These players were all taken from the most dropped waiver trends section, which can be found on any FantasySP fantasy basketball page.

Fantasy Outlook
Kennard is down 7%, bringing his total mark to 37%. His own percentage ebbs and flows depending on how he’s scoring, and after a poor shooting performance over the weekend, Kennard is down several percent.
Kennard was 1-of-7 shooting in his last game. In 21 minutes, he had four points, three assists and one rebound, steal and block.
In the two games before that, Kennard combined for 50 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and three steals – he played 26 minutes off the bench in one game and started and tallied 27 minutes in the other game.
Kennard is simply a streaky shooter, and unless he’s shooting well, you can expect his own percentage to be falling rather than rising or remaining steady. It’s hard to predict what kind of performance he might have, and fantasy owners often prefer to look elsewhere for fantasy help after he delivers a down showing.
For the season, Kennard is averaging 9.8 points, 3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.1 blocks across 21.7 minutes in 33 games and two starts. He’s shooting 47.8% overall and is 48.7% from behind the 3-point line.
He’s scored over 10 points in 18 contests, with two games over 20 points. Kennard also has nine games under five points scored, so some of his down games are really rough ones.
Kennard needs to be rostered in a decent amount of deeper leagues still, but there’s better options out there for those of you playing in slightly deeper than standard leagues. He can be streamed in most deeper leagues when he’s hot from the floor.
You can try to play matchups, but really, the best course of action with Kennard is to add him after a big scoring performance, as another couple are probably to follow.
Fantasy Outlook
Anthony has been dropped in 6.5% of leagues and is now rostered in 31% of leagues. He saw his role diminished in his last contest, so you can understand why fantasy owners want to move off him.
After starting or playing at least 26 minutes in nine straight games, Anthony came off the bench and played just 19 minutes in the team’s past game. He missed the two games before that.
For the season, Anthony is averaging 8.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.3 blocks across 16.3 minutes in 42 games and eight starts. Those numbers aren’t special, and he boosted them while starting and getting more minutes of late.
Orlando got a bit healthier in the past week, and it seems to have knocked Anthony back into his reserve role. He’s still contributing enough at his season averages to own and start in some deeper leagues, but he probably should be owned in less leagues than his current own percentage.
I’d keep Anthony on your watch list in case his role changes again, or if the Magic shakeup their roster and it gets Anthony into a better role. Right now though, I think Anthony’s own percentage should continue to fall, and think he should only be rostered in around 20% of leagues, at most.
Fantasy Outlook
Yabusele is down 6.1% and sitting at 43% overall. He continues to play a big enough role because of so many injuries in Philadelphia, but some poor performances of late has him being dropped.
Over the past four games, Yabusele has scored in single figures twice. He was 3-of-10 shooting in his last game, but still had six rebounds and four rebounds to be a decent fantasy asset.
Until the Sixers get healthy, which honestly I don’t think happens consistently all season, Yabusele is worth rostering and playing in a good amount of deeper leagues. He averages 10.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.5 blocks across 26.1 minutes in 42 games and 20 starts this season. That’s enough production to utilize him in a few leagues.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if the Sixers looked to sell high on Yabusele. He hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2018-19 season, but a contending team in need of another big man could definitely be intrigued by Yabusele. His role might diminish a bit on a new team, but a better team around him might also help him be more efficient and a pretty solid fantasy player still.
I’d drop him in standard leagues and any deeper leagues that are only slightly deeper than standard ones. He still has enough value to roster in 40% of leagues or so, as long as his numbers don’t fall off consistently.
Fantasy Outlook
Jerome was dropped in 5.3% of leagues and now has an own mark of 30%. He’s had a wild couple of box scores of late, but a bad showing in his last game has fantasy owners ready to move on.
Jerome had just six points, four rebounds and three assists across 18 minutes in the team’s most recent game. He shot 1-of-8 in that game. Jerome was 11-of-14 shooting the night before, tallying 33 points, three rebounds and assists and two steals.
Jerome isn’t going to score 30 points a night, but he’s averaging 10.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals across 8.3 minutes in 42 games and two starts this season. The scoring and other few averages he owns are solid enough to roster him in a decent amount of deeper leagues. You could also stream Jerome when a couple regular Cavalier contributors are out for a game.
His own percentage should hover around that 30% most of the season, probably not dipping below 25% or going over 40% ever. Jerome is a player to keep tabs on in case a big-time Cleveland player were ever to go down.

Pippen is down 5% and sits at 33% overall now. He’s struggled to score of late, and that’s probably the biggest reason behind him being dropped.
Pippen scored 13 points on January 24, but is averaging 4.9 points over the past nine games. In 16.6 minutes over that stretch, Pippen owns other averages of 2.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals.
His averages in rebounds, assists and steals aren’t too shabby, but if he can’t even average five points a game, there’s no point in rostering Pippen outside really deep leagues and dynasties. There has to be some better options out there on the waiver wire.
His season averages of 9.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.3 blocks across 21.6 minutes in 46 games and 16 starts are much more respectable. I’d put Pippen on my watch list if you decide to drop him, or he gets dropped in your league.
He might heat up again later in the season, at which point he could be worth adding and playing for several weeks at a time. Right now though, there’s not many leagues I’d want to start Pippen in – if you aren’t ready to drop him, don’t be afraid to just bench him for a while.

Scottie Pippen offers new perspective on ‘The Last Dance’ after bitter grudges against Michael Jordan series
Scottie Pippen holds intense animosity toward Michael Jordan due to one simple reason: ‘The Last Dance.’
The once known proud partners behind the historic Chicago Bulls dynasty became estranged when the renowned 10-part documentary was presented worldwide nearly five years ago.
With Jordan occupying the limelight of the entire program, Pippen himself emerged as his main critic, constantly airing bitter grievances against his former running mate.
Yet in a unique turn of events amid his well-known sheer hostility around Jordan and the miniseries, it appeared that Pippen became even more welcoming about the idea and context of ‘The Last Dance.’

No one can absolutely question Pippen’s unwavering contributions around the Bulls’ dynasty in the 1990s. And for the Hall of Famer, he didn’t get enough credit for how he played an instrumental role in the franchise’s success and six championship runs from the portrayal of ‘The Last Dance.’
The one-sided focus of ‘The Last Dance’ prompted Pippen to burn his bridges against Jordan. And as a way to retaliate, he even released ‘Unguarded,’ an unfiltered memoir which detailed his point of view and frustration for being labelled as Jordan’s sidekick.
But despite misgivings towards Jordan and ‘The Last Dance’ after all these years, Pippen recently offered an intriguing and different perspective about the documentary. In an October sit-down conference interview for Front Office Sports, the Chicago great is convinced that the sports show was special during its time of release.
“I thought it was very positive,” Pippen said. “I felt like at that time, we needed something positive and good to watch on TV.
“I felt the documentary was great. I didn’t have anything to do with it, which I was a little disappointed in.
“But I felt like it was a great documentary. It won some awards.”
Time heals wounds?
‘The Last Dance’ was released during the pandemic. With no NBA basketball to watch as the 2019-20 season got suspended, it gave people something to embrace and anticipate in the midst of the health crisis and global uncertainty.
Due to its popularity and topnotch coverage from the shared production of ESPN and Netflix, it instantly became a worldwide hit. Locked into their household, fans have tuned in on watching the show as it became ESPN’s most-watched documentary with an average of nearly 15 million viewership per episode.
As such, the numbers are even greater at the side of Netflix. And in terms of the accolades standpoint, ‘The Last Dance’ garnered multiple honors as well from many award-giving media bodies.
In his remarks, Pippen might have indicated that time has finally healed wounds and that he finally let go of any ill grudges that he had on Jordan and ‘The Last Dance’.
At the end of the day, he deserves to be celebrated and acknowledged for being a main pillar of one of the game’s greatest teams.

The 2020 documentary The Last Dance gave basketball fans an inside look at the Chicago Bulls’ iconic dynasty. While it mesmerized many, Scottie Pippen saw things differently. The film, centered heavily around Michael Jordan, left the Bulls legend feeling overshadowed. Pippen even slammed it in his memoir, Unguarded, writing that it glorified Jordan while sidelining the contributions of teammates.
Fast forward to the documentary’s release, and Pippen’s frustrations didn’t go unnoticed. He admitted, reaching out to Jordan, and expressing his dissatisfaction directly. Reflecting on it during an interview with The Guardian, Pippen said, “I don’t think it was that accurate in terms of really defining what was accomplished in one of the greatest eras of basketball, but also by two of the greatest players.”
Despite the spotlight on the team’s legacy, Pippen felt the broader story was lost in Jordan’s shadow. Not only that, Pippen later suggested the documentary felt more like a self-promotion effort by MJ. “I thought it was more about Michael trying to uplift himself and to be glorified,” Pippen stated. He even argued it backfired by exposing Jordan’s intense, often unflattering personality.

However, this topic came back when Scottie Pippen took to X, asking for documentary recommendations. “What’s the best documentary to watch right now? Give me some top picks,” he posted.
The internet, of course, had jokes. Flooding the replies, fans sarcastically suggested one title over and over: The Last Dance.
Fans bring Michael Jordan to troll Pippen over documentary feud
It didn’t take long for fans to bring up The Last Dance when Scottie Pippen innocently asked for documentary suggestions. “The last dance. Surely I’m not the first to say it,” one fan quipped. Another piled on, writing, “Idk if you ever heard of it but The Last Dance was amazing.”
This trolling isn’t new, though—it stems from Pippen’s well-documented gripes about the series. He’s often argued that the documentary painted the 1997-98 Bulls season as “Michael’s story,” overlooking the team’s collective journey. While their coach, Phil Jackson, aptly named it “The Last Dance” as the dynasty approached its end, Pippen believes the film ultimately became a tribute to Jordan, rather than the farewell the team deserved.
Not stopping there, Pippen once claimed Jordan’s control over the documentary’s narrative was a major problem. “Michael deserved a large portion of the blame,” he said. “He was the leading man and the director.” With such creative power, Pippen felt Jordan had the perfect chance to highlight the team’s efforts but chose not to. Instead, the documentary spotlighted Jordan’s personal version of events, leaving the contributions of others in the shadows.
However, fans weren’t ready to let Pippen’s frustrations slide.

The jokes kept rolling in, with comments like, “Oh man, you checked out The Last Dance yet?! Pretty solid, seen it a few times myself, highly recommend!” and “Last dance might interest you.” While the internet took jabs at Pippen, Jordan had a different take, expressing nostalgia for those days.
Reflecting in 2021, Jordan told Today Australia, “I think it was [a] genuine time… we were competing, pushing each other.” MJ also admitted it made him “sad” when their era ended, highlighting the bittersweet nature of their partnership.
However, as one fan cheekily suggested, “Have you seen The Last Dance? Not bad,” Pippen himself doesn’t think the Last Dance is bad as a documentary.

Speaking at Real-World Asset Summit in New York two months ago, he surprisingly said, “I thought it was very positive. I felt, at that time, we needed something positive and good to watch on TV. I felt the documentary was great, I didn’t have anything to do with it, which I was a little disappointed in, but it was a great documentary, it won some awards.”
Time, it seems, has softened his view—at least a little.
Fans Troll Scottie Pippen Over Michael Jordan Beef as Bulls Legend’s Call for Help BackfiresFormer Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen recently made headlines for his comments about his former teammate Michael Jordan. Pippen called out Jordan for being selfish and claimed that he was the real leader of the Bulls during their championship runs in the 1990s.
However, Pippen’s call for help seems to have backfired as fans took to social media to troll him over his comments. Many fans pointed out that Jordan was the driving force behind the Bulls’ success and that Pippen’s comments were unwarranted.
Some fans even went as far as to create memes and jokes at Pippen’s expense, mocking him for trying to overshadow Jordan’s legacy. Despite Pippen’s attempt to speak out against Jordan, it seems that fans are not buying into his narrative.
It remains to be seen how Pippen will respond to the backlash, but one thing is for sure – the beef between him and Jordan is far from over. Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing drama.

Start Scotty Pippen Jr. if Ja Morant sits vs. the Warriors
Alex Hunter analyzes Scottie Pippen Jr.’s fantasy value if Ja Morant (back) is out for Thursday’s game between the Grizzlies and Warriors.
Ja Morant ($9,000; back) is questionable tonight vs. the Warriors, while Marcus Smart ($4,100; shoulder) is doubtful.
Below, I break down my favorite value play from the Grizzlies if Morant is out.

PG Scotty Pippen Jr., Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors, $4,000
If Morant is ruled out and joins Smart on the sidelines tonight, the Grizzlies will be very shorthanded on ball handlers. Scotty Pippen Jr. would likely start at point guard in this situation and he would be a must-have value play at his low $4,000 salary on DraftKings.
Memphis has been without both Morant and Smart six times this season and, as a starter, Pippen Jr. flourished in those contests, with 33.7 FPTS in 26.2 minutes per game, with that latter number ranking third for the Grizzlies. With both Morant and Smart off the court this season, Pippen Jr. leads Memphis with a 36.1% assist rate — which is a 4.9 percentage point lift from his average — and he scores 1.2 FPTS per minute.
Pippen Jr. would be in line for at least 25 minutes if Morant is out and he would destroy his cheap salary in this fast paced setting vs. the Warriors. Both Memphis and Golden State rank inside the top 10 in pace this season and this game’s total is set at 236.5 points on the DraftKings Sportsbook, which is the second-highest of the 13 NBA games on the schedule Thursday.

With Ja Morant potentially sitting out against the Warriors, it’s time for the Grizzlies to give Scotty Pippen Jr. the starting nod. Pippen has shown flashes of brilliance this season and has proven that he can hold his own on both ends of the court.Starting Pippen would not only give him valuable experience but also provide the team with a different look and dynamic on offense. His scoring ability and playmaking skills could be crucial in helping the Grizzlies secure a win against a tough Warriors team.
So, if Morant is indeed sidelined, it’s time to unleash Pippen and see what he can do as a starter. It could be the spark that the Grizzlies need to come out on top in this matchup. #StartScottyPippenJr #GrindCity
