Drake Freestyle Calls Out People Who Switched Sides in Kendrick Feud

After closing the book on a turbulent 2024, Drake may be looking to make the most of a clean slate in the new year. Conductor Williams, a producer who has worked with the OVO boss, released a brand new Drizzy freestyle on his YouTube page on Friday (Jan. 3).

While the video was quickly taken down, fans grabbed the “Fighting Irish” freestyle and spammed the viral clip across social media. The visual captures Drake’s side profile as he raps through a small, grainy TV screen.

On the track, the 6 God gets introspective about the trials and tribulations of his 2024 over Conductor’s gleaming production, and seemingly blasts those who switched sides on him throughout the Kendrick Lamar feud.

“The world fell in love with the gimmicks, even my brothers got tickets, seemed like they loved every minute/ Just know the s–t is personal to us and wasn’t just business/ Analyzing behavioral patterns is somewhat suspicious,” he raps.

Drake appears to be targeting those he considered close friends, such as NBA stars DeMar DeRozan and LeBron James, who were in attendance for Kendrick’s Pop Out concert in June. The Fighting Irish was also the mascot for LeBron’s high school team when he attended St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Ohio.

Drizzy also dispels on the track Kendrick’s notion that he has a drinking problem, which Lamar alleged on the diabolical “Meet the Grahams.” “I don’t have a drinkin’ problem, I got a subtle addiction/ I got my father’s habits and I got my mother’s permission,” Drake rhymes.

He also sent a possible subtle jab at Universal Music Group regarding his legal actions alleging that his parent label artificially inflated the popularity of Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss track. “I hate to see their empire crumble on judges’ convictions,” he spews. (UMG denied his allegations, calling them “offensive and untrue” in a November statement to Billboard.)

Drake and Conductor have connected in the past on For All The Dogs tracks such as “8am in Charlotte” and “Stories About My Brother.”

Billboard has reached out to Drake and Conductor Williams for comment about the track and its removal.

Drake Freestyle Calls Out People Who Switched Sides in Kendrick Feud

In a recent freestyle, Drake took aim at those who have switched sides in his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar. The two rappers have been trading diss tracks and subliminal shots for years, but it seems that some people are now jumping ship and siding with Kendrick.

In his freestyle, Drake raps, “I see you all switching sides, can’t decide who to ride with // One minute it’s me, the next it’s him, make up your damn mind, kid.” The Toronto native is clearly frustrated with those who are flip-flopping in the feud and is calling them out for their indecisiveness.

It’s no secret that the rivalry between Drake and Kendrick has been one of the most talked-about in hip-hop, with fans and critics alike taking sides. But Drake’s message in this freestyle is clear: if you’re going to ride with him, then stick with him through thick and thin.

It remains to be seen how Kendrick will respond to Drake’s latest shots, but one thing is for sure: the feud between these two titans of rap shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. And for those who can’t make up their minds about whose side to be on, Drake has a simple message: pick a side and stick to it.

Wolf Man director teases his “100% practical” monster, as he admits “some people won’t like it because they love the traditional wolf too much”

Wolf Man director Leigh Whannell says that not everyone will like the look of the titular beast in the upcoming film – as the effects are 100% practical.

“I think you have to bring a new approach,” Whannell says in the new issue of SFX magazine, which features Star Trek spin-off movie Section 31 on the cover and hits newsstands on December 31. “Maybe there are some people that won’t like it because they love the traditional wolf too much, but that was the approach I wanted.” The filmmaker also adds that the Wolf Man is “100% practical, all make-up – there are no CGI elements.”

Director Leigh Whannell recently took to social media to tease fans about his upcoming film, “Wolf Man,” revealing that the film will feature a “100% practical” monster. Whannell, known for his work on horror films like “Upgrade” and “The Invisible Man,” has been vocal about his commitment to using practical effects in his latest project.

In his post, Whannell acknowledged that some fans may not be pleased with his interpretation of the iconic creature, stating, “Some people won’t like it because they love the traditional wolf too much.” This hints at a departure from the classic werewolf design that has been popularized in film and literature for decades.

Whannell’s decision to go practical with the monster design is sure to excite fans of practical effects and creature design, as it promises a more visceral and tangible portrayal of the Wolf Man. However, his acknowledgment of potential backlash from traditionalists suggests that he may be taking a bold and innovative approach to the beloved monster.

As details about “Wolf Man” continue to emerge, fans can expect a fresh take on a classic horror character that pushes boundaries and challenges expectations. Whannell’s commitment to practical effects and his willingness to take risks with the character’s design are sure to make “Wolf Man” a must-see for horror enthusiasts.

Jennifer Love Hewitt’s physical change she is criticized for: “It hurts when people reject you”

Jennifer Love Hewitt, one of the most beloved TV actresses of the 1990s and 2000s, has faced backlash from some fans over how her appearance has changed with time. “People seem to have a hard time accepting that I’m not the same as I used to be,” the actress said in a recent interview.

Hewitt rose to stardom through iconic roles in series like I Know What You Did Last Summer, which is set to return to the small screen, and Ghost Whisperer. Her talent and striking looks made her a Hollywood favorite during her peak years. Now 45, Hewitt is grappling with the realities of aging in an industry—and a society—that often resists the natural progression of time.

Fans cling to the past

In her interview with Fox News Digital, Hewitt reflected on how fans continue to associate her with the image they loved from decades ago. “I feel like fans pick an age they love, an age they think represents you, and they never expect you to mature beyond that,” she explained. “For me, it was like me and my 20s. people seem to have a really hard time accepting that… I don’t look that way anymore. Age is age. I think women really come into this… acceptance of themselves and comfortability in their 40s that is beautiful.”

However, she believes that society does not accept these changes or the passing of time: “It’s hard because I think as humans, we want to evolve… we want to have lines on our faces, and you know, our boobs be lower from breast-feeding our children, or you know, our butt’s bigger.“”

“Whatever it is, you just want to have the freedom to be whoever you are at that age. And it’s hurtful sometimes when people reject you as you are verbally on Instagram or the internet because they’re having a hard time adjusting to it.” the actress concluded, hurt by the rejection of her physical change.

Jennifer Love Hewitt, known for her roles in popular TV shows like “Ghost Whisperer” and “The Client List,” has been the subject of criticism for her physical appearance in recent years. Despite her talent and charisma, some people have focused on her changing body shape and size, leading to hurtful comments and rejection.

In a candid interview, Hewitt opened up about the pain of being criticized for her physical appearance. She shared, “It hurts when people reject you based on how you look. I’ve worked hard to stay healthy and take care of my body, but I can’t control the way it changes over time. It’s disheartening to be judged solely on my appearance, rather than my skills and talents as an actress.”

Despite facing criticism, Hewitt remains resilient and focused on her career. She continues to inspire fans with her confidence and authenticity, reminding us all that true beauty comes from within. Let’s show Jennifer Love Hewitt the love and support she deserves, and remember that everyone is worthy of acceptance and respect, regardless of their physical appearance.

Angel Reese Wore a Hot New Year’s Eve Outfit and People Online Got Mad

Since the dawn of time, people have tried to take down cool, talented, beautiful women, and trust that in 2025, that trend has sadly stuck around. WNBA star Angel Reese is the most victim of this, and while I guess no one should be surprised, it’s pretty disappointing. The Chicago Sky’s rookie posted videos of her New Year’s Eve outfit and was immediately slammed by people online for showing too much skin.

Stuff like that is as predictable as the ending to a fairy tale. That’s the unfortunate part, but it’s also worth talking about the fact that she looked incredibly beautiful. She wore a floor-length leopard print lace gown with a stomach-deep neckline that very much gives Jennifer Lopez in that Versace dress and a high leg slit. The dress obviously showed off her body, and that was enough to send an entire mob of angry comments.

More from StyleCaster

This morning, Reese appeared to have deactivated her Instagram in response to the negativity. A lot of the comments were shaming her for showing off her body, suggesting that she stick to playing basketball. This is obvious and boring misogyny, the idea that a professional athlete can’t also enjoy being sexy or getting dressed up for a night out. Reese was a college student this time last year, and obviously she has a life outside of her job, just like everyone else. This notion is, of course, never confusing for male athletes, whose personal lives and even actual scandals aren’t ever given much seriousness, as long as they’re GOATs on the court.

The good news is Reese has shooters. Her supporters are just as loud as her haters.

Angel Reese, the popular influencer and fashionista, shared her glamorous New Year’s Eve outfit on social media and instantly caused a stir among her followers. The stunning ensemble featured a sparkly mini dress with a plunging neckline and sky-high stiletto heels, making her look like a total bombshell.

However, not everyone was impressed with Angel’s daring choice of attire. Many online users criticized her outfit for being too revealing and inappropriate for a family-friendly holiday like New Year’s Eve. Some even went as far as calling her outfit “trashy” and “desperate for attention.”

Despite the backlash, Angel remained unbothered and continued to share photos of her fabulous night out, proving that she is confident in her own skin and unapologetic about her fashion choices. As always, she slayed the fashion game and left her haters green with envy.

In the end, it’s clear that Angel Reese knows how to turn heads and make a statement with her killer style, and haters gonna hate. Cheers to a fabulous New Year!

Biden will award Presidential Citizens Medal to 20 people, including Liz Cheney

President Joe Biden is bestowing the second highest civilian medal on Liz Cheney and Bennie Thompson, leaders of the congressional investigation into the Capitol riot who Donald Trump has said should be jailed for their roles in the inquiry.

Biden will award the Presidential Citizens Medal to 20 people in a ceremony Thursday at the White House, including Americans who fought for marriage equality, a pioneer in treating wounded soldiers, and two of the president’s longtime friends, former Sens. Ted Kaufman, D-Del., and Chris Dodd, D-Conn.

“President Biden believes these Americans are bonded by their common decency and commitment to serving others,” the White House said in a statement. “The country is better because of their dedication and sacrifice.”

Biden last year honored people who were involved in defending the Capitol from a mob of angry Trump supporters on Jan. 6, 2021, or who helped safeguard the will of American voters during the 2020 presidential election, when Trump tried and failed to overturn the results.

Cheney, a former Wyoming congresswoman, and Thompson, a Mississippi Democrat, led the House committee that investigated the insurrection. The committee’s final report asserted that Trump criminally engaged in a “multi-part conspiracy” to overturn the lawful results of the election he lost to Biden and failed to act to stop his supporters from attacking the Capitol. Thompson wrote that Trump “lit that fire.”

Cheney, who lost her seat in the GOP primary in August, later said she would vote for Democrat Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race and campaigned with the Democratic nominee, raising Trump’s ire. Biden has been considering whether to offer preemptive pardons to Cheney and others Trump has targeted.

Trump, who won the 2024 election and will take office Jan. 20, still refuses to back away from his lies about the 2020 presidential race and has said he would pardon the rioters once he is back in the White House.

During an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press,” the president-elect said that “Cheney did something that’s inexcusable, along with Thompson and the people on the un-select committee of political thugs and, you know, creeps,” claiming without evidence they “deleted and destroyed” testimony they collected.

“Honestly, they should go to jail,” he said.

Cheney and Thompson were “an embarrassment to this country” for their conduct on the committee, Trump’s communications director Steven Cheung asserted.

Biden is also giving the award to attorney Mary Bonauto, who fought to legalize same-sex marriage, and Evan Wolfson, a leader of the marriage equality movement.

Other honorees include Frank Butler, who set new standards for using tourniquets on war injuries; Diane Carlson Evans, an Army nurse during the Vietnam War who founded the Vietnam Women’s Memorial Foundation; and Eleanor Smeal, an activist who led women’s rights protests in the 1970s and fought for equal pay.

He’s also giving the award to photographer Bobby Sager, academics Thomas Vallely and Paula Wallace, and Frances Visco, the president of the National Breast Cancer Coalition.

Other former lawmakers being honored include former Sen. Bill Bradley, D-N.J.; former Sen. Nancy Kassebaum, the first woman to represent Kansas; and former Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, D-N.Y., who championed gun safety measures after her son and husband were shot to death.

Biden will honor four people posthumously: Joseph Galloway, a former war correspondent who wrote about the first major battle in Vietnam in the book “We Were Soldiers Once … and Young”; civil rights advocate and attorney Louis Lorenzo Redding; former Delaware judge Collins Seitz; and Mitsuye Endo Tsutsumi, who was held with other Japanese Americans during World War II and challenged the detention.

The Presidential Citizens Medal was created by President Richard Nixon in 1969 and is the country’s second highest civilian honor after the Presidential Medal of Freedom. It recognizes people who “performed exemplary deeds of service for their country or their fellow citizens.”

President Joe Biden has announced that he will award the prestigious Presidential Citizens Medal to 20 individuals, including Republican Representative Liz Cheney. The award is one of the highest honors a civilian can receive, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the country and their communities.

Cheney, who has been a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump and his handling of the 2020 election, is being recognized for her courage and integrity in standing up for democracy and the rule of law. Despite facing backlash from within her own party, Cheney has remained steadfast in her commitment to upholding the Constitution and defending the integrity of the electoral process.

In a statement, President Biden praised Cheney and the other recipients of the award, saying, “These individuals represent the best of America – they are dedicated, courageous, and committed to making a positive impact on the world around them. I am honored to recognize their contributions and grateful for their service to our country.”

The Presidential Citizens Medal will be presented to Cheney and the other honorees at a ceremony later this year. Congratulations to all the recipients on this well-deserved honor! #PresidentialCitizensMedal #LizCheney #JoeBiden

‘Juror No. 2’ topped streaming charts after being buried in theaters. Cedric Yarbrough hopes people see his dramatic breakthrough performance.

After a limited theatrical release, people can now finally stream Juror No. 2 on Max.

The star-studded film from 94-year-old director Clint Eastwood is a courtroom drama that follows a soon-to-be father (Nicholas Hoult) who sits on a jury for a murder case. During the trial, he realizes he himself is aware of the circumstances surrounding the night the woman died. He must then confront a challenging moral dilemma — does he convince the jury to convict an innocent man, or dredge up his past?

The film received rave reviews, adding to the confusion about why it was so difficult to see in theaters. Eastwood skipped its world premiere, and Variety reported that Warner Bros. was “burying” the movie. When it became available to purchase on VOD, it topped the charts. It’s also currently the No. 1 most streamed movie on Max.

Trusted news and daily delights, right in your inbox

See for yourself — The Yodel is the go-to source for daily news, entertainment and feel-good stories.

That’s great news for Cedric Yarbrough, who plays another member of the jury with strong convictions. Though he’s best known for his comedic work in shows like Reno 911! and The Boondocks, he delivers a standout performance in the role.

Yarbrough spoke to Yahoo Entertainment about his pivot, the movie’s limited release and working with a legendary director.

This interview has been edited for length and clarity.

Why did you want to be a part of this project?

I mean, come on! To be able to work with such talented people, and to work with an institution like Clint Eastwood — he is film. He’s been on both sides of the camera for so many years and is able to churn out things that are thought-provoking and change the landscape of filmmaking. It was an honor and blessing. And I needed a job, frankly. I’m like, let’s do some work. A lot of people know me from my comedy — they don’t know me for my dramatic work. So this was an opportunity to flex that.

Comedy is what most people know you for, for sure. What was it like auditioning for this dramatic role?

The process is very different now than it was pre-COVID. Juror No. 2 was an audition tape that my friend helped me record. From what I’ve been told by the casting director and from some of the producers is that [Eastwood] saw my tape and was like, “That’s our Marcus King, right there.” I was just so flabbergasted and fortunate that he saw it. He’s extremely trusting of his actors, his staff, producers and people that he’s worked with for so many years. When a director of his caliber trusts you, you will go through a train for him. With this possibly being his last film, you want to make sure the product matches all the products that he’s put out for so long.

I’m sure you saw that when this movie first came out, it wasn’t played in many theaters. Clearly, people wanted to see it, though, because it performed really well when it was released on VOD. Did you have any thoughts about that?

Personally, I do think it should have been in more theaters. This is the type of film that is evergreen. It’s about morality. You don’t have to enjoy superhero films to enjoy this kind of filmmaking that is for grown-ups. I think a lot of people love sequels and flashy superhero films, but what about those of us who really enjoy a good story and great performances and great direction and sound design and all of that? And watching it with strangers in the dark is still really cool. I like my house, but I love being outside of my house and enjoying a film of this magnitude with Clint Eastwood, Toni Collette, Nicholas Hoult — he’s on fire right now with The Order, Nosferatu, the new Superman you wanna see that guy in a theater! And J.K. Simmons, Kiefer Sutherland, Chris Messina, Leslie Bibb and [gesturing to himself] this weirdo — come on! I’m happy that people are now seeing the film, because it’s one of our best this year.

I’m really excited for you. Looking at your social media, I saw you posted a video with your Reno 911! co-star Niecy Nash. Can you give any hints about what you’re working on?

No, I cannot. But I love that lady so much! We did The Bernie Mac Show together and The Soul Man, Cedric the Entertainer’s show … but [Nash and I] have a project we’re doing, and I think people are going to be very excited to see us match wits again along with some amazing other people.

If you could do anything right now, what would you do? Who would you work with?

I want to work with everyone. I want to work with a lot of different casting directors, or at least for them to at least see me in a different light — that I don’t do just one thing. I come from the theater, that’s where I was trained. I’m ready to be in a musical. Broadway, hello, please! I love performing live. I’m hoping this will open up the ability for comedic actors to do drama. Drama is life. Drama is what we deal with. Even funny people have to deal with some sorrow and despair — that’s what life is. It takes a little bit of something extra to make something comedic. Look at some of us comedic actors to make you cry or make you feel a little bit more on the dramatic side, we’re capable. Call me, I’m available.

Juror No. 2 is now streaming on Max.

Cedric Yarbrough, best known for his comedic roles in shows like “Reno 911!” and “Speechless,” is making waves in the drama genre with his breakthrough performance in the film “Juror No. 2.” Despite being buried in theaters, the film has recently topped streaming charts, bringing attention to Yarbrough’s impressive dramatic abilities.

In “Juror No. 2,” Yarbrough plays a pivotal role as a conflicted juror who must grapple with difficult moral decisions during a high-profile trial. His performance has been praised for its emotional depth and nuance, showcasing a side of Yarbrough that audiences have never seen before.

Yarbrough has expressed his hopes that more people will discover his work in “Juror No. 2” and appreciate his versatility as an actor. He has proven that he is capable of tackling a wide range of roles, from comedy to drama, and is eager to continue pushing boundaries and challenging himself in future projects.

Fans and critics alike are buzzing about Yarbrough’s performance in “Juror No. 2,” and it’s clear that he has solidified his place as a talented and versatile actor in Hollywood. Keep an eye out for Cedric Yarbrough’s future projects, as he continues to impress and surprise audiences with his incredible talent.
