Earlier this week, Logan Paul sent out a cryptic graphic of himself and his brother Jake (via X) alongside the caption “The moment you’ve waited a decade for… March 27 on [MAX].” Naturally, many fans assumed this post to be an indicator of an upcoming fight between the brothers. As revealed in a Warner Bros. Discovery press release, it was rather a teaser for a new reality series.
The series, titled “Paul American,” will be a MAX original, with its premiere date set for Thursday, March 27. From there, the weekly series will chronicle the lives of Logan and Jake Paul across eight episodes up until its series finale, which is penciled in for May 15. Footage will show a mix of never-before-seen and archival content.
“Everyone thinks they know Jake and Logan Paul – they’re the original superstars of influencer culture and built their brand on being unfiltered. But PAUL AMERICAN goes deeper,” said Nina Rosenstein, Executive Vice President of HBO Programming. “This show uncovers a side of their relationships we’ve never seen, as brothers, sons, partners, as well as Logan’s transition into fatherhood. It’s a raw and unexpected look into their world.”
Initially rising to fame on social media, both Logan and Jake have since expanded their brands to the sports world as well, with Jake venturing into professional boxing. Logan did the same while also joining professional wrestling as a WWE Superstar. In WWE, Logan has notably won the United States Championship; he’s challenged for a world title on multiple occasions as well.
In addition to “Paul American,” MAX is a home to All Elite Wrestling’s weekly shows, “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Collision,” which simulcast on the streaming platform as well as TBS and TNT, respectively. AEW and WWE have been rival companies since the former’s launching in 2019.
Logan Paul, the controversial YouTuber turned WWE star, is set to star in his own reality show on the same streaming service that airs rival wrestling promotion AEW.
The news comes as a surprise to many fans, as Paul has been a polarizing figure in the wrestling world since his debut in WWE earlier this year. However, it seems that the streaming service is willing to take a chance on the social media star and capitalize on his popularity.

During an interview with GreatOffshoreSportsbooks, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle said he could see Paul going on to become World Champion. Angle noted that the YouTube star has been able to pick up pro wrestling quicker than anyone in history, including himself, who is often cited as the benchmark.
“Yes. Yeah, That kid is incredibly talented. I’m a big fan of his. I’ll be honest with you. When he was a boxer, I hated his guts. But I get it now. I know what he was doing. Paul has actually challenged for World Championship gold before, having faced Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel 2022.

Jake Paul knows everything there is to know about his next opponent, apparently.
From influencers to UFC stars to retired Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson, Paul is now expected to fight his older brother Logan this spring.
The Paul brothers got their start on YouTube, the influencers making millions from the success of their channels, branching out into the world on two different but similar paths. Logan and Jake stepped into the boxing ring for the first time in 2018, Jake taking the sport more seriously between the two with a pro record of 11-1, compared to Logan’s 1-1 (plus an exhibition bout vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.).
Jake’s long been criticized for competing against fighters much older than him, but that narrative is out the window in what looks to be a boxing match against Logan, the WWE star one year his elder.
“The moment you’ve waited a decade for… March 27th on [Max],” both Paul brothers announced on their X accounts.
Max, HBO’s widely-popular streaming service, seemingly confirmed the matchup by retweeting the brothers’ posts on its official account.
It is unknown at this time what sport or ruleset the Paul brothers will compete in, though all signs would point to a boxing match given how Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson performed for Netflix as the most-streamed sporting event ever.

American streaming service HBO Max is yet to clarify the details of their March 27 event, although they have reposted Logan and Jake’s posts.
Fans remain sceptical about whether this is merely a promotional campaign for something else given the distinct lack of information provided by the interested parties.
One supporter wrote: “Stop f****** trolling.”
Another tweeted: “No way this happening.”
A third added: “They aren’t fighting. Probably just another podcast.”
Meanwhile, somebody else remarked: “It is probably just a TV show.”
Jake and Logan have enjoyed high-profile runs in boxing after growing up in the spotlight together as content creators.
Their boxing careers started on the same night in 2018 when Logan fought KSI to a draw in Manchester and Jake beat Deji Olatunji on the undercard.
Logan has since shifted his attention to the WWE – where he has previously held the United States title – although he did fight Floyd Mayweather in a crossover clash in 2021 which ended in an automatic draw.

When Tyson pulled out of his originally scheduled fight date with Jake in July 2024 due to an ulcer flare-up, Logan offered to step in and fight his brother.
Taking to X, he wrote: “So Mike Tyson’s out? I’ll step in and we can settle this once and for all @jakepaul.”

Jake Paulannounced Tuesday he will face his brother Logan Paul in a boxing match on Thursday, March 27 on Max.
Jake Paul shared the promotional poster on X, which shows he and his brother engaging in a stare down.
“The moment you’ve waited a decade for… March 27th,” he tweeted.
Jake Paul, 28, is all-in on his boxing career, holding a professional record of 11-1. His lone defeat came against Tommy Fury in February 2023. Jake Paul has since put together a five-fight win streak, none bigger than his unanimous decision victory over Mike Tyson this past November in front of more than 72,000 fans inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Like his younger brother, Logan Paul has also ventured into the boxing world. The 29-year-old is 1-1, with a loss to KSI and a win over Dillon Danis. Those fights were nearly four years apart, the last taking place in October 2023.
Logan Paul has been much more involved with WWE. He made his in-ring debut alongside The Miz in a tag match against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. Logan Paul defeated Rey Mysterio to win the United States Championship at Crown Jewel in November 2023. He has since been on and off television, notably making his return to “WWE Raw” on Monday.

Logan Paul initially looked set to face UFC star Conor McGregor in a boxing match in India later this year. But according to McGregor, the UFC would not grant him permission.
“It is what it is,” McGregor told The Schmo, via Brett Okamoto of ESPN. “The UFC just aren’t into it. The offer was there on the table, in writing. Both athletes will say, ‘He’s not fighting,’ but both [the UFC and WWE] are under the [TKO Group Holdings] banner. UFC and WWE, both rising up. The stock price of TKO Holdings is through the roof. New market in India has opened up and is booming. It was business savvy and business sense to make the fight happen.
“In between this waiting period that we find ourselves in before I can get back to the Octagon, it made perfect sense on the calendar to go ahead with it. The UFC weren’t into it. The WWE, I’m not sure what their interest in it was.”
Instead, it will be Paul vs. Paul — a match a decade in the making.
