    The Detroit Lions’ NFC Divisional Round home game against the Washington Commanders featured a special guest.

    Former professional basketball player LiAngelo Ball—the brother of Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball and Charlotte Hornets standout LaMelo Ball—performed his viral smash hit “Tweaker” during Saturday night’s game:

    This comes after Ball was seen performing the song during a soundcheck hours before kickoff at Ford Field.

    The Lions celebrated earning the NFC No. 1 seed by blasting “Tweaker” in their locker room, so it’s no surprise Ball performed on Saturday. The song was officially released on Jan. 4 and debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

    Before starting a burgeoning music career, Ball played in the NBA G-League and in Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Professional in Mexico. He was a member of the Detroit Pistons and Charlotte Hornets organizations during his time in the G-League.

    Shams Charania of ESPN reported that Ball has signed a deal with Def Jam and Universal Music Group worth up to $13 million.

    The Lions finished the 2024 season with a 15-2 record and a Week 18 victory over the then-14-2 Minnesota Vikings sealed the top seed and a bye into the Divisional Round.





    In a recent video that surfaced online, LiAngelo Ball was seen performing his hit song ‘Tweaker’ at Ford Field before the Lions faced off against the Commanders.     Detroit — Yes, that LiAngelo Ball.

    Ball, the brother of NBA players LaMelo (Charlotte Hornets) and Lonzo (Chicago Bulls), performed his rap song, “Tweaker,” during a timeout in the action of Saturday night’s divisional round between the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders at Ford Field.

    A three-star recruit coming out of high school, Ball attempted a career in basketball before trying his hand at music. Tweaker was released in January, and it’s been met with joy from many athletes.     LiAngelo Ball is back in the headlines this week, with the basketball player sharing some fashionable snaps of himself as he teased his new track “Tweaker.”

    LiAngelo, who is the brother of NBA stars Lonzo and LaMelo Ball, can be seen posing beside a sleek, bottle-green Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in an Instagram post on Friday. According to “AventuraChryslerJeepDodgeRam,” a dealership in Florida, the luxury car is valued at $63,638 and is known for its horsepower and acceleration.

    Ball shared the following message to go with the collection of pics:

    “I might swerve, bend tht corner, WOAHOOOHH#G3#TWEAKER.”

    Ball also teased the release of his new track, which he told fans to look out for on “Worldstar.”

    LiAngelo Ball’s song “Tweaker” was first shared on a livestream with popular content creator N3on. In the short clip, the two can be seen riding around Los Angeles with Ball blasting the song on in his car.

    The song was later released on the “WorldstarHipHop” YouTube channel and has already racked up over 650,000 views.

    Alongside his brothers Lonzo Ball and LaMelo Ball, LiAngelo was a star basketball player at Chino Hills High School in California. The 6-foot-6 guard/forward had interest from college programs but chose to play professionally overseas in Lithuania before returning to try his luck in the G League.

    Meanwhile, Lonzo Ball was the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft and has gone on to play for the Los Angeles Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans and Chicago Bulls. LaMelo Ball has developed into one of the league’s elite scorers and is thriving in his fifth season with the Charlotte Hornets.

    In November, LiAngelo and Lonzo Ball were both guests on Angel Reese’s podcast “Unapologetically Angel,” and the WNBA star had some tough questions in store for the two. The Ball brothers were asked to name their Mount Rushmore of NBA players, and their answers definitely surprised a few.

    LiAngelo Ball admitted that it was hard to select his four all-time greatest NBA players but went with a final group consisting of Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. For his final pick, he struggled between Kevin Durant and Steph Curry but decided to go with the Phoenix Suns’ 6-foot-11 forward over the Golden State Warriors guard.

    Lonzo opted to go with Jordan, James, Curry and Shaquille O’Neal. His decision to leave out LA Lakers legend Kobe Bryant did raise some eyebrows.
