  • Does Gabriel Basso have girlfriend? Love lives of Night Agent cast

One of the stars is married to a huge British actress

With the second season of The Night Agent currently at the number-one spot on Netflix, let’s ditch their beloved characters and take a magnifying glass to their love lives, from long-term girlfriends to single life.

Though some names were missing, The Night Agent returned to Netflix screens last week with more fun centred around Gabriel Basso’s main character Peter Sutherland. This time, he and Rose set out to stop a disastrous chemical attack in New York City.

Though the characters obviously don’t have time for personal lives between dodging bullets and taking down corrupt government officials, the same can not be said of their actors. Here’s what we know about their relationships.

    1. Is Gabriel Basso married?

The Night Agent’s leading man Gabriel Basso has been in the public eye for a number of years, first making a name for himself in J.J. Abrams’ Super 8. There has been a lot of speculation about him being married or having a girlfriend, but unfortunately, they’re just rumours as Gabriel keeps very hush about his love life. He does however have a daughter, announcing the news in August 2020.

“There’s a new Basso on the planter,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.

It’s not immediately clear who the mother of his daughter is.

    2. Luciane Buchanan is a single pringle

Though there has been speculation that she and Gabriel are into each other, according to WDW, Rose actress Luciane Buchanan is very much single in 2025.

    3. Brittany Snow has dated some major stars

    BRITTANY SNOW

With projects ranging from Pitch Perfect to Hairspray, Brittany Snow is one of the more established names on this list. As such, she’s dated Josh Henderson, Ryan Rottman, William Tell, Tyler Hoechlin, and Andrew Jenks.

Most recently, Brittany was married to professional surfer Tyler Stanaland. They tied the knot in 2020 but sadly separated two years later.

    4. Arienne Mandi enjoys her private life

Arienne Mandi has always kept tight-lipped about her dating life besides being an out and proud pansexual. She was connected to Iranian actress Sepideh Moafi, but neither party confirmed the relationship.

    5. Michael Malarkey has been married the longest

Vampire Diaries actor Michael Malarkey has been married to English actress Nadine Lewington since 2009 and they have two sons born in  2014 and 2019.

Celebrating their anniversary a few years back, he penned on Instagram: “11 years married this month to my ride or die @dinibee; thanks for keeping me around all these years even after all the shit I talk about you in my songs.”

The Night Agent season two is available on Netflix now. For all the latest Netflix news, drops, quizzes and memes like The Holy Church of Netflix on Facebook.

  • 16 Gifts We Love for Lovers

In this edition of The Gift, we dish on some of our favorite gifts to surprise your sweetie with—from an iconic pleated bag to a sexy deck of cards. Plus: what to give a curmudgeonly partner.

A video has been floating around my feeds lately of a very distressed looking woman asking her followers something like: “Does anyone know what we’re doing about Valentine’s Day in the talking stage?” I actually can’t help you with that. Not exactly my beat.

But if you’ve already made up your mind to acknowledge the holiday and give a gift—whether to your situationship (best of luck), your partner of 30 years, or your secret crush (brave! I support!)—and you just need a little help figuring out the “what should I give” of it all, here’s my advice: Pick a gifting lane first. Then go from there.

As I see it, there are five(ish) simple-enough paths you can take when approaching romantic gifting: sentimental, classic, sexy, nontraditional, and then jewelry, which is certainly classic but worthy of its own separate lane.

If you already know what type of gift you’d like to give, great! You can skip ahead.

But if you’re struggling to land on what kind of gifter you’d like to be this year, we don’t blame you. All of the different ways to approach “romance” (a nebulous concept to begin with!) are jumbled up and spit back out to us in a firehose of red-confettied-drugstore-aisle campaigns this time of year. I’d suggest—in the spirit of surprise and delight—going the opposite direction of the expected.

If you tend toward practical gift giving, your Valentine would likely be extra touched by something sentimental. Consider yourself a pretty romantic, effusive partner? Why not go with something less traditionally sweet, like a really cool or great-looking gift that just happens to be red. (The exception here might be jewelry: If you give it often and it’s well-received, probably … don’t stop.)

For the record, these categories are loose and entirely up to your interpretation. One person’s dream “sexy” gift might be lingerie; another’s might be doing the dishes. But here’s where I’d start, with a few lovely little things that have caught my eye recently, each grouped into a different category. All rigorously vetted by our gifting experts, as always.

Any of these, by the way, would make a great gift to self—there’s no rule that says you can’t be your own Valentine. You can think of it like setting a high bar for your next Valentine, or at least that’s what I’ll be doing.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to show your love than with a thoughtful gift? Whether you’re shopping for your significant other, a friend, or even yourself, we’ve compiled a list of 16 gifts that are sure to make any lover’s heart skip a beat. From romantic jewelry to cozy accessories, here are some of our favorite picks for the special someone in your life:

  • What Critics Love And Hate

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is out this week, and reviews for the overwhelmingly massive open-world RPG sequel are here and mostly positive–though not all. It sounds like the new medieval sim, similar to its predecessor, won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. Some critics are calling it a Witcher 3-level breakout while others are already burnt out on all of the historical immersive sim’s drudgery.

Warhorse Studios’ follow-up to its 2018 RPG returns players to the role of Henry, the son of a blacksmith turned world-weary orphan, after a war in the 15th century Eastern European Kingdom of Bohemia sends him on a sim-heavy RPG journey through medieval geopolitical turmoil. The sequel expands on the first game with a bigger, more detailed world that includes new gameplay systems and a lengthier script. Does all of this extra stuff coalesce into something compelling and meaningful?

According to VGC’s Jordan Middler, the larger mix still feels cohesive and intentional in a way the first game’s did not. “This is Warhorse Studios’ Witcher 3 moment,” he writes in his five-star review. “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is an extremely confident, accomplished, dirty, hilarious, and massively enjoyable RPG. The game tries a lot of things and executes on almost all of them very well, and its commitment to being ruthless must be applauded.”

Eurogamer’s Katharine Castle was similarly impressed but less in love with the finished product. “There’s a lot to admire here, sure, but you have to do so on its own terms,” she writes in her three-out-of-five star review. “It is a hard and maddening slog at times, but one that still has its moments where it surprises and quietly delights. Like the original, this isn’t an RPG designed to make you feel good – you continue to be little more than a passenger in this historical tapestry, following along behind the horse tails of Henry’s betters, and clearing up the mess they leave behind. Some will revel in that work, but I for one won’t be chomping at the bit for another sequel any time soon.”

Early reviews make Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 sound like its side quests and the way they’re woven together across its big world are a highlight, while combat remains a bit underwhelming, and text-heavy menus make navigating and learning about some of the systems a chore. The lock-picking mini-game is apparently terrible, as is saving the game, and the beginning seems hellbent on making players struggle to overcome even the simplest challenges. All of these pressure points are blips in a journey that’s takings some reviewers over 100 hours.

Here’s what other reviews are saying:

In many ways, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 feels like it’s picked up and run with the reactive first-person RPG torch that Bethesda left lying in the mud years ago in pursuit of a broader audience. And it has excellent melee combat, which The Elder Scrolls never came close to even at its peak. Sometimes it’s not sure if it wants to be a cinematic tale about a specific guy going on a specific adventure or a truly dynamic open-world sandbox packed with interesting and varied side quests, and that can lead to a few immersion-shattering conflicts. But most of the time, leaning into one doesn’t get in the way of the other, and you’re free to go on any of its many optional adventures along the way to a thought-provoking and rousing finale for the main plot. I was delighted to get lost in its world, and it will be a long time before I forget its exceptional story.

While Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 still stumbles in some aspects of its portrayal of 15th-century Bohemia, the shadow that lingered over the first game has mostly dissipated. This is a massively improved sequel in every other area, with better combat, quest design, and none of the technical issues that plagued the original. Not everyone will vibe with its slow-paced and oftentimes tedious approach, but those willing to meet it on its own terms will find a compelling open-world RPG that relishes in player agency and the consequences of your actions.

While a few failures trigger a “game over”, many produce scenarios as winding and gratifying as any victory, and in any case, living life in Henry’s shoes has taught me to take the rain with the shine. In particular, I never wanted to simply overpower people the way blockbuster games teach you to, and Deliverance 2 met me halfway, initially, by having characters dunk on me when I tried to act the tough guy, or applaud me for being a good sport when I got my arse kicked. But after a series of mandatory plot skirmishes, my Henry has become a proficient and well-appointed combatant, because that is what KCD2 fundamentally requires him to be. It’s as though the game had assumed the role of that servant girl from my intro: it won’t let me get on with my day unless I consent to my own greatness.

The branching dialogue options and reputation system make for some engrossing moments. At certain points, I’m given the option to respond using the key tenets of Persuasion, Coercion, Domination, and others. This isn’t just determined by a rudimentary point value system from leveling up skills and perks. Rather, it relies on several factors, such as my standing within a community and even the dirt or blood on my clothing. After all, you probably won’t convince merchants that you’re a member of the nobility if you look like a vagabond, just as how you might not be able to intimidate the guards if you look like a total pushover.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is, in almost every way, the RPG that so many fans have been asking for. With Baldur’s Gate 3 taking the world by storm, amidst so many other RPGs that widely missed the mark, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 presents a colossal, in-depth, beautiful, masterfully designed game right at the start of 2025. The performances are excellent, it’s a major technical step up, and evolves the game beyond its foundation into something that embraces modern audiences without losing its identity. The original game turned away many due to its slow-paced, tedious aspects and technical shortcomings, and while the sequel exceeds on a technical level by far, the biggest shame will be if people still give it a miss because of the almost simulator-like mechanics.

Given that I was a big fan of the original title, I went into Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 expecting to greatly enjoy the follow-up, too. Even so, I was thoroughly surprised by how perfect of a sequel it is, with Warhorse building on everything fans loved about KCD while simultaneously fixing its major story, combat, and performance issues. Between the immersive reactivity of its huge open world, countless varied quests to fill up your journal with, its engaging well-balanced combat, a gripping story, and immaculate presentation, it’s got everything a Kingdom Come fan could want and more.

Looking for a sweeping fantasy romp? You won’t find one. Like its predecessor, this is a game whose story springs inevitably from the politics of its time and place: the Kingdom of Bohemia in 1403. Want to mow down your foes by the dozen? Good luck. Combat is a strange dance of positioning both your hands and feet relative to those of your enemies, and charging into the fray even in the late game is liable to get you cut apart. Want to equip a hauberk without first equipping a padded gambeson beneath it? What are you—some kind of moron?

What Critics Love And Hate: A Look at the Best and Worst in Entertainment

Critics play a crucial role in shaping public opinion and influencing the success of movies, TV shows, music, and other forms of entertainment. While their reviews can be subjective, they often provide valuable insights into what works and what doesn’t in the world of entertainment. Here, we take a closer look at some of the things that critics love and hate in the industry.

    What Critics Love:

    1. Originality: Critics love to see fresh and innovative ideas in entertainment. Whether it’s a unique storyline, a groundbreaking visual style, or a fresh perspective on a familiar genre, originality is always appreciated.

    2. Strong performances: Critics are always impressed by actors who can truly inhabit their characters and bring them to life on screen. A powerful performance can elevate even the most mediocre of scripts.

    3. Thought-provoking themes: Entertainment that tackles complex issues and challenges viewers to think critically about the world around them is often praised by critics for its depth and intellectual rigor.

    4. Skillful direction: A talented director can turn a good script into a great film. Critics appreciate directors who have a clear vision for their projects and the skills to bring that vision to life on screen.

    What Critics Hate:

    1. Lack of originality: Nothing irks critics more than a rehashed plot, tired cliches, or recycled ideas in entertainment. They want to see something new and exciting, not the same old tired tropes.

    2. Poor performances: Bad acting can ruin even the best-written script. Critics are quick to call out actors who phone in their performances or fail to connect with their characters.

    3. Shallow themes: Entertainment that lacks depth or substance is often panned by critics for its lack of intellectual engagement. They want to be challenged and stimulated, not spoon-fed simplistic messages.

    4. Heavy-handed direction: Directors who lack subtlety or finesse in their storytelling can turn off critics with their heavy-handed approach. A deft touch is often appreciated more than bombastic spectacle.

In the end, critics are just one piece of the puzzle when it comes to evaluating entertainment. What one critic loves, another may hate, and ultimately, it’s up to the individual viewer to decide what resonates with them. But by paying attention to what critics love and hate, we can gain valuable insights into the ever-evolving landscape of entertainment.

  • There’s still no love lost between Gabriel and Erling Harland

It has been a frantic opening half hour at the Emirates, with Arsenal taking the lead after 103 seconds, a goal disallowed, a big save and a big miss.

In the mix of all of that, the Premier League’s new biggest individual rivalry continues to grow.

After the skirmishes at the end of the reverse fixture in September, where Haaland had just a few words with the Arsenal players, notably telling them to “stay humble”, there was bound to be a bit of spice to things.

Gabriel didn’t hide from it in the pre-match interviews, and he certainly didn’t when Martin Ødegaard gave the Gunners the lead inside two minutes.

Running up the pitch to his teammates, he made sure to remind Haaland who was in front in the game, and maybe in the battle between the two as well?

It’s been a while since the league has had proper bad blood or beef between players, and for those who remember the days of Roy Keane vs Patrick Vieira, it’s brilliant viewing.

    Long may it continue.

The ongoing feud between Gabriel and Erling Harland shows no signs of slowing down, as the two football stars continue to trade jabs both on and off the field. From heated exchanges during matches to fiery social media posts, it’s clear that there’s still no love lost between these two rivals.

Despite their undeniable talent and skill on the pitch, Gabriel and Erling seem to bring out the worst in each other, with their competitive nature often leading to confrontations and arguments. Whether it’s a questionable tackle or a controversial goal celebration, these two players never miss an opportunity to get under each other’s skin.

Fans of both players are divided, with some enjoying the drama and rivalry between Gabriel and Erling, while others wish they would put their differences aside and focus on the game. But for now, it seems that the animosity between these two football stars is here to stay.

As they continue to face off against each other in matches and competitions, one thing is for certain – the rivalry between Gabriel and Erling Harland is far from over. And who knows what drama and controversy will unfold next in this ongoing saga. Stay tuned for more updates on this intense rivalry. #GabrielvsErling #FootballFeud

  • Bill Gates’s Biggest Regret: Letting an Old Love Slip Away

When Bill Gates called his divorce from Melinda French Gates the biggest regret of his life, he explained that when they met, in 1987, he wasn’t yet the mega success that he is today.

“There is a certain wonderfulness to spending your entire adult life with one person because of the memories and depth of things you have done and having kids together,” Mr. Gates, the billionaire co-founder of Microsoft, told The Times of London in a recent interview.

“When Melinda and I met, I was fairly successful but not ridiculously successful — that came during the time that we were together,” he continued. “So, she saw me through a lot.”

Mr. Gates’s wistfulness about an ex who was by his side for decades highlights the premium that the rich and famous have long placed on relationships that began before the arrival of wealth and fame. For many successful people, these relationships — whether romantic or platonic — are sacred precisely because of their roots in shared experiences, hardships, wins and love that predate their changing fortunes. A time-tested bond, after all, is one of the few luxuries money can’t buy.

It’s a classic pitfall of the nouveau riche (or nouveau célèbre) to ditch the Day 1 partner — the one who stood by you for better or for worse and when you had very little to your name — for someone who is younger or more attractive. While that wasn’t exactly the case for Mr. Gates, who had already amassed a great deal of money when he met Ms. French Gates, he certainly wasn’t as powerful then as he was when they officially parted ways, in 2021.

Importantly, he also didn’t initiate his own divorce: Ms. French Gates was reportedly unhappy with the way her husband had handled previously undisclosed sexual harassment claims against his money manager and she was uncomfortable with his relationship with the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. (Representatives for Mr. Gates did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Thursday.)

People love a romantic rags-to-riches story about lovers who see each other through their humble beginnings. When Michelle Robinson met a young law student named Barack Obama in 1989, the future president was living frugally and driving a beat-up car that had a four-inch hole in the floorboard. Despite her suspicion that he might never make any money, the future Mrs. Obama stuck by his side.

“Life with Barack would never be dull,” she wrote in her 2018 memoir, “Becoming.”

But is sticking around always worth the risk? When it comes to romantic relationships, many young women online are being cautioned to not stay with a partner who doesn’t have much going for him.

According to Sabrina Zohar, a dating coach on TikTok, it’s best to avoid such a situation because “you’re putting a bet on a hypothetical.”

If the person “standing in front of you is not the match for you,” she says in a 2023 video, “then stop engaging and continuing to put yourself in this ‘prove it’ mentality.” (If Michelle Robinson had listened to similar advice, it’s possible that there never would have been a first lady Michelle Obama — or, for that matter, a President Barack Obama.)

It’s not just longtime romantic bonds that people are protective of but their friendships too, especially after they have achieved a high level of success. In their 2018 song “Friends,” Beyoncé and Jay-Z rap in praise of longtime friends who have had their backs over the years, looking down on peers with newer, less trustworthy friends. “I don’t know what I would do without all of my crew, yeah / I ain’t makin’ no room, yeah, I ain’t makin’ no new friends,” Beyoncé asserts. (Five years earlier, Drake expressed a similar sentiment in DJ Khaled’s “No New Friends.”)

The year that Bill Gates met Melinda French, she was a new hire at Microsoft and he was on the cusp of becoming the world’s youngest billionaire ever at the time. She was with him when Microsoft debuted Internet Explorer, when Queen Elizabeth II made Mr. Gates a knight and when Time magazine jointly named the couple (plus Bono!) a “Person of the Year” for their philanthropy work. By the time they ended their 27-year marriage, they had put three of their own kids through college and mosquito nets over the beds of hundreds of thousands more.

For Mr. Gates, the sadness of his ex-wife’s departure from his life might have been slightly tempered by her continuing role in the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which the couple started together in 2000. When she announced last spring that she would be resigning as a co-chair of the organization, she was functionally severing one of their oldest and most prominent ties as a couple.

“I was disappointed that she took the option to go off,” Mr. Gates told The Times of London.

Bill Gates, the billionaire co-founder of Microsoft, is known for his incredible success in the tech world. However, it seems that even someone as accomplished as Gates has regrets when it comes to matters of the heart.

In a recent interview, Gates revealed that one of his biggest regrets in life is letting an old love slip away. He spoke candidly about a past relationship that he deeply regrets not pursuing further, citing his intense focus on building Microsoft as the reason for not prioritizing the relationship at the time.

Gates admitted that he was young and naive when he let this love go, and now looks back with a sense of longing and what could have been. Despite his immense wealth and success, it seems that even Gates is not immune to the pain of lost love.

This revelation offers a rare glimpse into the personal life of one of the world’s richest men, showing that even someone as successful as Gates can have regrets and moments of vulnerability. It serves as a reminder that success in one aspect of life does not guarantee fulfillment in all areas, and that sometimes the greatest successes can come from personal connections and relationships.

As Gates reflects on his past decisions, it serves as a reminder to all of us to prioritize what truly matters in life and not let opportunities for love and connection slip away. It’s a lesson that even someone as accomplished as Bill Gates has learned the hard way, but one that we can all take to heart in our own lives.

  • Suns’ Kevin Durant says trash talk with Gary Payton Sr. ‘all love’

SAN FRANCISCO — The animated verbal exchanges between Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant and Hall of Famer Gary Payton Sr. on Friday night were all in good fun.

“Just talking junk,” Payton told ESPN’s Jorge Sedano from his second-row seat at Chase Center after the third quarter ended with Durant and the 1995-96 defensive player of the year going back and forth.

But Durant meant every word of the trash he talked to Payton, the father of Golden State Warriors wing Gary Payton II, during the Suns’ 130-105 victory.

“It’s always good when I run into an older player, especially if they played in the ’90s, because they feel like that’s the golden years of the NBA,” Durant said. “So I try to let them know, especially GP, I try to let them know what it would have been like if they’d have been on the court with me. They tend to talk down on the mentality of our era’s players.

“G’s a great sport about it — one of my favorite players, somebody I look up to, got major respect for. I think we started in the summer with Team USA. We were all in the same room with Team USA, and the first thing I said to him was that he couldn’t guard me. ‘You’re too small. Them dudes that played back in the day wasn’t close to me.’ I was just talking crazy to him, so I guess we picked it up from there.”

Durant, who scored 19 points in 29 minutes during the win, traded trash talk with Payton for most of the third quarter. Durant finished the quarter with a trio of 3-pointers to stretch the Suns’ lead to 19. At the end of the quarter, he made a beeline toward the corner where Payton was sitting, but Durant was adamant he didn’t need a scoring outburst for fodder in their conversation.

“If I needed to show him that minute of basketball to let him know what I’ve been doing out here … I’ve got 18 years of footage,” Durant said with a smile. “That minute ain’t do much. He knew that was coming.”

Before heading to the Suns’ bench, Durant walked to the block, letting Payton know that’s the area of the floor Durant would use to score on him.

“We’re going right into that post,” said Durant, a 15-time All-Star who is 75 points shy of becoming the eighth member of the NBA’s 30,000-point club. “He’s too small, man. [Payton is] 6-4, not really physical like that. He’s just too small for me. And he knows that.

“But GP is one of those players, you’re not going to get that last word on him.”

According to Durant, Payton has never explained how he would defend him.

“I still don’t know,” Durant said, briefly pausing before getting in another dig. “He’d probably just try to foul me, just like his son do.”

Durant looks forward to hearing the fiery retorts from Payton, who retired the year that Durant was drafted, the next time they run into each other.

“It’s always good rapport with the older generation,” Durant said. “They respect me. I respect what they’ve done. But there’s some players that still got that competitive edge and wish they were still out there and still keep that with them everywhere they go. That’s GP, and I respect that about him. So any time, any chance I get to see him, man, we going to talk this trash until we die. It’s all love.”

Kevin Durant, the star player for the Phoenix Suns, recently opened up about his friendly trash talk with legendary point guard Gary Payton Sr. Durant explained that their banter on the court is all in good fun and that they have a mutual respect for each other’s game.

In a recent interview, Durant said, “Gary Payton is a legend in this league and I have a ton of respect for him. When we go back and forth on the court, it’s all love. We both know it’s just part of the game and it helps keep things competitive and fun.”

Payton, known for his fierce competitiveness and defensive prowess during his playing days, has been spotted courtside at several Suns games this season, cheering on Durant and engaging in friendly banter with him during breaks in the action.

Fans have been enjoying the playful dynamic between Durant and Payton, with many taking to social media to express their delight in seeing two basketball greats engaging in some lighthearted trash talk.

As the Suns continue their push for a deep playoff run, it’s clear that Durant and Payton’s relationship will continue to add an extra layer of excitement to the team’s games. And with both players known for their competitive fire and love for the game, fans can expect plenty more entertaining exchanges between the two on the court.

  • Door just swung wide open for Mavericks to make trade Luka Doncic would love

The NBA trade deadline is less than a week away, and while there have only been a handful of trades made around the league so far this season, things are poised to pick up very quickly over the next seven days.

While the Dallas Mavericks have been known as one of the most active teams ahead of the trade deadline when it comes to calling around, rumors surrounding who they have shown interest in have been relatively thin outside of their “strong” interest in Herbert Jones of the New Orleans Pelicans. Nico Harrison keeps his cards close to his chest when it comes to what he is planning to do ahead of each year’s trade deadline, but it’s a given that he is always trying to improve the roster.

Harrison has made a move at the trade deadline every year that he has worked for the Mavericks, and this year could bring more of the same depending on what approach he decides to take. It’s clear that he isn’t going to make a trade to try to fix Dallas’ current injury issue, as Dallas has proven they are a top team in the NBA when they’re fully healthy, but there is one trade that could be on the table soon that would thrill Luka Doncic who has been out since Christmas Day with a calf strain.

Dallas could explore pairing Bogdanovic with Doncic

According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the Atlanta Hawks have been “actively exploring the trade market” (subscription required) when it comes to moving Bogdan Bogdanovic. Stein added that Bogdanovic still has “fans around the league” despite having a down year shooting the ball, and there have been “credible whispers this week that he could be on the move.”

Playing with Bogdanovic would likely be a dream come true for Doncic considering the close friendship they share, and Dallas could potentially convince Atlanta to deal him for a cheap price at some point over the next week. Bogdanovic is having a down year with the Hawks as he is posting career lows nearly across the entire board, but his skill as a shooter is undeniable, regardless of what the numbers this season say (30.1 percent from downtown on 6.1 attempts per game).

While Dallas’ priority seems to be adding frontcourt depth and or a lockdown perimeter defender, adding another shooter is not a bad idea. The Mavericks are ranked 12th in the NBA in 3-pointers made with 632 and ninth in the NBA in 3-point percentage, which are both respectable numbers, and adding Bogdanovic into the mix could help boost both of these numbers to the moon.

With the shot-creation abilities of Doncic, Bogdanovic would be getting some of the best looks of his career, and he’d be provided with a fresh start playing for the Mavericks. Playing next to Doncic has helped resurrect several different players’ careers when it comes to the shots that he creates for them, and the same could be said about Bogdanovic if the Mavericks make a move for him.

Bogdanovic is averaging 10.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 0.8 steals per game this season while shooting 37.1 percent from the field and 30.1 percent from three, and all of these numbers are way down from what he posted last season when he was in conversations of being one of the best bench players in the NBA. His 3-point shooting off the catch makes him someone that defenses always have to account for, and he would make Dallas’ bench even more deadly if he could improve his efficiency.

Dallas’ main priority should remain to add a perimeter defender, but if Atlanta ends up pushing hard to trade Boogdanovic, the opportunity may be too good for Dallas to pass up.

After this season, Bogdanovic is set to make $16 million next season before having a team option for $16 million for the 2026-27 season, and he could be a good investment if Dallas thinks they can get him playing like a Sixth Man of the Year candidate again.

The NBA trade deadline is fast approaching, and the Dallas Mavericks have just been given a golden opportunity to make a move that could greatly benefit their team. With the news that star player Luka Doncic is eager for a change and open to a trade, the door has swung wide open for the Mavericks to make a deal that could reshape their roster and elevate their chances of success.

Doncic, one of the most talented and promising young players in the league, has expressed frustration with the current state of the Mavericks and his desire to play for a team that can contend for a championship. This revelation has undoubtedly caught the attention of other teams around the league, who will be keen to make a move for the 23-year-old superstar.

For the Mavericks, this presents a unique opportunity to make a trade that could bring in multiple pieces to bolster their roster and surround Doncic with the talent he needs to succeed. With the right deal, the Mavericks could become legitimate contenders in the Western Conference and potentially make a deep playoff run.

It will be interesting to see how the Mavericks approach this situation and what moves they make in the coming days. One thing is for certain – the door is wide open for them to make a trade that could change the course of their season and the future of their franchise. Doncic may just get the fresh start he’s been looking for, and the Mavericks could be on their way to building a championship-caliber team.

  • We Love Having Bad Bunny, He Killed It In Puerto Rico

    Generate Key Takeaways

In professional wrestling, there have been several celebrities who have competed in wrestling matches. Stars such as Snoop Dogg, David Arquette, Hugh Jackman, Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che and Colin Jost. But very few stand out by putting on a spectacle for the fans.

One celebrity who surprised and entertained the fans with his in-ring skills is a multi-platinum recording artist and Grammy Award-winning star, Bad Bunny. Bunny has competed in a few matches in WWE. One was a singles match against Damian Priest at the Backlash Premium Live Event. The other was a tag team match where he teamed up with Damian Priest to take on The Miz and John Morrison. That match took place at WrestleMania 37. Bunny has also competed in the 30-Man Royal Rumble match.

Recently, current Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker shared his thoughts on Bad Bunny potentially returning to WWE. During an appearance on the Pacman Jones’ show, Bron Breakker shared his thoughts on the Grammy Award Winning Singer making a return to WWE. Breakker mentioned that Bunny’s return to WWE would be pretty cool.

“I think that’d be cool, bro. He obviously loves WWE and loves being a part of what we do. We love having him whenever he can come and wrestle. He killed it in Puerto Rico. I mean, everything that he’s done with us has been great. It’s been super entertaining, I’m sure, for the fans to watch. I think it’d be exciting, man. That’s big-time stuff. Anytime that he does anything with us, it’s always pretty cool,” Bron Breakker said. [H/T Fightful.com]

Bad Bunny had previously mentioned that he would like to wrestle one more match in WWE.

  • We Like, But Don’t Love, This Valentine to Scream

“What’s your favorite scary movie set on Valentine’s Day?” the ghostfaced killer of Scream might croak into a voice modulator if he was feeling a little romantic as well as homicidal. Any card-carrying horror geek could rattle off a few answers, from the cult 1980s bloodfest My Bloody Valentine to that film’s stereoscopic ’00s remake to the justly forgotten post-Scream whodunit Valentine. This February, there’s a new addition to the canon of cupid slashers. But Heart Eyes doesn’t merely pervert the spirit of the Hallmark holiday on which it takes place. As Werewolves Within director Josh Ruben turns the most lovey-dovey night of the year into a nightmare, what emerges is as much an actual romantic comedy as it is a horror movie. Just as the original Scream indulged the very tropes it was skewering, so does its latest spiritual descendant play like a Katherine Heigl or Kate Hudson vehicle rudely invaded – but not quite derailed – by a masked maniac on the prowl.

Such genre cocktails are a specialty of writers Christopher Landon and Michael Kennedy, whose respective filmographies include stabby spins on Groundhog Day, Freaky Friday, and It’s a Wonderful Life. In its crudely cheeky way, Heart Eyes commits to the sappy side of its cinematic recipe: Date-movie connoisseurs will certainly recognize Ally (Olivia Holt), a heartbroken cynic who churns out disingenuous romantic platitudes for the marketing department of a Seattle-based jewelry company. In typical rom-com fashion, Ally has a bumbling meet-cute at her local coffee shop, only to discover that smooth, yoga-loving heartthrob Jay (Mason Gooding, who plays one of the next-gen survivors of the recent Scream sequels) has been brought on to run damage control on the campaign she’s just spearheaded. “It’s a farce, a lie,” she says of love over their business dinner. He bats his eyes and begs to differ.

As if working on the night of Valentine’s Day weren’t bad enough, Ally and Jay have to contend with the Heart Eyes Killer, a prowling lunatic who confuses the two for one of the happy couples he (or she!) butchers. The movie opens, à la Scream, with brutal double homicide – a sequence that sets the glibly hyper-violent tone. Set to the mawkish tune of LoneStar’s cheeseball ballad “Amazed,” the scene goes overboard on the slasher protocol of making us really dislike the soon-to-be-deceased. Were the sacrificial lovebirds anything more than annoying, would we chortle at one of them getting smashed like a juicy grape during her engagement at a dreamy winery?

Most of the splatter in Heart Eyes is comparably frivolous and cartoonish. Ruben’s adaptation of the Ubisoft VR game Werewolves Within was similarly indebted to the sardonic spirit and whodunit plotting of Scream, and his filmography has gradually grown more explicit with each new movie: His first, Scare Me, was a smartly minimalist experiment in campfire storytelling, where the mayhem was all described and implied. Heart Eyes leaves very little to the imagination, but Ruben still applies some of his own to the suspense sequences, including a chase aboard a carnival carousel and a scene where Jay has to evade a slicing and dicing while handcuffed to a table. There’s some brio, too, in the execution of the executions: When one unlucky horndog gets a tire iron through the noggin, the filmmaker zooms backwards through the gaping wound to land on our petrified sweethearts-to-be.

Much of the movie is more canny than clever. The script’s idea of wit is having the broad best friend character (Gigi Zumbado) cram a half-dozen romantic comedy titles into a single sentence. And while Scream actually got your heart pounding – the key to that movie’s success was that it mocked thriller conventions while giving them a genuinely thrilling workout – Heart Eyes is scary mostly in scare quotes. The ending blatantly rips off (or plays homage to, if you wanted to be generous) that Wes Craven classic. But it lacks the jolt of dark discovery, to say nothing of the satisfaction of a mystery ingeniously solved: Woodsboro’s resident horror aficionado Randy Meeks would be quick to point out that when your cast list includes only half a dozen prominent speaking roles, it’s not very difficult to play detective and correctly guess who’s been under the mask the whole time.

Still, as with Happy Death Day and Freaky, there’s fun to be found in the gory fusion at play. Heart Eyes might wink at rom-com clichés like the dress montage and the climatic race to the airport, but it approaches its stock love story with sincerity; the two leads never betray that they’re in on the joke or that they’re playing a quintessential example of opposites-attract chemistry. As it turns out, crossing a so-so horror movie with a so-so romantic comedy improves both. That said, there’s no quicker way to underscore the relative flatness of your supposedly snappy banter than to set a whole sequence at a drive-in theater playing His Girl Friday. Talk about courting unflattering comparisons! It’s akin to devising a slasher throwback that works in footage from Halloween. Oh, wait.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and while we like the idea of celebrating love and affection, there’s one thing we’re not totally on board with – the pressure to scream our love from the rooftops.

Don’t get us wrong, we’re all for expressing our feelings and showing appreciation for our loved ones. But the expectation to go all out with grand gestures, extravagant gifts, and over-the-top declarations of love can sometimes feel forced and insincere.

Instead of feeling like we have to proclaim our love in the loudest, most extravagant way possible, let’s focus on the little moments and gestures that truly matter. A heartfelt note, a thoughtful gesture, or simply spending quality time together can speak volumes more than any grand gesture ever could.

So this Valentine’s Day, let’s dial back the pressure to scream our love and instead focus on showing it in meaningful, genuine ways. Because at the end of the day, it’s the thought and effort behind the gesture that truly matters, not the volume at which it’s proclaimed.

  • Love and Relationship Horoscope for February 1, 2025 | Astrology

Aries: Today, you may feel something you have experienced before. Even if it’s a song on the radio or a random person, you will be hit by a wave of nostalgia that is much stronger than you expected. See this as a chance to think about what you are doing, and don’t rush back into the same behaviour without considering it much. Your feelings may be intense, but reason will prevail only if you let yourself sort out what is really important to you.

Daily Love and Relationship Horoscope Today 2025: Find out love predictions for February 1

Taurus: Love may call out to you today, but you must be careful before making any statements. Even if there’s chemistry in talking, do not forget that love needs time to grow. Do not be blinded by the first impressions that are given to you. This might result from the desire to solidify things, but relationships grow out of depth, not mere passion. Time is on your side, and you should let things happen at their own pace.

Gemini: Your energy level may not be high today, which is a hint that you should relax a bit. Though one side of you is still insistent that you go out and attend to social obligations, the other side just wants to lie down and spend some time with a loved one. Do not fight the temptation to relax. This is a time to look for comfort. Whether you are reading a book or talking to your partner, any quiet time spent together will only be good for your relationship.

Cancer: It may feel like romance is progressing slower than you would like, but do not let the impatience get in the way. Your passion is your asset, but your partner might not be as obsessive as you are at that moment. Be gentle to let love grow on its own. Have faith that this journey is happening the way it is supposed to. When you are willing to let go of the results, love will find ways of expressing itself in the most beautiful ways possible.

Leo: The need for love and intimacy is strong today, and you may feel closer than ever before to finding your soul mate. However, there can come a moment when doubt appears and makes you question your intuition. Do not be afraid to go for something important to you. Although there is no clear way to reach the state of love, the object of your attraction may be much more complex than you initially thought. Relax and let the process happen.

Virgo: Today is the day to change how you look at love. It is time to state what you want instead of waiting for others to do it for you. New prospects in love affairs might appear, and the only thing that can be done is to be confident and act. Let your feelings dictate you, but do not be afraid to take risks. This moment is about rising up to the occasion and embracing new experiences with enthusiasm.

Libra: It’s quite relaxing to be on the receiving end in love today. You derive pleasure from existence when you decide to go with the flow. Allow the world to speak in its own time, and do not rush for solutions. However, sometimes love comes to you when you do not look for it. For now, the main emphasis should be placed on the improvement of one’s personality. When you care for yourself, you attract the right people towards you.

Scorpio: Romance becomes even more passionate today, which means that you are encouraged to try something new with your partner. Just as it is impossible to ignore the hush or gossip that surrounds your relationship, it is equally important not to lose sight of the reality that you have within you. True closeness is not in the words that are spoken or in the physical touch but in the moments of shared silence. Let your actions demonstrate how much you care.

Sagittarius: Today, your emotions might be split between attractive people. One feels like you are with a friend, and the other makes you feel like you are with a stranger you have a chance with. Instead of quickly deciding which of these two directions is right, allow yourself to try out both. You will get clarity as you listen to the inner voice. Appreciate the impermanency of the situation, and enjoy your friendships while maintaining romantic relationships.

Capricorn: There may be a discussion but little action regarding your love life today. Although it is possible to be carried away by the discussion, refrain from allowing outside opinions to influence your emotions. Romance is something that should be experienced with the heart and not the mind. Take a break from the noise and lose yourself in love. Believe that there is more than what is being said. Learn to embrace love in its purest form.

Aquarius: Today, your persuasive abilities regarding love are off the charts. Whether telling your partner that you love him or her or trying to say something that may make the other person uncomfortable, your words can make people come closer; if you have something important to say, this is the time to do so and say it passionately. Your candour and affability give the impression of warmth and tolerance.

Pisces: When thinking about the future of your romantic life, you are likely to feel a low-key yearning today. This can be when you are in a relationship or on the verge of starting a new one; fear of change might influence your mind. Have faith that change is typically accompanied by uncertainty. Get rid of doubt and welcome what is on the horizon. When you let go of fear and uncertainty, you create the conditions for love and other positive things to grow.
