    According to the airport’s online flight tracker, as of 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, all arriving and departing flights at MYR have been canceled due to the expected winter storm.

    Some flights earlier in the day were able to take off from the airport.

    The airport’s flight tracker shows most flights are on time on Wednesday, but that could change as the winter storm moves through the Grand Strand.

    Travelers are encouraged to check their flight status before arriving at the airport.

    ‘Home Improvement’ star arrested on domestic violence charge in Myrtle Beach


    MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – A 1990s sitcom star landed behind bars in the Grand Strand.

    Myrtle Beach police arrested Zachery Ty Bryan, who played the oldest brother Brad Taylor in the hit TV show Home Improvement, on New Year’s Day, according to jail records.

    Records show Bryan faces a second-degree domestic violence charge.

    A judge set a $10,000 bond for Bryan. As 11 a.m. Friday, he is still booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

    WMBF News has requested the incident report and arrest warrants for Bryan’s case to get more details on what led up to the arrest. We are waiting to get those documents.

    This isn’t Bryan’s first run-in with the law.

    Bryan was arrested twice in 2024 for DUI. The first one happened in Feb. 2024 in La Quinta, California and the second took place in Oct. 2024 in Custer County, Oklahoma.

    Police arrested the the former child star in 2023 on assault, robbery and harassment charges connected to a domestic incident.

    Bryan was also arrested in 2020 on domestic violence charges after he strangled a woman who would later become his fiancée. A judge sentenced him to 36 months of “bench probation” and ordered him to take part in a program called Bridges2Safety.
