  • LeBron James dominates as Lakers rip Knicks who also lose OG Anunoby to injury

The Knicks’ first loss in six games could prove doubly costly.

LeBron James recorded a triple-double Saturday night in what potentially could be his final career game at Madison Square Garden, and the Knicks couldn’t overcome an injury to two-way forward OG Anunoby as their five-game winning streak came to an end with a 128-112 loss to the Lakers.

The defeat was exacerbated by Anunoby suffering a noncontact injury and limping to the locker room with what the Knicks later termed a sprained right foot after he dropped to one knee upon receiving a pass on the perimeter 1:22 into the third quarter.

The 40-year-old James registered his 122nd career triple-double with 33 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds for the Lakers (28-19), who were without injured All-Star center Anthony Davis.

LeBron’s son, rookie Bronny James, even made his MSG debut and scored late in the game after the crowd was chanting his name.

“It speaks to who he is and his career,” Tom Thibodeau said about LeBron James before the game. “Twenty-[two] years to do it the way he’s done it, everywhere he’s been, if he’s on the team they’re a threat. So they always have a chance.

“Obviously Anthony Davis is a huge part of that, as well. But it’s just the way [James] can bring out the best, not only out of himself, but the people who are around him.”

Josh Hart had 26 points, 13 rebounds and 11 against the team that drafted him in 2017 to notch his seventh triple-double of the season.

But leading scorers Jalen Brunson (17 points) and Karl-Anthony Towns (11) combined to shoot 10-for-30 from the floor for the Knicks (32-17). Precious Achiuwa contributed 15 points and 15 boards off the bench.

The Knicks’ remaining strength of schedule entering the game was the highest in the Eastern Conference, with an opponents’ combined winning percentage of .526 over the final 34 games, and tied for fourth-hardest overall in the league, according to Tankathon.

Thibodeau’s team posted a strong finish to complete January with a 9-6 record, and they already had taken care of the Kings, Grizzlies and Nuggets with a fifth straight formidable foe, the Rockets, slated to finish off the five-game homestand Monday night.

Still, James’ teams now have posted a 24-9 record in 33 career games at the Garden in the regular season in his 22-year NBA career. He also played in one playoff series against the Knicks in 2012 with the Heat.

After receiving a respectful ovation during pregame warmups, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer got to the rim right away and scored the first points of the game before adding two assists and a midrange bucket as the Lakers grabbed an early 17-10 lead.

The Knicks pulled even at 23-all on Precious Achiuwa’s three-point play, and the sides were tied 32-32 through 12 minutes.

James finished the period with 13 points and Rui Hachimura had 12 of his 21 points, while five different players netting at least five points for the Knicks, led by seven by Anunoby.

Towns’ 3-pointer gave the Knicks a short-lived two-point lead midway through the second, but former Nets forward Dorian Finney-Smith responded with back-to-back treys to put the Lakers back on top en route to a 59-54 edge at intermission.

After Anunoby departed early in the third, the Lakers pushed their cushion to nine on three free throws by Austin Reaves (27 points).

Miles McBride converted a four-point play before James answered with a triple from the corner.

Hart recorded his 10th assist with a bounce pass to Achiuwa for a dunk and buried a 30-footer at the buzzer to pull the Knicks within 91-89 entering the final period.

But the Lakers opened the fourth on a 13-4 spurt, and Gabe Vincent’s second 3-pointer of the quarter gave them 109-97 advantage with 8:10 remaining.

Hart’s transition dunk off a steal cut the deficit to seven just past the midpoint, but James sank another 3-pointer to get the Lakers’ lead back to double digits.

LeBron James dominates as Lakers rip Knicks who also lose OG Anunoby to injury

In a highly anticipated matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks, LeBron James put on a show as he led the Lakers to a dominant victory. The Lakers came out firing on all cylinders, with James showcasing his elite scoring and playmaking abilities.

Not only did James put up impressive numbers, but he also played a crucial role in getting his teammates involved and setting the tone for the game. The Lakers’ defense was also on point, stifling the Knicks’ offense and forcing turnovers.

Unfortunately for the Knicks, the night took a turn for the worse as OG Anunoby suffered a devastating injury during the game. The loss of Anunoby was a huge blow to the Knicks, as he has been a key contributor on both ends of the floor.

Despite the loss of Anunoby, the Knicks fought hard until the final buzzer, but ultimately fell short against the Lakers. The Lakers’ victory was a testament to their talent and depth, with James leading the charge and proving once again why he is considered one of the greatest players of all time.

Overall, it was a thrilling game that had fans on the edge of their seats, but in the end, it was LeBron James and the Lakers who emerged victorious.

  • Women’s Ashes 2025: England suffer humiliating innings defeat and lose series 16-0

England slumped to an embarrassing defeat by an innings and 122 runs in the one-off Test in Melbourne, handing Australia a 16-0 clean sweep in the Women’s Ashes.

Australia were bowled out for 440 in their first innings after England impressed to take the last five wickets for nine runs in the first session, but still faced a deficit of 270.

Leg-spinner Alana King then ripped through England’s batting once more with 5-53 as the visitors were skittled for 148, helping Australia wrap up yet another dominant win with a day to spare.

It is the first time any team has won the multi-format Ashes 16-0 and has placed enormous pressure upon captain Heather Knight and coach Jon Lewis.

After a tortuous day two spent entirely in the field, with seven catches dropped, England responded positively as Sophie Ecclestone finished with 5-143 after Beth Mooney converted her overnight 98 to become the first Australian woman to score a century in all three formats.

Opener Maia Bouchier’s dismal tour continued as she was bowled by Darcie Brown for one in the first over of England’s reply, but Knight and Tammy Beaumont’s gritty stand of 73 showed much-needed signs of fight.

The introduction of spin – England’s constant nemesis throughout the series – triggered a woeful collapse of eight wickets for 48 runs to end any hopes of them finishing the series with pride.

Knight was caught at short leg for 32 off Ash Gardner, King pinned Nat Sciver-Brunt lbw for 18 before bowling Sophia Dunkley with a sensational fizzing leg-break, and Danni Wyatt-Hodge fell softly by sweeping Gardner straight to short fine leg for two.

Ecclestone withstood 50 balls for her 18 until she was bounced out by Gardner, and after a tantalising passage of play of 11 overs with both spinners on four wickets and one wicket remaining, King had Lauren Filer caught for 14 to complete a memorable five-wicket haul.

The Women’s Ashes 2025 series has come to a devastating end for England, as they suffered a humiliating innings defeat in the final test match, resulting in a 16-0 series loss to Australia.

Despite putting up a valiant effort throughout the series, England just couldn’t match the dominance of the Australian team. The final test match saw England bowled out for a paltry total, with Australia easily chasing down the target to win by an innings and seal the series whitewash.

It was a tough pill to swallow for the England team and their supporters, who had high hopes coming into the series. The Australian team, on the other hand, showed their class and proved why they are the reigning champions of women’s cricket.

The Women’s Ashes 2025 series will go down in history as a one-sided affair, but England will no doubt be looking to bounce back and reclaim the trophy in the future. Congratulations to Australia on their dominant performance and well-deserved victory.

(Photo by Justin K. Aller/Getty Images)

It has begun! Art Rooney II told everyone that while coaching staff changes were coming, the moves wouldn’t be “wholesale.”

Aaron Curry, who has been with the Pittsburgh Steelers as the team’s inside linebackers coach since February 2023, has been hired by the New York Jets as their new linebackers coach.

While no one can deny the inconsistency surrounding the run-stopping duties of the linebacker room in 2024, Curry was hardly the problem behind the defensive struggles as a whole.

Curry is expected to play a major role on the New York Jets’ coaching staff under new head coach Aaron Glenn and new defensive coordinator Steve Wilks.

Will more changes follow Curry’s departure from the Black and Gold? If so, will the Pittsburgh Steelers make the right decision and move on from defensive coordinator Teryl Austin? No one can deny that this 2025 offseason is shaping up to be an exciting one as January comes to a close.

This article originally appeared on Steelers Wire: Steelers lose defensive coach to the New York Jets

The Pittsburgh Steelers have suffered a major blow as their defensive coach has decided to leave the team and join the New York Jets. This unexpected departure has left Steelers fans wondering how the team will adjust and move forward without their key defensive strategist.

The defensive coach, who played a crucial role in shaping the Steelers’ defense over the past few seasons, will now be tasked with revamping the struggling Jets defense. His departure comes at a crucial time for the Steelers, as they are currently in the midst of a playoff push and will need to quickly find a replacement to fill the void left by his absence.

While losing a key member of the coaching staff is never easy, the Steelers will need to regroup and focus on finding a suitable replacement to ensure their defense remains strong and competitive. With the playoffs looming, the team will need to quickly adapt to this unexpected change in order to stay on track and continue their pursuit of a championship.

Only time will tell how this coaching change will impact the Steelers, but one thing is for certain – the team will need to come together and rally around their new defensive coach in order to overcome this setback and continue their quest for success.

  • ‘We will not lose power again’

As electricity costs continue to grow, more and more Americans are considering making the switch to solar.

One such person includes a homeowner on Reddit, who recently made a post on r/solar seeking advice on whether they should make the switch to solar sooner rather than later.

“Should I get solar now?” wrote the homeowner in their post. “I’m concerned that prices all around for solar components and installation are going to increase along with energy costs.”

The homeowner is right to be concerned about the increasing costs of electricity.

A recent study by Bank of America Institute researchers found that in May 2024, the year-over-year inflation rate for electricity prices in the U.S. hit 5.9%, up from 3.8% in January 2024.

Unfortunately, prices are projected to keep rising, too, with the increase in data centers and artificial intelligence facilities being added onto already-strained electrical grids. Industrial onshoring is expected to contribute to rising electricity costs as well.

As for the cost of solar components and installation, solar hopefuls may soon be losing access to government incentives that would save them thousands on solar installation.

Although solar technology is getting cheaper every day thanks to factors such as advancements in technology and increased production scale, federal incentives saving homeowners thousands of dollars on installing solar may soon disappear.

Former President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, which offers rebates for a wide range of energy-saving home improvements, including solar, may soon become unavailable if President Trump follows through on his promises to eliminate the benefits. In other words, homeowners will be forced to pay full price for eco-friendly home upgrades.

With electricity prices on the rise and the impending termination of federal incentives, now is a better time than any to switch to solar.

Plus, the sooner you make the switch, the sooner you can start saving.

By investing in rooftop solar, households can eliminate their electric bills, saving an estimated $25,500 to $33,000 on electricity over the panels’ lifetime, according to Forbes.

One user in the comments of the Reddit post shared how much their rooftop solar was saving them.

“We were averaging $250 per month (hot climate) with electric cars and a less than efficient home which [adds] up to $3,000 per year, and $45,000 over 15 years,” they wrote. “All together after finalizing our electrification projects and home energy efficiency projects, our $27,000 solar investment will offset $730 of expenses per month, $8,760 per year, and $131,400 over the next 15 years.”

Besides the monetary savings solar can grant homeowners, switching to solar is also better for the planet. Unlike traditional electricity production methods driven by dirty energy, solar panels do not produce heat-trapping gases while in use, meaning less planet-warming pollution is released into the atmosphere. In fact, switching to solar can reduce a home’s carbon pollution by up to 80% in one year, according to the Renewable Energy Hub.

For those ready to make the switch, EnergySage, an online resource for finding the best deals on clean energy solutions, can save homeowners even more on solar by providing shoppers with free resources to get quick solar installation estimates and compare quotes.

Reddit users who had already made the switch to solar encouraged the solar-curious homeowner to go for it, sharing their own positive experiences.

“I’ve had mine for 15 years. Best investment ever,” wrote one homeowner.

“We kick off our project in a week!” commented another user. “We’re incredibly excited. From Houston here. We have 3 young kids and a large dog. After the windstorm my wife said I don’t care what it is, but we will not lose power again.”

  • Collin Sexton scores 30, Utah Jazz lose to Golden State Warriors – Deseret News

Going into Golden State knowing that Stephen Curry and Draymond Green are going to be watching from the sidelines would probably boost the spirit of any opponent.

Well, unless you’re the Utah Jazz and you know you’ll be without Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, Walker Kessler, Jordan Clarkson, Johnny Juzang and Cody Williams.

Of course, the Jazz do have one player who has confidence and belief that can’t be tamped down. There is one player on the Jazz roster who probably believes that he could lift the team to a win over just about anybody, that he could carry the weight of 10 basketball teams on his shoulders — Collin Sexton.

And on Tuesday night he nearly did it.

Sexton scored 30 points, on 63.1% shooting, while dishing out four assists and grabbing two steals. He helped to bring the Jazz within one point of the Warriors midway through the fourth quarter, but it ultimately wasn’t enough.

The Jazz guard’s exuberant confidence and incredible performance wasn’t enough to push the Jazz past the Warriors as Utah dropped its seventh straight game and fell to 10-35 on the season with a 114-103 loss to the Warriors.

“I felt like our inability to generate quality 3s tonight hurt us,” Jazz head coach Will Hardy said. “Their switching, they did a good job of trying to take some of that away, and when we did drive, I thought our reads to see the weakside corner weren’t quite as crisp as they’ve been lately, and then they obviously won the possession game.”

The Jazz’s interior defense was pretty good despite not having Kessler on the court (shoutout to Drew Eubanks and Micah Potter) and the team managed to score 56 points in the paint and shoot 51.3% overall.

But those pesky Warriors, even without Curry, are always really good at finding ways to beat teams from long range. Golden State hit 17-of-49 from beyond the arc while the Jazz made good on just 8-of-26.

That volume from deep is what ultimately hurt the Jazz the most (outside of not having enough talent on the court).

“The ball is always moving, guys are always screening for one another,” Sexton said of the Warriors. “That’s a really good team, and you can just tell they’re all selfless.

“It may not be your shot, but I’m going to screen and make sure that you get the shot, or if I cut back door really hard, then the next person might get the shot. I feel like they just do little things like that and it allows everybody to eat, and also it’s fun, because the ball is always popping in there. A really tough team.”

But there was also some late-game execution that highlighted the inexperience of the Jazz compared to some of the players on the Warriors roster.

To be fair, the Warriors were also playing quite a few young players on Tuesday night, but they were flanked by Dennis Schroeder, who led the team with 23 points, Andrew Wiggins, who had 19 and even Kyle Anderson, who didn’t play much but had some important plays down the stretch.

“We’re starting to feel, in multiple instances, that you can play a really good or a good enough 42-to-44 minutes to be in the game, and then at the end, everything has to be tight,” Hardy said.

“I continue to be optimistic about the group as a whole and the growth that we’re showing, the competitiveness that we’re showing, the connectivity that we’re showing, but 48 minutes is a long time. The sustained focus it takes to win is critical, and I’m glad that our group’s getting to feel that.”

In a high-scoring matchup, Collin Sexton put on a show with 30 points, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Utah Jazz to victory as they fell to the Golden State Warriors. Despite Sexton’s impressive performance, the Jazz couldn’t contain the Warriors’ offense and ultimately fell short in a close game. Stay tuned for more updates and analysis on this thrilling matchup. #NBA #UtahJazz #GoldenStateWarriors #CollinSexton

  • Detroit Lions lose TE coach Steve Heiden to Jets

The Detroit Lions will have another coach on the offensive staff to replace this season. As first reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the New York Jets are hiring Lions tight ends coach Steven Heiden to be their next offensive line coach.

It’s an unexpected move, seeing as Heiden played 11 years in the league as a tight end, and has spent most of his coaching career at that same position. However, he did spend a single season as the Arizona Cardinals’ assistant offensive line coach in 2018. Heiden has served as the Lions tight end coach for the past two seasons, joining the team shortly before Detroit drafted tight end Sam LaPorta in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

“Coach Heiden has done a phenomenal job getting those guys ready, particularly a young player like LaPorta,” Lions coach Dan Campbell said of Heiden back in 2023.

Under Heiden, LaPorta set the NFL record for most receptions by a tight end in their first two seasons (146).

Heiden will join former Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn with the Jets, as he continues to build out his staff. Reportedly, that staff may also include Lions pass game coordinator Tanner Engstrand, who is believed to be the top candidate to fill New York’s offensive coordinator position.

It’s been a huge offseason of attrition for the Lions’ coaching staff. Here are all the coaches who have departed or the Lions have parted ways with, per various reports:

    • OC Ben Johnson — Bears head coach
    • Assistant QB coach J.T. Barrett — Bears QB coach
    • WR coach Antwaan Randle El — Bears WR coach/assistant head coach
    • TE coach Steve Heiden — Jets OL coach
    • DC Aaron Glenn — Jets head coach
    • DL coach Terrell Williams — Patriots DC
    • Assistant DL coach Cameron Davis — Parting ways with Lions

You can track all of the Lions’ latest coach news and rumors with our 2025 tracker.

The Detroit Lions have lost their tight ends coach, Steve Heiden, to the New York Jets. Heiden, who joined the Lions coaching staff in 2020, has accepted a new position with the Jets as their tight ends coach.

During his time with the Lions, Heiden helped develop the team’s tight end group, including standout player T.J. Hockenson. His departure is a loss for the Lions, but it is a great opportunity for Heiden to continue his coaching career with a new team.

The Lions will now need to find a replacement for Heiden as they continue to prepare for the upcoming season. We wish Steve Heiden the best of luck in his new role with the Jets.

  • Match report: Liverpool lose at PSV Eindhoven but top UCL league phase

    Team

Jayden Danns made his first start at senior level for Liverpool and Federico Chiesa was also part of the attack as Slot made nine changes.

Andy Robertson took the captain’s armband and lined up at centre-back.

Liverpool: Kelleher, Endo, Chiesa, Gakpo (Morton, 51), Elliott, Tsimikas, Robertson (Nyoni, 64), McConnell, Danns (Nallo, 83), Quansah, Bradley.

Unused subs: Jaros, Davies, Kone-Doherty, Mabaya, Morrison, Norris.

    First half

The teams emerged for the league-phase finale to the backdrop of a din inside Philips Stadium, a venue the Reds last visited back in 2008.

A lively start only gave way to snatches of chances at either end, with Chiesa firing one decent effort from outside the area into the gloves of PSV goalkeeper Walter Benitez.

The Italian was unable to make the most of space right of goal when later picked out by Elliott, before Joey Veerman swerved a good free-kick just too high of Caoimhin Kelleher’s net.

Chiesa had been an energetic presence throughout the early phases and that paid dividends for the visitors prior to the half-hour.

His latest foray along the right-hand side was partially dealt with by PSV, but the home team were caught playing out and Chiesa’s press on Veerman drew a foul inside the box.

Elliott immediately swiped the loose ball past Benitez but the referee pulled play back to award a penalty, which Gakpo calmly stroked into the bottom right corner.

Liverpool’s lead was short-lived, though. From a lofted pass into their area, Pepi’s deft flick teed up Bakayoko, who feinted as Robertson and Jarell Quansah slid in and clipped a clinical effort inside the left post.

A frenzied end to the half ensued.

In a thrilling match at the Philips Stadion, Liverpool suffered a 2-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven. Despite the loss, the Reds secured their spot at the top of the UEFA Champions League group stage, thanks to their impressive performances in previous matches.

PSV took an early lead through a goal from Donyell Malen, but Liverpool fought back with a goal from Mohamed Salah to level the score. However, PSV regained the lead with a late goal from Cody Gakpo, securing the victory for the Dutch side.

Despite the disappointing result, Liverpool’s strong performances in the group stage ensured they finished at the top of their group, setting them up for a favorable draw in the knockout rounds of the competition.

Overall, it was a tough loss for Liverpool, but their focus now shifts to the next stage of the Champions League as they look to continue their quest for European glory.

  • Padres Lose Ha-Seong Kim to AL Contender as Brutal Offseason Continues

The San Diego Padres have lost another key free agent, as infielder Ha-Seong Kim has signed a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Rays, per ESPN’s Jeff Passan.

Kim is signing a $29 million deal with an opt-out after the first season, per Passan.

Kim is yet another free agent to leave the Padres in a brutal offseason for San Diego. Jurickson Profar signed with the Atlanta Braves despite interest in returning to San Diego. He mentioned the ongoing ownership lawsuit as a reason he’s not back.

“Obviously the Padres have some issue with the ownership and all that,” Profar said in a video call with the Atlanta media. “It was difficult to go back (to San Diego), but [Braves general manager] Alex [Anthopoulous] showed a lot, a lot of interest in me and I loved that. He gave me a lot of confidence to come to a team and to perform. People show confidence like that, it gives you a boost.”

Now, Kim is officially gone from San Diego, even though just two years ago he appeared to be a future cornerstone of the roster.

    This story will be updated…

The San Diego Padres have suffered another blow in what has been a brutal offseason, as they have lost infielder Ha-Seong Kim to an American League contender.

Kim, who signed with the Padres last offseason, was a key part of their infield depth and provided versatility with his ability to play multiple positions. However, it has been reported that he has been traded to an AL contender in exchange for prospects, leaving the Padres with a hole to fill in their infield.

This news comes on the heels of the Padres missing out on several free agent targets and dealing with injuries to key players. Fans are understandably frustrated with the team’s inability to make significant moves to improve their roster, especially as they try to compete in a tough NL West division.

As the Padres continue to struggle this offseason, it remains to be seen if they can turn things around before the start of the season. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.

  • Jazz lose to Bucks, but say moving Collier to a starter is ‘best for team’ right now

SALT LAKE CITY — Isaiah Collier was only a youngster when he realized he had a knack for passing.

“I threw crazy passes since I was young,” he said with a smile. “I don’t even know where it came from, to be honest — just started having that.”

The Utah Jazz are seeing what that style of play can bring to the team. Collier has been moved into the starting lineup, replacing second-year guard Keyonte George at the point guard spot.

After his 12-point, eight-assist performance on Monday in Utah’s 125-110 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, Collier is averaging 7.9 assists per game as a starter. He leads all rookies in assists this season.

“I think we’re just looking at different things that work for us,” forward Lauri Markkanen said. “(Isaiah) has been doing a good job the whole year and staying ready, and he deserves the opportunity. He’s been playing well, so it’s a little different look.”

And a chance for Collier to continue to prove himself. The Jazz are throwing the young point guard into the fire in a new way — giving him the keys to the offense to start the game and then letting him cover some of the most dynamic players in the league on the other end.

On Monday, he lined up across from Damian Lillard, and the former Weber State product went off for 35 points on 14-of-22 shooting and handed out eight assists.

So you can say there’s still some room for improvement.

“I get a lot of foul calls,” Collier said when asked what he’s learned about playing NBA defense. “Just showing hands; I think that’s the biggest thing for me right now. Not fouling jump shooters, and then just be able to just sit down and guard, just having the pride, to be honest, I mean, because I don’t like being scored on.”

He was far from alone in struggling on defense on Monday. The Jazz were regularly beaten at the point of attack, allowing Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo to feast on Utah’s defense.

Antetokounmpo had 35 points and 18 rebounds, continuing his MVP-caliber season.

“With a player like Giannis, with a guy like Dame, if you get blown by in a straight line, you’re in a really, really tough spot,” Jazz coach Will Hardy said. “Everybody has to do a better job guarding individually.”

Defense can sometimes be chalked up to effort — evidenced by the classic sports cliche “want to” — but Hardy thought it was more of technique issues that hurt the Jazz on Monday.

“I don’t mean it to be like, ‘Oh, the guys don’t care — that’s why they’re getting beat.’ I do think that they are competing, but there’s the physical part of competing, and then there’s the mental part,” he said. “And I think that right now, in that area in particular, I think our mental focus has not been good enough.”

Hardy said he thought his players got beat away from the help 75% of the time — he admitted that it very well could have been more — and that was due to them not being correctly positioned or taking the right angles.

And while Collier’s passing does unlock some things in Utah’s offense, one of the reasons for his promotion is to try and get some better defensive presence up top. The rookie has a long way to go before he’s considered a great — or even good — defender, but he’s been better than George this season.

And for now, that was enough to make the change.

George will still be a mainstay in Utah’s rotations off the bench — he played 31 minutes on Monday (three more than Collier, in fact) and finished with 15 points and five assists — but Hardy is hopeful that coming off the bench will help him lean into some of the little things that will turn into a true winning player.

“It’s really about him recognizing which things are most important for him to be focused on,” Hardy said. “Individual defense is one, team defense is No. 2; and both of those things are sort of encapsulated by just the overall competitiveness on every play. His talent is obvious; we can all see that when we watch him play. And I think right now this is what’s best for him and the team.”

The Utah Jazz suffered a tough loss to the Milwaukee Bucks last night, but despite the defeat, there is a silver lining for the team. Coach Snyder made the decision to move rookie forward, Jared Collier, into the starting lineup for the first time this season, and it proved to be a strategic move that could benefit the team in the long run.

Collier’s energy and defensive prowess brought a new dynamic to the starting lineup, and his presence on the court helped to create more opportunities for his teammates. While the Jazz ultimately fell short in their matchup against the Bucks, the decision to start Collier was a step in the right direction for the team.

Coach Snyder believes that putting Collier in the starting lineup is “best for the team” right now and that his versatility and work ethic will continue to be an asset moving forward. Although the loss stings, the Jazz can take solace in the fact that they are making the necessary adjustments to improve and compete at a higher level. The future looks bright for this young team, and with Collier in the starting lineup, the Jazz are poised to make a strong push towards the playoffs.

EXCLUSIVE: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will announce he is “immediately pulling” retired Gen. Mark Milley’s personal security detail and security clearance, multiple senior administration officials tell Fox News.

The secretary is also directing the new acting Inspector General to conduct a review board to determine if enough evidence exists for Gen. Milley to be stripped of a star in retirement based on his actions to “undermine the chain of command” during President Donald Trump’s first term, officials say.

The Pentagon will also be removing a second portrait of Gen. Milley inside the Pentagon. This one is from the Army’s Marshall Corridor on the third floor honoring his service as chief-of-staff of the Army. Fox is told the removal of this second portrait will take place as soon as tonight. This means there will be no more portraits of Gen. Milley inside the Pentagon.

The first portrait of Gen. Milley, from his time as the U.S. military’s top officer, was removed from the Pentagon last week on Inauguration Day less than two hours after President Trump was sworn into office.

The now retired Gen. Milley and other former senior Trump aides had been assigned personal security details ever since Iran vowed revenge for the killing of Qasem Soleimani in a drone strike in 2020 ordered by Trump in his first term.

On “Fox News Sunday,” the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Tom Cotton said he hoped President Trump would “revisit” the decision to pull the protective security details from John Bolton, Mike Pompeo and Brian Hook who previously served under Trump.

Asked why these actions were being taken, a senior administration official who requested anonymity replied, “There is a new era of accountability in the Defense Department under President Trump’s leadership—and that’s exactly what the American people expect.”

Gen. Milley served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2019 to 2023 under both Presidents Trump and Biden.

He served as the Army’s chief of staff, the service’s top officer, from 2015-2019.

In his new book “War,” Bob Woodward writes Gen. Milley told him at a reception at the Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C. on March 6, 2023, that he believed Trump was “fascist to the core!”

Gen. Milley was still serving in uniform as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff when he reportedly made the remark.

Woodward wrote that Gen. Milley, “shared with me his worries about Trump’s mental stability and control of nuclear weapons,” in a previous book.

When the leader of ISIS was killed in a daring raid carried out by U.S. Special Operations Forces in Syria in October 2019, President Trump praised Milley.

“I want to thank General Mark Milley and our Joint Chiefs of Staff, and I also want to thank our professionals who work in other agencies of the United States government and were critical to the mission’s unbelievable success.”

Before leaving office, President Joe Biden pardoned Gen. Milley.

In their book, “Peril,” Bob Woodward and Robert Costa wrote that Gen. Milley called his Chinese counterpart on two occasions in the final months of Trump’s first term, warning him the U.S. military had no plans to strike China in a bid to avert tensions between nuclear-armed countries.

In a shocking turn of events, it has been revealed that General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is set to lose his security detail and security clearance. This exclusive news comes after a series of controversies surrounding Gen. Milley’s actions and statements.

Sources within the Pentagon have confirmed that the decision to revoke Gen. Milley’s security detail and clearance was made by high-ranking officials in response to his handling of sensitive information and communication with foreign counterparts. It is reported that there have been concerns about Gen. Milley’s judgment and trustworthiness.

This development is sure to send shockwaves through the military and political circles, as Gen. Milley is one of the most senior and influential figures in the U.S. armed forces. It remains to be seen how this will impact his ability to carry out his duties effectively.

Stay tuned for more updates on this rapidly developing story.
