Head coach Brad Underwood is 6-6 against Ohio State and has led Illinois to wins in five of the last seven meetings, including a road win in Columbus in the lone regular-season matchup last year, and a 77-74 come-from-behind win in the quarterfinal to open the Illini’s 2024 Big Ten Tournament Championship run.

Since 2019-20, the Illini boast the third-best home record in the Big Ten at 78-16 (.830). Nationally, that ranks 13th among teams that have played each of the last six seasons in a power conference.
Illinois is a combined 5-4 away from State Farm Center this season, with a 3-3 mark in true road contests. The Illini had won three straight conference road games prior to an 80-78 heartbreaker at No. 12 Michigan State on Jan. 19, and an 80-74 overtime loss at Nebraska on Jan. 30.

Kasparas Jakucionis is a unanimous selection to the five-player Freshman All-America Team by The Athletic.
Jakucionis has also been named Midseason All-America third team by The Sporting News. Jakucionis was one of just two freshmen among the 15 players recognized, along with Duke’s Cooper Flagg.
Jakucionis recorded 21 points, seven rebounds and seven assists last Thursday vs. Maryland, his eighth 20-point game of the season which ties the Illinois program freshman record. He followed that performance with back-to-back double-doubles vs. Northwestern (11-point, 10-rebound) and at Nebraska (18 points, 13 rebounds).
Illinois is No. 18 in the latest KenPom net rating at 24.42. The Fighting Illini are on pace for their fourth top-20 rating in the last five seasons under Brad Underwood.
Four of Illinois’ last six wins have come by 25+ points. The Illini defeated Chicago State, 117-64 (+53), recorded an historic 109-77 (+32) victory at No. 9 Oregon, earned a 91-52 (+39) home win over Penn State, and rolled to a 94-69 (+25) victory at Indiana. The Illini have led by 25+ points in nine games this season.
Illinois is averaging 85.2 points, the team’s highest output since the 1988-89 Flyin’ Illini averaged 86.4 ppg. Illinois is on pace for the No. 6 scoring offense mark in program history.
Illinois ranks second in the Big Ten with a scoring margin of +15.2 points. That is on pace for No. 3 in the Illini record book behind the 1942-43 team, which outscored opponents by 20.6 points per game, and the 2004-05 Illini that posted a scoring margin of +15.9 ppg., the team’s best mark since 1960.
Illinois leads the nation in rebounding at 45.6 boards per game, on pace for the program’s best average in 53 seasons, since ( 48.0 rpg in 1971-72). The Orange and Blue have outrebounded their opponent in 18 of 21 games this season.
The Illini rank No. 12 in KenPom adjusted defensive efficiency (93.7), on pace for its highest ranking since reaching seventh during the 2021 season, and the second-best number of the Underwood era (88.9 in 2021).
Illinois is sixth nationally in KenPom’s effective field goal percentage defense (.439), ranking seventh in 3-point defense (.284) and 15th in 2-point defense (.445). Illinois and Florida are the only two programs to rank in the top 15 of both categories.
According to KenPom, the Illini rank third nationally, and first among Power Conference programs, with a 3-point attempt rate (3-point attempts/total field goal attempts) of 30.1%. Among major conference teams, Illinois ranks first nationally with five games of 15+ made 3-pointers.
Illinois is 3-3 against Top-25 ranked teams this season with wins over No. 19 Arkansas, No. 20 Wisconsin, and at No. 9 Oregon. The Illini’s three ranked wins are tied for 10th most in the nation.
Brad Underwood has led the Illini program to Top-25 rankings in seven consecutive seasons, currently at No. 18 in the latest AP poll and 20th in the coaches poll. Illinois has been ranked for a total of eight weeks this season, including an active streak of six -consecutive weeks, and has reached as high as 13th.
Illinois has registered 75 wins in league play since the start of the 2019-20 season, one behind Purdue for the most in the conference over the last six seasons. And when including the conference tournament, the Illini have 80 wins during this time span, also one behind Purdue’s mark.
The Illini won the 2024 Big Ten Tournament championship as the #2 seed, captured the regular season championship in 2022, and led the conference in wins while adding a B1G Tournament crown in 2021, and the team’s three total championships during that span are tied with Purdue for the most in the Big Ten.
Following the 2024 Elite Eight appearance and Big Ten Tournament Championship, Illinois has a dramatically different roster this season. The program returns just one rotation player – last year’s ninth-leading scorer Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn – and returns just 2.9% of its minutes, 2.2% of its points, and 2.0% of its rebounds overall.
Eight different Illini players have recorded a 20-point game this season, tied for the top mark in the NCAA, and the most by any Big Ten program since at least 2004-05.
Newcomers to the Illini roster have accounted for 91.5% of the team’s scoring so far (1,619 of 1,770 total points), with UI freshmen accounting for 40.5% of those points (656).
Four of the Illinois’ top scorers and rebounders are all in their first year of collegiate basketball. Freshman G Kasparas Jakucionis ranks first in scoring (16.0 ppg) and third in rebounding (5.8 rpg). Sophomore C Tomislav Ivisic nearly averages a double-double at 13.0 points (second on team) and team-leading 8.5 rebounds. Freshman F Will Riley is the Illini’s No. 4 scorer at 10.4 points per game. And Freshman F Morez Johnson Jr. ranks second on the team at 6.5 rebounds per game with a team-leading 52 offensive boards (2.5 per game).
At 16.0 points per game, point guard Kasparas Jakucionis is on pace to break the Illini freshman scoring average record of 15.9 ppg set by Kiwane Garris 31 years ago.
Jakucionis has posted four game this season with 20+ points, 6+ rebounds and 5+ assists, tied for third nationally with Auburn fifth-year senior Johni Broome and Purdue junior Braden Smith.
Jakucionis scored 20+ points in six straight games from Nov. 25-Dec. 22, shattering the Illini freshman record for consecutive 20-point games (previous record was two).
Jakucionis became the fourth Big Ten freshman since 1996-97 with at least six-straight 20-point games, and the first to do so since Indiana’s Eric Gordon had seven in a row in 2007.
Jakucionis has eight 20-point games this season, tying the Illini all-time record for 20-point games by a freshman with Cory Bradford who set the current mark as a redshirt freshman in 1998-99.
Over his last 14 games, Jakucionis is averaging 17.9 points (251), 5.7 rebounds (81), and 5.2 assists (73), knocking down an average of 2.3 threes per game (32) on 39.0% from 3-point range (32-82) along with 87.5% from the foul line (63-72).
Tomislav Ivisic is the No. 6 rebounder in the Big Ten at 8.5 rpg. Ivisic has led the Illini rebounding effort, which ranks No. 1 nationally in total rebounds per game, in 11 of the 18 games in which he has played.
Ivisic, classified as sophomore in his first season of collegiate competition, has recorded seven double-doubles through 18 games, ranking fifth in the Big Ten, tied for 40th in the NCAA overall, and tied for first among power conference underclassmen.
Ben Humrichous has knocked down at least one 3-pointer in 19 of 21 games this season. He leads the team and ranks 13th in the Big Ten averaging 2.0 triples per contest.
After opening the year averaging 7.1 points and 5.0 rebounds in eight games, Tre White has found a rhythm on the court for the Illini. Beginning with a 23-point, 8 rebound effort vs. #20 Wisconsin on Dec. 10, White is averaging 12.1 points (157) and 6.2 rebounds (80) over the last 13 games, scoring in double figures seven times.
During that same 13-game stretch, Kylan Boswell is averaging 13.9 points (181), 6.4 rebounds (83), and 3.9 assists (51). He scored a career-high 22 points in the Illini’s win at Indiana (Jan. 14).
Boswell recorded the seventh triple-double in Illinois history and fifth of the Underwood era against Chicago State (Dec. 29), tallying 18 points, career-high 10 rebounds, and career-high 10 assists.
Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn continues to make a big impact off the bench for the Illini in his sophomore season. Over his last 11 games, Gibbs-Lawhorn is averaging 10.4 points (114) while shooting 54.5% (42-77) from the field.
Morez Johnson Jr. is also excelling for the Illini. Over his last 11 games Johnson is averaging 8.0 points (88) and 6.9 rebounds (76), highlighted by a 20-point, 11-rebound double-double in the win over Penn State (Jan. 8), and a 15-point, nine-rebound effort in his second-career start vs. Northwestern on Jan. 26.
Johnson, at 6.5 rebounds per game, is on track for the fourth-best freshman mark in Illini history.
Johnson posted his third double-double of the season in Illinois’ Jan. 8 win over Penn State, recording a career-high 20 points and pulling down a game-high 11 rebounds.
Through 21 games, Johnson has recorded 26 total blocks, tied for seventh in the Illini freshman record book with Giorgi Bezhanishvili (2018-19). Johnson is on pace to finish his freshman season third among Illini freshmen all-time behind only Deon Thomas (54 in 1990-91) and Kofi Cockburn (44 in 2019-20).
Illinois leads the Big Ten in seven team statistical categories, with the following NCAA rankings: total rebounds per game (1st in NCAA; 45.6), defensive rebounds per game (1st; 31.8), rebound margin (1st; 11.7), 3-point attempts per game (4th; 31.5), 3-point percentage defense (10th; .284), offensive rebounds per game (22nd; 13.8), and field goal percentage defense (25th; .397).
Three Illini scored 20+ points vs. Penn State – Ben Humrichous (21), Morez Johnson Jr. (20) and Tre White (20). It marked just the third time in the last 35 seasons that Illinois had a game featuring a trio of 20-point scorers.
Illinois’ 32-point road win over #9 Oregon was the largest margin of victory ever by a road team over an AP Top-10 opponent, and the largest road win in Illinois program history against any top-25 opponent.
In their 109-77 win at #9 Oregon, Illinois became the first Big Ten team since Feb. 9, 1989, to record 100+ points in a Top-10 road win (No. 10 Michigan defeated No. 8 Iowa, 108-107).
Illinois also posted a dominant 94-69 win at Indiana on Jan. 14. The 25-point margin of victory was the second-largest for a Hoosiers’ opponent in Assembly Hall history, while Illinois’ 94 points marked the most ever scored by a visiting team in a regulation game at Assembly Hall.

Jalen Brunson may be a Knicks star, but he is a proud Eagles fan. The former Villanova product is always sure to display his Eagles fandom, especially when they go on a run to the Super Bowl.
Of course, that can ruffle some feathers in New York, as many Knicks fans are Giants fans who hate Philadelphia teams. Among those fans is comedian Jon Stewart, who made a bet with Brunson for the NFL season, which Brunson ultimately won.
On Saturday night, with the Knicks hosting the Lakers, Stewart is paying off that bet by wearing a Saquon Barkley Eagles jersey to the game.
A bet is a bet. See you tonight @jalenbrunson1 https://t.co/WYqxrRdo7a pic.twitter.com/PUhUuiNBaI

— NEW YORK KNICKS (@nyknicks) February 2, 2025
Here’s a breakdown of the bet between Brunson and Stewart, dating back all the way to the beginning of the NFL season.
SN’s NBA HQ: Live NBA scores | Updated NBA standings | Full NBA schedule
Jalen Brunson-Jon Stewart bet, explained
On September 8, before the NBA season began and as the NFL season was first unfolding, Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart had Jon Stewart as a guest on their “Roommates Show: Block Party” live show. During the show, Eagles fan Brunson made a bet with Giants fan Stewart for when the Eagles and Giants met in the regular season.
The bet went as follows: If the Eagles won, Stewart had to wear a Saquon Barkley Eahles jersey to a Knicks game. If the Giants win, Stewart got to choose a jersey for Brunson to wear when entering the arena before a game.
Jalen Brunson and Jon Stewart on a bet for when the Giants play the Eagles:
*If PHIL wins, Jon has to wear a Saquon Barkley Eagles jersey to a Knicks game*
*If NYG win, Jalen would wear any jersey of Jon’s choice to the arena*

— Randy Cruz (@randyjcruz) September 8, 2024
The Giants and Eagles played twice in the regular season, leaving the door open for a 1-1 record, but it didn’t matter: Philadelphia won both matchups. Therefore, Stewart lost the bet, which he is paying off tonight.
Where is Jon Stewart from?
Stewart is a native New Yorker, having grown up in New York City, and he’s spent most of his life in the area. As a result, Stewart is a fan of all New York sports teams, including the Knicks, Giants, Mets and Rangers.
Where is Jalen Brunson from?
Brunson spent the first part of his life in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, which is located right outside the city of Philadelphia. While he moved a lot as a kid, which includes settling near Chicago for high school, Brunson adopted the Eagles as his favorite NFL team and he remains a proud fan despite playing in New York now.
Jalen Brunson-Jon Stewart Bet Explained: Why Comedian is Wearing an Eagles Jersey to Knicks-Lakers MatchupIn a surprising turn of events, comedian Jon Stewart found himself donning an Eagles jersey at a recent Knicks-Lakers matchup. So, what’s the story behind this unexpected wardrobe choice?
It all started when Stewart, a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, made a bet with Dallas Mavericks player Jalen Brunson, who happens to be a loyal Cowboys supporter. The stakes were high: the loser had to wear the jersey of the opposing team to a high-profile sporting event.
Unfortunately for Stewart, the Cowboys fell short in their matchup against the Eagles, leading to Brunson claiming victory in the bet. True to his word, Stewart showed up to the Knicks-Lakers game sporting the green and white colors of his rival team.
While it may have been a tough loss for Stewart, it’s all in good fun and sportsmanship. The comedian took the bet in stride and even managed to poke some fun at himself during the game.
So, next time you see Jon Stewart rocking an Eagles jersey, just remember it’s all part of a friendly wager between two sports fans. And who knows, maybe this bet will lead to more entertaining challenges between these unlikely rivals in the future.

#wins #Franz #Wagner #Collin #Sexton #matchup #tonights #gameNotes from Stoudamire and George’s media ahead of matchup vs. Louisville
Georgia Tech head coach Damon Stoudamire and sophomore guard Nait George met with the media on Friday as the Jackets get set to host No. 21 Louisville on Saturday at 3:45 p.m. at McCamish Pavilion.
The Cardinals have won 10 straight games and currently sit at second in the ACC standings with a 9-1 conference record. Stoudamire said a lot of their success has to do with how hard they play and how connected they are on the floor.
“You can kind of see them building as the year went on. They might’ve had a little lull right before Christmas, but they just kept building and building, and they found a great rhythm,” said Stoudamire. “They play for each other and look like they have a lot of fun with each other. And they’re not one of the hottest teams in the league, they’re one of the hottest teams in the country. I’m looking forward to the game, but that’s who they are. They are a transition team. We’ve got to have a lot of energy. We’ve to match their energy.”
Stoudamire said perimeter defense will be key with as well as Louisville shoots it from 3-point range along with sprinting back on defense to be matched up with your man.
“But at the same time, we can’t be on our heels playing against this team,” said Stoudamire. “They’re a really good team obviously, respect what they’re doing. They’ve done a great job, but we’ve got to run it back at them. We’ve got to be aggressive in the things that we do.”
Stoudamire said another important aspect of the game would be keeping Louisville off the boards and match the physicality of the game as the Cardinals constantly send four people to rebound and do it very aggressively.
Stoudamire said the starting lineup is still something he changes based on each game and used Duncan Powell as an example who has been playing well and came off the bench in the Notre Dame game to give the team a boost. He said “Dunc” has been really good and only getting better. He added that Louisville plays a little smaller most of the time so that would go into his decision on which lineup he uses the most on Saturday because you can’t really have any lulls in scoring going up against them.
Stoudamire said despite the setbacks the team has faced with tough losses (like Tuesday’s loss at Notre Dame) and constant bad injury luck this year there hasn’t been any drop-off in energy in practice and the team is still positive and up-beat.
“Attitudes have been great, and I still feel like we can do some things,” said Stoudamire. “We’ve got 10 games to go, and it starts tomorrow.”
Stoudamire said that he doesn’t see much difference as far as what it does for his team playing against an opponent that plays a smaller lineup or bigger lineup but that going up against a smaller team allows you to put your five best on the floor. Even with that, he said it doesn’t make that much of a difference with the way his roster has been cut down with injuries, only having six or seven to pick from depending on the day.
“I trust our guys. We just have to…you know it’s unfortunate. Notre Dame game we were good for 38 minutes and we probably gave away five or six plays throughout the game but those five or six plays cost us,” said Stoudamire.
Stoudamire said there hasn’t been much change to the content and pace of practice due to the limited numbers but you certainly have to condense practices sometimes to be aware of overall health of the team. He said they do a lot of running early in practice not because it is a punishment but just something they have to do to be in shape and be able to have stamina in games with the numbers available.
“It’s been a different year and has caused me to make a lot of adjustments on the fly,” said Stoudamire. “But it’s been good still at the same time. Like I said, I love the way the guys compete. They’re still working.”
Stoudamire was asked about recruiting Eric Chatfield Jr. in this year’s class and what he saw in him. He said Chatfield is a “shifty guard and can shoot it” and big picture he’s the kind of guard that is only going to get better and better. He said he was a high-character kid that comes from a great family and he looks forward to coaching him.
In a follow-up when asked if Stoudamire sees any of himself in Chatfield, he responded that it remains to be seen with a smile. He said he doesn’t want to put that on him, but he has the chance to be good. He said it’s on Chatfield to prove if he can play early based on how he progresses once he gets to Tech.
Stoudamire was asked about his preseason expectations of Nait George and Baye Ndongo being prioritized differently by opponents because they are at the top of the scouting report this year. He said it’s still a “work-in-progress” and an “every day thing.”
He said that the pair has had to take on a lot not just because of how well they played last year but also with the injuries this season, more has been put on them. He said Ndongo has been more active and improved the last few games and getting back to “doing the things we want him to do.” He added that George has been good and getting better, but he still wants to see him score more like last game against Notre Dame. Stoudamire said he wants George to take more mid-range shots and take what the defense gives him as the point guard more to have more success.
“I think that both of them are evolving as players, and I think that everything we are doing is going to benefit them moving towards the future,” said Stoudamire.
George talked with the media as well coming off a strong individual effort against Notre Dame and was first asked about what Georgia Tech has shown the last couple years as far as getting up for ranked opponents. George said he and his teammates do sense that and it creates a different kind of energy and approach to the game when they face those better opponents.
George said they do feel like they needed to get more defensive stops down the stretch vs. Notre Dame but as far as the offensive end, they got the shots they wanted, it’s just a matter of knocking down those shots and he feels like they will do that going forward.
George said he doesn’t pay much attention to his assist numbers other than checking out where his averages rank in the ACC every once in a while, but other than that, he doesn’t worry too much about individual stats.
George said he definitely has heard a lot from Stoudamire about taking more mid-range shots and he’s a lot more comfortable taking them now when the defense gives it to him.
George said he didn’t really expect as much of a difference from his freshman to sophomore season as far as how opponents would play against him and Ndongo, but he realized early on in the season that it was a real thing and they just have to step up and make plays for their team. He said he believes both of them have it in them to do that even though it hasn’t shown up at times this season but they will.
George said they feel as a team that they are prepared well in practice for what they want to do defensively but they have to carry it over into the game better.
George was asked about his thoughts on Louisville.
“They’re good, but we’ve just got to cut off their threes in transition. Just transition in general, their lobs and stopping Chucky Hepburn from getting mid-range,” said George. “They’re dangerous from 3, especially in transition. So if we can cut that out and make them a half-court team, slow them down, we should compete.”
George said that with the shortened rotation playing because of the injuries they still don’t feel it too much on the court except for when there are stretches with no dead balls and just up-and-down play.
Georgia Tech and Louisville will battle at 3:45 p.m. Saturday
In anticipation of the highly anticipated matchup between Stoudamire and George’s teams, both coaches took to the media to share their thoughts and strategies for the game.Stoudamire emphasized the importance of defense and rebounding in order to contain Louisville’s high-scoring offense. He noted that his team has been working tirelessly in practice to improve their defensive rotations and communication on the court.
Additionally, Stoudamire expressed confidence in his team’s ability to execute offensively and capitalize on scoring opportunities. He highlighted the importance of ball movement and making smart decisions with the basketball.
On the other hand, George emphasized the need for his team to stay composed and focused throughout the game. He emphasized the importance of mental toughness and resilience in the face of adversity.
George also noted the importance of executing their game plan and staying disciplined on both ends of the court. He emphasized the need for his team to play with energy and intensity from the opening tip-off to the final buzzer.
Overall, both coaches are gearing up for a competitive and exciting matchup, and fans can expect a thrilling game between two talented teams.

Tennessee PG Zakai Zeigler out for top-10 matchup vs. Florida
Tennessee point guard Zakai Zeigler will not play against Florida in Saturday’s top-10 matchup, coach Rick Barnes told ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Zeigler left Tuesday’s game against Kentucky with a right knee injury, but he came back to start the second half and finished the game. The senior missed practice Thursday and was listed as questionable on the SEC injury report.
One of the best point guards in the country, Zeigler has been a catalyst for the Volunteers at both ends of the court, averaging 12.3 points, 7.4 assists and 2.1 steals per game. He has started 67 games over the past three seasons.
With Zeigler sidelined, Tennessee will likely have to turn to sixth man Jordan Gainey to initiate the offense. A natural shooting guard, Gainey is averaging 10.8 points per game off the bench.
Tennessee starting forward Igor Milicic Jr. is battling an illness and also won’t play in Saturday’s game, a school spokesperson told ESPN.
Former Hofstra transfer Darlinstone Dubar is starting in place of Milicic, who is averaging 10.4 points and 8.1 rebounds this season.
Without Zeigler and Milicic, the Volunteers are down to seven scholarship players.
Tennessee, which was ranked No. 1 in the country after winning its first 14 games, has lost four of its past seven games — including two in a row to Auburn and Kentucky.
The No. 8 Volunteers (17-4, 4-4 SEC) host No. 5 Florida (18-2, 5-2 SEC) at noon ET Saturday (ESPN).
Tennessee PG Zakai Zeigler out for top-10 matchup vs. FloridaUnfortunately, Tennessee fans will have to wait a little longer to see star point guard Zakai Zeigler in action as he has been ruled out for the highly anticipated top-10 matchup against Florida. Zeigler, who has been a key player for the Volunteers this season, is dealing with a minor injury that will keep him sidelined for this crucial game.
While it’s disappointing to not have Zeigler on the court for such a big game, Tennessee fans can take solace in the fact that they have a deep roster and talented players who can step up in his absence. It will be a tough challenge against a strong Florida team, but the Volunteers will have to rally together and play their best basketball to come out on top.
As for Zeigler, the focus now will be on getting healthy and returning to action as soon as possible. His presence on the court will be greatly missed, but his teammates will no doubt be motivated to play hard and secure a win for him in his absence. Let’s hope for a speedy recovery for Zeigler and a successful game for the Volunteers against Florida.

Luka Doncic’s Injury State Before Mavericks-Pistons Matchup
For the first time during the 2024-2025 NBA season, the Dallas Mavericks and the Detroit Pistons are set to battle it out on Friday night.
When the Pistons host the Mavs, the visitors won’t have a key name in the mix as Luka Doncic remains off the floor as he continues to heal up from a calf injury.
The last time Doncic played for the Mavs was back on Christmas Day. The Mavericks hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves and managed to only roll out Doncic for 16 minutes.

Mandatory Credit: Jerome Miron-Imagn Images / Jerome Miron-Imagn Images When the star guard left the court, he had 14 points on 56 percent shooting from the field, along with five rebounds and two assists.
The Mavericks took a loss against the Timberwolves and would soon go on a big losing streak as they looked for ways to survive life without Doncic for the time being.
Prior to going out with his injury, Doncic appeared in just 22 games for the Mavs this year. He was producing 28 points per game, along with eight rebounds and eight assists. Taking nearly 10 threes per game, Doncic was averaging 35 percent from beyond the arc.
Recently, it was reported the Mavericks are optimistic about a potential return as early as before the NBA’s All-Star break next month.
On Sunday, February 16, the NBA will host its annual All-Star event.
While Doncic could return before then, he certainly won’t see the Pistons before then. The Mavericks will continue to improve their standing in the Western Conference without the superstar on the court.

Currently, the Mavs are on a two-game winning streak.
On the other side, the Pistons are looking to climb out of a three-game losing streak. After a recent loss on the road against the Indiana Pacers, the Pistons dropped to 23-24 on the year. They are half a game behind the seventh-seeded Miami Heat.
Last season, the Mavs and the Pistons split their regular-season series. Both Doncic and Kyrie Irving were not part of the action in the mid-April game. The Pistons also missed their star guard, Cade Cunningham.
The next chance the Pistons could face Doncic is when they pay a visit to the Dallas Mavericks on March 21.

Luka Doncic’s Injury Status Before Mavericks-Pistons MatchupDallas Mavericks star player Luka Doncic is dealing with a nagging ankle injury that has kept him out of the lineup for the past few games. However, there is hope that he may be able to return for the upcoming matchup against the Detroit Pistons.
Doncic has been receiving treatment and rehabbing his ankle in hopes of being able to suit up and help lead his team to victory. The Mavericks have struggled in his absence, highlighting just how important he is to the team’s success.
Fans are eagerly awaiting news on Doncic’s status for the game against the Pistons, as his presence on the court can make a huge difference in the outcome. His scoring ability, playmaking skills, and overall impact on the game are unmatched, and the Mavericks will undoubtedly be a stronger team with him in the lineup.
Stay tuned for updates on Luka Doncic’s injury status and whether he will be able to make his return in the upcoming matchup against the Pistons. Mavericks fans are hoping for a speedy recovery and a successful comeback for their star player.
