  • Love Island fans beg for movie night as they predict epic meltdown after Curtis brushed off romance with Ekin-Su to Danielle and claim he ‘hasn’t changed’ since brutally dumping Amy in series 5

Love Island viewers have predicted movie night could end in an epic meltdown after Curtis Pritchard spent a night in the hideaway with bombshell Danielle Sellers.

Curtis, 28, has been romancing Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 30, throughout the second series of Love Island: All Stars, with them both claiming they are ‘closed off’ to each other.

However, fans have insisted Curtis did not given the impression of a taken man when he was whisked off on a date with Danielle, who picked him upon her villa arrival.

While Curtis said he was ‘closed off’ to Ekin-Su, he followed it up by insisting he ‘barely knew’ her – as viewers begged for the moment to be shown on movie night.

Movie night reveals private moments between Islanders to the rest of the cast and typically results in tension and rows when hidden secrets are revealed.

Viewers have forecast that Ekin-Su will create a scene of colossal proportions, which they likened to a memorable moment between Curtis and his ex Amy Hart during season five of the show.

Curtis, 28, has been romancing Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 30, throughout the second series of Love Island: All Stars , with them both claiming they are ‘closed off’ to each other

They claimed that Curtis ‘hasn’t changed’ as he seemingly did a 180 on Ekin-Su, in the same way that he previously did to Amy during their series.

After both returning from the Casa Amor twist, Curtis and Amy had a discussion where he revealed his head had been turned by model Jourdan Riane.

Curtis famously left Amy reeling when she discovered that ahead of recoupling with her, he he’d shown an interest in pursuing Jourdan who he met in Casa Amor, with a devastated Amy informing him that she was gearing up to confess her love to him.

Following the breakdown of their romance, Amy decided to leave the villa and quit the show to escape watching Curtis and Maura Higgins‘ relationship blossom.

    Sharing their thoughts on Curtis’ antics on Wednesday’s episode, they said: ‘All it took was one woman for Curtis’ head to turn. He hasn’t changed! What’; ‘I don’t really know the girl – Movie Night is going to finisshhhhh Curtis’;

    ‘Roll the rapes, bring on movie night Ekin needs to see what Curtis really said #LoveIsland’; ‘F*** Curtis’; ‘Oh look, it’s Curtis being Curtis *pretends to be shocked*’; ‘Curtis gets the slightest attention from the opposite gender and runs with it #LoveIsland’;

    ‘Ekin is going down the Amy route I fear’; ‘This is the Curtis I recognise’; ‘The way Curtis has gaslight Ekin, this is exactly what he did to Amy!!’; ‘Sorry did I just hear Curtis say “I don’t even know the girl” to Danielle about Ekin??’; ‘Curti is actually the villian in this scenario’;

‘I was rooting for this Curtis! He want Ekin to spiral so he can move on to the new girl without being the guy bad’; ‘Curtis has been a f*** boy idk why y’all are surprised’.

On Wednesday, Ekin-Su pulled on viewer’s heartstrings as she broke down in Ronnie Vint’s arms after Curtis enjoyed his night in the hideaway.

In the tearful moment, Ekin-Su got emotional as she saw Curtiscrack on with newcomer Danielle.

New bombshell Danielle picked Curtis to join her in the hideaway for a flirty sleepover, while fellow newbie Sammy Root picked Elma Pazar.

While Curtis and Ekin-Su have told each other they are ‘closed off’ and not looking to get to know anyone else who comes in, it appears Danielle has caught his eye.

At the end of the episode, Curtis told Danielle he ‘regrets’ saying he was closed off with Ekin-Su and is keen to pursue Danielle.

As Ekin-Su spotted their flirty chat, she broke down in tears and was comforted by Ronnie.

Meanwhile, fans blasted Ekin-Su‘s ‘overreaction’ to Curtis staying in the hideaway with Danielle.

Fans were left in hysterics as they claimed Ekin-Su was ‘making a deal out of nothing to get air time’.

Series 10 contestant Sammy also stars on TOWIE and is looking forward to ruffling feathers with his villa entrance.

Sammy bagged the cash prize after winning the series alongside Jess Harding but called off their romance soon after they returned home.

Speaking about his fresh chance at love, Sammy explained: ‘It did work out for me the first time, but things changed when I left the Villa. Hopefully this time round, I’ll leave with a relationship that goes the distance.

‘Last time I was very much a boy and was immature at times in terms of not thinking about my actions beforehand.’

He continued: ‘Now looking back, I feel like I’ve changed a lot and I’d like to think I’ve grown from a boy to a gentleman.’

Danielle, who appeared in series three, is looking to find the man of her dreams as she returns.

After appearing on the show as a bombshell in Casa Amor last time, Danielle is hoping she finds more luck this time round.

She said: ‘I was a lot younger going in the first time, I was 21! I entered during Casa Amor and lots of the boys were in strong couples! 8 years on, I’m older and know what I want, so I’m going to just go for it!’

  • Why Did Tiger Woods’s TGL Team Opt to Play Kevin Kisner for Match 4 Mere Days After His Meltdown at SoFi Center?

Tiger Woods was in action at the TGL, leading his team, Jupiter Links GC, against Los Angeles GC in an exciting matchup. While the match had plenty of thrilling moments, one incident overshadowed everything: Kevin Kisner’s hilarious blunder on the par-3 14th hole. Attempting a shot from the bunker, Kisner’s ball disastrously struck the flagstick, ricocheting off comically. The crowd burst into laughter, and even Tiger, known for his stoic demeanor, couldn’t contain his amusement.

Woods later called it one of the

“funniest” moments he’d ever seen, admitting, “It was just one of those weird nights.” Despite the comedy, Woods’s team suffered a heavy 12-1 defeat. Golf fans and big names alike have since taken to social media, sharing their laughter and disbelief over Kisner’s unforgettable mishap. And not to forget his terrible round at the American Express this weekend.

Seeing his current performance, one might not expect him to be a part of the fourth match. But guess what? Kevin Kisner was the one chosen for the match against the Boston Common Golf team, and it was Max Homa who was benched. But why is it so? Well, to begin with, Max Homa had to withdraw from the American Express with three holes left to conclude the second round. He cited an injury, so he probably will not be able to appear for the next game. Additionally, leaving the performance factor aside, Kisner was actually a good addition when it comes to the entertainment aspect of the game.

Keeping all these things in mind, Tiger

Woods probably chose Kisner, and Tom Kim due to the match with Rory McIlroy’s team. While Kevin Kisner does bring in entertainment, he acts wittily enough on the course as well.

Kevin Kisner takes a dig at Max Homa

Max Homa’s last victory came at the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open, where he finished with a solid 13-under-par 275. Now, back at the same course, for the 2025 edition, he was hoping to add another win to his growing list of accomplishments. Things started off well enough with a solid tee shot on the par-4 first on the South Course, but then his luck seemed to have turned off. Homa’s approach shot landed in the left greenside bunker, and from there, it was a domino effect of misfortune. His next shot found the right greenside bunker, and after a couple more attempts, he was still trapped.

His fourth shot stayed in the sand, and after finally reaching the green, he was forced to two-putt from inside 8 feet for a painful triple-bogey 7. He managed to regroup for a few holes, making pars, but then the bunker curse hit again on the fourth. He ended his front nine with a 5-over. Kevin Kisner could not help but laugh at him. He stated that Max Homa probably learned from his TGL debut for the match, especially regarding his bunker shots, and was using them for the first hole at the Farmers Insurance Open. And well, it was a fun one indeed! Are you excited to see Kevin Kisner for the fourth match? Let us know in the comments section below!

Tiger Woods’s TGL Team made a bold decision to play Kevin Kisner for Match 4 just days after his meltdown at the SoFi Center. Many fans and analysts were left questioning why the team would choose to put Kisner back in the spotlight so soon after his struggles.

One possible explanation for this decision is that the TGL Team believes in Kisner’s abilities and resilience as a golfer. Despite his recent performance, Kisner has proven himself to be a strong competitor in the past and may have the mental fortitude to bounce back from setbacks.

Additionally, the TGL Team may have strategic reasons for choosing Kisner for Match 4. Perhaps they believe that Kisner’s playing style or skills are better suited for the course or conditions they will be facing in the upcoming match.

Ultimately, only time will tell if the TGL Team’s decision to play Kisner for Match 4 will pay off. Fans will be eagerly watching to see how Kisner performs and if he can redeem himself after his recent struggles at the SoFi Center.

  • DIRECTV Stream Suffers Technical Meltdown With FanDuel Sports Network

    By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Follow me on X.
Former editor of Satellite DIRECT magazine. Reported on DIRECTV for more than 30 years.

DIRECTV Stream last night experienced a technical snafu with the FanDuel Sports Network’s regional sports channels, causing some subscribers to be unable to watch their favorite NHL and NBA teams.

The games affected included the Dallas Mavericks-Oklahoma City Thunder NBA contest, and the NHL games between the St. Louis Blues and Vegas Golden Knights and Columbus Blue Jackets and Carolina Hurricanes, and perhaps others.

Fans began complaining on social media sites around 7:30 p.m. ET that the FanDuel RSNs on DIRECTV Stream were showing a volleyball or high school football game instead of the scheduled NBA and NHL contests. (The issue apparently did not affect DIRECTV’s satellite subscribers.)

“Why do you have volleyball on instead of the game?” asked @postingthenews1 on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“@Canes Is anyone else getting volleyball on FanDuel SN on Directv stream instead of the Canes game?” added @caniac827.

“I can confirm it is a DirecTv problem. I launched the FanDuel Sports mobile application and the game is playing just fine. Just download the FanDuel sports app and then link your TV provider if it’s DIRECTV and then watch it through the app and it’ll work just fine,” said another fan on X.

DIRECTV’s X customer help team soon acknowledged the issue in a response to angry customers.

“We’re sorry there’s an issue with FanDuel Sports Network. We’re aware and working on it. DIRECTV appreciates your patience,” the TV provider wrote.

FanDuel’s X customer help team chimed in with a similar statement:

“We are sorry about the issues viewing tonight’s Thunders game. We are currently in communication with our partner, DTV, regarding this issue. In the meantime you can reach out to DTV for help or you can stream on the FanDuel Sports Network app using your DTV credentials,” the RSN company said.

However, the problem persisted, triggering an escalating anger among subscribers as the night progressed.

“That’s great! As a DIRECTV customer I feel like a winner too! Nothing like to paying extra for fanduel and getting to watch replay of Texas high school football,” wrote @soonerd483.

Well @DIRECTV streaming screwed is over go to watch the game and we no longer have Fan Duel Network. Any suggestions for streaming cable services that have Fan Duel Network?” wrote @alexwarren321.

DIRECTV at 9:49 p.m. ET tweeted that it was still working on the issue. The TV provider has not posted an update since. The TV Answer Man has asked DIRECTV for a comment and will report back here if we receive one.

“We’re aware of this known issue and are working on a fix,” the company said. “In the meantime, you can stream on the FanDuel Sports Network app using your DIRECTV credentials.

However, FanDuel’s X team said shortly after 10 p.m. ET that the problem had been resolved:

“Hey fans, the DTV issue has now been fixed, we genuinely apologize for the inconvenience. If you are still having issues, please get in contact with our support team @ help.fanduelsportsnetwork.com.”

  • Day 7 Talking Points analysis, Alex de Minaur rivalry with Alex Michelsen, French Open meltdown, win vs Francisco Cerundolo, fourth round match, latest news

Alex de Minaur presents as an amiable Australian but there is an element of steel to the “Demon” born from the competitive fire that rages within him.

Watch every ball of The 2025 Women’s Ashes Series LIVE with no ad-breaks during play on Kayo | New to Kayo? Get your first month for just $1. Limited time offer.

When the world No.8 arrived at Roland Garros for his opening round match eight months ago, the amiable Australian had a message that he wanted to send to an emerging pro.

His rival was Alex Michelsen, the powerful and extremely talented American he will play at Melbourne Park on Monday for a spot in the Australian Open quarterfinals.

And revenge was on his mind, with good reason. The world No.8 is a proud man but a few months earlier he lowered his colours in ignominious fashion in a rare poor showing.

His then teenaged-rival was understandably delighted after blitzing the Aussie 6-4 6-1 in Acapulco in Mexico.

    ‘He’s overrated!’ Host taunts Djokovic | 00:17

“(The goal was to) go out there and play as best you can, see what happens,” Michelsen said on Saturday.

“I went out there and didn’t miss a ball for an hour and a half, or however long that match went. I couldn’t miss. I was playing way above my level at the time.

“My level was here, and I was playing way up there. It’s always nice when that happens. It’s pretty rare. That’s what happened last time. (I) just couldn’t miss a ball, I feel like.”

But there was a caveat that needed to be applied to the result.

A couple of days earlier de Minaur had fallen to reigning Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner in the final in Rotterdam after a stellar week where he defeated Seb Korda, David Goffin, Andrey Rublev and Grigor Dimitrov.

The transition from Europe to Mexico, and from the middle of winter to the warmer climate, left the Sydneysider vulnerable and he was beaten up on the court by Michelsen.

If revenge is a dish best served cold, the 25-year-old had a few months to stew on that defeat and was determined to right what he considered a wrong when he played Michelsen.

“It was quite a quick turnaround, so I probably wasn’t quite ready to play that match, but I was definitely ready today,” he told a couple of Aussie journalists in Paris afterwards.

De Minaur’s response was savage. In less than two hours, he whipped the American for the loss of three games in one of the most lop-sided victories of his career. This was a thrashing.

And the American effectively lost his mind on the court in an extremely lopsided match.

His childish tantrum in the final set even drew derision from Nick Kyrgios, who is no stranger to losing his temper on the court.

A warning. The lesson de Minaur delivered in Paris was on clay on a particularly chilly day. Michelsen is a far better player than that and far more comfortable on hard courts.

Alex de Minaur is into the fourth round, where he’ll meet Alex Michelsen again after the American’s French meltdown.Source: FOX SPORTS

Coached by former US Open semifinalist Robby Ginepri, the Next Gen Finals qualifier is a powerful all-court player who has knocked out three-time major finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas and dual-grand slam semi-finalist Karen Khachanov already in Melbourne.

“He’s been playing really well,” de Minaur said.

“He’s a dangerous opponent with a lot of confidence now. He’s taken some big scalps this week, so (I have to be) ready for a battle.

“He’s going to go out there with no fear. I’m going to do my best to make it difficult for him.”

HOW DEMON WON OVER THE DJOKER

Similarly to Michelsen, de Minaur knows what it is like to be on the receiving end of a hammering from a rival seeking redress against someone who irked them.

It is now three years since the 25-year-old, who is the first Australian since Phil Dent in the 1980s to reach the Rd of 16 in their home major for four straight years, was thrashed by Novak Djokovic in a fourth round mismatch on Rod Laver Arena.

Djokovic had been irritated by the Aussies comments related to vaccine mandates in tennis and delivered a lesson, but the 10-time Australian Open is now an admirer.

“(He has made) terrific improvement. I think his serve (has) become a big weapon. Maybe it wasn’t before,” Djokovic said.

“He was always fast, so he kept that … speed on the court. And I think he’s coming into (the net and) he’s approaching much more than he used to do.

“We all know how good he’s defending, but his offence has improved a lot. His court positioning has improved. It’s not a surprise that he ended up in the top 10 last season in his best season yet.

“I think we’re going to see … great things from Alex in this tournament. I have watched him play a few matches and the level is great. He’s playing really well.”

Those comments were made prior to de Minaur’s clash with Francisco Cerundolo.

Even the Aussie would have queried the accuracy of the assessment as he struggled for anywhere near his best against the 31st seed, who ran him ragged for nearly two hours.

The world No.8, who will bid to make the quarterfinals at the Australian Open for the first time when he plays Michelsen, was unusually errant and double-faulted on big points.

But he said afterwards that there is a beauty in managing to pull through when below par, with the Aussie turning his fortunes around after making a superb reflex volley at 5-6 in the second set.

Swiatek through after early altercation | 01:37

In an interesting concession, de Minaur said it was the first time he had felt the pressure associated with delivering at home, which is a sign he has significant expectations.

“I feel like I learned a lot. I mean, looking back at this, I reckon this is probably the first match that I’ve played here in Oz where I’ve felt, like today, that I didn’t feel comfortable,” he said.

“I felt all of a sudden (there was) a little bit of pressure playing (and) I didn’t know what to do. (But) I just told myself … to go out there and compete.

“A part of me knew that at some point there was always going to be always a match where pressure was going to be there and the nerves were going to be there, (that the) kind of the expectation was going to be there. I knew it was going to be a part of it. I just told myself to go out there, compete.

“Geez, I’d rather win ugly any day over losing pretty, right? Ultimately I lived to fight another day. My next one I’ll make sure I bring a better level.”

And as for the compliment from the most successful man in tennis history?

“Ultimately when you hear any compliments coming from someone like Novak, who’s virtually perfect in every aspect of his game, it’s obviously very nice to hear,” he said.

“I always will appreciate it because you put in the work with your team behind closed scenes. But it’s always good that other players in the locker room are noticing, right? It means you’re doing something right. That’s a great feeling.”

BIG-NAME AUSSIE JUNIORS MAKE STRONG START

Standing on a balcony overlooking Melbourne Park as the sun set on Saturday, Emerson Jones was all smiles after securing an opening round win in the girls’ singles.

At the start of the week Jones received a lesson on the gulf between junior stardom and the very best players in the world when she was beaten 6-1 6-1 by 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina in her Australian Open debut.

The outing followed a promising week in the Adelaide International where the Gold Coast teenager clinched a first round win and pushed world No.9 Daria Kasatkina.

A finalist in the girls’ singles at Melbourne Park last week, the world’s top-ranked junior started her campaign in promising fashion with a 6-3 6-3 triumph over Anastasia Lizunova.

Jones said she was initially upset by the manner of her defeat against Rybakina, a former Australian Open finalist who progressed to the last 16 with a 6-3 6-4 win over Dayana Yastremska on Saturday after receiving medical treatment in the second set.

Monfils: ‘Warmed the court for her’ | 00:57

But on reflecting over the next couple of days, she was able to put the result into context.

“I was pretty bummed about my match against Elena,” she said.

“It was just annoying because I wasn’t really in the match, but then looking at all the girls she’s played, I didn’t really do a bad job. So I feel a bit better about that.

“Obviously it gives me a lot of confidence to go into the juniors knowing that she’s the top level, and I know what it’s like now.”

Jones was not the only high-profile junior in action on Saturday, with a near-capacity crowd enjoying a warm Melbourne evening to watch Cruz Hewitt in action on Court 3.

Twenty years after his dad Lleyton Hewitt was beaten in the Australian Open final by Marat Safin, his son was too strong for South Korean Moo Been Kim in the first round, 6-3 6-3.

    LOVE WINS

It was also 20 years ago when a junior prodigy expected to make massive strides in men’s tennis made his debut at Melbourne Park with a four set win over Robby Ginepri, who is now coaching Michelsen, Alex de Minaur’s next opponent at Melbourne Park.

Gael Monfils arrived on the back of a stellar year at junior level in grand slams, with the Frenchman winning the Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon before Andy Murray snared the US Open boys’ singles.

It was the best year in junior singles since Swedish great Stefan Edberg completed the boys’ grand slam in 1983.

The buzz around Monfils was massive and the athleticism he displayed on his first visit to Melbourne Park demonstrated he was a supreme talent.

It seemed the future of tennis had arrived. And he remains a superb athlete, quipping on Saturday that he thinks “I’m the best athlete at 38 years old on the tour, yes. That for sure.”

But similarly to several other elite talents, Monfils had the misfortune of arriving in the era of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, who has won all 20 outings against him.

But he has enjoyed a stellar career and, aside from semi-finals appearances at Roland Garros in 2008 and the US Open in 2016, he has peaked at No.6 and won 13 titles.

The most recent of those successes came last week in Auckland and at the age of 38, Monfils still has what it takes to rattle the best and pulled off a major upset on Saturday.

    38 y/o Monfils dances into 4th round! | 01:02

Pitted against last year’s US Open finalist Taylor Fritz, the mercurial Monfils produced a masterclass, mixing pace and rhythm, touch and power to win 3-6 7 -5 7-6 (1) 6-4.

In a stellar day for the Monfils family, he returned to Margaret Court Arena to watch his wife Elina Svitolina upset Wimbledon and Roland Garros finalist Jasmine Paolini 2-6 6-4 6-0.

Monfils, who celebrated his success with an on-court dance that has gone viral online, said he was delighted to be expressing “his joy” as one of the grand veterans of the tour.

But Monfils, who faces exciting American Ben Shelton next, also put into context what is important to him, with the prospect of pulling off a major miracle far from the top of his list of priorities.

“To be honest with you, (it) is not even a dream to win the tournament. My dream is to be old and with a lot of kids and healthy,” he said.

“My dream is to have an unbelievable family. Tennis is cool. Of course, you want to have a goal, dream, whatever. But my dream is out there (with my family).”

Jersey Mike’s employee blasts RHONJ’s Jennifer Aydin in expletive-filled rant after her viral meltdown

Jennifer Aydin‘s viral meltdown at a Jersey Mike’s Subs has sparked an equally fiery response from an alleged employee of the chain who claims to have witnessed the chaos firsthand.

The drama unfolded when the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 47, filmed herself venting in line at the sandwich shop, loudly declaring, ‘I’m a f*****g celebrity’ and hurling insults at an employee she described as an ’80-year-old.’

As Aydin’s outburst made waves online, a TikTok user, @amxndaa.x, who appeared to be wearing a Jersey Mike’s uniform, posted her own expletive-laden reaction.

In the video, she begins, ‘I really hope this stupid b***h has TikTok. I really hope I come up on your ‘For You’ page, b***h. I hope you recognize me.’

The employee went on to allege that Aydin caused delays by holding up the line, struggling to decide what to order, and even placing orders for people who weren’t in line.

‘Like, girl, that’s not how that works,’ she said pointedly.

According to @amxndaa.x, tensions escalated when employees told Aydin she needed to rejoin the line to order additional items.

That’s when the reality star allegedly ‘started tweaking,’ shouting about her ‘celebrity’ status, threatening lawsuits, and recording the staff.

‘She starts recording all of us, and she posts it,’ the employee said, adding a final piece of advice for Aydin: ‘Learn how to order.’

The TikTok user captioned her emotional video, ‘I’m so pissed because we literally can’t say s*** to they [sic] face.’

In the original video obtained by a Bravo fan account, Aydin, said she was ‘so mad’ at waiting in line for ‘what felt like forever’ and said a customer who had ordered after her has already received their food.

She said: ‘Everything was slow … we get it. It’s early in the morning, you’re in a bad mood, it’s New Year’s — you’re working. I’d be pissed, too.’

She claimed the employee ‘acted like she couldn’t hear them’ adding ‘the 80-year-old that was working there, the amount of time she took to cut that bread was almost as much as we were waiting on that line.’

As she tried to add to her order, she claimed she was told to ‘get back in line’ or ask another customer if it was ok to do so.

The man told Aydin her request to do so was ‘ridiculous’ leading Aydin to brand him a ‘freakin jerk’ and started filming him.

Aydin claimed the man said he would ‘sue her for her fake jewelry’ if she shared the video.

She said: ‘Fake diamonds, b***h? What you don’t know — you better ask somebody, Please.’

She told another customer: ‘I am a f***ing celebrity, you asshole!’ and tagged Jersey Mikes in the post.

Fans quickly rounded on Aydin with one writing: ‘DID YOU JUST MAKE FUN OF AN ELDERLY PERSON. Your disgusting

Others wrote: ‘such a brat’ and ‘so rich she’s at newark airport jersey mikes.’

Jersey Mike’s employee goes off on Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jennifer Aydin in an expletive-filled rant following her recent viral meltdown.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, the employee, who goes by the handle @subwayshater69, unleashed a tirade against Aydin, accusing her of being entitled, rude, and disrespectful during her recent visit to the fast-food chain.

“Can’t believe this b*tch Jennifer Aydin had the nerve to come into our store and act like she owns the place. She was yelling at my coworkers, demanding special treatment, and acting like a total diva,” the post read.

The employee continued, “I’ve never seen someone with such a big ego and such a small brain. She thinks she’s hot sh*t just because she’s on a reality show, but let me tell you, she’s nothing but a pathetic excuse for a human being.”

The post quickly went viral, with many social media users chiming in to share their own negative experiences with Aydin. Some even called for a boycott of her businesses and appearances on the reality show.

Aydin has yet to respond to the employee’s rant, but it’s clear that her behavior has not gone unnoticed by those who have encountered her in real life. Hopefully, this incident will serve as a wake-up call for Aydin to check her attitude and treat others with respect.

  • Pant’s dismissal leads to on-air meltdown in fiery sledging episode: ‘That’s why you’re not head coach, just assistant’

Pant’s dismissal leads to on-air meltdown in fiery sledging episode: ‘That’s why you’re not head coach, just assistant’

Day 3 in Melbourne was supposed to be an iconic Rishabh Pant as the wicketkeeper-batter resumed batting for India in the ongoing fourth Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test match, on Saturday. But it didn’t go according to plan, as he got caught in the deep after a miscued ramp, adding to India’s struggles. He was on 28, with the visitors at 191/5, in response to Australia’s first innings total of 474, and ended up playing a full delivery by Scott Boland in rather poor attempt, as he tried to scoop it, but got a top-edge and it flew to third man for a catch.

It was disappointing for Pant as he survived for the opening 40-45 minutes on Day 3, but an error saw him lose his wicket soon. Reacting to Pant’s dismissal, two Australia legends got into a disagreement, with one sledging the other in the process. Speaking on Fox Cricket, Mark Waugh criticised Pant, calling it ‘unacceptable’.

On-air meltdown between two Australian legends

“That’s unacceptable. I know he’s a very aggressive player and a player that is a bit out of the box and unpredictable but you’ve got to read the game situation and read the field. There were two men back for that exact shot so the percentages are not in your favour, unless you hit it for six you’re going to be caught somewhere in the deep,” he said.

“It’s just too hard of a shot and too risky of a shot to play with any degree of confidence and I’d be pulling him into line saying you didn’t need to do that. If you’re going to be attacking, run at the bowler and hit him over mid-off, I’d much rather that shot than that shot,” he added.

To Waugh’s dismay, Michael Hussey disagreed with him on the panel, and defended Pant. “It’s a hard one though isn’t it because that’s the way he likes to play, he likes to play these crazy shots and if you start putting too much doubt in his mind then it might just confuse him more. It is a poor shot, don’t get me wrong,” he said.

Meanwhile, England legend Michael Vaughan, who was also present in the conversation, joined the conversation and tried to support Hussey’s argument. He said, “Rishabh Pant is an exceptional talent, he plays in a way that not many play the game, wouldn’t you give him the licence to keep on playing in that fashion?”

Waugh wasn’t ready to back down in the debate, and continued with his criticism of Pant. He said, “No, because that’s not an excuse.”

“That’s an awful shot when his team needed him to make an innings. I get it he’s an aggressive player and I want to see him be aggressive but you’ve still got to have some boundaries with the shots you play. There’s got to be a level of restraint and percentages in your favour and that shot falling down.”

Once again rejoining the conversation, Hussey felt that if Pant had hit a six, then Waugh would have praised him in the commentary box. The former player remarked that he didn’t want Pant to change the way he plays. This didn’t end the debate as Waugh had the final say and asked Hussey, “So you’re saying that’s ok, as a coach?”

“Yep, I’d say go for it mate, do what you want to do,” Hussey replied.

“That’s why you’re not head coach, just assistant coach,” Waugh fired back, with Hussey, Vaughan laughing in response. Waugh’s dig was in reference to Hussey’s tenure as an assistant coach to the England T20 squad and in the IPL.

Day 3 saw a late rescue act from Nitish Kumar Reddy, who staged a comeback. Coming to bat with India at 191/6, he got his maiden Test ton and remained unbeaten at 105*, taking the visitors to 358/9 at Stumps, and they trail by 116 runs.

The recent dismissal of Rishabh Pant during a crucial match has sparked a fiery on-air meltdown between two cricket commentators, with one sledging the other by saying, “That’s why you’re not head coach, just assistant.”

The heated exchange occurred during a live broadcast of the match, when Pant was caught out and the commentator, who is a former cricketer turned analyst, expressed his disappointment at the young player’s performance. The other commentator, who is known for his aggressive and confrontational style, took offense to the criticism and fired back with the biting remark about not being head coach.

The tense moment was caught on camera and quickly went viral on social media, with fans and viewers weighing in on the heated exchange. Many criticized the commentator for his unprofessional behavior, while others applauded him for standing up for himself and not backing down.

The incident serves as a reminder of the intense pressure and emotions that can come with live sports commentary, as well as the high stakes and competitive nature of professional cricket. It also highlights the complex dynamics and relationships that can exist between commentators, players, and coaches in the world of sports.

As the dust settles on this dramatic moment, it remains to be seen how the two commentators will move forward and whether they will be able to put their differences aside for the sake of their professional relationship. One thing is for certain – this fiery sledging episode has certainly added an extra layer of drama to an already intense cricket match.

Meltdowns are a common occurrence in today’s society, whether it be a system failure at work, a personal breakdown, or even a global crisis. But why do these meltdowns happen, and what can we do to prevent them?

One reason for meltdowns is a lack of proper systems in place. When systems are not well-designed or maintained, they are more prone to failures. This can lead to breakdowns in communication, productivity, and overall performance. In order to prevent meltdowns, it is crucial to regularly assess and update our systems to ensure they are functioning effectively.

Another reason for meltdowns is stress and burnout. When individuals are overworked, overwhelmed, or facing personal challenges, they are more likely to experience a breakdown. It is important to prioritize self-care, set boundaries, and seek support when needed in order to prevent these meltdowns from occurring.

Additionally, meltdowns can also be caused by external factors such as economic downturns, natural disasters, or political unrest. While we may not always be able to control these external forces, we can prepare for them by having contingency plans in place and staying adaptable in the face of uncertainty.

Overall, by recognizing the potential causes of meltdowns and taking proactive steps to address them, we can minimize the risk of system failures and better navigate challenges when they arise. Let’s work together to build resilient systems and support each other in times of crisis.
