Riddick played six seasons in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons and the then-Oakland Raiders. He joined ESPN in 2020 and works as a broadcaster for Monday Night Football.
During his NFL career, Riddick played in 94 games and made eight starts. He then would work as a scout and rose to the Director of Pro Personnel for both the then-Washington Redskins and the Philadelphia Eagles
He notably interviewed for the general manager vacancies for the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions in 2020.
The Jets fired general manager Joe Douglas midway through the 2024 season. The team has slumped to a 4-12 record despite notable talent on the roster. The next general manager will have to tackle the future of quarterback Aaron Rodgers as well as assembling a roster to break a playoff drought that extends to 2010.

The Jets have completed an interview with Louis Riddick for the team’s general manager position.
Riddick, 55, is currently an NFL and college football analyst for ESPN and ABC.
Before joining ESPN in 2013, Riddick worked in the front office of the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. Starting as a pro scout with Washington from 2001-04, Riddick was promoted to director of pro personnel and held that position from 2005-07. He then joined the Eagles as a scout in 2008, moved to assistant director of pro personnel in 2009 and was promoted to Philly’s director of pro personnel from 2010-13.
Riddick, a native of Quakertown, PA, played collegiately at Pittsburgh, lining up at running back as a freshman before transitioning to safety. A four-year letterman, two-time Academic All-America and a team captain his senior season, Riddick recorded 4 interceptions in 1989-90 before being selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the ninth round of the 1991 NFL Draft. He played seven seasons — with the Falcons (1992, ’96), Browns (1993-95) and Raiders (1998), totaling 155 tackles and 2 sacks.
Riddick, who interviewed for the GM openings of the Lions and the Texans in 2020, is the third candidate to interview for the Jets’ GM post. The team has also announced completed interviews with former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff and former Titans GM Jon Robinson.
Jets Chairman Woody Johnson is leading the searches for a general manager and head coach. He hired The 33rd Team in a support role to help identify and vet candidates in addition to coordinating interviews. Phil Savage and Jeff Ulbrich are serving as the team’s interim general manager and head coach, respectively.

So, will Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis be able to keep their latest Christmas gifts? According to official royal gift protocol, it depends on a few factors. Per Hello!, royal family members are allowed to accept gifts during official engagements, but these become part of the royal collection. They’re also allowed to accept gifts from people they don’t know, but these presents need to fall into a few categories.

Flowers, food, and other consumable items are acceptable to keep as long as they’re in reasonable quantities, meaning that the Wales children will probably be able to keep the flowers and chocolate they received on Christmas day. Other presents that are allowed are copies of books if they’re given by the author (as long as the book’s subject isn’t controversial), as well as gifts that cost less than 150 pounds (or roughly $188). This means that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will probably also be keeping their stuffed animals, but it’s unknown whether the youngest Wales child will be able to keep the “hand-finished silver egg cup and spoon” that he was given by a fellow 6-year-old, per Hello!

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson showed his appreciation for his offensive line by showering them with gifts this holiday season.
In a video posted to the Steelers’ X account on Tuesday, the team revealed what Wilson gifted his teammates on the offensive line. They each received a $10,000 Airbnb gift card, a Louis Vuitton duffel bag in Steelers colors, custom shoes from Wilson’s men’s clothing brand and a bottle of his wife Ciara’s Ten To One Rum. The Steelers have 12 offensive linemen on their active roster.
But Wilson’s gift-giving was not exclusive to the offensive line. Every player and coach received the shoes from Wilson’s men’s clothing brand, Good Man Brand.
Quarterbacks gifting their offensive line much-see hauls for the holidays has become an NFL tradition. This year, quarterback Joe Burrow gifted his Cincinnati Bengals O-line authentic Japanese Katana swords, while Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes gave his offensive line a gift package that includes a Rolex and Yeti cooler.
