Bought this one as a gift but then got one for my office, as well. My father, daughter, and son all have Aura frames and it is so easy to share photos between us. My father tells me he sometimes just sits and watches the photos change.The iOS app is easy to use, but the website interface is a little lacking (last I checked which was a while ago). My daughter's boyfriend has one and he uses Android and I haven't heard any complaints.We didn't get the top-of-the-line models, but on these I wish the controls on the frame itself were a little more useful. Of course, then it would cost more.There is a fair amount of customization available in the app.An EXCELLENT gift.

    Pretty good digital photo frame with easy-to-use software and phenomenal customer support

    I've had this frame for a little over a year and it randomly stopped working one night and wouldn't turn on again the next morning sometime between our scheduled off/on hours (a feature the software offers). Since it had been 13 months since I purchased it and the warranty is listed as 12 months, I figured that was just the way things go for me and reached out to support to ask if they accept frames for diagnostics and repair and what their rates for such are and much to my chagrin they just offered to replace it outright, because, and I quote from their email; "We apologize for the inconvenience; we want to make sure you have the best possible experience with your Aura frame!"

    This is why I love the smaller, more labor-of-love type companies. The companies that sit in the comfortable spot between so-small-they-fold and too-big-to-care. They value their customers!

    The product itself is pretty good, resolution is reasonable and the app and software itself is easy to use. I purchased this frame after one of our cats passed away last year; I couldn't decide which pictures of his to print out, so I took a shot on a digital frame so we could display a selection of his photos while we were grieving. It was super easy to hook up my Apple Photo albums to automatically import into the frame. Now that iOS 17 and MacOS Sonoma have pet face detection, it's been a breeze getting the frame to display every single photo we've ever taken of our dearly departed furbabies without having to manually find them in all our pictures.

    For pictures that aren't the right aspect ratio, some photos do have to be manually aligned for display via the app, but it's pretty easy to do and it doesn't modify your photos; you can also elect to use black or the extended-and-blurred letterboxing on the sides or top/bottom depending on if you use the frame in portrait or landscape mode, or you can zoom to prevent that altogether. It also plays videos, and while they disclaimed the ability to auto-import videos from iOS albums, my experience was that they showed up anyways.

    As an added bonus, there's a kind of private social-networking type aspect to the app; you can add anyone you want to your frame so they can add pictures to it, and you can heart and comment on the photos in the app. So it's probably great for families or friends who are either separated by distance or just love sharing photos with their loved ones (I'm one of those weird types who really only displays photos of pets, and until i teach them to use the phone it's going to be just me using the frame)

    Highly recommend this company and their products! Will submit a photo of it in action once the replacement arrives!

    I'm an amateur photographer. I was looking for an easy way to display my many pictures. I was not disappointed!! You will not be disappointed. (I'm a REAL person, I'm NOT getting paid by the manufacturer).

    You will love the picture quality, the frame quality, and how easy it is to add pictures from your phone or computer. One of the best purchases I ever made.

    I love it so much, that I bought a second frame today to display my many travel pictures. The first frame is being used to display my MANY family photos. (As I said, I'm an amateur photographer).

    You won't be disappointed!!

    I can't speak to the tech support as I have not had any issues. But the one thing I will say is, google youtube on how to use it and you'll see for yourself how easy it is to use. That's how I got started using it quickly.

    We struggled with an app and a tablet to display pictures off of the internet. Constant trouble with re-booting, delays, etc. No more. This frame, while expensive, lets you view pictures from anywhere on your phone, and anyone with access can upload whatever they want shown in the frame. They cycle at whatever speed you select. Reliably. My mom, who is 91 years old, really likes to see the family pictures next to her sink in the kitchen, and the occasional surprise when someone drops new pictures into the online repository. Not a hitch since we started using this frame. Heavy, so it sits where you plant it, and great quality picture, too!

    I purchased this for my wife for christmas , she loves it, the app is very intuitive and you can add pictures from anywhere ( you dont have to be on the same wifi network as the frame), you can also give access to friends so they can photos to it as well.

    Picture quality is great, no limit on pictures, you can do videos as well. it automatically turns itself off when the room is dark ( you can set a schedule as well), my only complaint is the slide show interval, 15 seconds is the quickest, I would like to set it at 5 or 10 seconds, but its not that big of a deal!

    I have used cheaper frames with crappy apps, fewer features and inferior picture quality, yes the Aura is more expensive and it's worth every penny!

    I was expecting more from such an expensive product. From the start I thought a simple digital screen should not cost that much these days. I decided to give it a try anyway, assuming that the high price would be justified. But so far, it has been an underwhelming experience.

    First of all, the setup as a gift did not work. I set everything up in the app and it looked like it was ready, but when my wife unpacked it, it did not connect to the WiFi automatically, nor did the welcome message show up.

    Secondly, it just seems very clunky. The frame is heavy and thick. In the age of super thin and lightweight displays, it looks outdated. I’m sure I could find a used tablet for a similar price to do the same job.

    The picture quality seemed fine, no better or worse than a phone or tablet screen.

    This would all be fine if the frame was around 70€, but with the high price tag it’s rather disappointing.

    The clarity and sharpness as well as colour of my photos taken on Leica, iPhone 12 and Sony A7R3 are really very good and my interest was abit above family photos. There is good depth of picture too. Colours are like the camera photos and even my Leica B&W photos display nicely. The pickup by the Aura App is easy and transfer to the digital frame is seamless. The power cord is quite generous, albeit proprietary, and it comes (UK version) with 3 pin, 2 pin EU, and another 2 pin changeable plug which is good quality. The frame itself is quite wide and sits well at an angle on the table…sturdy. The Touch Bar works fine and the product switches itself off when the room light is low (you can tweak power settings too). Picture transfer from iPhones abroad as well as across localities are fine; stuff works. No SD card or Bluetooth – everything over wifi and painless to reconfigure to a different router if you move it.

    Cons? : price ! Expensive certainly and I would have liked a slightly bigger frame for this Mason Luxe…it just feels an inch or two too small for me. It is quite adequate as a tabletop display but when you see its quality, you feel it should be a bit larger! Ie it is smaller than my 11” ipad screen… The Walden will be my next purchase when it becomes available in UK/EU.

    I purchased the frame as a gift for my parents. They love it. The quality of the images is great, they are sharp and maintain nice colors. The frame is sturdy. The set up was easy. The app to upload works mostly well (sometimes crashes) and the interface is easy to navigate. I appreciate you can add multiple members so entire family can upload pictures.
    The only drawback is the color/texture of the frame. Personally I would appreciate more simple and timeless design. I find simple wooden or plain black would work better for majority interiors that textured gray.

    Update I have been trying to Download the app that this comes with it wants me to log into my Google from the app and I am not doing that. It wants me to pay for the app and I’m not doing that either. This is supposed to be a Wi-Fi picture frame. It didn’t say anything about paying for an app!!!So I have wasted two whole days trying to get this thing to work and now after I don’t even know how many attempts to download the app now it’s asking me for payment information‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️I am ending up not having to use this at my new desk. Even though I am sure it will make desk look nice.It’s a little much for what it is and I am not sure it can hold up 3 small monitors.I have not put it together…. Just the feel of it seems not very sturdy.Unfortunately it will go back…. I was hoping for a more sturdy feel.

      The first frame I received in Dec. 2023 did not work on arrival and had to be replaced. It is now less then a year after receiving the replacement and it has stopped working. It will sit infinitely loading and never booting up. As per the directions provided on the Frameo website, I attempted to reboot it, accept I couldn't access the different options in the reboot menu. It says "button press cycles options" "long press activates option" except any button press activates the option. So there is no way to cycle to the factory reset option. This was not a cheap frame and for it to not even last a year is sad. Poor design and poor software, do not buy.

    Be sure to get App that has Disney in the name of you are having issues with registration.Please check to see if the S/N of your frame includes the string A133 in it. If it does, it will need to use the newer version of the app. Please download the PhotoShare Frame for Disney app from your App Store. If you don't have an A133 frame, please double check the ten digit Frame ID. If you are using the correct Frame ID, there is a chance that it was not properly registered on our server. Please do a Factory Reset (Settings > System > Factory Default Settings). This should force the frame to either re-register the Frame ID it was given or to pull down a new Frame ID. If you already have photos on the frame, we would suggest backing them up to a USB drive or SD card before factory resetting as everything will be erased. We apologize for the inconvenience. If it still doesn't work, please provide the Frame ID and S/N for troubleshooting purposes.

      Between my mother and I, we have purchased 11 frames for gifts within the past 6 months. 2 of the frames have stopped working correctly. The 1st, I received timely assistance and was sent a new frame. I would say I had appropriate assistance from the company. The only complaint is that I needed to pay $20+ to return the ill functioning frame. In my opinion, the company should have paid for the return of their bad product. The second frame however, I have submitted via email and tech support request twice without response. It has been 3 weeks. The company does not offer a customer service phone number, so I have no choice but to continue to waste my time trying to replace a frame that I gifted to my Grandmother. I feel terrible, because she does not get to see me or my children due to COVID, so this frame was a wonderful surprise and she did love it, while it worked. I too love my frame and the ease of the app to add to all of my family members, whom I purchased the frame for. It’s really a wonderful gift, especially in these times! I only give one star because 2 out of 11 frames purchased did not fully work…that’s too many in my opinion. I’m very unhappy with their customer service. I also can not get pictures to email to any frames. The app and website do work well though. I love that I can add multiple pictures, to multiple frames at the same time. If I did this all over, I’d buy a different frame with the app option that allows to add to multiple frames. It’s a wonderful thing, like I said, but this brand is poor. To anyone reading this- Please choose a different frame, but buy a frame, because they’re great! PS I’ve read many comments on Facebook advertisements for this frame, that note the same customer service issues.

      I would have given this five stars but the first one came and it didn’t work so I had to go through a return process and had to drive to an Amazon return center. Then I bought my mother in law one for Christmas and thought to myself, “why not get one for myself?” It has been a great way to see my photos of my family and friends. I bought the white frame and it looks nice with my decor. It’s very user friendly, super easy to upload 50 pics at a time.

      My advice when uploading pics is to crop them so the people are close up in the frame and the pic is landscape so that when it appears on the digital frame, you can see everyone. Otherwise your pic may be too small.

      I purchased this digital frame for myself for my birthday, I had given one to my mom for Mother's Day years ago and wanted one for myself. The frame is very good quality, well-made and has a faux wood look that goes well with my decor. The ease of the app to upload pictures from your phone is easy to use and simple but the touch screen on the frame itself is a little tricky, you can tap what you want and sometimes it will go back to the main picture screen, and you have to start again with the function you were working on. The app is easy to use but one thing I do wish you could do on the app is to delete a picture from the frame instead of having to utilize the frame systems settings to delete it. I'm very happy with my purchase and would consider buying another one for additional gifts.

      We were so excited to get this, but it never turned on. After HOURS & multiple days of being on the phone with the company, turns out it is a software issue & the company who does the software is NO LONGER IN BUISNESS. So it literally can not be fixed. It never worked and amazon wouldn't give us a return. So now we have a large non-functional square. Love the concept, but go with another company that is still in business! $80 Down the drain, and my mom still wants one, so now going to be spending all over again. Shouldn't even be sold if the software company doesn't exist anymore.

      This digital picture frame is great for displaying multiple photos in limited space. I have it on my desk at work, and love seeing it scroll through all of my pictures. It's a nice mood booster for me (seeing pictures of my dogs and my adventures makes me happy), and it's a nice conversation piece. I like the darker frame for the space, and had to drill holes in that outer frame to attach it, but that was easy. The picture quality is nice, both image quality and color. The frame seems to really like one particular picture and keeps displaying it a little too often; my coworkers and I get a good laugh out because it's a picture of me and we joke that I could have just gotten a mirror. Maybe I need to switch it from random to sequential, delete that pic, or leave it for the laughs. I chose this frame because didn't want one with WiFi at work.

      This checked all my boxes and there was a surprise bonus!
      I was looking for something that allows multiple ways to get pictures to play, my main ones being flash drive & sd card since it would be placed in my husbands office which the WiFi is heavily restricted. This product offered flash drive, sd card and WiFi. I sent a ton of photos from my phone to the device while loading it at home. I was very shocked and excited to find that this frame plays videos and it’s got a speaker!!! You can only send one video at a time and it can’t be combined with pics. you can send a ton of photos at once, I think the most I sent was around 60 at a time so far. The quality is amazing, you can adjust the placement and brightness of photo. The frame has an ambient light that you can adjust, you can change settings for notifications, volume, brightness, etc. The size to me is like a standard frame. It also has displays time and weather info. As for memory, I’ve only gotten through to loading around 300 mixed media sent through WiFi. I haven’t explored the frame fully yet but I absolutely love it!!! The price seemed like a really good deal before I got it, upon receiving I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the fact it came a two pack!
      I’m hoping the quality lasts long as our previous frame (from another brand) didn’t last more than a year before the quality went bad. A few years ago my in-laws got an expensive frame as a gift, it doesn’t allow videos and it has recently started having trouble with overall quality. I think we may end up buying a few more frames as gifts for grandparents and siblings.

BUT one had permanent grey streaks on it's display and both kept corrupting my USB drives. I couldn't find anything in the documentation or in the menu for ejecting USB drives. That's why I rate them 3 stars.

    Very easy to use
    I bought this for my grandmother who recently moved into assisted living. Her space is limited so she couldn't take her huge photo albums with her. This is a great alternative. We scanned her photos, added them to the cloud and uploaded them to this frame. Now she has her enormous amount of pictures all in one medium sized frame. She can go through the pictures manually or use the feature that changes the pictures automatically after a few seconds. The app is very user friendly and I like that I can add new pictures remotely.

      The screen is beautiful and the resolution great. It also operates very quickly and smoothly. Very happy with the frame overall and the Frameo app. However, there are a couple of usability shortcomings. As there are no physical buttons nor a remote control, there seems to be no way to restart the frame or bring it out of sleep mode early other than to unplug it and plug back in again which of course reboots the frame. Not the end of the world but not very elegant and an oversight in my opinion in an otherwise great frame.

      Update: After I wrote this the seller responded and pointed out that there is a power button on the side of the frame I had missed – so mistake on my part. Upgraded to 5 stars!

      Great digital frame, need a few improvements

      This is a great digital photo frame. The picture quality is very good and the slideshow settings are logical and easy to use. I did not use the app or try to send photos to it, so I can't say how well those work.

      The only problem I ran into was that transferring photos over a USB cable from a computer didn't work. I tried 3 different Windows computers and different cables, but none of them detected the frame. Finally I gave up and transferred the photos using an SD card. Importing from SD card is slow but reliable.

      One feature I wish they would add in a future update: During slideshows, there is no way to get information about a photo being shown. It would be great if there was a way to pause the slideshow, and get details about the current photo, like the date it was taken, file name, etc.

      Also, it would be nice if during slideshow there was an option to show the date the photo was taken, instead of showing the current date, which is useless.

      May 2024 update – changing rating to 5 stars: It seems that there was a software update to provide functionality similar to what I was looking for. During a slideshow you can now show the date the photo was taken, and shows photos in the order that they were taken (not just in the order they were received).
