The Final Destination franchise has had some ups and downs, and after several sequels of diminishing returns, it looks like the new movie, Final Destination: Bloodlines
, will be taking things in a new direction – as a prequel movie partly set in the 1960s. The movie, which is the second horror franchise to use the Bloodlines subtitle after 2024’s Pet Sematary prequel, is preparing to release its first trailer, which makes sense considering the film’s planned release date of May 16, 2025.
An official synopsis of the new movie (via Feature First) suggests a dual timeline story, which could end up having several ties to the original Final Destination movie. The description reads:
“In the 1960s, a grandmother predicts the collapse of a building and saves a group of people from death. Decades later, her granddaughter also begins to have visions of the death of her family members and later begins to realize that there is a sequence.”
Final Destination: Bloodlines comes from director’s Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky, and stars Brec Bassinger, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, and Richard Harmon, as well as a posthumous appearance by the late Tony Todd returning as creepy mortician William Bludworth. The mix of dual period settings of the 1960s and, presumably the 1980s or 1990s, and the appearance by Todd’s character, is certainly intriguing and something that could help revive the franchise after several lackluster releases.
Can the ‘Final Destination’ Franchise Really Deliver Anything New?
Like many movie franchises built on a single premise of characters dying one by one, after a couple of run outs, it is hard to do anything new with the property other than rinse and repeat several increasingly elaborate death scenes. However, when the death scenes begin to defy all logic, and almost become eye-rolling moments that go beyond incredulous, then the horror and suspense is abandoned in favor of some kind of “death porn” spectacle.
The multigenerational storyline of Final Destination: Bloodlines does seem to be attempting to bring something new to the party, and with a mostly new cast, and coming 14 years after Final Destination 5, the movie can target an audience that was not the right age to see the original saga.
The Final destination franchise is responsible for inducing quite a few phobias. Here are 15 of the worst ways to go as imagined by the films.
Of course, it does not take a synopsis to work out that there will be many people dying in some intriguing and brutal ways. However, Final Destination: Bloodlines could face some unexpected competition from Osgood Perkins’ Stephen King adaptation, The Monkey, which reportedly includes some crazy and gory death scenes that have found the film struggling to put together a TV spot that is acceptable to distributors.
Either way, there is not too long to wait until Final Destination: Bloodlines attempts to capture an early summer box office win. If the film is a success, then it is pretty certain that the franchise will become yet another long-dormant IP that is being brought back to life after more than a decade. If it becomes a theatrical dud, there will be a deathly shadow lurking to take it away to a free streaming graveyard soon afterwards.
After years of speculation and anticipation, fans of the Final Destination franchise can finally rejoice as plot details for Final Destination 6 have been revealed ahead of the trailer release. Not only that, but there are also details about a potential prequel in the works.
In Final Destination 6, we follow a group of young adults who narrowly escape a catastrophic disaster only to realize that death is still coming for them. As they try to outsmart death’s design, they uncover a sinister conspiracy that threatens to unravel everything they thought they knew about their own fate.
But that’s not all – rumors are circulating about a potential prequel that delves into the origins of the infamous “death design” and how it all began. Could we finally learn the true origins of the curse that haunts these unsuspecting victims?
Stay tuned for the trailer release and more updates on Final Destination 6 and the potential prequel as we await the next chapter in this thrilling and suspenseful franchise. Get ready to cheat death once again.

With Mark’s macho blue-and-black costume finally making its debut, his breakup with Amber still fresh, Angstrom Levy apparently killed, little Oliver’s superpowers emerging, Omni-Man and Allen the Alien about to bust out of prison, and the high-voltage character of Powerplex arriving to cause electric chaos, it’s bound to be an impactful eight episodes that delve far deeper into the lore of the Image comics.
Here’s everything we know about Prime Video’s “Invincible” Season 3 as it lands for its bloody new adventures next month.

“INVINCIBLE” SEASON 3 TEASERS AND TRAILERS
October’s first “Invincible” Season 3 teaser was a meta-humorous sneak peek that checked in with Mark Grayson while he’s dining at Burger Mart, only to have Cecil barge in via teleportation to remind him of all the upcoming challenges that face him and ask what exactly he’s been doing to prepare himself. Training time is here. No pressure at all, there’s just 8 billion people counting on him!

A full trailer hit in December when Prime Video treated fans to the barrage of threats and incidents awaiting Mark by showing impressive stats for Mark’s new Cecil-lead training program that has the 19-year-old shoved up against the limits of his moral convictions.

“We can be the good guys, or we can be the guys who save the world. We can’t be both,” warns Cecil. The Mauler Twins make a return appearance, as do D.A. Sinclair’s robo-zombies, the Reanimen. The iconic blue-and black costume shows up, and young purple-skinned Oliver rumbles with supervillains twice his size after being formally included as a working member of the Guardians of the Globe.

Are you, like me, eagerly counting down the days to dive back into the spooky world of Wednesday Addams? Well, the Wednesday Season 2 is confirmed to be premiered in 2025, promising even more of the dark and mysterious adventures we’ve come to love.
Wednesday Season 2: What’s in store?
The new season promises to dive deeper into Wednesday’s journey as she tackles family drama, friendships, fresh mysteries, and even old foes. Creators and executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar teased that it will be “darker and more complex.” They’re also excited to explore more of the Addams Family lore and introduce a lineup of new characters.
New additions to the cast include Steve Buscemi (Barry Dort), Billie Piper (Capri), Thandiwe Newton (Dr Fairburn), Joanna Lumley (Grandmama) and more.
Season 1 left us with many unanswered questions after Wednesday found herself tangled in an otherworldly conspiracy at Nevermore Academy. Season 1 spent 20 weeks on the Global Top 10 and reached the Top 10 in 93 countries with 252.10 million views.
“Season 2 will be delightfully dark, kooky, and mysterious,” Gough and Millar said. “If we told you why, Wednesday would kill us. So our lips are sealed,” they added.
Jenna Ortega, who’s not only starring but also produced this season, perfectly captures Wednesday’s gothic charm. As Ortega earlier told Tudum, Wednesday “sticks to her guns” and refuses to please anyone—a quality that fans adore.

“It takes a certain kind of person to succeed as a Night Agent,”series newcomer Catherine (Amanda Warren) says to Peter in the clip. Tune into the new season to find out if he’ll be up to the challenge.
After all, as The Night Agent star Basso says, Season 2 will unveil new deadly obstacles for his character. “I think Peter’s trying to find his footing in this new world he’s living in,” Basso says to Tudum. “He hasn’t had time to adjust.” The Season 2 premiere kicks off about nine months after the Season 1 finale with Peter already on a dangerous mission in faraway Thailand. “He’s just not getting an inhale moment — a moment to acclimate,” Basso explains.
Creator and showrunner Shawn Ryan can’t wait for fans to dive back into the action with Peter. “Wait until you see the first 13 minutes of this season,” he tells Tudum. “I almost can’t believe that we’re finally here — that the world gets to see it!”
So, as you prepare to join Peter on his next adventure, keep reading for your complete guide to The Night Agent Season 2.
What is The Night Agent Season 2 about?
Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, the new episodes pick up after the high-octane events of Season 1. Peter’s efforts to save the president were successful, and now he’s earned the opportunity to become a Night Agent. Working in the secretive organization Night Action in Season 2 will push Peter into a world where danger is everywhere and trust is in short supply.
When does The Night Agent Season 2 premiere?
You can watch all 10 episodes of The Night Agent Season 2 now on Netflix.
Who is in the Night Agent Season 2 cast?
The cast of The Night Agent Season 2 is:
Gabriel Basso as Peter Sutherland
Luciane Buchanan as Rose Larkin
Amanda Warren as Catherine, a veteran of the top secret Night Action investigative program who trains and oversees various Night Agents. Smart, private, and determined, Catherine is a fierce defender of her agents, but finds it difficult to earn Peter’s trust.
Arienne Mandi as Noor, a low-level aide in the Iranian mission to the United Nations in New York. She is looking to leverage her access to top secret information into a better life for her and her family.
Louis Herthum as Jacob Monroe, an international businessman with powerful global connections that he uses to obtain valuable information.
Berto Colon as Solomon, a former Marine turned right-hand man/fixer for a powerful businessman.
Michael Malarkey as Markus, a trained military leader loyal to his dictator uncle who was recently convicted in the Hague of war crimes.
Keon Alexander as Javad, the head of security for the Iranian mission. He is responsible for not only protecting the mission employees, but also ensuring they stay loyal to the regime.

Marwan Kenzari as Sami, a decorated soldier. He was court-martialed for another man’s crime and is given the opportunity to be a Night Agent. Fiercely intelligent, with a wry sense of humor and a hair-trigger temper, he doesn’t hesitate to act when backed into a corner.
Elise Kibler as Sloane, a smart, savvy, and glamorous British socialite who also happens to be the girlfriend of Tomás. She knows how toxic her boyfriend’s family is and tries to convince him to break ties with them.
Dikran Tulaine as Viktor Bala, a smart, dangerous, and manipulative man who was once the leader of his country. He has since been convicted of war crimes.
Can I see the Night Agent trailer?
As sure as the Night Action phone is going to ring, you can catch the trailer above. In the video, we see Peter jumping into the action as a Night Agent — and then being surrounded by mounting perils. Bullets fly and punches land, as Peter works to uncover a possible conspiracy in Night Action. All the while, the fate of the nation lies in his hands. Peter will have to rely on old friends like Rose as well as dubious allies — including Night Action veterans Alice and Catherine — to survive.
In the last scene of the Season 1 finale, things are finally looking up for Peter — literally. He’s on a jet heading to his first mission as a night agent; Night Action is an “off the books” program under the president that investigates cases that traditional intelligence agencies can’t figure out.
Peter’s promotion is his reward for unraveling a terrorist conspiracy within the walls of the White House and saving the life of President Michelle Travers (Kari Matchett). Peter’s love interest, former Silicon Valley CEO Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan), is the one who walks him across the tarmac before his high-flying (and spying) escapade.
But what does Peter’s new job mean for the couple?
“That’s one of the big questions we’d love to answer in Season 2,” said Ryan. “What does Peter getting on this plane and going somewhere (presumably overseas to enter into some new wild adventure) mean, with Rose going back to California to try to pursue her Silicon Valley dreams again? We certainly have some initial ideas.”
Will The Night Agent return for Season 3?
Yes! The show has already been renewed for a third season, which began production in Istanbul at the end of 2024 and will return to New York in 2025.
Keep coming back to Tudum for all your Night Agentnews — consider this your own personal dossier.

While DC Studios is gearing up to start its cinematic universe with its beacon of hope, Superman, the natural order of things begs for balance. This is where Batman comes in who is the embodiment of vengeance. As we all know, The Batman Part 2 is set to release in 2027, and after the cinematic masterpiece ‘The Batman’, it’s almost impossible to put forth how frustratingly painful it must be for fans to wait for such a long time. So, we fans are coming up with multiple theories regarding the plot of The Batman Part 2 and I have come across several of them that make a certain level of sense and I can’t wait to share them with you folks. So without any further dilly-dallying, let’s dive right into it, shall we?
The Penguin’s Upcoming Season Will Set up The Batman Part 2
Image Credit: Warner Bros. Studios (via Warner Bros Discovery)
If I talk about my theory, we all know that The Batman Part 2 has been delayed for a 2027 release and I might have an idea behind this delay’s reason. Matt Reeves recently confirmed that The Penguin Season 2 is in the works and he and his team are working on ideas to approach this new season. I feel that since Penguin has replaced the Falcones and is now the crime boss of Gotham City, The Penguin Season 2 will be used to create a story that will make it easier for The Batman Part 2 to do its own thing.
The Penguin Season 1 was there to show us Ozwald’s rise to power. However, he is still to become the villain DC fans are familiar with, and to pitch him against the Bat of Gotham, The Penguin Season 2 will bring him to all his glory gradually making him a big enough threat to ping on Batman’s radar. I feel that the sequel was delayed with the intent of releasing The Penguin Season 2 followed by The Batman 2 for all the above-mentioned reasons.
The Batman Part 2 Might Bring the Court of Owls as the Main Villain

While doom-scrolling on Reddit, I came across multiple theories regarding The Batman Part 2’s plot. While most of these theories were rather ambiguous, one of them particularly struck out and made a lot of sense. According to this theory brought forth by MrDrPepper1998, In The Batman, we saw that the DA of Gotham, Gill Coulson was killed by The Riddler and following the floods, Bella Reál announced the formation of an Anti Crime/Corruption task force. To carry out this task, she will need a bold and fearless DA and this is the perfect opportunity to introduce Harvey Dent as the new DA of Gotham who will lead this task force.
Since The Batman universe does not follow an exact comic storyline, there is a possibility that with the introduction of this task force, the corrupt politicians and businessmen of Gotham will start operating from the shadows, giving birth to The Court of Owls. Batman gets a hint of such an organization and to infiltrate their ranks, we will get to see more of Bruce Wayne this time around, amending the complaints fans had of him having too little screen time in the first movie.
Meanwhile, now since The Penguin has become the crime boss of Gotham, he might start getting politically involved leading him to be approached by the Court of Owls in the final episodes of The Penguin Season 2, and in The Batman Part 2, he will become the link that will tip off Batman about the existence of such an organization to save his skin from the Caped Crusader.
The Batman Part 2 could also set up Part 3 with Selina Kyle breaking out her half-sister Sofia Falcone from Arkham. This could lead to a mass prison break freeing the Riddler and Barry Keoghan’s Joker from captivity, setting up The Batman Part 3 inspired by the comic run of War of Jokes and Riddles. In the comic, Joker and Riddler go to war against each other and the entire Gotham City becomes a victim of the crossfire between them. This is where Batman and Jim Gordon team up to stop both the villains from taking down the entire city with them.
So, what do you guys think about this Batman 2 plot theory? To me, it would be an insane plot for the upcoming flick and if you have any theories of your own for The Batman Part 2’s plot, use this post as a discussion ground and while we wait for any official details, let us in on your theories as well while staying tuned with us for further updates!

I am beyond excited for the upcoming release of “The Batman Part 2,” and I have a theory about the plot that has me absolutely giddy with anticipation.
In the first installment of the film, we saw Robert Pattinson’s Batman facing off against the Riddler and uncovering a conspiracy that went deep into Gotham’s corrupt underbelly. However, I believe that in the sequel, we will see Batman taking on a new villain who is even more formidable and dangerous.
My theory is that the Joker will make his long-awaited appearance in “The Batman Part 2.” The Joker is one of Batman’s most iconic and enduring villains, and I believe that his inclusion in the sequel will add a whole new level of intensity and excitement to the story.
I can already imagine the thrilling cat-and-mouse game that will play out between Batman and the Joker, with each trying to outsmart and outmaneuver the other. The dynamic between these two iconic characters is always electric, and I cannot wait to see how it unfolds on the big screen.
Overall, my theory about the inclusion of the Joker in “The Batman Part 2” has me on the edge of my seat with anticipation. I am counting down the days until the film’s release so that I can see if my theory proves to be true. Until then, I will be eagerly awaiting any new updates or trailers that give me a glimpse of what is in store for Batman in the sequel.

Novak Djokovic resumes his rivalry with Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open on Tuesday in a clash of two tennis generations.
Djokovic is arguably the sport’s greatest of all time, playing in pursuit of a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title.
Meanwhile Alcaraz is at the forefront of tennis’ new wave of rising stars. He is still only 21 years old, but has already won Wimbledon twice as well as the French Open and US Open.

The Australian Open is the only major title outside of Alcaraz’s collection and he is seeking to complete his career Grand Slam this year in Melbourne.
If he manages to do so, he would be the younger player ever to accomplish the feat.
This quarter-final will take place from 9.30am on Tuesday, which you can follow in the live blog on the Sky Sports website and app.
Alcaraz won a memorable Wimbledon final against Djokovic in 2023, prevailing in a five-set thriller. The Spaniard dominated Djokovic to win the Wimbledon final again last year.
But Djokovic was victorious in their last encounter, when he beat Alcaraz at Roland Garros in an emotional Olympic final last summer to secure his first gold medal.

Sky SportsTennis commentator Jonathan Overend said this quarter-final is“worthy of a final, worthy of any final, and yet here they are playing in the last eight”.
“They’ve had so many great battles in the past, notably the Wimbledon final from two years ago, the Cincinnati final from that summer as well was quite incredible and of course the Olympic final from 2024 on the clay of Roland Garros, which was in many people’s eyes was the match of last season,” Overend continued.
“It was an unbelievable level achieved by these two. The shot-making, the defensive ability, the movement of both of these guys – never in doubt – and the emotion at the end with Djokovic in tears having completed the Golden Slam and Alcaraz in tears because he came so close to winning that gold medal for Spain.
“If we get anywhere close to a repeat of the standard of tennis that day in this match, then we’re in for a Melbourne treat.”
Djokovic vs Alcaraz: The breakdown
Novak Djokovic holds a 4-3 record head-to-head against Carlos Alcaraz at ATP level, with Djokovic winning both of their previous meetings on hard court in 2023 – Cincinnati, ATP Finals.
The age gap of 15 years and 349 days between Djokovic and Alcaraz will be the biggest in a men’s quarter-final at a Grand Slam since Jimmy Connors and Andre Agassi (17 years and 239 days, US Open 1989).
Alcaraz could become only the third player to defeat Djokovic three times consecutively at Grand Slam events, after Rafael Nadal and Stan Wawrinka.
Currently on 49 for his career, Djokovic could become the first male player in the Open Era to reach 50 semi-finals at Grand Slams.
‘I know my weapons’

It will be the earliest stage at which they’ve crossed paths in a major.
“This is not the right player to play in a quarter-final, I guess,” Alcaraz said.
“Being in a quarter-final, I’m going to approach the match the same as I did in the previous matches against him, and let’s see.
“I know my weapons. I know that I’m able to play good tennis against him, I’m able to beat him.”
Djokovic said of Alcaraz: “He’s a very dynamic, explosive player. Incredibly talented and charismatic. He’s great to watch but not that great to play against.
“I’m expecting a big battle, as is the case in most of our matches when we’ve faced each other.”

Murray vs Ferrero: Battle of the coaches

A look at every Masters final on the ATP Tour between Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic
Djokovic has a new source of guidance for this competition, having hired retired superstar Andy Murray as his new coach.
Alcaraz’s coach is Juan Carlos Ferrero, another former world No 1.
And Sky Sports Tennis’ Overend said: “Murray actually beat Ferrero three times and all of them in 2009, including at Wimbledon that year.
“Two very astute readers of the game and we know the excellent work Ferrero has done with Alcaraz over several years, but we’re already seeing Murray’s impact on Djokovic.
“The potential for this great short-term coaching arrangement is there for all to see and Murray will absolutely relish the opportunity of plotting Alcaraz’s downfall. I suppose the big question is, is whether he tries to tinker with anything in particular.
“What Murray might be able to bring is a couple of subtle tweaks, potentially to the counter-attacking game of Djokovic.
“We know how good he is, but could he see a few gaps in the Alcaraz backline to try to take the initiative in rallies and to stop the Spaniard getting on top of the points.”

The Alcaraz serve

The Spaniard is 16 years younger than Djokovic so age is on his side but last season his play was somewhat erratic and he is in the process of remodelling his serve.
“This is the first time they’ve met since Alcaraz has tweaked his serve,” said Overend.
“Already we’ve seen an increase in speed, an increase in potency, the changes they’ve made in the off-season have been quite noticeable in the action. Any jerkiness that we previously saw from Carlos has gone, it’s a much smoother motion now. He seems to be able to generate that ‘pop’ with it.
“It all seems to be coming together for him, but will that be as effective? That slight increase in potency against the greatest returner, against Djokovic.
“I think Djokovic is too good a returner for it to make any particular difference.”

Sky Sports Tennis’ Jonathan Overend speaks on Djokovic’s decision to bring Murray onto his team
“I believe Djokovic has got it in him to win and logic suggests that his best chance is this next chance at this Australian Open, then you add the element of Andy Murray and his coaching corner,” said Sky SportsTennis’ Overend.
“This is the opportunity for Djokovic to break the record. He’s three matches away from doing it.
“Potentially he’s going to have to beat Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, and Jannik Sinner in successive matches which is going to be enormously tough but having gone for him from the start and having that mic-drop moment of making 25 Grand Slams and who knows? Maybe even retiring on the spot should he win the trophy.
“I’m going to have to go for Djokovic to repeat his Paris achievement and beat Alcaraz once more.”
