Bloodline member reacts to Omos winning a championship outside of WWE
Bloodline member and WWE Superstar Tonga Loa recently reacted to Omos winning the GHC Tag Team Championships at Pro Wrestling NOAH. At NOAH The New Year, he won the titles with Jack Morris.
In December 2024, the WWE Superstar was announced as the newest member of the Team 2000X faction. The group already consists of former WWE Superstar, Yoshitatsu, who alongside Daga, introduced him. At NOAH The New Year, the 30-year-old won his first title outside of the Stamford-based company.
After winning the GHC Tag Team Championships, Omos broke his silence on Instagram. His post caught Loa’s attention, who congratulated the newly crowned champion.
Check out a screenshot of Loa’s comment:
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues ‘spoiled’ and ‘narcissistic’ HERE.
Tonga Loa was last seen in action at the Men’s WarGames Match during the Survivor Series Premium Live Event. Unfortunately, the former WWE Tag Team Champion suffered an injury during the match and has been absent since.
Amid Loa’s absence, Bloodline leader Solo Sikoa has continued his feud with Roman Reigns. The two will lock horns on the January 6 edition of Monday Night RAW on Netflix.
The Undertaker praised WWE Superstar Omos
The Undertaker has spoken highly of Omos, stating the former RAW Tag Team Champion didn’t need to appear every week but could represent the Stamford-based company as a global ambassador.
Speaking on Six Feet Under w/Mark Calaway, The Deadman stated:
“I could see him coming in as a heel and then something happening and him being just an ultra, mega worldwide babyface. He doesn’t have to work every week. That’s the thing. He doesn’t have to work on TV every week. What he can do and is willing to do because he loves the industry and loves everything that comes with that, as an active competitor, he could be a global ambassador for the sport.”
With the 30-year-old superstar’s win in NOAH, he is expected to continue in Pro Wrestling NOAH, at least for the time being.

Break out the “New Year, New Me” memes for Omos. The Nigerian giant who’s been M.I.A. from WWE since last spring is back, and he’s already a champion.
On New Year’s Day in Tokyo, Omos teamed with Jack Morris at Pro Wrestling NOAH’s The New Year 2025. Together, they defeated Naomichi Marufuji & Takashi Sugiura to win the GHC Tag Team Titles. With the win, Omos became the first WWE superstar to win a championship outside of the company under the promotion’s new working relationship with NOAH.
“I am the best living giant. There’s nobody alive that’s better than me,” said Omos following his historic victory. He officially glossed himself as “The Super Megaweight,” adding, “Nobody can touch me. Nobody can see me.”

Until recently, no one had seen Omos since he last appeared in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania SmackDown last April. There, he was eliminated during the commercial break, as Bronson Reed went on to win the Andre. Before that, Omos was mostly featured on WWE’s live event loop. He also participated in the 2024 Royal Rumble match, where he was eliminated by Bron Breakker.
However, Omos’ future looks bright, as his arrival in NOAH should be seen as a positive by fans. As Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque revealed last year, part of WWE’s strategy is to work with promotions like NOAH to provide additional training to burgeoning talent. Last summer, NXT’s Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights competed in NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament, gaining valuable experience.
Omos, a former Raw Tag Team Champion with AJ Styles, will hopefully return from Japan as a much more polished performer. At just 30 years old, Omos could become a future attraction. In the past, he received huge praise from the Undertaker, who likened him to Andre the Giant in 2021.
“There will never be another Andre. But this guy is as close as we’ve come. I mean, and that’s a big statement… but he’s special, almost as special,” said the Undertaker.
Omos, the towering WWE superstar, recently made history in Japan by winning the title in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Standing at an impressive 7 feet tall, Omos dominated his opponents with his sheer size and strength, capturing the hearts of fans across the country. His victory marks a significant milestone in his wrestling career, as he becomes the first foreign wrestler to win the title in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Omos’ impressive performance in the ring has solidified his status as a force to be reckoned with in the world of professional wrestling.
Fans and critics alike are eagerly anticipating Omos’ future matches in Pro Wrestling NOAH, as he continues to prove himself as a formidable competitor. Congratulations to Omos on this historic achievement!
