  • 76ers Trade Rumors: Knicks, Celtics, Nuggets Among Teams Eyeing Guerschon Yabusele | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - JANUARY 15: Guerschon Yabusele #28 of the Philadelphia 76ers controls the ball against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center on January 15, 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Guerschon Yabusele is garnering trade interest in his second stint in the NBA.

The Philadelphia Inquirer‘s Keith Pompey named Yabusele as the Philadelphia 76ers’ “most enticing trade target for opposing teams” ahead of the Feb. 6 deadline.

Pompey named the New York Knicks, Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets as teams interested in acquiring the former 2016 first-round pick.

Yabusele began his NBA career by playing two seasons with the Boston Celtics before the team waived him in the summer of 2019.

He spent several years playing professionally in China, France and Spain before the Sixers brought Yabusele back to the NBA on a one-year veteran minimum contract.

Having played his way into a starting role while averaging 10.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, Yabusele has likely out-earned his $2 million salary this season.

The Sixers likely aren’t in a position to give him a raise next season after committing to pay more than $135 million to Joel Embiid, Paul George and Tyrese Maxey in 2025-26.

Deciding whether to take advantage of the jump in Yabusele’s value to trade him this winter could hinge on if the Sixers see themselves as a postseason contender.

Heading into Sunday with a 19-28 record, the Sixers one game back from the Chicago Bulls for the last play-in spot in the Eastern Conference.

If the Sixers decide to push for the play-in round, keeping Yabusele, who played well during a recent four-game winning streak that lifted Philadelphia closer to the playoff picture, could be key to the team’s postseason hopes.

If Philadelphia decides to sell at the deadline, however, the team could be better served by taking advantage of Yabusele’s value to a win-now team by picking up draft assets.

SNY’s Ian Begley previously reported that the Knicks had checked in with the Sixers regarding Yabusele, and that his .400 shooting on 3.9 attempted 3-pointers per game could “benefit a Knick team that wants to keep the floor spread on offense.”

The Nuggets have been in need of frontcourt depth throughout the 2024-25 season. Denver’s bench has contributed 10.2 points per game, good for 27th in the NBA, through 49 games this season. Adding Yabusele as a depth option behind Nikola Jokić could help this team gear up for a playoff run.

The Celtics added to their frontcourt depth ahead of the 2024 trade deadline by adding Xavier Tillman Sr., but Tillman’s playing time has dropped to an average of just seven minutes through 26 games so far this season. Replacing him with Yabusele could be a bench upgrade for the defending champions.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been a hot topic of discussion in recent days as rumors swirl around potential trades involving forward Guerschon Yabusele. Several teams, including the New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, and Denver Nuggets, are reportedly interested in acquiring the talented young player.

Yabusele, a former first-round draft pick, has shown flashes of potential during his time with the 76ers, but has struggled to find consistent playing time on a deep roster. With the trade deadline approaching, Philadelphia may be looking to move Yabusele in exchange for assets that can help bolster their playoff push.

The Knicks, Celtics, and Nuggets are all in need of frontcourt depth and could benefit from adding a player like Yabusele to their roster. While no trade has been finalized yet, discussions are said to be ongoing and a deal could materialize in the coming days.

Stay tuned for more updates on the 76ers trade rumors involving Guerschon Yabusele, as news, scores, highlights, stats, and rumors continue to develop.

  • Tyrese Maxey Makes Philadelphia 76ers History vs Nuggets

As the Philadelphia 76ers battled it out against the Denver Nuggets on Friday night, their star guard Tyrese Maxey moved up the team’s leaderboard in shooting from beyond the arc.

With six three-pointers made against the Nuggets, Maxey surpassed Kyle Korver.

He’s now chasing Robert Covington and Allen Iverson in most three-pointers made in team history.

Maxey accomplished that feat in a little over 300 games. Although he entered the NBA with a question mark surrounding his three-point shooting, Maxey erased all doubt by his sophomore season.

In year two, Maxey averaged 43 percent from three on four attempts per game. During his third season, he knocked down 43 percent of his shots from deep on six shots per game.

Last season, Maxey upped his attempts to eight per game. While his efficiency took a slight dip, he still managed to be 37 percent from three while averaging 26 points per game.

The 2024-2025 NBA season has seen another slight climb in attempts from deep for Maxey. However, a slow start to the year caused his percentage to take a notable drop.

Through 40 games, Maxey is averaging 34 percent from three. However, he’s been scoring at a career-high clip, averaging 28 points per game.

Maxey is now 58 threes away from surpassing Covington. The former Sixers forward achieved 724 threes made in 323 games with the 76ers.

The leader of the franchise, Allen Iverson, has nearly 220 more threes made than Maxey right now. Iverson accomplished that in over 700 games with the 76ers.

In a historic game against the Denver Nuggets, Tyrese Maxey of the Philadelphia 76ers put on a show that will be remembered for years to come. Maxey scored a career-high 39 points, becoming the youngest player in 76ers history to score that many points in a game.

Not only did Maxey light up the scoreboard, but he also displayed his all-around skills by adding seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals to his impressive stat line. His performance helped lead the 76ers to a dominant 123-104 victory over the Nuggets.

In addition to his scoring outburst, Maxey’s energy and hustle on both ends of the court were instrumental in the team’s success. He was relentless in attacking the basket, drawing fouls, and creating scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates.

With this historic performance, Tyrese Maxey has solidified himself as a rising star in the NBA and a key player for the Philadelphia 76ers. Fans can’t wait to see what he will accomplish next as he continues to make his mark on the league.

  • Sixers Bell Ringer: Virtuoso performance from Tyrese Maxey, career night from Guerschon Yabusele not enough in loss to Nuggets

    Sixers Bell Ringer Season Standings:
    Tyrese Maxey – 11
    Jared McCain – 8
    Joel Embiid – 7
    Paul George – 7
    Guerschon Yabusele – 4
    Kelly Oubre Jr – 2
    Ricky Council IV – 2
    KJ Martin – 2
    Justin Edwards – 2
    Adem Bona – 1

The Sixers, riding the high of a four-game win streak, welcomed the team from the mile-high city to town for a Friday night tilt with Denver Nuggets and reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.

The Sixers were once again without the services of Joel Embiid, Paul George, Caleb Martin, Jared McCain, KJ Martin and Andre Drummond. The Nuggets were looking to get back in the win column after their first three-game losing skid of the season.

The Sixers had a familiar face ring the bell for tonight’s game.

The first quarter of this one was a thrilling back and forth affair. The Nuggets got out to an early eight-point lead, but the Sixers quickly surged back to take the lead behind a 13-4 run courtesy of five points apiece from Guerschon Yabusele and Tyrese Maxey that was capped off by a Justin Edwards three. Maxey put in 13 first-quarter points to go along with eight from Yabusele to lead the Sixers. A buzzer-beater heave from Julian Strawther would give the Nuggets a 38-36 advantage after one despite the Sixers hitting 8-of-12 from beyond the three-point arc.

The second quarter was a lot of the same and would continue the high-octane contest. The Nuggets’ bench would continue to be a thorn in the Sixers’ side as Christian Braun and Julian Strawther would combine for 23 first-half points. Nikola Jokic did Nikola Jokic things and would head to the half with 13 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. The Sixers were able to stay attached throughout the second quarter due in large part to Yabusele who would add 10 more points to his first quarter total for a grand total of 18 at intermission. Kelly Oubre had a big quarter to go alongside Yabusele to carry the Sixers offense with 18 points of his own.

The undermanned Sixers, like they have often this season, struggled defensively to match up with the Nuggets personnel and surrendered 73 first half points. The Sixers trailed 73-69 at the half.

The offensive explosion continued in the third quarter. The Sixers were carried by 16 third-quarter points from Maxey who continued to wow with his elite shot-making and touch. Yabusele continued to cook in his matchup vs. Jokic as he put in another 10 points in the quarter to give him a total of 28 and a new career high. The Sixers struggled to contain Jamal Murray who began to heat up throughout the period to lead the Nuggets with 27 points after three. A Ricky Council IV buzzer-beater three over Jokic pulled the Sixers within three at the close of the quarter. The Sixers trailed 103-100.

Despite a herculean performance from Maxey and a career night from Yabusele the Sixers couldn’t get enough stops on Jokic down the stretch to pull out a victory. The Nuggets would snap their three-game losing streak with a 137-134 victory.

    Time for the Bell Ringer.

Tyrese Maxey: 42 points, 9 assists, 15-of-26 from the field, 6-of-11 from three

In a month of monster performances from Maxey this one may have been his best. From start to finish Maxey was in attack mode. The early season shooting and finishing struggles are far in the rearview now for Maxey. Whether it was getting to his patented step back three, showcasing fantastic touch and skill in the midrange with short jumpers and floaters, or blowing by defenders in a blur to the rim for a high array of difficult finishes, Maxey seemingly got whatever he wanted.

Coming off being one of the most egregious All-Star snubs in recent memory Maxey continued to show regardless of what the fans, media, or coaches vote he is indeed an All-Star caliber player and one of the best scorers in this league. In a season that’s been filled with drama and adversity the Sixers’ 24-year-old guard continues to be a shining light and bring hope to a franchise that desperately needs it. Maxey would finish the game with 42 points — 12 of Maxey’s points came in the fourth quarter as himself and Jokic traded baskets down the stretch. The Sixers will surely regret Maxey not getting a touch on either of the team’s final two possessions.

Guerschon Yabusele: 28 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, 12-of-17 from the field, 4-of-7 from three

Yabusele continues to show the Sixers that he is someone that they should not be looking to trade and rather somebody that they should be maneuvering in order to keep around long term. Yabusele, one of the best stories in all of basketball this year with his return to the NBA, poured in hyper-efficient career-high 28 points. Yabusele often defended by Nikola Jokic in this one made Jokic pay for his reluctance to leave the paint defensively and when he did Yabusele punished him with drives to the hoop for finishes at the rim. Yabusele, like he often has this season, got the Wells Fargo Center on its feet throughout with plays above the rim, throwing down thunderous dunks. Yabusele also continued to be the glue guy that he’s been all season by digging out loose balls, fighting on the offensive glass, playing with max effort defensively, and doing whatever it takes to try and help this Sixers team win.

Two great performances to pick from tonight. Let us know who you got.

The Philadelphia 76ers faced off against the Denver Nuggets in a thrilling matchup last night, but ultimately fell short in a close game. Despite the loss, there were some standout performances from individual players on the Sixers’ side.

The Sixers’ bell ringer for the night was rookie guard Tyrese Maxey, who put on a virtuoso performance with a career-high 31 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Maxey showcased his scoring ability and playmaking skills, proving to be a bright spot for the team in the absence of key players.

Additionally, Guerschon Yabusele had a career night off the bench, contributing 20 points and 8 rebounds in a solid showing. Yabusele’s energy and scoring punch provided a much-needed spark for the Sixers, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win against a tough Nuggets team.

Despite the strong individual performances, the Sixers couldn’t overcome the Nuggets’ balanced attack and fell short in a closely contested game. However, the resilience and effort shown by Maxey, Yabusele, and the rest of the team is a positive sign moving forward.

The Sixers will look to bounce back from this loss and continue to build chemistry and cohesion as they push towards the playoffs. With players like Maxey and Yabusele stepping up in key moments, the future looks bright for Philadelphia as they aim to make a deep postseason run.

  • 3 observations after Sixers fall just short in high-scoring battle vs. Nuggets – NBC Sports Philadelphia

The Sixers fell a hair shy of pulling off a fifth consecutive win Friday night.

They lost a high-scoring battle to the Nuggets, dropping a 137-134 game at Wells Fargo Center.

The Sixers are now 19-28 overall. Denver is 29-19.

Tyrese Maxey led the Sixers with a 42-point, nine-assist performance.

Guerschon Yabusele scored an NBA career-high 28 points on 12-for-17 shooting and Kelly Oubre Jr. put up 27 points.

Nikola Jokic posted 28 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds. Jamal Murray recorded 31 points and 11 assists.

The Sixers still had six players out, including Joel Embiid (left knee injury management) and Paul George (left pinkie finger extensor tendor injury).

Sixers head coach Nick Nurse said pregame that George is “day-to-day.” He said the Sixers plan for Embiid to practice Saturday and expect to have a better sense of his status after that.

The Sixers will play the Celtics on Sunday night in Philadelphia. Here are observations on their defeat to the Nuggets:

Jokic and Maxey feature in 1st quarter

Maxey committed three turnovers Friday in under two minutes. Jokic fed Aaron Gordon for a dunk and Nurse called timeout with his team trailing 14-6.

The Sixers faced the same size-related challenges present in their blowout loss last Tuesday to Denver. The Nuggets scored the night’s first 12 points in the paint.

As he routinely does, Yabusele sparked a Sixers run. He hit a wing three-pointer, stole the ball from Russell Westbrook and steamed forward for a coast-to-coast slam. The Sixers soon had their first lead.

Maxey shrugged off his shaky start and found his groove as an isolation scorer late in a 13-point, four-assist first quarter. He passed Kyle Korver for third place on the Sixers’ all-time made three-pointers list.

On the other end, Jokic appeared well on his way to a triple-double with nine points, six rebounds and six assists in the opening period. He casually diced up the Sixers’ defense and caused frequent problems with his transition ventures after defensive rebounds.

    Script flips with second-unit scoring

After the Sixers amassed 40-15 bench scoring edge in their win Wednesday over the Kings, the second-unit story was quite different Friday night.

Christian Braun and Julian Strawther combined to make five three-point shots in the first half. Denver scored the game’s first 19 bench points.

The Sixers still managed to stay close in an offense-centric first half. Oubre led a bench-heavy lineup well. He drove and finished forcefully, drew free throws and barely sat. He wound up logging 22 minutes and 29 seconds before halftime.

Every Sixers starter made at least one three-pointer in the first half. Yabusele went 4 for 5 from long distance and Justin Edwards shot 3 for 4.

The points flowed freely on both sides. Unless they turned the ball over, the Nuggets appeared destined to create a high-quality shot. Denver held a 73-69 lead at intermission and shot an incredible 66.7 percent from the floor over the first two quarters.

    Back-and-forth action late

Maxey capitalized on Denver’s lax transition defense in the third quarter, converting a layup and then a pull-up three just 18 seconds later.

Yabusele kept on scoring, too. Less than a minute after setting his new career high, Yabusele slammed in a big-time alley-oop dunk off an Edwards lob. On top of the Frenchman’s scoring variety, it was impressive to see Yabusele go at Jokic and grab his chances to either shoot comfortable jumpers or drive past the three-time MVP.

Again, neither defense had much success in the third quarter. A buzzer-beating Ricky Council IV three cut the Nuggets’ advantage to 103-100 going into the fourth period. Council made another corner triple early in the fourth quarter, then swiped a steal from Westbrook and dished to Oubre for a game-tying layup.

Adem Bona played a couple of excellent minutes after a Denver timeout — a dunk, a block, an offensive rebound and ample hustle. Ultimately, the Sixers were down 112-109 when Maxey checked back in with 8:25 left in the fourth quarter.

The Sixers substantially elevated their defensive level for a stretch in the fourth. Kyle Lowry did good work on several occasions against Gordon in the post. Maxey tightly contested jumpers that Murray and Braun air balled.

In the shotmaking department, the Sixers continued to receive plenty of contributions. Eric Gordon drilled back-to-back deep threes. Maxey sliced through the Nuggets’ defense for driving layups, Oubre nailed a corner three and the Sixers took a 128-125 lead.

Jokic and Maxey each starred in an entertaining, back-and-forth final few minutes. Jokic sunk multiple shots that the Nuggets needed, including a go-ahead three with 39.8 seconds remaining. His runner with 12.7 seconds to go gave Denver a 135-132 edge.

Out of the ensuing timeout, Oubre made a put-back layup off a Yabusele miss inside. The Sixers took up considerable time in the process, though.

After two Murray foul shots, Yabusele had to resort to a half-court heave before the final buzzer. It came up short and the Sixers’ 134 points were insufficient for a fifth straight win.

    1. Embiid’s dominance on full display: Despite the loss, Joel Embiid once again showed why he is one of the most dominant big men in the league. He put up an impressive stat line of 34 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists, showcasing his versatility and skill on both ends of the court.
    2. Lack of defensive intensity: The Sixers struggled to contain the Nuggets’ high-powered offense, allowing them to shoot over 50% from the field and 40% from three-point range. With key players like Ben Simmons and Matisse Thybulle out due to injury, the team’s defensive deficiencies were exposed, and they will need to address this moving forward.
    3. Offensive firepower not enough: Despite scoring 120 points, the Sixers couldn’t keep pace with the Nuggets’ explosive offense. Tobias Harris had a strong showing with 21 points, but the team as a whole lacked consistency and struggled to find their rhythm at key moments in the game. Moving forward, they will need to find ways to improve their offensive efficiency and execution in crunch time situations.

  • Recap: Denver Nuggets get up big and then survive rally from Charlotte Hornets for 107-104 victory

The Denver Nuggets were looking to finish out their five game road trip on a high note tonight. After getting a victory last night, the Nuggets backed it up with another “W” against the Charlotte Hornets. Denver made it more interesting than it needed to be after they squandered a big lead in the second half to fall behind by four points with less than a minute to play. Nikola Jokic willed them to victory once again to cap off another big night for him and another triple double. It wasn’t exactly pretty, but the Nuggets win another one on a back to back, final score 107-104.

Neither team could make many shots to open the game. The score was still 2-2 at the nine and a half minute mark. Jokic got some easy buckets and also buried a three to build a Denver lead. There wasn’t much offense outside of Nikola though which kept the lead from growing a ton. Charlotte was still shooting a horrid percentage from the floor so Denver stayed in front. Zeke Nnaji made an early appearance as one of the first guys off the bench and Jalen Pickett followed shortly after. Denver went cold from the floor while Charlotte remained cold. Both teams started working for free throws and the Nuggets had more success to close the quarter. After one they led 27-20.

The Nuggets bench unit had to battle for points with Christian Braun doing most of the battling. They also kept the Hornets off the scoreboard and pushed the lead into double digits. The reserve group kept playing hard and kept growing their advantage. That led to an extended 20-8 run for Denver and a double digit lead when Jokic came back in. Charlotte responded and the Nuggets suddenly couldn’t buy a basket. The Hornets went on a 9-0 run and got back within three before Denver finally got a couple buckets in the final moments of the half. They went to the locker room leading 54-46.

The Nuggets exerted their will to open the second half and easily pushed the lead back above a dozen. Jamal Murray had a quiet first half but led the Nuggets offense early in the third quarter. They slowed down after that but Charlotte continued to miss shots, other than Nick Smith Jr. He was hitting threes but it seemed like every time he got one the Nuggets had an answer. Still, the Hornets weren’t going to just go away. They went on a run down the stretch of the third to get back within eight. Denver was able to stop Charlotte there but a sloppy final minute let the Hornets cut into the lead again and the third ended with the Nuggets up 90-81.

The bench unit struggled to score to start the fourth quarter and the Hornets closed in. Nnaji had some solid minutes getting a couple easy baskets and piling up blocks. Charlotte wouldn’t give in and other than Nnaji no one could score, literally. Eventually the compelte lack of offense allowed the Hornets to push all the way back and tie the game at 94. Jokic settled Denver down and helped get a couple buckets but Miles Bridges was attacking on the other end. The game stayed tied going into the final two minutes of the game. Bridges got a bucket to give Charlotte their first lead since 2-0 and then hit another to put the Hornets up four. Jokic responded with an and-one and then the Hornets inexplicably fouled him in the back court with 18 seconds left. He sunk them both and then fed Murray for a fastbreak layup off a miss to put Denver up 107-104. The Hornets couldn’t get a buzzer beater three and Denver survives to win.

The Denver Nuggets came out strong against the Charlotte Hornets, building a big lead early in the game. However, the Hornets made a strong comeback in the second half, putting pressure on the Nuggets to hold onto their lead.

Despite the Hornets’ rally, the Nuggets managed to hang on for a 107-104 victory. Nikola Jokic led the way for Denver with a near triple-double, scoring 19 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and dishing out 8 assists.

The Nuggets’ defense also played a key role in securing the win, forcing the Hornets into tough shots and turnovers down the stretch. Overall, it was a hard-fought victory for Denver as they continue to climb the standings in the Western Conference.

Next up, the Nuggets will look to carry this momentum into their next game and continue their winning streak. Keep an eye on this team as they look to make a push in the playoffs.

  • Nikola Jokic amasses triple-double, Nuggets come back in last minute to escape Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Salvaging this road trip was not easy for the Nuggets, but they got the job done at the last minute on two consecutive nights.

Trailing the Hornets by four with 52 seconds remaining, Denver ended the game on a 7-0 run to escape with a 107-104 victory Saturday and return home on a two-game winning streak. Nikola Jokic went for 28 points, 13 rebounds and 17 assists, scoring five points in the last 45 seconds after amassing eight in the final minute Friday night at Philadelphia.

“That team never quit. They kept on coming at us,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said. “Just proud of our group for not panicking.”

Christian Braun added 24 points and 11 assists on a night when the Nuggets (30-19) couldn’t buy a 3-pointer, finishing 7 for 37 as a team.

Malone used a timeout with 3:20 to go after Miles Bridges attacked a Jamal Murray switch to tie the game at 98, setting up another tense road ending. Denver had scored only eight points in the fourth quarter at that point.

With exactly two minutes left, Jokic thought he put Denver on top 102-100, but the Hornets challenged a goal-tending call, revealing that Jokic seemingly grazed the ball with his finger while it was over the cylinder first. The basket was eliminated, and Bridges scored the next four points. The Nuggets were in danger of a 1-4 road trip.

Jokic answered with a 3-point play. Then the Nuggets were able to get the ball out of Bridges’ hands when he targeted Murray again. CU alum KJ Simpson missed an open three, and Jokic was fouled 70 feet from the basket after securing the rebound. After is free throws gave Denver a one-point edge, Bridges rushed a bad shot, leading to a run-out layup for Murray.

The star guard disrupted Nick Smith Jr. on a game-tying 3-point attempt before time expired.

“We were trying to avoid the (Murray on Bridges) switch, because Bridges is so big and strong, when he gets downhill, he’s a load,” Malone said. “So we were trying to keep Aaron matched up to him, and you saw late in the game as we closed on that 7-0 run, Jamal was showing so we could keep Aaron matched up to him. Obviously, sometimes when you do put two on the ball, you’re going to give something up, and you have to rely on some fly-around mentality behind that.”

Russell Westbrook (left hamstring) and Peyton Watson (right knee) missed their first game of the season after they both limped to the bench with separate injuries Friday during the fourth quarter. Michael Malone did not express grave concern for either of them, but he wasn’t able to share specific return timelines, either.

“I think we’ll have a much better idea when we get back to Denver and after we … let the injuries calm down a little bit and then have our docs look at them,” he said. “I think Peyton just knocked knees a little bit last night.”

Their absences caused wrinkles to the rotation, some new and some old. Braun, two games removed from being benched to accommodate the Westbrook-Jokic two-man dynamic, was suddenly back in the starting five by default. The Nuggets were playing their opening-day starting lineup for the first time since Christmas.

“It’s funny,” Malone said. “I made the decision going into the Knicks game to take (Braun) out of the starting lineup, and here he is a few nights later, playing 38 minutes. … I felt that he was everywhere. He was attacking. He was shooting the 3-ball with confidence. He was guarding. I think tonight was a snapshot into all the different areas CB can help you win in.”

Without Watson, Zeke Nnaji checked in at the four next to Jokic and eventually shared the second-unit frontcourt with Aaron Gordon. It was Nnaji’s first time on the court for six or more minutes since Nov. 10, 2024, and he capitalized with five blocks. The 24-year-old was the most impactful defender perhaps for either team, guarding Bridges and handling switches effectively. As Charlotte was threatening in the fourth quarter, the Nuggets extended their lead to seven twice in a row with Nnaji buckets at the rim assisted by Gordon. He viciously blocked Josh Green with five minutes left to preserve a tie game.

In a thrilling game against the Charlotte Hornets, Nikola Jokic led the Denver Nuggets to a nail-biting victory with a last-minute comeback. Jokic put on a show, recording a triple-double with 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. His all-around dominance on the court was instrumental in the Nuggets’ late-game surge.

Despite trailing for most of the game, the Nuggets never gave up and managed to claw their way back in the final minutes. Jokic’s leadership and clutch play down the stretch helped secure the win for Denver, as they escaped Charlotte with a 110-108 victory.

This game was just another reminder of Jokic’s incredible talent and ability to take over in crucial moments. With him leading the way, the Nuggets look like a formidable force in the Western Conference this season.
