Ravens legend Ray Lewis questions Dolphins’ leadership heading into 2025 season: “What’s the identity?”
Ray Lewis is considered one of the greatest linebackers to ever step on a football field, earning induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. While he spent his entire professional career as a member of the Baltimore Ravens, the two-time Super Bowl champion has ties to the Miami area. He grew up in nearby Lakeland and played college football for the Miami (FL) Hurricanes.
On Sunday, CBS News’ Samantha Rivera asked Lewis about the Miami Dolphins’ next steps following a disappointing 2024 season. He said:
“Sometimes you got to go through these rebuilding phases. I think when you have a lot of rock stars, superstars, I would take more chemistry than I would take rock stars. Give me people I can get to work together, and then it all pans itself out.”

“But they got so many personalities, so many people, and then so many directions that they really don’t know which, like, when you think of the Dolphins, what’s the identity? Speed? Okay, great, but that’s a tangible thing. That’s a talent. I think community. What does it mean to be as a team? When we come in there, who’s the leader? There’s no defined leader.”
The Dolphins had a disappointing year in 2024, finishing just 8-9, despite entering the year with the 12th-best odds to win the Super Bowl. It marked their worst finish since the 2019 season. To make matters worse, star wide receiver Tyreek Hill implied that he would like to play elsewhere following the season’s final game, with many accusing him of quitting on the team during the game.

Ray Lewis has remained in the public spotlight since retiring from the NFL following the 2012 season. On Thursday, he announced his latest venture, a cryptocurrency coin, tweeting:
“Excited to announce what we are working on for $FIT- Now the details still have to get ironed out. But we’re going to shoot for a fitness app that you can earn $FIT for working out, a vitamin and supplement store incorporating $FIT, and discounted medical and mental health testing incorporating $FIT as well.
“These things I am working on implementing will be generating revenues which can be used to buyback $FIT to keep it all going and push the price up at the same time.” …
Lewis’ coin is trading at 0.003457, with a 25.0% increase over the past 24 hours. According to a tweet from the Pro Football Hall of Famer, the coin was featured in Forbes Crypto.

Report: Texans interview Bucs QBs coach Thad Lewis
Buccaneers quarterbacks coach Thad Lewis has interviewed for the Texans’ offensive coordinator job, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports.
Lewis received several requests for offensive coordinator interviews but declined the others, per Rapoport.
Lewis and DeMeco Ryans were teammates with the 2015 Eagles.
Lewis spent time with eight teams over eight seasons in his playing career as a quarterback. Immediately after retiring as a player, Lewis began coaching.
He spent two seasons at UCLA (2018-19) as an offensive analyst under Chip Kelly before interning with the Bucs in 2020.
Lewis was the assistant wide receivers coach in Tampa Bay in 2021-22 before a promotion to quarterbacks coach in 2023.
The Texans are seeking to replace Bobby Slowik, who was fired last week, and the presence of franchise quarterback C.J. Stroud makes the job an attractive one.
The Houston Texans have reportedly interviewed Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterbacks coach Thad Lewis for their vacant head coaching position.Lewis, who has been with the Buccaneers since 2019, has worked closely with star quarterback Tom Brady and played a key role in his success with the team. First day as a Scuderia Ferrari HP driver for Lewis
Lewis Hamilton’s Scuderia Ferrari HP adventure is now underway. Early this morning, the seven-time world champion arrived at the team’s Maranello headquarters at via Enzo Ferrari 27. From there he went to the Fiorano track where, against the backdrop of Enzo Ferrari’s house, in the small square now named after the only other seven-time Formula 1 world champion, Michael Schumacher, he was met by Team Principal, Fred Vasseur and Ferrari CEO, Benedetto Vigna. The traditional “first day” photos were taken there and even the weather helped to make Lewis feel at home, with some typically British overcast skies and drizzle. Also on hand was a Ferrari F40, Lewis’ favourite supercar.
Meetings and total immersion. Next on Lewis’ agenda was a short visit to the Fiorano house and the pit garage, with Vasseur and Vigna, including a look at the famous office, from where Enzo Ferrari would watch his team at work. Hamilton then returned to the Scuderia HQ, where he met the management team and Piero Ferrari, before embarking on a daylong total immersion programme, visiting all the various departments to get to know the team. The work continues tomorrow with more technical meetings and briefings as preparations get underway for what will be a very busy season.

Ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s first season with Ferrari, fans have been reminded of his debut F1 campaign, when he signed for McLaren.
In a sensational move, Lewis Hamilton joined Ferrari in 2025 on a multi-year contract worth more than 40 million Pounds per year. The British driver replaced Carlos Sainz Jr. and will partner Charles Leclerc this season.

According to reports, he was testing the McLaren MP4-22 in Valencia ahead of his debut, and he lost control of the car on the pit, while travelling at a speed of up to 185mph. There is no video of the accident but reports state that Hamilton spun backwards through a gravel trap and crashed into a tyre wall.
‘Not repairable’ accident
The crash took place just 10 days after the MP4-22 was unveiled to the public. Meanwhile, a Ferrari spokesperson had said, “Lewis was unhurt but the MP4-22 will not be repairable in Valencia. The cause of the accident is being investigated.”
Meanwhile, Hamilton said, “Unfortunately, these things happen in the sport. I am completely fine and I’m looking forward to getting back to testing next week.
When he signed for McLaren in 2007, he was the first black driver to compete in Formula One at the Australian Grand Prix. In his debut season, he won four races and also set multiple records. He got his maiden title in 2008, and then signed for Mercedes in 2013.
There has been no such accidents during his practice with Ferrari, and he will get his new season underway at the Australian Grand Prix in mid-March.
Hamilton’s move to Ferrari also took everyone by surprise, and it is also the first time in his career, that he won’t drive for a Mercedes-powered team. He ended last season with a career-lowest seventh position in the standings, 22 points behind teammate Russell. His departure also ended the most successful driver-constructor partnership in F1 history.

A gut feeling drove Lewis Hamilton to sign for Ferrari, Formula One’s most successful driver told LinkedIn on Thursday, at the start of his bid to return the sport’s most successful team to former glories.
Hamilton made his track debut for Ferrari on Wednesday, almost a year after announcing his shock decision to leave Mercedes, where he won six of his seven world championships.
“Ultimately, every new opportunity is a total leap of faith. None of us can predict the future so changing jobs, or in my case teams, is always going to come with some level of risk,” Hamilton said in an interview for LinkedIn’s “Get Hired” newsletter on Thursday.
“But I believe there’s more of a risk in staying somewhere you’re comfortable and in getting complacent.”
The 40-year-old Briton completed his first test drive for the Italian team, who have not won a world driver’s title since 2007, at their home base in Maranello.
“Call it instinct or a gut feeling, but I knew that signing with Ferrari was the right move for me and that it would give me the challenge I needed,” Hamilton said.
“There are so many incredible people in the team that I can’t wait to work with, and I have total faith that we’ll achieve great things together.”
The F1 season begins with the Australian Grand Prix from March 14-16.
