AI Christmas card of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle kids goes viral

    Oh, hail no!

An AI-generated Christmas card of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s two children has taken the internet by storm.

The digital creation, which appeared to be posted by a royal fan on X last week, featured festive branches surrounding edited versions of Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, standing beside each other in a forged black and white photo.

“Merry Christmas & Happy New Year,” the forged card stated. Netflix

“Merry Christmas & Happy New Year,” the card read and was signed off “from Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet.”

Eagle-eyed netizens were quick to point out that the image seemingly made use of older public photos of the kids that were then edited to look like a new portrait.

Several users on X weighed in on the sloppy editing that all but confirmed the card was a fake.

“Crap photoshop…trouser seam isnt joined together,” one person commented on the post.

“Completely fake,” a second person agreed, with another adding, “Pathetic fakery.”

“Hidden hands and feet very strange Ai can’t do hands and feet properly yet Also b&w filter hides a whole lot of things Like the red hair The eye colour etc,” another sleuth pointed out.

“That is NOT Archie! That’s AI,” an internet user claimed.

Earlier this month, Harry, 40, and the “Suits” alum, 43, released their actual Christmas card that included a rare photo of their little ones.

“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” the official message stated.

The card featured six images, including one showing Archie and Lilibet with their backs to the camera as they ran toward their parents.

Other moments captured in the seasonal greeting card included the “Spare” author and his wife attending several philanthropic events this year.

The couple was seen on their joint trip to Columbia in one snap, and another photo illustrated Harry visiting a man in the hospital.

The family of four have been living in Montecito, Calif., since the couple resigned from their royal duties in 2020.

A source claimed last month that Harry and Markle did not receive an invite to the royal family’s Christmas celebration amid continuing tensions with his dad, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William.

A heartwarming AI-generated Christmas card featuring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s adorable children has taken the internet by storm. The digital artwork showcases the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son Archie and daughter Lilibet, surrounded by festive decorations and twinkling lights.

Fans of the royal family were quick to share the charming image on social media, with many commenting on how the AI technology perfectly captured the essence of the young royals. The card has been praised for its creativity and attention to detail, with some even suggesting that it could become an annual tradition for the Sussex family.

As the holiday season approaches, this AI Christmas card serves as a reminder of the joy and love that families share during this special time of year. It’s no wonder that this heartwarming creation has captured the hearts of so many and gone viral across the internet.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children recreated in ‘creepy’ AI Christmas card: ‘So very weird’

A fake Christmas card with what appears to be an AI-generated photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children has gone viral on social media.

A royal fan reportedly created the digital card with an alleged glimpse at the couple’s rarely seen children: Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.

The black-and-white picture features the fake Archie dressed in a sweater and cargo pants, posing next to his little sister, who appears to be wearing the same floral dress that the actual Lilibet has on in the Sussexes’ real Christmas card.

The edited image also shows versions of Harry and Meghan’s rescue dogs, Mia and Guy, behind the kids.

“Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet,” the fake card reads.

The picture made its rounds on X (formerly Twitter) as critics called the image out for clearly being fake.

    “Creepy,” one fan wrote.

“This is so very weird,” someone else said.

“A complete fabrication, 100% AI. And to think some people will believe this is real,” another tweet read.

Another user wrote, “Lili looks more like Archie than Archie does.”

“No one can create an AI generated picture of Archie & Lili because we simply don’t know how their faces look like. Therefore AI doesn’t know either. The last photos of their faces are from when they were babies, and children’s appearances are changing with a speed of light,” a different fan said.

“The kids don’t even look like brother and sister. They look like exactly what they are AI,” another tweet read.

“Worst photoshop ever,” somebody else wrote

Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, released their real Christmas card earlier this month, with a rare snapshot of their two children.

One of the six photos on the card features Archie and Lilibet — who both have red hair, just like their dad — running toward their parents. The family’s three dogs are in the picture as well.

The card includes five other photos of Harry and Meghan during their trips to Nigeria and Colombia earlier this year.

“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation,” the Christmas card’s message read.

“We wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” it added.

Last week, Harry and Meghan and their kids enjoyed a quiet Christmas at home in California after they were once again snubbed from the guest list for the royal family’s annual get-together at Sandringham House.

They celebrated the holiday with Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, at their Montecito home, according to royal biographer Ingrid Seward.

“Meghan says it’s important for her that Archie and Lilibet can have ‘connective memories’ of Thanksgiving and Christmas at home and enjoy the traditions like putting out ‘carrots for the reindeer,” Seward told the Mirror.

The rest of Harry’s estranged family congregated in St. Mary Magdalene Church on Sandringham Estate in Norfolk on Christmas Day.

King Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, who have attended morning mass at Sandringham Church annually on Christmas for years, were joined by Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children have been recreated in a ‘creepy’ AI Christmas card that has left many people feeling unsettled.

The card, created by a digital artist using artificial intelligence, features lifelike images of the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, alongside their parents. The AI-generated images are eerily realistic, with the children’s faces appearing almost too perfect and flawless.

Many people have taken to social media to express their discomfort with the AI Christmas card, with some calling it “so very weird” and “creepy.” Some have even speculated about the implications of using AI to create images of real people, particularly children.

While AI technology has advanced in recent years, creating incredibly realistic images and videos, there is still a sense of unease when it comes to recreating real people, especially young children, in this way. The debate over the ethical implications of AI-generated content is likely to continue as the technology becomes more widespread.

Celebrities like Snoop Dogg and Mariah Carey are routinely added to the fun-filled world of Fortnite, but oftentimes, the popular performers only receive a new emote instead of an entire cosmetic set. As many emotes are 800 V-Bucks or exclusively bundled with an outfit, it’s great that Epic Games is starting to set the standard of 500 V-Bucks for Fortnite emotes that mirror the dance moves or music of famous entertainers. Meghan Trainor’s other Fortnite emote, Made You Look, is also 500 V-Bucks, though it’s not currently available in the Item Shop.

This small but notable cosmetic crossover may signal future events or skins themed around Meghan Trainor, and possibly even a collaboration with the Music Pass. It’s clear that a concert featuring Trainor herself would probably be well-received, but Epic Games hasn’t announced anything of the sort just yet.

  • Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ‘disliked by Americans’ as duke set for UK return

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ‘disliked by Americans’ as duke set for UK return

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “disliked by Americans” because they “let down the Queen”, a royal biographer has claimed.

Ingrid Seward suggested that their popularity is also falling following comments from Eric Trump and the Californian-based royal’s retreat from public life.

She told The Standard: “I give a lot of talks to Americans and they all dislike Harry and Meghan.

“They hate that they let the Queen down.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s popularity is falling according to a royal expert

    Reuters

She also suggested that people have lost interest in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

This follows comments from Eric Trump around the time of the US presidential election, where he slammed the royal.

He said: “Truthfully, I don’t give a damn about Prince Harry, and I don’t think this country does either.

“My father loved the Queen, and I think the monarchy is an incredibly beautiful thing.”

Kinsey Schofield, an LA-based royal expert, told the paper that she thinks a lot of Americans will agree with the son of US President-elect Donald Trump.

    Harry and Meghan

The American opinion of the royal couple is higher than that in the UK, with more than half,53 per cent, of the US public supporting a positive view, according to YouGov

    PA

In October 2019, three months before Harry and Meghan announced they would step back from working royal duties, the Duke of Sussex was liked by 71 per cent and disliked by 22 per cent of the British public.

Data from last August shows that only 30 per cent of people now hold a favourable opinion of him, while 60 per cent disapprove, according to data from Statista.

However, the American opinion of the royal couple is higher than that in the UK – with more than half, 53 per cent, of the US public supporting a positive view, according to YouGov.

The ratings come after the youngest son of King Charles criticised the Royal Family in the infamous 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, a record-breaking Netflix documentary and the prince’s memoir Spare in 2023.

These accusations have caused a Royal Family rift, with Harry thought to not be on speaking terms with Prince William or King Charles.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have adopted a new business strategy to help revive their reputation, making more solo appearances to appeal to their different differing interests and individual demographics.

Prince Harry appeared on the East Coast at The New York Times DealBook Conference, answering questions surrounding his relationship with Meghan Markle following speculation.

He said: “Apparently we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, what?”

“Once you stop reading the stuff about yourself, you automatically remove their power.”

Prince Harry is set to return to the UK for the trial against News Group Newspapers in January 2025.

The 40-year-old accused The Sun publisher of unlawful information gathering by journalists and private investigators between 1996 and 2011.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ‘disliked by Americans’ as duke set for UK return

Recent polls show that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not as popular with Americans as they once were. The couple, who stepped down as senior members of the royal family last year, have faced criticism for their controversial decisions and public statements.

With Prince Harry set to return to the UK for the unveiling of a statue of his late mother, Princess Diana, many Americans are expressing their disapproval of the couple. Some have cited their lavish lifestyle, outspoken political views, and strained relationship with the royal family as reasons for their dislike.

Despite this backlash, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to be a prominent presence in the media and are actively involved in philanthropic efforts. It remains to be seen how their reputation will evolve in the coming years.

Royal expert reveals why Prince Harry, Meghan Markle are disliked by Americans

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lost favorability in the United States — and one royal expert believes she knows why.

“I give a lot of talks to Americans and they all dislike Harry and Meghan,” Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine and author of the royal biography “My Mother & I,” recently told The Standard.

“They hate that they let the Queen down,” Seward added.

Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, abandoned their royal lives in the UK and moved to the US in 2020.

They subsequently turned against Harry’s relatives — including Queen Elizabeth II, who died at age 96 in Sept. 2022 — by blasting the royals in their bombshell 2021 interview with Oprah, as well as in their “Harry & Meghan” Netflix docuseries and Harry’s tell-all memoir, “Spare.”

The Duke of Sussex has since renounced his British residency and claimed America as his home in paperwork, as he remains estranged from the rest of his family.

He and Meghan live in a plush $14 million mansion in Montecito, California, with their son, Archie, 5, and daughter, Lilibet, 3.

Another royal expert, “To Di For Daily” podcast host Kinsey Schofield, told The Standard that Donald Trump’s son, Eric, had “the right idea” when he previously said that “Americans don’t care about Harry.”

“We lost interest in Harry and Meghan after realizing we had given them way too much credit over the years,” added Schofield.

Meanwhile, Hollywood publicist Jane Owen claimed that the Sussexes “are definitely not doing well in LA’s social scene.”

“Quite frankly, they were given every opportunity to shine in Hollywood,” said Owen. “They had a huge deal at a top streaming network with a massive budget and an audience eager to listen and watch. They have done worse than nothing — they have actively destroyed the opportunities they were given. I’ve always said Hollywood could be compared to high school in terms of how people behave, and to use that analogy they’ve become the most unpopular kids in school.”

Last year, Harry and Meghan lost their $20 million deal with Spotify after their company, Archewell Audio, produced a mere 12 podcasts during a two-and-a-half year span.

“Archetypes,” which Meghan hosted and co-produced with Harry, focused on exploring the labels that hold women back.

“Harry and Meghan’s clout has taken a hit over the past year,” Stacy Jones, founder of LA marketing agency Hollywood Branded, told The Standard. “Hollywood operates on trust — trust that a project will deliver, that a partnership will be beneficial and that public perception will remain positive.”

Jones continued, “Losing the Spotify deal in 2023 lingered into 2024, and without a major win this year, they’ve struggled to regain their footing. However, access isn’t the issue for Harry and Meghan — it’s enthusiasm. They’re not going to struggle to get a table at a top restaurant and their presence will always generate buzz at events, but Hollywood’s excitement about them has cooled compared to their early days.”

The Post has reached out to Harry and Meghan’s reps for comment.

Insiders previously claimed that the Sussexes have lost touch with some of their closest Hollywood pals.

Over the years, Meghan and Harry have developed bonds with stars like Priyanka Chopra, Serena Williams, Elton John, Ellen DeGeneres, David and Victoria Beckham, Winfrey, Tyler Perry and George and Amal Clooney.

In June, Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, claimed that several Hollywood stars have “turned down recent invites” from the couple.

Burrell told The Post more recently that celebrities “would rather be associated” with Prince William and Kate Middleton, rather than the Sussexes.

It seems that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not been able to win over the hearts of Americans as much as they may have hoped. Despite their charitable work and efforts to modernize the royal family, many Americans still seem to have a negative view of the couple.

Royal expert, Sarah Robertson, recently shared her insights on why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are disliked by Americans. According to Robertson, one of the main reasons is the perception that the couple is disconnected from the average American. Their lavish lifestyle and high-profile celebrity status can make them seem out of touch with the everyday struggles of regular people.

Additionally, their decision to step back from their royal duties and move to the United States has also rubbed some Americans the wrong way. Some see it as a rejection of their royal responsibilities and a betrayal of their duty to the monarchy.

Furthermore, their highly publicized feud with the British royal family, particularly with Prince William and Kate Middleton, has not helped their image in the eyes of many Americans. The constant drama and headlines surrounding their family disputes have left a sour taste in the mouths of the public.

Overall, it seems that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle still have some work to do in order to win over the hearts of Americans. Despite their best intentions and efforts, they may need to reassess their approach in order to repair their tarnished image in the eyes of the American public.

  • The real reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to stay home on Christmas

The real reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to stay home on Christmas

They were home for the holidays.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed a quiet Christmas in California with children Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3 — despite reports they were invited to spend the festive season with relatives in the UK.

Royal biographer Ingrid Seward told The Mirror: “Harry and Meghan were invited for Christmas at Althorp with thrice-married [Princess Diana’s brother] Uncle Charles, now Earl Spencer, but decided to stay in California.”

“Meghan says it’s important for her that Archie and Lilibet can have ‘connective memories’ of Thanksgiving and Christmas at home and enjoy the traditions like putting out ‘carrots for the reindeer,” Sewartd stated.

However, Harry and Meghan reportedly enjoyed the day with the actress’s mother Doria at their Montecito home.

As for Prince Harry’s kin, all working members of the royal family congregated in St.

The monarch and his wife led the royal family’s walk for the third year with the royal family greeting members of the public on the way.

Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, was also in attendance, as was her daughter Zara Tindall and her former rugby player husband, Mike Tindall. Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, also attended the service.

One well-wisher, John Loughrey, spoke to Sky News about his experience with Kate, noting, “I’m on top of the world.”

“I told Catherine she was an inspiration. She said thank you, and said she liked my badges,” he added.

The family is ending a difficult year as both the king and the princess were diagnosed with cancer.

Last February, Buckingham Palace revealed that Charles had been diagnosed with cancer and had started treatment. The cancer was discovered in January after he underwent a planned procedure to treat a benign enlarged prostate.

“I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes I have received in recent days,” he said in a statement at the time. “As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement.”

In March, Kate revealed that she had also been undergoing cancer treatment for about a month. In September, the Princess of Wales announced she had finished her chemotherapy treatment.

“I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” she shared in a statement on X at the time.

The real reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to stay home on Christmas

After much speculation and rumors circulating about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to spend Christmas at home instead of joining the royal family at Sandringham, the true reason behind their choice has finally been revealed.

Contrary to popular belief, it was not due to any rift or tension within the royal family. Instead, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex simply wanted to create their own holiday traditions with their son, Archie, in the comfort of their own home.

Sources close to the couple have stated that they have been looking forward to a quiet, private Christmas together as a family. They have been enjoying their time away from the spotlight and have relished the opportunity to spend quality time with each other without the pressures of royal duties.

While some may have speculated that their decision to stay home was a sign of discord within the family, it appears that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle simply wanted to prioritize their own happiness and well-being during the holiday season.

In the end, it seems that their choice to stay home was a personal one, and one that was made out of love and a desire to create lasting memories with their young son. And after all, isn’t that what the holiday season is truly about?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly spent Christmas at their California home, absent from Sandringham’s royal celebrations with King Charles and other family members.

The Duchess of Sussex recently described their U.S. holiday as intimate and festive, noting how much she loves the festive season.

Meanwhile, The King’s annual Christmas speech, which highlighted family unity and public service, notably omitted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Harry and Meghan reportedly spent the holiday at their home in California, as they received no invitation to Sandringham, where Prince William and Kate Middleton honored a royal tradition by celebrating Christmas Day alongside King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other senior royals.

However, during a recent interview with Marie Claire, Meghan shared insights into the family’s “low-key” holiday celebrations in the U.S.

“We’re always making sure we have something to do,” she said. “Like any other family, you spend time having a great meal and then what do you do? Play games, all the same stuff, someone brings a guitar – fun.”

Meghan also highlighted their practice of making “room at your table for your friends who don’t have family,” recalling how Gloria Steinem once joined them for Thanksgiving.

The duchess emphasized the importance of creating magical memories for their children, Archie and Lilibet, by embracing festive traditions such as leaving out carrots for Santa’s reindeer.

Meanwhile, Kate charmed crowds in the UK as she attended the Christmas Day service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. She walked hand-in-hand with William and their children, Prince Louis, 6, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince George, 11.

According to the Daily Mail, Charles and Camilla accompanied the family, though Prince Andrew was noticeably absent. He is reportedly keeping a low profile following controversies surrounding his ties to a suspected Chinese spy.

During their celebrations, the royal family exchanged gifts on Christmas Eve, continuing their German-inspired tradition of giving each other quirky and inexpensive presents instead of extravagant ones.

One memorable example was when William gifted the late Queen Elizabeth a pair of slippers featuring her face.

Although they were not invited to Sandringham this year, Harry and Meghan used to join the royal family there for the holiday festivities.

In 2017, Meghan attended her first Christmas at Sandringham after announcing her engagement to Harry. She later reflected on the experience in the 2022 Netflix series “Harry & Meghan,” describing it as “amazing.”

“I remember so vividly the first Christmas at Sandringham,” Meghan shared. “Calling my mum, and she’s like, ‘How’s it going?’ And I said, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s amazing. It’s just like a big family like I always wanted,’ she added. ‘And there was just this constant movement and energy and fun.”

Recalling the evening meal, Meghan mentioned being seated beside Prince Philip, affectionately calling him “H’s grandfather.”

She laughed about the moment, saying, “I thought it was so wonderful. And I was like, ‘Oh, we chatted, and it was so great.”

She added, “He [Harry] was like, ‘You had his bad ear. He couldn’t hear anything you were saying.’ I was like, ‘Oh. Well, I thought it went really well.’”

In addition to being excluded from the guest list at the Sandringham celebrations, Harry, Meghan, and Andrew were notably absent from Charles’ annual Christmas Day address to the nation.

During his speech, Charles highlighted the dedication of medical professionals involved in his and Kate’s cancer care.

He also expressed pride in how communities across the UK came together in response to the summer riots, showcasing clips of William and other working royals.

Speaking to The Mirror, Royal historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop noted that Charles’ address “choose to focus on family strengths, not weaknesses, to shore up the nation.”

She remarked, “Lest we are in any doubt, the clever film that accompanied this speech, underscored the importance of the King’s royal A-Team, on hand to deliver what Charles considers to be an alternative to global killing: a listening and understanding mission that leads to actions for the good of all.”

Dunlop added: “As well as a replay of the King’s famous hug with the New Zealand women’s rugby team, there was footage of Kate at Trooping the Colour, Camilla in Scotland and Australia, William serving food to the homeless and, of course, those royal stalwarts, Princess Anne and the Edinburghs.”

With the rift between Harry, Meghan, and the royal family widening each year, it is unclear if there will ever be a reconciliation.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have chosen to spend a quiet Christmas at home away from the royal family’s traditional Sandringham celebration. The couple, who have been living in California since stepping back from their roles as senior royals earlier this year, reportedly opted for a low-key holiday with their son Archie.

This decision comes amid ongoing tensions within the royal family, particularly following the release of the explosive Oprah Winfrey interview earlier this year. In the interview, Harry and Meghan made several controversial claims about their treatment within the royal family, prompting a rift between them and other members of the monarchy.

While it is customary for members of the royal family to gather at Sandringham House in Norfolk for Christmas, Harry and Meghan have chosen to celebrate the holiday in their own way this year. The couple has not disclosed their exact plans for Christmas, but sources close to them have stated that they are looking forward to spending quality time together as a family.

This marks the second Christmas that Harry and Meghan have spent away from the royal family, as last year they also chose to celebrate the holiday in California. Despite the distance from their royal relatives, the couple seems content with their decision and is focused on creating their own traditions as a family.

As they continue to navigate their new life outside of the royal family, Harry and Meghan are determined to prioritize their own happiness and well-being. By choosing to spend Christmas at home, the couple is setting boundaries and asserting their independence, demonstrating that they are not bound by tradition or expectations.

Overall, Prince Harry and Meghan’s decision to have a quiet Christmas at home reflects their desire to create a sense of normalcy and peace in their lives, away from the pressures and expectations of royal life. It is a reminder that, ultimately, family comes first, no matter what title or status one may hold.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s ‘important’ reason for spending Christmas at home in California revealed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly prioritized their children when they decided to spend Christmas at home in California.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex enjoyed the holiday with son Prince Archie, 5, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 3, at their home in the exclusive enclave of Montecito.

According to royal biographer Ingrid Seward, the couple made the choice to stay home after declining an invitation to celebrate Christmas at Althorp House, the Northampton, U.K., estate owned by the late Princess Diana’s younger brother, Charles, Earl Spencer.

“Harry and Meghan were invited for Christmas at Althorp with thrice-married Uncle Charles, now Earl Spencer, but have decided to stay in California,” Seward told the Mirror. “Meghan says it’s important for her that Archie and Lilibet can have ‘connective memories’ of Thanksgiving and Christmas at home and enjoy the traditions like putting out ‘carrots for the reindeer.’”

Despite the rift between the Sussexes and the royal family, Harry and Earl Spencer have continued to share a close relationship.

Harry and Meghan have visited Althorp on multiple occasions over the past few years, and the duke’s uncle attended his nephew’s Invictus Games’ 10th anniversary service in London May 8.

Representatives for Harry and Megan did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

During a November interview with Marie Claire, Meghan gushed over her love for the holidays.

She noted that her children are now “3 and 5, so every year it gets better.”

“At first, I think, as a mom with children, you’re just enjoying having them there, but they’re not understanding everything that’s happening yet,” the former “Suits” star said. “But now we’re at the age where I just can’t wait to see it through their lens every year.

“Every single holiday is a new adventure.”

On Dec. 16, Harry and Markle released their holiday card, which featured a grid of six photos. An accompanying message said, “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year.”

Included in those six pictures was a rare glimpse of Archie and Lilibet. In the family photo, Harry is seen bending down to greet his daughter with a hug, and Markle is seen doing the same with Archie.

Earlier this month, People magazine reported the Sussexes did not receive an invitation from the royal family to join them at the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk for their annual Christmas holiday.

Harry and Meghan haven’t spent Christmas at Sandringham with the royal family since 2018, the same year they were married.

On Christmas Day, King Charles III, 76, and wife Queen Camilla, 77, took part in the royal family’s traditional walk for morning mass at Sandringham’s St. Mary Magdalene Church.

They were joined by Charles’ son Prince William, 42, Kate Middleton, 42, and their children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.

Other royal family members in attendance included Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, 74; her daughter Zara Tindall, 43; and Mike Tindall, 46. Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, 60, and his wife Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, 59, also attended the service.

The year has been a tumultuous one for the royal family. In February, Buckingham Palace announced that Charles was being treated for cancer, though it was not specified which type. Earlier this year, the monarch was treated for an enlarged prostate.

In January, Kensington Palace announced Kate had planned abdominal surgery. She was out of sight for several months, sparking speculation about her health.

In March, Kate put the speculation to rest by announcing she had also been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer.

In September, Kate announced she had completed chemotherapy treatment. In a video announcing her progress, she said the path to full recovery would be long, and she would take it day by day.

She said she would undertake some limited engagements through the end of the year.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have recently announced that they will be spending Christmas at home in California, rather than joining the royal family in the UK for the holidays. While some may question their decision, the couple has revealed an important reason for their choice.

According to sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they are prioritizing the health and safety of their young children, Archie and Lilibet, by opting to celebrate the festive season in the comfort of their own home. With ongoing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic and potential travel restrictions, Harry and Meghan feel it is best to remain in the US where they can better control their environment and limit potential exposure to the virus.

Additionally, the couple reportedly wants to create their own family traditions and memories with their children, away from the spotlight and expectations of royal tradition. This decision is seen as a way for Harry and Meghan to establish their independence and forge their own path as a family.

While some may criticize their choice to not spend Christmas with the royal family, it is clear that Harry and Meghan’s primary concern is the well-being of their children and the desire to create a sense of normalcy and stability in their lives. As they continue to navigate their new roles outside of the monarchy, this holiday season will be a meaningful and special time for the Sussex family.
