made an appearance on Fox News, only to be greeted with a profane welcome in a hot mic gaffe. As the cameras were rolling, an unidentified individual could be heard saying, "Who the f**k invited this guy?" before quickly realizing their mistake.

The incident quickly went viral on social media, with many viewers expressing shock and amusement at the unfiltered moment caught on live television. Kirk, known for his outspoken conservative views, appeared unfazed by the incident and continued with his segment as planned.

Fox News issued a statement apologizing for the language used during the incident, stating that it was not reflective of their standards. However, many viewers couldn’t help but see the humor in the situation, with some even jokingly suggesting that the unidentified individual should be given their own show.

Despite the unexpected welcome, Kirk remained composed and professional throughout his appearance, proving once again that he is a seasoned commentator capable of handling any situation thrown his way. Love him or hate him, there’s no denying that Charlie Kirk knows how to navigate the world of political commentary with ease.

  • Why Kirk Cousins could be an option for the Browns in 2025: Mary Kay Cabot

Why Kirk Cousins could be an option for the Browns in 2025: Mary Kay Cabot

BALTIMORE — As the Browns close out the dismal 2024 season here and look ahead to the future, Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins, benched two games ago in favor of No. 8 overall draft pick Michael Penix, could be one option for their upgraded quarterback room in 2025.

Most expect the Falcons to release Cousins, 36, before paying him a $10 million bonus in March, and he’ll be free to sign with any team. He’ll likely come at a bargain basement price, with the Falcons – who paid him $90 million for his nine starts – on the hook for $27.5 million minus the veteran minimum of $1.255 million that he’ll get from his new team.

With Baker Mayfield’s future in Cleveland uncertain, the Browns may be looking for a new quarterback in 2025. One option that could be on the table is Kirk Cousins.

Cousins has proven himself to be a reliable and consistent quarterback in the NFL, with a strong arm and good decision-making abilities. He has had success with both the Washington Football Team and the Minnesota Vikings, and could bring a veteran presence to the Browns’ offense.

Additionally, Cousins has experience working with Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, who was his offensive coordinator in Minnesota. This existing relationship could help Cousins quickly acclimate to the Browns’ system and potentially lead to success on the field.

While Cousins may not be the flashiest option available, he could provide stability and leadership to the Browns’ quarterback position in 2025. Keep an eye on this potential option as the offseason approaches.

  • Browns will consider Kirk Cousins after Deshaun Watson disaster

Browns will consider Kirk Cousins after Deshaun Watson disaster

The bar for quarterback play is so low in Cleveland that another team’s benched disaster may be the best option for the Browns.

Kirk Cousins will be on the team’s radar as competition for embattled starter Deshaun Watson, should the Falcons move on from him this offseason, a team source told ESPN.

The source said the team is expected to look into “any veteran with starter’s talent” and said the “working theory” in NFL circles is the team attempts to hold a competition for the starting job next season

The Browns are paying the price for their decision to fully guarantee Watson’s $230 million contract since the 29-year-old is no longer an elite quarterback and, one could argue, barely a starter.

While teams like the Giants moved on from Daniel Jones and even the Falcons benched Cousins for rookie Michael Penix Jr., Cleveland is in a tougher spot since they have to pay Watson every cent of his massive guaranteed salary.

To pay another quarterback — even backups like Tyrod Taylor make decent money — would kill their cap even further.

The Browns could owe $92 million in cash and receive $119 million in dead salary cap if they cut Watson after June 1 and $173 million in cap space if before then, per ESPN.

However, they can look to follow what Pittsburgh did this offseason with Russell Wilson in terms of offering a potential starting job to a quarterback being paid by another team (Denver, in Wilson’s case).

    And that’s where Cousins enters.

The Falcons gave the 36-year-old a four-year, $180 million deal with $100 million guaranteed this past offseason, and he made it through just 15 games before being sent to the bench.

With Atlanta taking Penix Jr. in the first round and turning to him late in the season, the writing is on the wall that Cousins’ time is up.

The Falcons could cut Cousins this offseason, which would then make him all the more attractive since the Browns could sign him for the veteran’s minimum.

“Holding on just because of the money will only prolong the inevitable,” an NFL national scout told ESPN. “You saw what Denver did, and they are doing OK. The Browns would just have to do that on a bigger scale.”

It’s possible the Browns could choose a quarterback in the draft since Cleveland holds the No. 3 pick entering Week 18.

But there are questions about this quarterback class and the Browns could use help all over the roster. The Browns could also, in theory, have Cousins and Watson guide a touted prospect.

The one drawback to this scenario is that Cousins may not be good anymore.

Cousins threw 18 touchdowns to 16 interceptions this season but struggled before his benching in his first season back after tearing his Achilles.

However, those numbers seem Pro Bowl caliber compared to Watson’s five touchdowns and three interceptions before he suffered his own Achilles tear in Week 7.

Cousins has also worked with Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski in Minnesota, and perhaps the Browns’ coach is better suited to help him return to form than the Atlanta coaches.

In the wake of the Deshaun Watson disaster, the Cleveland Browns are reportedly considering quarterback Kirk Cousins as a potential replacement. After missing out on their top choice in Watson, the Browns are exploring all options to fill their quarterback void.

Cousins, who is currently under contract with the Minnesota Vikings, has been a consistent performer throughout his career. Known for his accuracy and decision-making, Cousins could provide the stability and leadership that the Browns desperately need at the quarterback position.

While the Vikings may be hesitant to part ways with Cousins, the opportunity to acquire additional assets in a potential trade could be enticing. With the Browns in need of a reliable starter, Cousins could be a strong candidate to lead the team to success.

As the Browns weigh their options in the aftermath of the Watson situation, Cousins remains a viable option to consider. Stay tuned for further updates on the quarterback situation in Cleveland.

  • Falcons Believe Kirk Cousins’ Time as a Quarterback is Running Out

Falcons Believe Kirk Cousins’ Time as a Quarterback is Running Out

The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly eyeing Washington Football Team quarterback Kirk Cousins as a potential target in the upcoming offseason. According to sources close to the team, the Falcons believe that Cousins’ time as a starting quarterback in the NFL is running out, and they see him as a potential short-term solution to their quarterback woes.

Cousins, who has been a polarizing figure in the league for several years now, has had his fair share of ups and downs as a starting quarterback. While he has put up impressive numbers and shown flashes of brilliance at times, he has also been criticized for his inconsistency and inability to win in clutch situations. Despite this, the Falcons believe that Cousins could be a valuable addition to their roster, especially given their current struggles at the quarterback position.

The Falcons are currently in the midst of a disappointing season, with a record of 4-7 and their playoff hopes dwindling rapidly. Starting quarterback Matt Ryan has also come under fire for his lackluster performance this season, leading many to question whether he is still the long-term answer for the team. With Ryan’s future uncertain, the Falcons are exploring all options to improve their quarterback situation, including potentially bringing in Cousins.

While some may question the wisdom of targeting a quarterback like Cousins, who is already 33 years old and has shown signs of decline in recent years, the Falcons believe that he still has enough left in the tank to make a positive impact on their team. Cousins’ experience and leadership could provide a much-needed boost to a Falcons team that has struggled to find consistency on offense this season.

Of course, bringing in Cousins would not come without its risks. The Falcons would likely have to part ways with significant assets to acquire him, whether through a trade or free agency. Additionally, there is no guarantee that Cousins would be able to turn things around for the Falcons and lead them to success in the future.

Ultimately, the decision to pursue Kirk Cousins will come down to the Falcons’ front office and coaching staff. While there are certainly risks involved, the Falcons believe that Cousins could be the answer to their quarterback woes and help propel them back into playoff contention. Only time will tell if their gamble on Cousins will pay off, but one thing is for certain – the Falcons are willing to take a chance on him as they look to turn their season around.

  • Kirk Cousins on the Outs? Falcons Believe He Can’t Keep Up as Quarterback

Kirk Cousins on the Outs? Falcons Believe He Can’t Keep Up as Quarterback

Kirk Cousins has been a polarizing figure in the NFL since he entered the league in 2012. While he has shown flashes of brilliance at times, he has also been criticized for his inconsistency and lack of clutch performances in big moments. Now, it seems that the Atlanta Falcons may be joining the chorus of those who doubt Cousins’ ability to lead a team to success as a starting quarterback.

The Falcons made waves in the offseason when they traded for Cousins, giving up a significant amount of draft capital to acquire the veteran signal-caller. Many believed that Cousins could be the missing piece that would help the Falcons turn their fortunes around and make a deep playoff run. However, as the season has progressed, it has become increasingly clear that Cousins may not be the answer the Falcons were looking for.

One of the main concerns surrounding Cousins is his inability to consistently perform at a high level under pressure. In crucial moments, Cousins has often come up short, making costly mistakes that have cost his team games. This lack of composure in key situations has raised doubts about whether Cousins has what it takes to lead a team to victory when it matters most.

Additionally, Cousins’ lack of mobility has also been cited as a major drawback by his critics. In today’s NFL, where dual-threat quarterbacks are becoming increasingly common, Cousins’ limited ability to extend plays and make things happen with his legs has put him at a disadvantage compared to other quarterbacks in the league.

Furthermore, Cousins’ hefty contract has also come under scrutiny, with many questioning whether he is worth the investment the Falcons made in acquiring him. With a salary cap hit that ranks among the highest in the league, Cousins’ performance on the field has not justified the financial commitment the Falcons made to bring him in.

As the Falcons continue to struggle and fall further out of playoff contention, it is becoming increasingly clear that Cousins may not be the long-term solution at quarterback that the team had hoped for. While he may have his moments of brilliance, it seems that Cousins’ shortcomings may ultimately outweigh his strengths in the eyes of the Falcons’ coaching staff and front office.

In the end, only time will tell whether Cousins can prove his doubters wrong and solidify his place as a reliable starting quarterback in the NFL. But for now, it appears that the Falcons believe he may not be able to keep up as their quarterback of the future.

  • Falcons Raise Questions About Kirk Cousins’ Viability as a Quarterback

Falcons Raise Questions About Kirk Cousins’ Viability as a Quarterback

The Atlanta Falcons raised some serious questions about Kirk Cousins’ viability as a starting quarterback in the NFL after their dominant performance against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Cousins, who is in his third season with the Vikings, has been a polarizing figure among football fans and analysts alike. While he has put up impressive statistics throughout his career, there have been lingering doubts about his ability to perform in crucial moments and lead his team to victory.

The Falcons’ defense exposed some of Cousins’ weaknesses in their 40-23 win over the Vikings. Cousins threw three interceptions, including a pick-six that gave Atlanta an early lead. He looked rattled and indecisive in the pocket, often holding onto the ball too long and making poor decisions under pressure.

One of the biggest concerns about Cousins is his performance in prime time games and against top-tier competition. In his career, Cousins has a dismal record of 7-29 against teams with a winning record, and he has a reputation for coming up short in big games.

The Falcons game was a prime example of Cousins’ struggles in high-pressure situations. With the Vikings trailing by multiple scores in the second half, Cousins failed to rally his team and make a comeback. Instead, he continued to make costly mistakes that ultimately sealed the Vikings’ fate.

While Cousins has shown flashes of brilliance throughout his career, performances like the one against the Falcons raise serious doubts about his ability to lead a team to playoff success. The Vikings invested heavily in Cousins when they signed him to a three-year, $84 million contract in 2018, but it remains to be seen if he can live up to the expectations that come with being a franchise quarterback.

In the aftermath of the loss to the Falcons, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer expressed frustration with Cousins’ performance, stating that the team needs better play from the quarterback position in order to be successful. This has led to speculation that the Vikings may be considering making a change at quarterback in the near future.

Overall, the Falcons’ dominant win over the Vikings has reignited the debate about Kirk Cousins’ viability as a starting quarterback in the NFL. While he has shown flashes of talent and potential, his inconsistent play and struggles in big moments continue to raise doubts about his ability to lead a team to success. Only time will tell if Cousins can silence his critics and prove that he is worthy of being a franchise quarterback.

Are Kirk Cousins’ Days as a Quarterback Numbered? Falcons Weigh In

Kirk Cousins, the quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, has been a hot topic of conversation in the NFL recently. With the Vikings struggling this season and Cousins’ performance coming under scrutiny, many are wondering if his days as a starting quarterback are numbered.

One team that has been linked to Cousins in trade rumors is the Atlanta Falcons. With Matt Ryan aging and the Falcons in need of a quarterback of the future, speculation has been swirling that they could make a move for Cousins.

Falcons head coach Arthur Smith has been coy when asked about the possibility of acquiring Cousins, but he did acknowledge that he is always looking to improve the team at every position. “Kirk is a talented quarterback and has had success in this league,” Smith said. “But at the end of the day, we have to do what is best for the Atlanta Falcons.”

Some Falcons players have also weighed in on the potential of Cousins joining the team. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley expressed confidence in Cousins’ abilities, saying, “I think Kirk is a great quarterback and would be a valuable addition to our team. He has proven himself in this league and could help us win games.”

However, not everyone is convinced that Cousins is the answer for the Falcons. Some critics point to his inconsistency and high salary as reasons why Atlanta should steer clear of making a move for him.

Ultimately, the decision on Cousins’ future as a quarterback will come down to the Vikings and potentially any interested teams like the Falcons. As the NFL season progresses, it will be interesting to see if Cousins remains a starter or if he will be on the move to a new team. Only time will tell if his days as a quarterback are truly numbered.

Falcons Express Concerns About Kirk Cousins’ Quarterbacking Future

The Atlanta Falcons have expressed concerns about Kirk Cousins’ quarterbacking future, according to reports from NFL insiders. Cousins, who currently plays for the Minnesota Vikings, has been a topic of conversation in recent weeks as his performance on the field has raised questions about his long-term viability as a starting quarterback in the league.

Cousins, who signed a lucrative contract with the Vikings in 2018, has failed to live up to the expectations that came with his hefty price tag. While he has put up solid numbers in terms of passing yards and touchdowns, his overall performance has been inconsistent at best. The Falcons, who are in need of a quarterback themselves after parting ways with longtime starter Matt Ryan, have reportedly been monitoring Cousins’ situation closely.

One of the main concerns surrounding Cousins is his inability to perform in clutch situations. He has a reputation for struggling in big games and has been criticized for his lack of success in playoff matchups. This has led some to question whether he has what it takes to lead a team to a championship, something that the Falcons are surely considering as they evaluate their options at the quarterback position.

Additionally, Cousins’ age is another factor that the Falcons are taking into account. At 33 years old, he is no longer a young quarterback and there are doubts about how much longer he can continue to perform at a high level. With the Falcons looking to build for the future, they may be hesitant to invest in a quarterback who may only have a few good years left in him.

Despite these concerns, Cousins still has his supporters who believe that he can be a successful quarterback in the right system. He has shown flashes of brilliance throughout his career and has the potential to be a solid starter for a team in need of a quarterback.

Ultimately, the decision on Cousins’ future will come down to the Falcons’ front office and coaching staff. They will need to weigh the pros and cons of pursuing Cousins as a potential quarterback option and decide whether he is the right fit for their team moving forward.

In the meantime, Cousins will continue to face scrutiny and speculation about his future in the league. Whether he remains with the Vikings or finds a new team, it is clear that his quarterbacking future is uncertain and will be a topic of conversation for the foreseeable future.

Kirk Cousins Facing Doubt from Falcons: Can He Still Play Quarterback?

Kirk Cousins has been a polarizing figure in the NFL since he entered the league in 2012. While he has had moments of brilliance, there have also been times when he has left fans and analysts scratching their heads. Now, as he faces doubt from the Atlanta Falcons, the question on everyone’s mind is: Can he still play quarterback at a high level?

Cousins’ career has been a rollercoaster ride, to say the least. He has shown flashes of greatness, such as when he led the Minnesota Vikings to the playoffs in 2019. However, he has also had his fair share of struggles, including a disappointing 2020 season where he threw 13 interceptions and failed to lead the Vikings to the postseason.

Now, with the Falcons questioning his ability to play quarterback, Cousins finds himself under the microscope once again. The Falcons, who are in desperate need of a quarterback after trading away Matt Ryan, have reportedly expressed interest in Cousins. However, there are concerns about whether he is the right fit for the team.

One of the main criticisms of Cousins is his inconsistency. While he has shown that he can be a capable starter in the league, there are times when he seems to crumble under pressure. His decision-making can be questionable, and he has a tendency to turn the ball over in crucial moments. These are all red flags for a team like the Falcons, who are looking for a reliable quarterback to lead their offense.

Another issue that has plagued Cousins throughout his career is his performance in big games. He has a reputation for struggling in primetime matchups and playoff games, which has led many to question whether he has what it takes to win when it matters most. This is a concern that the Falcons will surely take into consideration as they weigh their options at the quarterback position.

Despite the doubt surrounding him, Cousins remains confident in his abilities. He has stated in interviews that he believes he can still play at a high level and lead a team to success. Whether he will get the opportunity to prove himself with the Falcons remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: the pressure is on for Cousins to show that he is still a capable quarterback in the NFL. Only time will tell if he can rise to the occasion and silence his critics once and for all.

  • Falcons Question Kirk Cousins’ Physical Ability to Lead as Quarterback

Falcons Question Kirk Cousins’ Physical Ability to Lead as Quarterback

The Atlanta Falcons are heading into the 2021 NFL season with a lot of uncertainty at the quarterback position. After parting ways with longtime starter Matt Ryan, the team signed Kirk Cousins to take over the reins as the new signal-caller.

While Cousins has had a successful career in the NFL, there are some doubts among Falcons fans and analysts about his physical ability to lead the team. Cousins is known for his accuracy and decision-making, but questions have been raised about his arm strength and mobility, two key attributes for a successful quarterback in today’s NFL.

One of the biggest concerns surrounding Cousins is his lack of mobility in the pocket. In an era where dual-threat quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson are thriving, Cousins’ limited ability to extend plays and make things happen with his legs could be a liability for the Falcons offense. Additionally, his tendency to hold onto the ball for too long can lead to sacks and turnovers, something that could hurt the team’s chances of winning games.

Another area of concern for the Falcons is Cousins’ arm strength. While he is capable of making all the throws required of an NFL quarterback, there are questions about his ability to consistently push the ball downfield and stretch the defense. This could limit the team’s offensive potential and make it easier for opposing defenses to game plan against them.

Despite these concerns, Cousins does bring a level of experience and leadership to the Falcons that could benefit the team. He has proven to be a capable starter in the league and has led his teams to multiple playoff appearances. His work ethic and dedication to his craft are also well-documented, which could help instill a winning culture in Atlanta.

Ultimately, the success of the Falcons with Cousins at quarterback will depend on how well he can adapt to the team’s offensive system and play to his strengths. If he can overcome his physical limitations and make smart decisions on the field, the Falcons could surprise some people and compete for a playoff spot in the upcoming season. However, if his shortcomings become too much to overcome, it could be a long year for Atlanta fans. Only time will tell if Cousins is the right man to lead the Falcons into the future.
