Troye Sivan Goes Geek Chic at Prada Menswear Milan Fashion Show

Troye Sivan embraced the “geek chic” aesthetic at Prada‘s fall 2025 menswear show on Sunday in Milan. The manner of dress prescribes a fashionable spin on stereotypically nerdy staples such as eyeglasses, sweater vests and high-waisted trousers.
Sivan wore a full look from the Italian label’s spring 2025 men’s collection, which consisted of a brown leather jacket paired with a layered blue and gray sweater. Belted pleated wool pants, black brogues and round spectacles topped off his look.

The Australian singer is no stranger to the fashion world: in July, he became Rabanne’s first global makeup brand ambassador, fronting a campaign for their Fresh Touch foundation.
“My first interaction was wearing the fashion and always just really loving it and feeling very playful and excited about the clothes, then incorporating them into some special moments for me and music videos,” Sivan told WWD.
On his “Something to Give Each Other” tour, Sivan wore a metallic chainmail jumpsuit and matching bandanna around his neck. Rabanne creative director Julien Dossena and the brand’s studio designed two custom outfits for Sivan’s fifth headlining jaunt.

As reported by WWD’s Miles Socha, Prada’s latest men’s collection leaned into “creativity without overthinking,” per designer Miuccia Prada.
“We saw caveman collars of fluffy, but raggedly cut shearling; thrift-shop and vintage tablecloth florals and plaids on shrunken T-shirts, trench coats and offbeat freestanding hoods; leather bowling bags so weathered they might have seen tournaments since the ’60s; truly homely brown sweaters, and narrow dress pants and pajama bottoms tugged over colorful cowboy boots,” wrote Socha.

BATON ROUGE – TikTok creator Mr. Prada has been indicted in the September killing of Baton Rouge therapist Nicholas Abraham.
Terryon Thomas, who uses the name Mr. Prada on social media, was indicted on first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, aggravated criminal damage to property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, according to court records.
Abraham, 69, was found dead, wrapped in a tarp and dumped alongside U.S. Hwy. 51 in Tangipahoa Parish on Sept. 29.
Thomas, 20, became a potential suspect after he was seen driving Abraham’s car. He is accused of leading police on a vehicle chase before crashing the car and running away.
Sheriff’s office records say surveillance video shows Abraham was last seen alive outside Thomas’ apartment complex the day before his body was found.
Abraham’s DNA was found inside Thomas’ blood-spattered apartment.
Witnesses told deputies Thomas appeared to be struggling while dragging a blue tarp down the stairs of his apartment complex before loading it into Abraham’s car.
Another hearing in the case is scheduled for Jan. 28.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A grand jury has indicted Terryon Thomas, known on social media as “Mr. Prada,” on charges of first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, aggravated criminal damage to property, and unauthorized use of motor vehicle.
Thomas is accused of the September 2024 brutal killing of Baton Rouge therapist Dr. Nick Abraham. The grand jury reported the indictment Thursday morning, January 16, 2025.
An indictment means the grand jury believed there was enough evidence to proceed to trial.
If Thomas is ultimately found guilty of first-degree murder, he could face the death penalty.
Investigators allege the murder happened inside Thomas’ apartment off Essen Lane in Baton Rouge.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Department says Dr. Abraham, age 69, was last seen alive entering Thomas’ apartment.
Abraham’s body was later found in Tangipahoa Parish wrapped in a tarp and left alongside a highway.
A search of Thomas’s apartment turned up several sharp objects, weapons, and large amounts of the doctor’s blood, investigators said. Thomas, who fled Baton Rouge after nearly being captured by police, was later apprehended in Dallas, Texas.
He remains jailed without bond.

Vanessa Williams to Miss ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Performances After Her Mother’s Death
Vanessa Williams is taking time off from her Devil Wears Prada performances in London following the death of her mother, Helen Louise Williams.
Vanessa, 61, and her family wrote that Helen died on Dec. 28 of complications of acute liver failure, per the obituary obtained by PEOPLE on Thursday, Jan. 2. She was 85.
The actress, who is currently portraying Miranda Priestly in the West End musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada, will take a brief break from work before returning on Thursday, Jan. 16, the show announced on Instagram on Friday, Jan. 3. Debbie Kurup will play the role of Miranda Priestly during Williams’ absence.
The Ugly Betty star reposted the show’s statement to her Instagram Stories.

Williams’ mother, a music teacher, traveled overseas for the Sunday, Dec. 1 opening night of The Devil Wears Prada.
The trip was arranged “to celebrate her 85th birthday party surrounded by 150 of her family and friends,” the obituary said. “During her visit she suffered a major decline in health which ended her life.”
Helen was born on Dec. 8, 1939, in Buffalo, N.Y., and became the youngest Black student at the State University of New York at Fredonia when she was 16. She worked as a music teacher for over 40 years in the Ossining and Manhattanville School Districts and was a professor at Manhattanville College. She retired in 1996.

Following Helen’s death, several people have posted tributes, including Sasha Fox, Williams’ daughter with former NBA player Rick Fox.
“On December 28th, the world lost a powerhouse, dynamo and force of nature packed into a 5ft frame. Our mom, Helen Williams, aka Gaga to many, took her final bow in London 20 days after celebrating her 85th birthday surrounded by family and friends,” Williams wrote in a Jan. 2 tribute. “It’s impossible to describe all she meant to everyone because each person saw a different facet of her. Loyal friend to many, icy stares to a chosen few. We will miss it all.”

Fox posted an Instagram carousel of photos of her grandmother from different periods in her life. “RIP Gaga,” she simply captioned the post.
The 24-year-old included several images of Helen, from her elementary school days to a higher education graduation. She added moments of Helen as a young girl behind the piano, as well as photos of her holding infant Williams in her arms. Sasha also included photos of her grandmother and late grandfather, Milton Augustine Williams Jr., on their wedding day and in their home.

Helen is also survived by her son, Chris, and Williams’ three older children, Melanie, 37, Jillian, 35, and Devin, 31, whom Vanessa shares with her first husband, Ramon Hervey II.
