Brandi Glanville says she’s on the path to recovery amid her health woes — thanks to Dr. Terry Dubrow.

“Yes guys, @DrDubrow took 4 tiny biopsy’s [sic] from my face so we can continue to get better,” Glanville, 52, shared via X on Wednesday, January 29, adding: “Ez pz no pain I was in and out on 30 minutes now we wait.”

In December, Glanville accepted Dubrow’s public offer to treat abnormal facial swelling that she feared could be due to “parasites.” Dubrow, at the time, stated that he didn’t believe that to be the case.

“I saw one of her interviews and I’ve seen the picture of her, the one where she is swollen, the one where she is really deflated with the irregular skin,” the Botched doctor told TMZ late last year. “Here’s the thing, here’s what Brandi really needs to focus on… and it’s not her fault, it’s her doctor’s fault. Brandi needs a diagnosis.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum took to X in response, saying that she appreciated all the help she could get. She informed her followers: “[Dubrow and I] have been in touch and plan to talk thank you for all the love. All fillers that were in my face have been dissolved. I have seen all the best doctors at [Cedars-Sinai]” and “all the doctors they referred me to.”

Glanville has been very open about her deformities, previously revealing that she’s spent $70,000 seeking a cause.

“Honestly, I have so many doctors and I’ve had so many tests … I did lab work for $10,000,” she said in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. “I ran every test under the sun.… They’re like, ‘It could be a parasite.’”

Glanville told the outlet that some medical professionals suggested the issue may have been caused by old face fillers that were dissolving. But Glanville stated that she hadn’t done fillers in a while and that her older fillers had already dissolved.

She shared in a December episode of her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast that her condition had affected her personal relationships, as she limited her social interactions to just a few close friends and had no sex life to speak of.

“I was hiding and isolating and in f—ing misery, not wanting to share what was going on with anyone and not wanting to see anyone, for sure, 100 percent,” she said, revealing, “I have s— to do. I have places to go, people to make out with. I have not had sex since last October. I haven’t kissed [or] made out with anyone. I haven’t socialized, really.”

Recently, Camila Cabello performed to a nearly empty arena in Atlanta, leaving many fans and critics wondering what went wrong. However, an insider close to the situation has shed some light on why this may have happened.

According to the insider, there were several factors at play that led to the low turnout at the concert. One major reason was the lack of promotion for the event. The concert was not widely advertised, and many fans may not have even been aware that Camila Cabello was performing in Atlanta.

Additionally, the concert was held on a weeknight, which may have made it difficult for fans to attend due to work or school commitments. The insider also mentioned that ticket prices were on the higher side, which could have deterred some fans from purchasing tickets.

Despite the disappointing turnout, Camila Cabello still put on a stellar performance for those in attendance. Hopefully, in the future, better promotion and scheduling can help ensure that more fans are able to enjoy her live shows.

  • What the Memphis rapper performed

The show may have been “live from New York,” but the sounds were very much Memphis as Bluff City rap star GloRilla made her debut on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

GloRilla was the musical guest for the Jan. 18 mid-season premiere of SNL hosted by comedian Dave Chappelle, who appeared to forget to mention GloRilla’s appearance after his monologue.

Regardless, about 45 minutes into the program GloRilla kicked off her first performance on the show with a version of her signature hit, “Yeah Glo!” Dressed in an orange and green outfit, she took the stage amid a backdrop of what appeared to be her childhood home in Memphis, as photos of a young GloRilla — born Gloria Hallelujah Woods — flashed behind her.

Backed by a troupe of dancers, she worked the stage and the audience: “Let me hear y’all make some noise, SNL!” she urged the crowd, leading them in a call-and-response on the song’s chorus.

GloRilla used her second performance to double up, playing a medley of “Whatchu Kno About Me” and “Let Her Cook.” Though the lyrics to both tracks were heavily sanitized to meet network TV standards, GloRilla still managed to leave an indelible impression, sauntering the stage in a pink bikini-style ensemble, as she and her dancers worked through an animated routine (reportedly choreographed by Sean Bankhead, who also helped put together her VMAs routine). “Thank you SNL!” offered an excited GloRilla as her farewell.

But there was more as GloRilla made a guest appearance in the show’s final filmed sketch in which Dave Chappelle revived his “Chappelle’s Show” “Playa Haters” characters, alongside comedian Donnell Rawlings, in a spoof of the YouTube dating program “Pop the Balloon Or Find Love.” GloRilla appeared as one of the contestants who gave Chappelle some serious flak, as he labelled her a “sassy mouth.” GloRilla was also front and center alongside Chappelle for the cast goodnights, bringing her SNL debut to a close.

Earlier in the week GloRilla appeared in a series of promo spots teasing the episode with Chappelle and cast member Marcello Hernández. She showed off her comic timing, bantering with Hernandez and even cracking Chappelle up.

The Frayser native has joined the ranks of Memphis artists who have performed on “Saturday Night Live,” including Al Green and Justin Timberlake.

The SNL spot is yet another milestone in the 25-year-old’s fast-rising career.  In October, GloRilla released her debut album, “Glorious,” which hit No. 5 on the Billboard album charts and made it to No. 2 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts.

In 2024, GloRilla saw a total of five songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100 — including “Wanna Be” with Megan Thee Stallion at No. 11, “Whatchu Kno About Me” with Sexyy Red at No. 17, “TGIF” at No. 22, “Yeah Glo!” at No. 28, and “Hollon” at No. 48.

GloRilla is also nominated for two Grammy Awards at the upcoming 67th annual ceremony. Her nominations include Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for her song “Yeah Glo!” which is certified two-time platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Last year, GloRilla made her late-night television debut in November performing on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Last fall she also wowed TV audiences with a standout segment as part of MTV’s annual Video Music Awards ceremony.
