OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown’s kids now
They’re both parents themselves
This week, Netflix has released a documentary series re-examining the OJ Simpson case. The case is arguably one of the biggest celebrity criminal cases of all time. Following the documentary, a lot of people have been wondering where the kids OJ Simpson had with his wife are now.
It’s now been 30 years since what was called the “trial of the century”. In 1994, OJ Simpson’s former wife Nicole Brown, and her friend Ron Goldman, were murdered. The pair had been brutally stabbed to death outside her home.
At the time, NFL star and Hollywood actor OJ Simpson was the prime suspect. After the murders took place, OJ had taken a flight to Chicago. Upon his return, he was interviewed by police but not arrested.
Then, days later when more evidence had been looked at, OJ was involved in a police car chase, after being asked to surrender. Following the chase, OJ was caught and arrested. His murder trial then began. Prosecutors claimed OJ was a controlling former husband, whereas defence said he was wrongly accused.
A huge part of the trial, that lasted eight months, focused around a glove being used as evidence. One glove had been found near the scene, and another at OJ’s residence. OJ was asked to try on the glove during his trial, with a defence attorney saying: “If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.” It didn’t fit. OJ was acquitted.
OJ Simpson married Nicole Brown in 1985. They had two children, Sydney and Justin. So, here’s where their kids are now.
via Netflix
Where are OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown’s kids now?
OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown’s kids Sydney and Justin have kept out of the public eye since the murder trial. They remained with their father when he moved to Florida, and stood by him when he faced further legal troubles later in life.
After spending nine years in prison for kidnapping and armed robbery, it was announced in 2024 that OJ Simpson had died of cancer, aged 76. “On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer,” a statement from his children read. “He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.”
Sydney is 38 now. She has a degree in sociology from Boston University, and is believed to have settled in Florida. It has been reported she works in real estate, and has made a career from property. She is a parent herself now.
35-year-old Justin is also living in Florida, and works in real estate. In 2022, he confirmed he and his partner were expecting a child.
It has been reported that both Sydney and Justin have remained in contact with certain members of mother Nicole’s family. Nicole’s sister Dominique Brown is reported to still be in touch with the siblings.
“At this point, I think they would prefer to just stay low-key and raise their families,” Dominique Brown told People magazine last year. “I think that Nicole was that way. Nicole preferred to be behind the camera. I think that when she was younger and they would do videos, she would try to hide herself from the camera like, ‘Don’t take my picture.’ And she ended up having a completely different life before and after her death.”
American Manhunt: OJ Simpson is available on Netflix now. For all the latest Netflix news and drops, like The Holy Church of Netflix on Facebook.
OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown’s kids now: Where are they today? It’s been over two decades since the infamous murder trial of OJ Simpson, where he was accused of killing his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. Throughout the trial, their two children, Sydney and Justin Simpson, were thrust into the spotlight and faced a tumultuous upbringing following their mother’s tragic death.
Today, Sydney Simpson, now in her late 30s, has largely stayed out of the public eye. She has pursued a career in real estate and has maintained a low profile, choosing to focus on her own life away from the media attention that surrounded her family for so long.
Justin Simpson, now in his early 30s, has also kept a low profile since the trial. He has worked in the real estate industry like his sister and has stayed out of the public eye, choosing to live a more private life away from the scrutiny that his family has faced.
Despite the tragic circumstances surrounding their upbringing, Sydney and Justin Simpson have seemingly found their own paths and are working towards building their own futures. While their past may always be intertwined with the infamous trial of their father, they have chosen to focus on their own lives and move forward from the events that shaped their childhood.

Barry King/WireImage O.J. Simpson‘s kids — especially the children he shared with Nicole Brown Simpson — have remained relatively out of the public eye since his infamous murder trial.
O.J. became a father when he tied the knot with Marguerite Whitley in 1967. The pair expanded their family three times before their split in 1979. O.J. subsequently found love with Nicole, whom he was married to from 1985 to 1992 and shared two kids with.
Despite his successful NFL career, O.J. was most well-known for being accused of murdering Nicole and her friend Ronald Goldman after they were found stabbed to death outside of her Los Angeles home in 1994.
O.J. was acquitted after a high-profile trial, but was later found liable for the wrongful death of and battery against Goldman in a civil suit filed by Goldman’s family. O.J. was ordered to pay $33.5 million to the victim’s families.
At the time, O.J. and Nicole’s kids — daughter Sydney and son Justin — were both under 10 years old. They remained with their father when he moved to Florida and ultimately stood by his side after he faced more legal issues when they were both adults.
O.J. was found guilty of kidnapping and armed robbery in 2007 in Las Vegas. He served nine years in a Nevada prison before being granted an early release in July 2017. After a private battle with cancer, O.J.’s family announced in April 2024 that he died at age 76.
“On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer,” read a message from the family. “He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.”
Keep scrolling to see where O.J.’s kids are now:
Arnelle Simpson
Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images O.J. ‘s eldest child was his first daughter with wife Marguerite. Arnelle publicly showed support for his father when she served as a defense witness at O.J.’s 1995 murder trial. Arnelle testified that her dad was “very upset, emotional, confused” when he was told about Nicole Brown Simpson’s death, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Arnelle also spoke at O.J.’s 2017 parole hearing when he asked for a chance for their family to “move forward.”
“As a family, we recognize he’s not the perfect man,” she said at the time, according to CBS. “But as a man and a father he has done his best to behave in a way that speaks to his overall nature and character.”
Arnelle told Georgia Newsday in 2014 that she worked for a rapper and produced some fashion shows. She also appeared in several documentaries including the 2014 series OJ: Trial of the Century. She remained close to O.J. until his death.
Jason Simpson
Vinnie Zuffante/Getty Images Footage from Netflix’s American Manhunt: O.J. Simpson, which was released in January 2025, showed the famous 1994 Bronco chase that ended with Jason meeting his father at his Brentwood home. Police officers who were interviewed for the special recalled not knowing that Jason was O.J. and Marguerite’s son, which is why he was handcuffed by the police and led back into the house when he tried to approach O.J.
The Los Angeles Times reported in 2016 that Jason was a chef and culinary director at a restaurant in Atlanta. Jason gave a rare interview in 2021 for “The Food That Binds” podcast where he mentioned his father.
“There was a time when my dad was famous, and there was a time when he was infamous,” he recalled. “And I know that when he was famous, I didn’t want him around then because I didn’t want him to take away from something I took very serious, which was cooking.”
Jason explained his decision to keep a low profile.
“Sometimes, people are aggressive and sometimes people want to find out what’s going on with you, and they don’t, often they don’t have the best intentions,” he explained. “They don’t care if you have a job with supportive people who care about you and think the world of you, because there’s nothing that doesn’t sell.”
Aaren Simpson
Michael Ochs Archives/Getty Images O.J. and Marguerite welcomed their third child, daughter Aaren, in 1977. She died by accidental drowning shortly before turning 2 in 1979, which O.J. briefly addressed during a 2004 interview on the Today Show.
“I mean, I never have. You know, I don’t want to discuss it,” he said about how he and his ex-wife dealt with their daughter’s drowning, adding that the pair “never discussed” her passing. “It’s sad that it happened. It was a tremendous loss. We dealt with it. We moved on.”
O.J. and Marguerite’s marriage was revisited in Lifetime’s The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson where a neighbor, a Los Angeles police officer and Marguerite’s sister, Veterdata Jones, accused O.J. of domestic violence toward Marguerite.
“It was in a residential neighborhood that is off Mulholland Drive and west of the San Diego Freeway. We got to the home and we were met at the door by a woman. She had got into an argument with her husband and during the course of the argument he became violent with her,” retired Los Angeles police officer Terry Schauer recalled about arriving on the scene. “He struck her and as I recall, he pulled out some of her hair. My memory is that there was a clump of hair on the floor in the entryway of the home.”
Lifetime featured a message at the end of the segment, which read, “Marguerite Simpson has publicly denied any domestic abuse by O.J. Simpson.”
Sydney Simpson
MEGA O.J. and Nicole welcomed daughter Sydney in 1985. Sydney was 8 years old when Nicole died and was initially raised by Nicole’s side of the family before being placed back in O.J. ‘s custody after he was acquitted. The Browns fought for custody of Sydney and Justin until 2006, when they were no longer minors.
Before his death, O.J. discussed raising Sydney as a single parent, telling the Today Show in 2004, “My biggest problem and probably when I think of Nicole the most is with girls. [Their] problems are more emotional. Guys [do] dumb things and you can deal with that.”
He continued: “Sometimes I feel that maybe I made a mistake by choosing not to get involved and bringing another woman into the house. If that’s hurt anyone, I think it may hurt Sydney to some degree. But fortunately for me, there’s no usual piercings and no tattoos. And she’s an honor student. And she got accepted to a real fine school. I think I’m ahead of the game.”
Sydney earned a degree in sociology from Boston University and briefly lived in Atlanta before settling down in Florida. Sydney pursued a career in real estate and owned properties in Florida, according to a 2016 article from Tampa Bay Times.
Sydney has remained in contact with members of Nicole’s family over the years. Nicole’s sister Dominique Brown has remained in contact with Sydney and Justin while her sister Tanya Brown hasn’t. Denise Brown admitted in the doc that her decision to be outspoken about O.J. in an effort to raise awareness about domestic violence, made it hard to remain close with Nicole’s children.
Denise was told by producers of the 2024 Lifetime special that they were able to track down court documents confirming multiple issues with the law during Sydney and Justin’s time living with O.J. in Florida.
“By our count, there was close to 17 police reports we found. There was a series of 911 calls about violence inside the house,” the offscreen producer mentioned. “These were anonymous calls. They couldn’t do anything because they couldn’t determine where there was any truth to it.”
Justin Simpson
Vinnie Zuffante/Getty Images O.J. and Nicole’s youngest child was only 5 years old when his mom was murdered outside the house as he slept.
“He’s a remarkable kid in that even when he’s got other things on his mind, he has a tendency to turn it inward,” O.J. told the Today show in 2004. “And he’ll go to his room and do what he has to do. And you know, quite often, I’ll say, ‘What’s on your mind? What’s going on? Did something happen in school today?’ Or maybe he split up with his girlfriend or something.”
He continued: “He’s always pretty reluctant to get into it. He says, ‘Oh, Dad, I’ll be alright. Just leave me alone. I’ll be alright.’”
Justin spoke with Tampa Bay Times in 2016 about living in Florida after the release of FX’s The People vs. O.J. Simpson: An American Crime Story. He has worked in real estate and revealed in 2022 that he was expecting a child with his partner.
Justin’s godfather, David Brobeck, discussed his “good life” after O.J. ‘s death, telling People in April 2024, “[Sydney and Justin are] grown up, and they have their own families now, and they’re doing really well. They’re solid solid people and parents, and we just wish them all the best and give them lots of love.”
O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson’s children, Sydney and Justin, have largely stayed out of the public eye since the infamous trial that captivated the nation in the 1990s. Sydney, now 35, and Justin, 32, have chosen to lead private lives away from the media scrutiny that surrounded their family during their parents’ tumultuous relationship and subsequent tragedies.Sydney, the eldest of the siblings, has pursued a career in real estate and is reportedly living a quiet life in Florida. She has kept a low profile and has rarely spoken about her father or the events surrounding her mother’s murder. Justin, on the other hand, has focused on his passion for photography and has worked on various projects behind the scenes.
Despite their father’s continued presence in the media, Sydney and Justin have managed to stay under the radar and live relatively normal lives. They have chosen to distance themselves from the controversies that have surrounded their family and have made a conscious effort to maintain their privacy.
While the world may still be curious about where O.J. Simpson’s children are now, it seems that Sydney and Justin are content staying out of the spotlight and living their lives away from the public eye.

5 key details about Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman’s murder
The O.J. Simpson case is one of America’s most controversial legal cases. Former NFL star O.J. Simpson was acquitted of the June 12, 1994, murders of his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman, who were found stabbed outside Nicole’s Los Angeles home.
Even after thirty years, the case which captivated the nation remains unsolved. The trial, which was called, The People of the State of California v. Orenthal James Simpson happened in Los Angeles County Superior Court, where Simpson was acquitted of the double murders. However, in 1997, he was found liable once again.
5 details regarding the murder of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman
Here are five key details from the murder case of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman.
1. The double murder of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman
On June 12, 1994, Nicole Simpson and her family visited a restaurant in Los Angeles for dinner. They were served at the restaurant by Ron Goldman, a waiter there. Late that night, Goldman went to Brown Simpson’s home to return a pair of glasses belonging to Brown’s mother. However, at around midnight, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were found dead at Brown Simpson’s home. They were brutally stabbed.
On the night of the murder, NFL star O.J. Simpson was in Los Angeles. But he took a later flight that night to Chicago. Once he returned to Los Angeles the following day, he was interviewed by police.
2. The infamous car chase
On June 17, 1994, Simpson was ordered to surrender. However, he fled instead in a white Ford Bronco with his friend Al Cowlings. This led to a slow-speed chase where Simpson was tailed by police officers. This brought Southern California freeways to a standstill. It was even broadcast on television for 95 million Americans. The chase was documented by news helicopters which hovered overhead to film the scene. O.J. Simpson finally surrendered and he was arrested.
3. A trial that shook the country
O.J. Simpson was tried for the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. His defense argued he was framed, while prosecutors claimed he was abusive and had killed Nicole despite their divorce.
Blood from the crime scene was found in Simpson’s car and home. When Simpson tried on gloves believed to belong to the killer, they didn’t fit, strengthening the defense’s case. In 1995, Simpson was acquitted of all charges and consistently maintained his innocence.
4. A guilty verdict two years later
Even though Simpson was acquitted, Brown and Goldman’s families did not stop seeking justice. In 1997, they filed a civil suit against him and a civil jury found Simpson liable for the double murders. He was ordered to pay $33.5 million in damages to both the victims’ families.
5. O.J. Simpson went to prison for unrelated crimes
Although Simpson was acquitted of the double murders, he went to prison on account of a number of felony counts, including kidnapping and armed robbery. He served his sentence for nine years before walking out a free man on October 1, 2017. He lived the rest of his life in Las Vegas before passing away on April 10, 2024, from cancer.
Netflix’s American Manhunt: O.J. Simpson covers in detail the trial of O.J., which is regarded as one of the most controversial cases in recent history.

Nicole Eggert was one of the biggest stars of the 80s and 90s, with roles in numerous hit TV shows including Who’s the Boss?, Charles in Charge and Baywatch.
A child actress who successfully made the jump to adult roles, she reinvented herself in later years as a reality TV star, before becoming embroiled in controversy over sexual assault and harassment allegations against former Charles in Charge co-star Scott Baio.
Eggert, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023, has become vocal about the warning signs of the disease, and last year juggled gruelling cancer treatment with her role as a producer on the 2024 documentary series, After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun.

She appeared in an episode of Botched to seek help with her breast implants and on Scott Baio Is 45… and Single, a reality TV show in which Baio and a counsellor tried to figure out why he was still single by revisiting former girlfriends.
More recently, she was a producer on After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun.
The 2024 documentary series featured interviews with the show’s stars and never-before-seen home videos.
Relationships and children

In recent years, Eggert opened up about his drug addiction, and told People that most of their two-year relationship, which included a brief engagement, was marred by his drug use, including frequent late night trips to the emergency room.
“I didn’t know what to do. I was like, just take him to the hospital if that’s where he wants to go,” she said.

She has a second daughter, Keegan, who is 13. She has never publicly revealed the name of Keegan’s father.

In 2012, Eggert first made a series of allegations against her former co-star Baio, accusing him of having a sexual relationship with her before she turned 18.
The allegations resurfaced in 2017 and again in 2018, with Eggert making some claims on social media, including Twitter (now X).
Baio, who is 12 years her senior and was the star of the show, has denied anything sexual happened between the pair before she turned 18, but admitted the two had ‘consensual sex’ after she became an adult.
A former guest star came forward to back Eggert’s claims.
Another actor, Alexander Polinsky, who played Eggert’s younger brother, Adam Powell, on the show, also came forward in 2018 to accuse Baio of sexual harassment and abuse.
No charges were ever laid against Baio, who denied the allegations.
Breast cancer diagnosis
Eggert, then 52, revealed in December 2023 that she had been diagnosed with stage 2 invasive cribriform carcinoma of the breast, which spread to her lymph nodes .
She also revealed she missed several warning signs that she had cancer, mistaking them for menopause symptoms, including weight gain and changes to her breast.
She told Fox News Digital she noticed subtle changes in her body prior to the diagnosis.
“One thing I think back on is that suddenly my bra… kept moving and was fitting a little bit lopsided for a long time,” she said.
“What I thought was, you know, our breast tissue is always growing and changing and as women, our breasts move, and gravity hits and all that.
“So, I kind of chalked it up to that [but] what was actually happening is that the tumour was taking up more space.

The star is raising awareness about breast cancer symptoms she missed. (Instagram / Nicole Eggert) “The mass was making that breast bigger. So that’s why my bra was not fitting properly.”
Eggert said she also suddenly gained weight, which she said was caused by oestrogen, and started to experience a “throbbing in that area”.
“And so I went ahead and did the self-exam as soon as I felt the throbbing. And I found it. And it was this moment of like, ‘How did I not know that was there?’. So, those were my signs.”
She has kept fans updated on social media accounts, including Instagram, throughout her treatment, which included chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy.

During a mastectomy carried out last September, doctors found the cancer was “more advanced than first thought.”
In December, Eggert shared her distress at being tattooed ahead of starting radiotherapy.
“I didn’t realise it was actual, real tattoos,” she said, while struggling to hold back tears.
“It’s nothing but dots, but boy, every step of this process is never gonna let you forget it, there’s just always going to be a constant reminder.”
Eggert, now 53, hosts the Perfectly Twisted with Nicole Eggert podcast while continuing to undergo treatment, which will include breast reconstruction surgery and a second mastectomy.

On Pause Amid Chrishell Feud

Nicole Young isn’t currently “Selling Sunset” … the real estate agent has been put on pause from the show … TMZ has learned.
Production sources tell TMZ … Nicole’s future on the Netflix series remains in limbo after she was abruptly put on ice from filming in the middle of season 9 late last year.
We’re told the decision comes after Nicole’s continued drama with rival Chrishell Stause … and other members of the cast.
Our sources tell us an explosive incident went down between Nicole and the other Oppenheim Group agents after an all-cast dinner went sideways in November while cameras were rolling. We’re told things started off fine between Nicole and the others … that is until Chrishell and costar Emma Hernan arrived and things got heated.
Days after the drama, Nicole filmed a one-on-one scene with O Group honcho Jason Oppenheim … in which he suggested Nicole take a step back from the office. We’re told Nicole hasn’t filmed anything since that on-camera conversation.
In case you missed it … Chrishell publicly said in September she wouldn’t come back to the show if Nicole returned. However, as we reported in November … Chrishell was back filming the show despite saying she’d only film with Nicole again if the show forked over some serious dough.

However, things took an ugly turn when Nicole appeared to like an anti-LGBTQ+ post about Chrishell’s relationship with drummer G Flip. Nicole profusely apologized after being confronted by Chrishell … which resulted in a truce between the realtors.
Yet, their peacetime didn’t last long, as Nicole later accused Chrishell’s BFF Emma of having an affair with a married man.
Selling Sunset fans, brace yourselves! Nicole Young, one of the stars of the hit reality show, has announced that she will be taking a break from filming amid her ongoing feud with co-star Chrishell Stause. In a recent interview, Young revealed that the tension between her and Stause has become too much to handle, and she needs some time away from the cameras to focus on herself. The two have been at odds for quite some time, with their disagreements playing out on screen for all to see.
Young’s decision to step back from the show has left fans wondering what will happen next. Will she return to the show once things have cooled off, or is this the end of her time on Selling Sunset?
