  • Cobra Kai season 6 sneak peek reveals look at final episodes

Every battle has led to this. Netflix drops a sneak peek at the final episodes of Cobra Kai season 6, which will premiere next month.

Netflix’s Cobra Kai will end in two weeks after six seasons, and the streaming service has released a new sneak peek clip from the final five episodes. They also dropped a few new photos, which you can check out below!

The synopsis for the final episodes reads: “After a shocking result in the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai must reckon with their pasts while facing an uncertain future both on and off the mat. Almost 40 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, it’s all been leading to this.

I’ll admit to turning up my nose at the series’ concept when it was first announced. A Karate Kid spinoff series on YouTube? Nah. Imagine my surprise when the series not only turned out to be great but kept raising the bar season after season.

Although Cobra Kai is coming to an end, it won’t be the last we see of Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso. He’s set to reprise the role in Karate Kid: Legends, where he will star alongside the one and only Jackie Chan. “After a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) is uprooted from his home in Beijing and forced to move to New York City with his mother,” reads the official synopsis. “Li struggles to let go of his past as he tries to fit in with his new classmates, and although he doesn’t want to fight, trouble seems to find him everywhere. When a new friend needs his help, Li enters a karate competition – but his skills alone aren’t enough. Li’s kung fu teacher Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) enlists original Karate Kid Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) for help, and Li learns a new way to fight, merging their two styles into one for the ultimate martial arts showdown.Karate Kid: Legends will hit theaters on May 30, 2025.

Cobra Kai creators Hayden Schlossberg, Josh Heald, and Jon Hurwitz have also been considering more spinoffs, including a prequel series centered on Mr. Miyagi. However, nothing is official.

The final five episodes of Cobra Kai season 6 will debut on Netflix on February 13th.

  • ‘Cobra Kai’ Returns Home For Final Episodes With New Images and a Sneak Peek

Fans of Cobra Kai were dreading this moment, and Netflix even spread out Season 6 in three parts in order for us to stick to Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and his pupils for a while longer. But there’s no escaping it. In just a couple of weeks, the final episodes of the show will drop on the streamer, and today the streaming giant unveiled some first-look images and a sneak peek, so we can start preparing our hearts to say “strike first, strike hard” one last time.

The images make it clear that Cobra Kai won’t shy away from emotional moments in its final episodes. One of them features LaRusso face to face with his daughter Sam (Mary Mouser) getting ready to practice a little in the Miyagi-Do. The images also bring the cast back to All Valley after an intense competition in the Sekai Taikai, which is appropriate for the series’ end. In order to put together an emotional wrap-up, we will have to go back to the series’ roots and maybe even travel back in time to when LaRusso himself was a student.

To fans’ excitement — or disappointment, depending on how you look at it — Cobra Kai‘s co-creator Hayden Schlossberg already revealed to TV Insider that “there is no big cliffhanger at the end of the last five episodes.” So, if you were waiting for a hint at possible spin-offs or a surprise reveal, it’s time to let go. Schlossberg also guaranteed that all questions will get answered, all mysteries will get solved and all the characters will reach their full arcs, and that the final episodes are designed to be a celebration of the show’s “thrilling” and “fulfilling” six-season run.

Okay, But What About ‘Karate Kid: Legends’?

As you probably know by now, Ralph Macchio is in the main cast of Karate Kid: Legends along with Jackie Chan (Rush Hour). Even though the upcoming movie is not a direct sequel to Cobra Kai, the series will be acknowledged. LaRusso has been through a big transformation in Cobra Kai, so knowing that will help viewers understand his characters’ motivations and state of mind. However, so far, there has been no evidence of more Cobra Kai characters popping up in Karate Kid: Legends or that the story of the series will influence the blockbuster movie in any way.

Despite the farewell atmosphere, there is still a lot to be unpacked in Cobra Kai. We still have to find out the aftermath of Kwon’s (Brandon H. Lee) death at Sekai Taikai and what it will mean for karate fighters across the world, as well as what will happen with Sam, Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) and Axel (Patrick Luwis). Last but certainly not least, will Kreese finally get a redemption arc — this time for real?

Netflix debuts the final five episodes of Cobra Kai on February 13. You can check out the sneak peek below and the images above:

  • Assassin’s Creed Shadows Hands-On: A Sneak(ing) Peek at Ninja Fights and Samurai Brawls

After years of fan outcry, the beloved Assassin’s Creed series will finally have an entry set in feudal Japan with this year’s installment, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. I saw a hands-off preview last fall at Germany’s Gamescom, but then the game was delayed from its original November release date to Feb. 14 (and then delayed again to March 20) of this year. I got my first hands-on time with the game alongside other journalists, marking a big moment for a game with a lot of expectation and hype.

My hands-on preview was split into two parts: an hour-long session exploring the game’s prologue with around another three hours in the later game. While I’m unsure how deep into the game I was, my characters were both now level 25 with some legendary armor, and a lot more abilities unlocked.

Set in 1579, the game takes a dual-protagonist approach, which is new to the series. Unlike in 2018’s Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and 2020’s Valhalla, games where you choose a main character from one of two character options, Shadows has you play as a team of characters throughout the game. Ubisoft refers to this dynamic as a “stealth and fight” approach to the game wherein characters’ different abilities define how you’ll progress through areas.

Each character plays differently but can be used for any missions, and swapped between at many points. The first character is Yasuke, a powerful Black samurai brought to Japan as a Portuguese slave. His large build and heavy armor makes him a great choice for any missions where you plan to charge straight through the front door and fight your way to the end. If you prefer killing silently from rooftops and shadows, Naoe is your protagonist of choice: a Japanese ninja who prioritizes stealth and maneuverability.

Many missions will give you the option of who to begin as and, except for a few instances, you’ll have to stick to that choice until completion. This means you won’t be able to start a quest playing as Naoe, sneaking around and trying to assassinate enemies, but then switch immediately to Yasuke when you become spotted and are surrounded by foes. (When you’re free-roaming areas outside of missions, you can swap by simply pausing the game and holding X.)

    Ubisoft

With that said, both characters can hold their own in the opposite play style, it’ll just be much harder. Typically, Assassin’s Creed characters of the past would be able to do both play styles just fine, so it’s an interesting choice to split playstyle strengths between two protagonists and force the player to weigh their odds compared to the playstyle they prefer.

This contrast came into play heavily in the final mission we played where our heroes had to storm a castle and fight a corrupt lord within. I initially started this mission as Yasuke but found that fighting through the front gate was just too challenging. After a failed attempt, I switched to Naoe and quickly scaled a wall (something Yasuke cannot do) and avoided fighting all together. What would have taken me probably 20 minutes of brawler fighting and used up all my health regen items was now bypassed stealthily in two minutes without any hassle.

    Ubisoft

However, as the mission proceeded, I now had to fight my way through the halls inside to the boss up top. Instead of trying to sneak my way down these narrow corridors full of enemies, I switched to Yasuke and fought them head on. It was a fun change of pace.

At this point in the game I had two of Yasuke’s abilities unlocked for me, which are used by holding down RT and pressing one of the controller’s face buttons (similar to previous character action games, such as Spider-Man). The first ability was a very cool, lightning-fast dashing slash that caused the screen to go black and white for a second while I made contact with the enemy, while the second was a massive, powerful kick that would send my opponent comically far through the air. I loved using both and used them often to carve through groups of enemies.

Both characters can also call in support Allies to help during missions, which act like fighting game assists to help in tough situations. These Allies can be managed, equipped and upgraded back at your base, and are used as distractions while trying to sneak around or even help when you’re up against several enemies at once. There were two I had available to use: a powerful woman who specialized in pushing and knocking back her opponents as well as a stealthier guy who would try to one-shot the target and then use a smoke bomb to retreat.

    Yasuke’s Charging Dash attack.

    Ubisoft

Another form of support is Scouts, which come into play when you’re trying to locate more information about your mission. Ubisoft says they’ve taken a “guide, don’t tell” approach to the quests in Shadows; subsequently, several of my missions didn’t come with a marker on my map to head toward. Instead, it would give me hints of the area or building I should explore to learn more. During my preview I had access to five Scouts (and it was unclear how I might get more) that I could set down anywhere on the map, and they would reveal points of interest. Pairing the hints and the Scouts together should reveal the waypoint for me to move toward to proceed with my quest.

From there you can head to your objective or press left on the D-pad to turn on the pathfinder, a translucent line that will direct you like a GPS. However, the game will not hold your hand for every objective. There is a major emphasis on Observing: Holding the left trigger will cause your character to focus and the camera will zoom in slightly. This will allow you to highlight enemies (which reveals their health and makes them visible through walls), and it also points out loot to collect or objectives you’re searching for. It’s evident early on that rushing in blind to these missions will make things much harder than if you find a vantage point and survey the area first (another reason why I often preferred starting a mission with Naoe).

Spend some time making a fancy little hideout fo your samurais and ninjas.

    Ubisoft

During my preview, I didn’t get a good sense of the overarching story these characters are working their way through. The prologue suggested some motivation for their team-up, but the big mystery box was left concealed. However, longtime Assassin’s Creed fans will be wondering if the Animus, a narrative device that allows modern day humans to revisit and play as their heroic ancestors of the past in these whimsical eras, is returning. In short, yes it does — in something called Animus Ego. Unfortunately, we got very little time with this meta-story component, but I can tell you that, once again, there’s hackers and glitches and something sinister going on behind the scenes of the seemingly picturesque Animus project.

I’m extremely excited to play more of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. As someone who loves Ghost of Tsushima, the feudal Japan setting easily excites me. The wait isn’t that long either as the game comes out for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on March 30.

Watch this: Everything We Expect in Gaming in 2025

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Hands-On: A Sneak(ing) Peek at Ninja Fights and Samurai Brawls

Get ready to unleash your inner ninja and samurai in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows game! I recently had the opportunity to get a hands-on experience with the game, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

The game takes place in feudal Japan, where you play as a skilled assassin who must navigate through the shadows to take down your enemies. The attention to detail in the game is truly impressive, from the beautiful cherry blossom trees to the intricately designed temples.

One of the standout features of the game is the combat system, which allows you to seamlessly switch between stealthy ninja moves and powerful samurai brawls. Whether you prefer to silently take out your enemies from the shadows or engage in intense sword fights, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has something for everyone.

The AI in the game is also incredibly smart, making it challenging to sneak past guards and take down targets without being detected. It truly feels like you are a master assassin, using your wit and skills to outsmart your enemies.

Overall, Assassin’s Creed Shadows promises to be an exciting and immersive experience for fans of the series. I can’t wait to dive back into the world of feudal Japan and uncover the mysteries that await. Be sure to keep an eye out for this game when it releases, as it is sure to be a must-play for any stealth-action enthusiast.

  • Watch The Night Agent Season 2 Premiere Sneak Peek

The last time The Night Agent fans saw Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), his trustworthy companion Rose (Luciane Buchanan) was by his side. In the Season 2 premiere, however, Peter is sharing a romantic stroll with someone else: newcomer Alice, played by Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow.

Like so many of the twists and turns in The Night Agent — which returns on Jan. 23 — things aren’t what they seem. Alice isn’t Peter’s love interest. She’s his new mentor and partner in the high stakes Night Agent program.

The Night Agent creator Shawn Ryan hopes Snow’s natural charm helps viewers “build an instant connection” with the new character. “So even when you’re like, ‘Well, wait a second, who’s this woman holding hands with Peter? Where’s Rose?’ You still don’t hate her,” he tells Tudum. “You might not think ‘Brittany Snow’ when you think of a spy thriller series, but I knew she could do it. And she was really game.”

Snow needed to be game to jump right into the action of The Night Agent Season 2. As seen in the clip above, Alice and Peter’s mission takes a turn toward the dangerous as the pair stroll through Bangkok, Thailand, while tracking the inscrutable Warren (Teddy Sears), a high-level American intelligence officer, who they suspect is behind a major intelligence leak. Alice and Peter’s investigation quickly puts them face-to-face — and weapon-to-weapon — with some very dangerous individuals.

After ending Season 1 with the promise of Peter’s Night Agent career, writer and executive producer Ryan wanted to drop viewers directly into the adrenaline-spiking drama they expect from the series. “I didn’t want to waste too much time with Peter training to be a Night Agent,” he explains. “What I wanted was a feeling that Peter is not at home. Peter is out of his element — and is the stranger in a new land.”

Basso says it was “awesome” to explore Peter’s new position in such a totally new location. “I think Peter’s trying to find his footing in this new world he’s living in,” Basso says to Tudum. “He hasn’t had time to adjust.” Season 2 picks up about nine months following the harrowing events of the Season 1 finale, which saw Peter save President Michelle Travers’ life. He was offered a role in Night Action for his heroism.

“Peter was thrown right from the Camp David incident into training. Then on top of that, he’s thrown into the field,” Basso says. “He’s just not getting an inhale moment — a moment to acclimate.”

Well, it doesn’t seem like Peter will be taking a breather anytime soon. By the end of the premiere clip, Peter is surrounded by gun-wielding enemies as he runs through the streets of Bangkok at full speed. How will he find his way out of this latest espionage crisis? Will Alice be able to save him? And, what would Rose think about Peter’s latest adventure? To find out, you’ll have to tune into The Night Agent Season 2 when it premieres on Jan. 23.

And, for even more The Night Agent debriefs, keep coming back to Tudum

  • Maggie Is Grounded in a Sneak Peek of Tonight’s ‘Going Dutch’ [Exclusive]

Denis Leary is laying down the family and military law in a preview clip from tonight’s episode of Going Dutch. “CIA,” the third episode of Fox’s new military sitcom, will air tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET. it will then stream on Hulu tomorrow.

In the clip, Colonel Patrick Quinn (Leary) forbids his daughter (and subordinate) Captain Maggie Quinn (Taylor Misiak) from seeing her on-and-off paramour, CIA agent Rick (guest star Parker Young), on account of his mistrust of the intelligence agency. She argues that she is a grown woman, and that his years of absentee parenthood prevent him from laying down those decrees, anyway. While this is true, he is still her superior – thus, he cancels her leave due to a definitely-made-up laundry emergency. She then storms off, claiming that he’s ruining her life – but we haven’t seen the last of her and Rick’s romance.

    What Is ‘Going Dutch’ About?

Going Dutch takes place at Garrison Stroopsdorf in the Netherlands, the least-important US military base on Earth. Colonel Quinn has been reassigned there by his longtime nemesis, General Davidson (Joe Morton, Scandal) after one of his profane rants against the brass gets caught on tape. He finds it to be the exact opposite of everything he wants out of a command: the personnel are out-of-shape and complacent, and the weapons are in storage with the Christmas decorations. However, it does boast a gourmet commissary, a top-notch fromagerie, and a bowling alley. He resolves to whip it into shape, with the help of his efficient aide-de-camp Abraham Shaw (Danny Pudi, Community), devious logistics officer Dana Conway (Laci Mosley, Florida Girls), hapless IT director Elias Papadakis (Hal Cumpston, The Walking Dead: World Beyond), and enthusiastic but inept soldier Anthony “BA” Chapman (Dempsey Bryk, Willow). However, Quinn does take an interest in one of the locals – Dr. Katja Vanderhoff (Catherine Tate, Doctor Who), the head of the local chamber of commerce and an advocate for sex workers.

Guest star Parker Young has a history of military roles. He starred in the Fox sitcom Enlisted, which was the network’s last military-set sitcom before Going Dutch, and starred on two seasons of United States of Al, a sitcom where he played a Marine veteran who returned to Ohio with his Afghan interpreter.

“CIA,” the third episode of Going Dutch, will air tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET on Fox; it will stream the next day on Hulu. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates, and watch the preview clip below.

    03226213_poster_w780.jpg

After an epically unfiltered rant, an arrogant, loudmouth U.S. Army Colonel is reassigned to the Netherlands, where he is punished with a command position at the least important army base in the world. After serving with distinction in every warzone of the last three decades, he now finds himself in charge of a base with no guns, no weapons and no tactical purpose. Instead, it has a Michelin-star-level commissary, a top-notch bowling alley and the best (and only) fromagerie in the U.S. Army. Surrounded by a diverse group of underdogs, the colonel tries to reinstall military discipline and professionalism with the help of the base’s previous interim leader, who just happens to be his estranged daughter.

  • Chris Estrada Tries To Be Selenis Leyva’s Bad Boy in ‘Lopez vs. Lopez’ Season 3 Sneak Peek [Exclusive]

Love is in the air for Rosie (Selenis Leyva) on this week’s episode of Lopez vs. Lopez, but it may not all be sunshine and rainbows. Collider can exclusively share a new sneak peek at the upcoming Season 3 installment, titled “Lopez vs. Memories,” in which Mayan’s (Mayan Lopez) mom and George’s (George Lopez) ex-wife tries to get back into dating. For once, she’s found a genuinely nice guy who also happens to be Quinten’s (Matt Shively) boss, played by comedian Chris Estrada. However, the blossoming relationship leaves both Mayan and Quinten feeling uneasy and the footage sees the latter trying his best to coach him into being a bad boy for Rosie, with laughable results.

Roberto (Estrada) enters the scene dressed in a leather jacket and a gold chain, looking like “a guy who has a naked woman painted on the hood of his car.” Not unlike Estrada’s mild-mannered main character in his Hulu series This Fool, he’s not that kind of person, but Quinten pushes his boss to lean into his dangerous side. That’s easier said than done though, considering the most dangerous thing Roberto has done was play percussion lieutenant in the marching band. Nonetheless, they roll up to the double date with Rosie and Maya ready to present him in a new light, only for him to immediately show his dorky side with the old bouquet-in-the-sleeve magic trick. The cringe keeps on coming when he tries to save it by saying he’s a Magic Castle certified illusionist “in the streets and in the sheets,” and that his other hobby, D&D, actually stands for “Drunk and Disorderly.”

Judging from Rosie’s confused and concerned expression and shared looks with Mayan, Roberto does not make the best of impressions during their date. He and Quinten may have some work to do to make him a more suitable suitor for the Lopez family matriarch than her past beaus, but the bad boy mentality is a clear swing and a miss. Estrada is the perfect fit for this role after spending two seasons on This Fool playing the well-meaning Julio Lopez, a 30-year-old still in his parents’ home and spending more time on charity than himself. Lopez vs. Lopez will mark his first live-action appearance on the small screen since his Los Angeles-centric comedy series ended in 2023, though he’s also previously provided his voice to Disney’s Hamster and Gretel and Freeform’s Praise Petey.

What Else Is Happening in the Latest Episode of ‘Lopez vs. Lopez’ Season 3?

While everyone else is focused on Rosie and Roberto this week, George has troubles of his own at home. The elder Lopez is forced to face painful memories to recover the lost home videos of Mayan when she was young. Lopez vs. Lopez has always been focused on the relationship and generational strain between the father and daughter at its heart, and “Lopez vs. Memories” has the chance to be an emotional episode that directly confronts George’s past mistakes. The series’s warmness is part of the reason why it’s still going strong for NBC into Season 3, yet there’s still plenty more to come. After tonight’s episode, only three episodes remain with the finale on February 7 welcoming Saved By the Bell star Mario Lopez for an episode bound to bring laughs and a bit of jealousy from George.

Lopez vs. Lopez Season 3, Episode 11 premieres on NBC tonight at 8:30 p.m. Check out our exclusive sneak peek in the player above.

  • Rebecca Ferguson Finally Discovers She’s Not Alone in Shocking ‘Silo’ Season 2 Sneak Peek [Exclusive]

Rebecca Ferguson Finally Discovers She’s Not Alone in Shocking ‘Silo’ Season 2 Sneak Peek [Exclusive]

After something of a two-hander for much of Silo Season 2, with Rebecca Ferguson and Steve Zahn keeping each other company in the other silo, it looks like Ferguson’s Juliette is finally no longer by herself if this first look at Episode 8 is anything to go by. Collider is thrilled to bring an exclusive sneak peek at one of our favorite series to our readers, and in it, we see Ferguson’s Juliette having lost track of Zahn’s “Solo,” but encountering a new threat she hasn’t yet faced. What happens next is not for the faint of heart.

Silo follows the lives of the last ten thousand people on Earth, residing in a mile-deep underground structure designed to shield them from the toxic and lethal world above. The origins and purpose of the silo remain a mystery, and those who dare to uncover the truth face deadly consequences. Alongside Ferguson and Zahn, the series also features a terrific cast that includes the likes of Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie and Iain Glen.

The episode’s logline is as follows:

“Juliette discovers something’s happened to Solo. Bernard makes an offer to Walker. Lukas meets with Salvador Quinn’s descendants.”

Rebecca Ferguson Will Be Dedicating the Next Year of Her Life to ‘Silo’

In the wake of Silo‘s renewal for two final seasons, which will be filming back to back (and are filming currently, as it happens), Ferguson, alongside Apple CEO Tim Cook, spoke with Empire Magazine’s Pilot TV podcast and explained how the next 12 months were going to be a “long old year.” She added:

“I have scheduled my home life. I’ve got my Pilates in. I’ve got a reformer on set. No, it’s wonderful. And also sort of when you get involved in something like this, the books are a certain quantity and mass, and we all knew how far it would have to go. It’s more, will the audience like it? And the fact that it’s going so well, it’s just such a sort of homage to all of us being involved in it. So yeah, it’s phenomenal that we get to do season three and four, and even if it’s long, it’s going to take the time it takes. And I’m excited.”

The next episode of Silo premieres on Friday. Check out the first look at the episode above.
