Got my first tablet when I was 12, a Wacom, was expensive. Then wanted a cintiq, $1000 was too much.. found Huion, got their larger model size a long time ago, then upgraded to a huion 1080+ pro, I still use it at home for larger projects- that was only $300-$400 and the quality and build is amazing.Needed something more lightweight, portable so I saw this and decided to buy it. I also got a MacBook Air I saw on sale, decided to pair these 2 together and it’s great! I use clip studio paint the older version. Beginner, pro, it doesn’t matter, it will get the job done, plug and play easy, download the right driver and you’re golden. The buttons all work and the flow is 10/10 for me.Now that im older I don’t care about name brand stuff, it genuinely relies on you as an artist to use the tools you have in the budget you want. Thank you huion you always gonna be my go to brand for tablets
Gift for the holiday for son and he was able to install himself and use within minutes. Works great and has great capabilities to help young people to learn and grow in the world of animation. Would buy again.
Okay, I will start off by stating that I am not a professional graphic artist so don't expect an especially artistic bent to this review. I am an avid photographer and have worked in the creative arts my entire career. I love digital photography and the ability to manipulate photos after the fact.
The ability to control light and shadows, exposure, midtones, saturation, etc. and being able to control tiny areas of the photograph are all things that I manipulate in the digital darkroom. In order to really work well with masks and feathering to control the effects it really helps to have a tablet and pen. For years I have been using a Wacom Bamboo tablet and pen. They were great for entry level work and for experimenting to see if a tablet was really going to be the tool of choice for me.
Well, recently, I built a new PC and the software that I use for photography was upgraded. The response of the Wacom tablet and pen had become unpredictable and disappointing. Wacom no longer had new drivers for the Bamboo tablet line that worked well with Windows 10, so I went on Amazon to see what the latest crop of tablets was like. I didn't want to spend a ton of money since I don't make my living doing this. After reviewing several of the tablets there were just a few criteria that were important to me: The size of the tablet, the number of customizable buttons and their layout, and a pen that didn't require a battery or recharging.
I was intrigued by some tablets that were wireless and would allow me to avoid worrying about cords dangling around the keyboard. But after considering how I use my pen and tablet, I realized that I didn't need a wireless version. I had used a Huion tablet before and had been relatively pleased with how it works (it is still at my desk at work where I use it on occasion). But this H640P looked particularly intriguing and the price was certainly appealing.
I hooked it up for the first time today and I can tell that Huion has made great leaps forward in the design and function of their tablets. This one is FANTASTIC for what I need it to do. It is SMOOTH and responsive. I have customized the tablet buttons and layout a few times and think I have it roughly where I want it. Using the pen as a digital brush has become a true joy. Having used Wacoms on Macs at work I can tell you that the response and ease of use on my PC with this new tablet feels just as good. I am so impressed with the ease of use I am looking for additional photos to play with!
The size of the tablet is great and I can shift it on and off of my lap easily. I keep it right near my keyboard and mouse (yes, there are some things I like to do that require a mouse) for easy access. The tablet is very lightweight yet solid. The nib of the pen glides on this surface. The pressure sensitivity of the pen is fully adjustable in the driver software and I couldn't be happier with how that function works. It has more than 8000 levels of pressure sensitivity allowing me to manipulate the size of the brush on the fly. If I want to expand my brush I just press a bit harder and watch the cursor expand and contract as I press harder or softer.
And price is $50.00!!! This thing is a STEAL at this price. If you are on the fence and you have the money to spend (and with Amazon's return efficiency should you decide this tablet isn't right for you) you should DEFINITELY LOOK HARD at this model. I am very pleased with my choice and look forward to a long relationship with my new Huion Inspiroy tablet.
So, for this review to help your purchase, you need to check these boxes.
– Do you plan to use the full area of this tablet? (if not, look at something like the H430, it's cheaper, and smaller. have used it before, works about the same.) – Are you on Windows? (7, 8, 10, 11, all works about the same) – Are you ok with the hassle of downloading alternate drivers?
If you answered yes to these questions, then this review is for you. Let's get into it.
So, all things considered, this thing is great! Pen pressure works, full area is great, very responsive, just all in all a good price to performance tablet. Now, thats about all good things I have to say. In to the nitty gritty we go…
The drivers suck, and they suck bad. Things have obviously been google translated and it shows. It "works" well enough for people just giving things a try, but if you are sticking with this tablet in the long run, the driver experience just isn't there. A fix for this is OpenTabletDriver. Primarily, this is used by osu! players, however it has been optimized for most drawing softwares out of the box. Paint.net, Photoshop, Krita, you name it. But – this isn't an advertisement on the fratures of OpenTabletDriver, so do your own research and see if it's right for you.
Moving along, the nibs wear down easily compared to other tablets. It isn't exactly the worst problem, as it still takes a LONG time to get through them all, but having to pay 20$ every so often (maybe about a year with heavy use in my experience) it isnt really ideal. But, hey, at least it comes with replacements… (cough cough gaomon cough cough)
Also – for the osu! players out there. Just get the H430. I promise you, you will not be using the full area of this tablet. Thank me later.
Anyways, I'll stop writing now. Hopefully this helps someone!
I'm a professional photographer and use a tablet daily. I needed to replace the small one that I had been using and decided to go with this. I'm glad I did. It works great, and it's very responsive. I'm on a MacBook Pro M1, and have had no issues with the driver or functionality. Every once in a while if I am using a second monitor, I have to go in and change the active area to the second monitor, but it's easy to make the switch and once I do it stays there. The pen is comfortable and easy to grip. The tilt and active pressure functions are very responsive and flow naturally. My only regret is that I didn't go for the Bluetooth / wireless version. I have to connect using a USB-C port. So I might get a dock and leave it connected. That way I don't have to keep plugging it in every time I want to use it. Overall, I think it's a great upgrade to the small one I previously had, and I am very happy to have and use this one. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet that won't break your bank.
This was my first digital drawing tablet and I have to say I'm blown away. I got the H950P, it comes with Android device adapters, tablet cable, extra pen nibs, pen stand, a pen that doesn't need to be charged which has 2 keys of its own, and the tablet which has 8 mappable keys. I use Krita as my main drawing application and managed to pick it up within half an hour. The tilt support is awesome, it's a good sensitivity to pressure, and the working space is big enough to be comfortable. I would recommend getting a glove with it or putting some fabric under your hand for cleaner lines (so your hand doesn't stick to it) but other than that the whole thing is awesome. It was also incredibly easy to setup and map the keys. Definitely recommend.

What kind of house does he live in? What cars does he own? What luxury items does he have?
Let’s first begin with where Ryan Day spends his time off from the field. And that’s right at home in his $2M estate in Wingate Dr, Delaware with his loving wife Nina and their three kids. While some college football HCs are open about their material possessions, particularly Colorado’s Deion Sanders, who boasts luxury cars, jewelry, and a popular Nike sneakers line, Ryan Day is the opposite. This 45-year-old keeps his luxurious lifestyle pretty private. Sure, everyone knows about his multi-million dollar mansion and that sweet car deal, but when it comes to his watches, jewelry, and other fancy stuff, he’s all about keeping things hush-hush. You might never know what kind of bling he’s rocking behind closed doors. But what we know is that this guy is one of the richest coaches in college football.
Exploring Ryan Day’s earnings and net worth
Ryan Day’s successful 69-10 record in Columbus landed him a seven-year contract extension that extends till 2028. He earns an annual salary of $10.2 million as the fifth-highest-paid coach in college football. Per Front Office Sports, Day sitsbehind Georgia KirbySmart, Clemson’s Dabo Swinney, Texas’s SteveSarkisian, and USC Lincoln Riley as of January 2025. And that’s not all.

Ryan Day also gets $5.69 million per year for promotions, media, and PR duties. OSU also pays him a $1M retention bonus each year. The trip to the CFP also added to his income. Day received a playoff bonus of $350,000 for reaching the semifinals. And if he wins the National Championship game against Notre Dame, he’ll be adding a whopping $1 million bonus to his current $66.5 million net worth.
Such is the income of the head coach of one of the most prestigious college football programs. Despite the lack of information, there’s no doubt that Ryan Day is living his best life with his family as Ohio State’s HC.

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Junior forward Michael Rataj is the last of Oregon State’s impressive 2022 recruiting class still wearing a Beavers uniform.
The German native arrived at OSU with Tyler Bilodeau (transferred to UCLA after last season), Jordan Pope (Texas), KC Ibekwe (Washington), Gonzaga Prep grad Jayden Stevens (Idaho), Nick Krass (Tarleton State) and Donovan Grant (walk-on at Georgetown last season).
Rataj, a native of Germany, stayed with the Beavers, even after a difficult start to his sophomore season. He had a tumor removed from his shin and missed most of preseason preparations and the first three games.
“He was never really 100% mentally or physically,” OSU coach Wayne Tinkle said. “The guys he came in with, the big freshmen class all bolted. He came in (last spring) and said, ‘Listen coach, we all came here because of what you guys sold us on, the way you run the program. I’m not losing sight of that, I’m on board.’
“We said, ‘OK, you’re going to be the guy we rebuild around.’ There were some days we only had five, six guys here in spring, but we promised him we were going to add talent, experience and maturity.”
Rataj and Tinkle kept their word, with the coach bringing in key transfers and the player making a big jump on the court.
The 6-foot-9, 220-pound native of Germany has doubled his scoring average (from 8.3 to 16.6 points) and his stats have improved across the board.
Rataj, pronounced Rah-tye, has posted All-West Coast Conference numbers . He’s third in the WCC in scoring, second in rebounding (8.5), ninth in field-goal percentage (48.3) and No. 1 in steals (2.1).
He ranks in the top 13 in free-throw percentage (80) and blocks (team-leading 13). He’s second at 2.5 assists per game and first in minutes (31.2) for the Beavers.
“We saw the light click when the players came back in mid-September. He was back to being a healthy Mike and he went to work on his body and game,” Tinkle said. “We gave him the keys to the bus, along with (Southern Illinois University Edwardsville transfer point guard) Damarco Minor. He’s really hit his stride here recently.”
Rataj has averaged 19.2 points and 4.4 assists over the past five games, including a career-high 28 points on 12-of-15 shooting from the field against Portland. He scores in a variety of ways, including 20 3-pointers, already a career high, as well as a career-best 52.8% accuracy on shots inside the arc. He’s gone from 59.6% at the foul line as a freshman to 80.0% as a junior. He’s made 68 free throws in 18 games, compared to 73 in 61 games the previous two years.
Rataj’s eight double-doubles are tied for eighth nationally. Gonzaga’s Ryan Nembhard has seven double-doubles, tied for 19th.
Rataj also has extensive experience playing with German junior national teams, including serving as captain and averaging 11.6 point at the 2023 FIBA European U20 Championships.
Gonzaga senior forward Ben Gregg will likely draw the defensive assignment on Rataj with Graham Ike (6-9, 250) guarding OSU’s Parsa Fallah (6-9, 260).
Michael Ajayi figures to be GU’s next option on Rataj, who had 15 points, nine boards and five assists in Oregon State’s 91-55 road win Saturday over Pacific, two days after the Tigers edged Washington State in overtime in Pullman.
In his junior season at Ohio State University, forward Michael Rataj has been a standout player for the Buckeyes, leading the team in scoring and rebounding. Despite receiving interest from other programs, Rataj decided to stay put at OSU and has thrived in his decision.
Rataj’s decision to remain at Ohio State has been a key factor in the team’s success this season, as he has been a consistent scoring threat and a force on the boards. His ability to score inside and outside has made him a matchup nightmare for opposing teams, and his leadership on and off the court has been invaluable to the team.
In an upcoming matchup against a tough conference rival, Rataj will face off against one of the top forwards in the league. This key matchup will test Rataj’s skills and determination as he looks to help lead his team to victory.
Be sure to tune in to see Michael Rataj and the Ohio State Buckeyes take on their conference rival in what promises to be an exciting and competitive game. Don’t miss out on this key matchup between two talented forwards as they battle it out on the court.

TAMPA, Fla. — With his back to Jesuit High School’s Alumni Field, standing in his signature cutoff T-shirt and sunglasses, Michigan football defensive coordinator Wink Martindale made sure to thank a reporter for a question.
Saturday marked four weeks to the day since the Wolverines‘ 13-10 upset victory over then-No. 2 Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio but it was the first time Martindale had a chance to talk about his unit’s masterpiece since that day.
“I’m so glad (you asked),” Martindale joked, after he’d answered a few questions about the Wolverines’ preparations for Tuesday’s ReliaQuest Bowl. “We were really confident in the game plan. The heart of the message all week was, ‘Take ’em to the deep end in the fourth quarter.’ And then we knew we could take over the game defensively. … We just physically outplayed them. When your best players are playing their best, that’s when you have a lot of success.
“We felt good going into the game of how we were going to attack them, and give them some different looks they weren’t used to, and when they started getting used to it, we went to a different look. And it kept them guessing (and) reaching the entire game.”
The victory sent the OSU fanbase into a tailspin. Much of that happened because Martindale’s unit limited the Buckeyes to season lows in points (10), yards (252) and first downs (16).
Of course, the Buckeyes’ next performance gave a boost to the standard set by U-M, as Ohio State hammered Tennessee by 25 points in Columbus to open the College Football Playoff.
“(The Buckeyes) have a very talented group,” Martindale said Saturday. “It was just our day that day and I’m glad we had it.”
Although Michigan’s crowning moment came in Columbus, the Wolverines had been surging for a month beforehand.
The Wolverines have allowed just one touchdowns in their past 12 quarters and just two in the past 14, dating back to the third and fourth quarters on Nov. 2 against No. 1 Oregon. That’s when, in Martindale’s mind, he felt his unit truly start to click.
“Probably the second half of Oregon and I think it just kept building,” Martindale reflected. “Indiana, I thought we played really well. They have 18 yards in the second half. But the thing that the players finally realized was when you hit a quarterback like we were hitting quarterbacks — Northwestern, Indiana — those quarterbacks, once they start getting hit, they’re a different quarterback. And I think that that was one of the biggest lessons defensively that they learned.”
There’s no doubt the finish to the regular season changed the lens through which the year will be viewed. In mid-November, when U-M was sitting at 5-5, the possibility of missing a bowl game and a loss to Ohio State felt imminent. Even during OSU week, the Wolverines were three-TD underdogs.
Not that Martindale could acknowledge that.
“That’d probably be illegal if I looked at the spread,” Martindale quipped Saturday. “But that’s what I heard.”
Instead, the Wolverines got their fourth consecutive win over OSU for the first time in more than three decades. It capped a regular season that, despite its disappointments, saw wins over both rivals (Michigan State and OSU) as well as victories in two other trophy games, against Minnesota (Little Brown Jug) and Northwestern (the George Jewett Trophy).
Martindale said 2024 is a year he won’t soon forget.
“It was one of the most rewarding experiences that I’ve had personally in coaching just because of where we came from,” he said. “So I think that the future is bright, and I’m looking forward to it.”
Crippen to return for fifth year
A few hours after linebacker Ernest Hausmann announced his return officially, Saturday morning at practice, center Greg Crippen posted online that he would return to Ann Arbor for a fifth season.
“I will be coming back to Michigan next year to help bring home another National Championship,” Crippen posted on social media. “Being a Michigan man is about loyalty, brotherhood, and excellence. I’m committed to this team, to this University, and to leaving everything on the field every single day.”
Dominick Giudice, a converted defensive lineman, won the starting center job out of fall camp and started the first five games. But Crippen — who came to Michigan as a four-star recruit out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida — took over the starting job for the final seven games this season.
Giudice has since transferred to Missouri while Crippen is now one of four offensive linemen with starting experience expected to return for the Wolverines; joining would-be sixth-year tackle Jeff Persi, fifth-year Giovanni El-Hadi and redshirt sophomore Evan Link.
Michigan will lose more than 70 games of experience with the departures of Myles Hinton and Josh Priebe, so the return of the 6-foot-4, 309-pound offensive lineman with 27 games played is much needed for Grant Newsome’s group.

The Michigan football defense showcased defensive coordinator Wink Martindale’s potential against Ohio State in their recent matchup. Despite the Wolverines falling to the Buckeyes, the defense displayed an aggressive and disruptive style of play that kept them in the game for much of the contest.
Martindale’s aggressive play-calling and creative blitz packages were on full display as Michigan consistently pressured Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud and forced turnovers. The defense also did a solid job of limiting big plays and keeping the Buckeyes’ high-powered offense in check for much of the game.
While the Wolverines ultimately fell short, the performance of the defense under Martindale’s leadership showed the potential for this unit to be a force to be reckoned with in the future. With continued development and execution, Michigan’s defense could become one of the best in the country under Martindale’s guidance.
Overall, the Michigan football defense’s performance against Ohio State showcased Wink Martindale’s ceiling as a defensive coordinator and provided hope for the future of the program. With continued growth and improvement, the Wolverines’ defense could become a dominant force in college football.
