  • Conor McGregor Stops By Bucks Bench to Size Up Brook Lopez in the Middle of a Game

Conor McGregor was on a business trip to Utah this week, but all work and no play probably makes the former UFC champion unhappy so he decided to take in a local sporting event which is how he found himself courtside as the Jazz hosted the Milwaukee Bucks.

During the second quarter McGregor was walking around court-side. His trip included walking on the floor and in front of the Bucks’ bench—both of which are probably no-no’s for normal people. Instead of hurrying to his seat as play continued after a Damian Lillard free throw, McGregor stopped, turned around and walked up to Milwaukee’s 7’1″ center Brook Lopez who was as tall seated as McGregor was standing. McGregor asked him to stand up and, well, turns out the 16-inch height difference is very noticeable.

Since there was a basketball game going on, the braodcast went back to the action before the camera person had a chance to zoom out enough for both athletes’ heads were in the same frame.

Lopez discussed the meeting in the locker room after the game, explaining that it went down exactly how it looked.

“He asked me how tall I was,” said Lopez. “I let him know. He asked me to stand up and I did. And I knew at that point once I got up I had had to size him up. You know, I had to do a little something. I’ve seen the face-offs before so I had to do my part.”

Maybe if the two ever meet again they can discuss their issues wish mascots. While McGregor greeted the Jazz bear as a friend last night, he did once send the Miami Heat mascot to the hospital during the NBA Finals.

Considering Brook Lopez’s brother Robin has a longstanding feud with mascots they must have a lot to discuss about either an escalation of force or perhaps maybe even the concept of restraint.

Conor McGregor Stops By Bucks Bench to Size Up Brook Lopez in the Middle of a Game

In a surprising turn of events during a recent Milwaukee Bucks game, UFC superstar Conor McGregor made a guest appearance courtside to size up Bucks center Brook Lopez. McGregor, known for his brash personality and fighting prowess, couldn’t resist the opportunity to check out the 7-footer in action.

As Lopez dominated in the paint, McGregor could be seen nodding approvingly and exchanging a few words with the Bucks players on the bench. The Irish fighter seemed intrigued by Lopez’s size and skill, perhaps even considering a potential matchup in the octagon.

Fans were left wondering what McGregor’s presence meant for the future of Lopez’s career, and whether a crossover into the world of MMA could be in the cards. Only time will tell if this unexpected encounter will lead to any further developments, but one thing’s for sure – McGregor’s interest in Lopez has piqued the curiosity of basketball and fighting fans alike. Stay tuned for more updates on this intriguing story.

  • Conor McGregor meets Brook Lopez on sideline during Bucks game

Former UFC star Conor McGregor happened to be in Salt Lake City on Monday, and he wound up chatting live with Fan Duel Sports Network reporter Melanie Ricks during the broadcast of the Milwaukee Bucks’ battle with the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center.

After the interview, McGregor also stopped by the Bucks bench and visited briefly with center Brook Lopez … all while the game was happening on the court. As Bucks point guard Damian Lillard was lining up a free throw, cameras caught McGregor shaking hands with Lopez and asking how tall Lopez was, prompting the veteran center to stand up and demonstrate his 7-footness.

The Ultimate Fighting great McGregor happens to stand 5-feet-9-inches tall.

Conor McGregor, the notorious MMA fighter, made a surprise appearance at the Milwaukee Bucks game last night as he met with Brook Lopez on the sideline.

The two sports stars exchanged pleasantries and posed for photos, much to the delight of fans in attendance. McGregor, known for his trash-talking and larger-than-life personality, seemed to be in good spirits as he chatted with Lopez, who is a standout player for the Bucks.

It’s always exciting when different worlds collide, and seeing McGregor and Lopez together at a basketball game was certainly a memorable moment. Who knows, maybe we’ll see a collaboration between the two athletes in the future. Stay tuned for more updates!

  • Conor McGregor, NBA 7-footer have courtside faceoff during game

The Milwaukee Bucks and Utah Jazz were in the middle of a game Monday night when UFC star Conor McGregor caught the attention of players on the Bucks’ bench in a most unexpected way.

In a sequence visible on the broadcast, McGregor appeared from out of nowhere and casually walked along the bench while action was happening on the court. It’s not like they were in the middle of a timeout; the game was being played!

McGregor was seen staring back at Bucks players when he turned and walked toward Brook Lopez. And in that moment, McGregor and the 7-foot-1 center sized each other up and had themselves a courtside faceoff.

You can watch the surreal scenes in the video below:

After the Bucks’ 125-10 victory, Lopez described what happened in the moment.

“He asked me to stand up, and I did,” Lopez told reporters in the locker room. “I knew at that point, once I got up, I had to size him up. I had to do a little something. I’ve seen the faceoffs before, so I knew I had to do my part.”

Considering McGregor is a defendant in a lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct at a 2023 NBA Finals game, it’s somewhat surprising to find out an NBA team would greenlight a promotional appearance by McGregor at one of its games.

  • Conor McGregor joins Donald Trump supporters at victory rally in US – The Irish Times

Conor McGregor was among the attendees at a pre-inauguration rally for Donald Trump in Washington DC where the US president-elect told supporters on the eve of being sworn into office he would end “American decline”.

“We are so back!” Mr McGregor posted on social media platform X, posing next to Reform UK leader Nigel Farage who joined the 20,000-strong crowd at the Capital One Arena on Sunday.

Speakers and performers at the event included musician Kid Rock, actor Jon Voight, and Dana White, the CEO of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), while billionaire supporter Elon Musk joined the president-elect on stage.

Former UFC champion McGregor flew into Washington DC by private plane from Dublin Airport accompanied by his coach John Kavanagh on Saturday, saying he planned to attend various events surrounding the inauguration.

Sharing a photo on X after his arrival in the US capital, he said: “Just landed in Washington DC to witness @realDonaldTrump become Double Champ!”

Other photographs and videos on social media showed McGregor meeting visiting dignitaries along with Pete Hegseth, Mr Trump’s nominee to serve as US secretary of defense.

“Honour to be in Washington DC to support Donald Trump, the newly elected leader of the free world and to stand with the 13 families who lost their loved ones at Abbey Gate,” McGregor sated in another post.

The service members were killed in 2021 during the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

McGregor was ordered to pay almost €250,000 in damages last November after a jury in a civil trial at the High Court found he raped Nikita Hand in a Dublin hotel in 2018. Last week, he was further was ordered by the High Court not to disseminate CCTV footage used in the civil trial, with Mr Justice Alexander Owens saying he does not get “another run” at the case by throwing out allegations on social media.

Mr Trump used the Sunday rally to again celebrate his election victory, saying: “Tomorrow, at noon, the curtain closes on four long years of American decline, and we begin a brand-new day of American strength and prosperity, dignity and pride.

“We not only won a mandate, but we built a new American majority that will lead our country to success for generations to come,” he told supporters at arena, which is normally home to the NBA’s Washington Wizards and NHL’s Washington Capitals.

Monday’s inauguration ceremony has been moved indoors due to a severe cold weather snap expected in Washington which will result in a smaller number of attendees. – Additional reporting AP

  • Jake Paul, Logan Paul, Conor McGregor Share Vehicle for Donald Trump Inauguration

Today in North America, Donald Trump will officially be sworn in again as the 47th President of the United States. With the excitement surrounding the event, there are loads of celebrities who will be pouring in to welcome Trump back into office.

More news: Jake Paul Offers Cryptic One-Word Response to Rumors of Conor McGregor Fight

Even though some of these celebrities might have issues with one another, they appear to be casting those issues aside to celebrate the monumental moment. For instance, the longstanding feud between Jake Paul, Logan Paul, and Conor McGregor appears to be over for now.

The Paul brothers and McGregor are going so far as to hang with one another and share a vehicle in what appears to be a video on the way to the event.

An image posted to Jake’s X page shows himself, Logan, McGregor, and the Paul brother’s mother heading over to what would appear to be the inauguration festivities.

Jake posted a hilarious caption that says, “Inauguration going great,” though his face tells a much different story.

HEERENVEEN, NETHERLANDS – JANUARY 11: Ruud Leerdam, Jake Paul during the ISU European Speed Skating Championships at the Thialf on January 11, 2025 in Heerenveen, Netherlands. Jake Paul, Logan Paul, and Conor McGregor are sharing…

What makes the trio hanging out with one another seem a bit confusing, is that McGregor could be set to fight Jake or Logan in the coming future.

Jake has called out McGregor practically every time he has won a boxing match and did so again when he took down Mike Tyson in November. Though the call-out appeared not to do much, McGregor randomly stated that he would be facing Logan on X.

Read more: Jake Paul Reacts to Conor McGregor Claiming He is Fighting Logan Paul

The announcement was a shock to move people, including Jake considering he has been wanting to face McGregor in the boxing ring for years. Instead of getting angry, Jake simply stated that his brother Logan would win decisively.

Following McGregor’s admission on X, more rumors began to swirl about his actual next opponent. Based on Jake’s response, he believed this call out was simply to garner a better deal for the long-awaited showdown with McGregor.

Either way, both the Paul brothers and McGregor have had a feud that stretches years and multiple callouts. They appear to be setting that feud aside to celebrate Trump being sworn back into office for the next four years.

Though the vehicle they are sharing looks like it might be filled with more people, the Paul brothers were instantly sat right next to their presumed biggest upcoming opponent.

The car ride over to the inauguration could be the time they need to also hash out a deal to see either Paul brother step into the ring with McGregor.

The bigger issue is whether or not a fight with McGregor can be made right now at all. The Irish superstar recently lost a civil case in November and was found liable for sexual assault in a Dublin High Court following a lawsuit by a woman named Nakita Hand. He has been ordered to pay her more than €248,000 in damages.

McGregor has also been named in a new lawsuit along with the Miami Heat, which accuses him of sexual assault by another woman, which reportedly occurred during the NBA Finals at Kaseya Center on June 9, 2023, where the Heat play their home games.

Whatever happens with his second sexual assault lawsuit in a year could lead to McGregor not being able to fight at all.

Jake Paul, Logan Paul, and Conor McGregor have all agreed to share a vehicle for Donald Trump’s upcoming inauguration. The trio, known for their larger-than-life personalities and social media fame, have decided to put their differences aside and come together to support the controversial former president.

Despite their differing backgrounds and opinions, the three have bonded over their mutual admiration for Trump and his policies. They believe that his inauguration is a historic event that should be celebrated with unity and solidarity.

Fans of the three stars are eagerly anticipating their joint appearance at the inauguration, with many speculating about the antics and shenanigans that are sure to ensue. Whether they will be causing chaos or simply showing their support, one thing is for sure – this is a collaboration that no one saw coming.
