  • Rumour Mongering: Milos Kerkez Prefers A Move to Liverpool

According to a report from The I Paper’s Pete Hall and Mark Douglas, Liverpool FC, Manchester City and Manchester United have all contacted Milos Kerkez’s representatives. However, the 21-year-old favours a move to Anfield over the Manchester clubs.

Bournemouth have no plans to sell in January, despite already signing a ready-made left-back replacement in Julio Soler from Argentinian side Lanus this month, in a deal that could rise to £11.5m.

None of the teams have made concrete proposals for Kerkez yet. The Cherries have no pressure to sell, but it is understood that it is willing to consider offers in the region of £50m.

Linking up again with Liverpool director of football Richard Hughes, who signed Kerkez previously at Bournemouth, is understood to play a significant part in the thinking of Hungary international. His international captain, Dominik Szoboszlai, also plays for Liverpool.

Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri also continues to be a target for the Reds if they recruit a player for the left-back position.

The report also rubbishes rumours of Bournemouth’s interest in Liverpool forward Ben Doak that surfaced earlier this week and that they will not entertain offers that involve swapping Doak for Antoine Semenyo.

There have been whispers and speculations circulating in the football world that Milos Kerkez, the talented midfielder from FC Barcelona, is eyeing a move to Liverpool.

Rumour has it that Kerkez has been impressed by Liverpool’s recent successes and playing style under manager Jurgen Klopp. The Serbian international is reportedly keen on joining the Reds and believes that the Premier League could be the perfect platform to showcase his skills.

However, it is important to note that these are just rumours at this stage and no official confirmation has been made by either club or the player himself. Transfer talks can often be unpredictable and subject to change, so it’s best to take these reports with a grain of salt until any concrete developments arise.

Stay tuned for further updates on this potential transfer saga as it unfolds. In the meantime, Liverpool fans can dream of the prospect of adding a player of Kerkez’s caliber to their squad.

  • Raiders’ Maxx Crosby shares who he prefers playing between Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson

Maxx Crosby is sounding even more like a Buffalo Bills fan by the day.

Just a day after he said he thinks the Bills are ready to make a run at the Super Bowl, the four-time Pro Bowler dropped another nugget when it comes to the Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson debate before their AFC Divisional Round clash on Sunday. His pick? None other than No. 17 up in Buffalo.

“I might say I’d rather go against Lamar with all respect,” said Crosby while appearing on Good Morning Football on Friday. “They’re both incredible, but I think Josh Allen has shown it over and over again. Even in the losses to the (Kansas City) Chiefs in those big games in the playoffs, Josh Allen was still having career games, he just didn’t have the ball last. So I feel like Josh Allen, he’s got the clutch gene for sure and he is so dangerous running and throwing the ball.”

It’s one thing to hear this from a football pundit. But a two-time All-Pro who’s played against both guys? That makes the comments hit different.

In two career matchups against Crosby’s Raiders, Allen is 2-0 with six total touchdowns scored against zero interceptions, an average of 281 passing yards per game, and an average passer rating of 120.2. Meanwhile, Jackson and his Ravens have a 0-2 record against Crosby during his Raiders tenure with two total touchdowns against one interception with an average of 241 passing yards per game and an average passer rating of 90.0.

Even as hot as Jackson has been on the field this year, one of 2024’s low points for him was a Week 2 loss to Crosby and the Raiders where the edge rusher got home with two sacks on the three-time first-team All-Pro. In fact, Crosby has four career sacks on Jackson in his first two matchups against him. As for Allen, he’s only been able to wrap him up for one sack over the first two meetings.

Who knows why Crosby is giving Buffalo so much love this week, but maybe once he becomes a free agent after the 2026 season this gives the team more reason to try and add him to the roster.

Raiders’ Maxx Crosby Shares Who He Prefers Playing Between Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson

In a recent interview, Las Vegas Raiders’ defensive end Maxx Crosby shared his thoughts on who he prefers playing against between Buffalo Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen and Baltimore Ravens’ quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Crosby admitted that both Allen and Jackson are incredibly talented and present unique challenges for opposing defenses. However, when asked to choose between the two, Crosby revealed that he enjoys facing off against Lamar Jackson more.

According to Crosby, Jackson’s elusive running ability and dual-threat capability make him a more exciting and unpredictable opponent on the field. The challenge of trying to contain Jackson and prevent him from making big plays with both his arm and legs keeps Crosby on his toes and pushes him to elevate his game.

While Crosby respects Josh Allen’s strong arm and accuracy as a passer, he finds the challenge of defending against Lamar Jackson’s dynamic skill set to be more thrilling and rewarding. As a competitor, Crosby is always looking for opportunities to test himself against the best, and facing off against Jackson provides him with an exciting challenge that he relishes.

Overall, Maxx Crosby enjoys the competition and the opportunity to showcase his skills against top-tier quarterbacks like Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen. As he continues to grow and develop as a player, Crosby looks forward to facing off against these talented quarterbacks and proving himself as a formidable opponent on the field.

  • Browns’ Myles Garrett prefers to ‘mess up’ Ravens’ division title hopes over winning NFL sack crown

Browns’ Myles Garrett prefers to ‘mess up’ Ravens’ division title hopes over winning NFL sack crown

The perfect scenario for how Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett sees Week 18 unfolding is simple: A Browns win over the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday afternoon followed by a Pittsburgh Steelers victory versus the Cincinnati Bengals that night.

Even though Garrett has a chance to win the NFL’s sack title, he’s ranking spoiling the Ravens’ AFC North division title hopes over an individual accomplishment.

“I mean, I’d rather upset them and mess up their playoff hopes,” Garrett said on Thursday. “And if the sack title comes along with that, great. Definitely going to do what I can to be disruptive and take [Lamar Jackson] out of the game as much as possible. If that comes along with it, outstanding. But at the end of the day, I want to win.”

Garrett enters Week 18 tied with Trey Hendrickson of the Bengals with 14 sacks on the season. He’s the only player in NFL history to record at least 14 sacks in four consecutive seasons and has 102.5 in his seven-season career.

The 11-5 Ravens, meanwhile, can clinch the AFC North for a second straight season if they beat the Browns on Saturday. If Garrett gets his wish and the 3-13 Browns pull off the upset, then that opens the door for the Steelers to earn the division crown with a victory.

While Garrett isn’t focusing on the sack title, he is eyeballing another NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, which he won last season.

Garrett said he feels he’s having a better year than 2023 when he recorded 14 sacks, four forced fumbles and 33 solo tackles.

“I feel like I faced much more difficult odds this year, and offenses have done quite a lot to try to take me up the game and made it blatantly obvious,” Garrett said. “But I feel like the guys around me have really helped me thrive as much as I have at this point. Just got to continue to add on to what I’ve done with this last game. But I couldn’t have done it without all the guys with me, the other 10.”

Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II has taken over as the betting favorite for the award with Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt — the 2021 winner — right behind him.

When asked why Garrett believes he’s the best defensive player in the NFL right now he had a simple response.

“Why? Go check the tape. That’s why.”

In a recent interview, Cleveland Browns’ defensive end Myles Garrett made it clear that he is more focused on disrupting the Baltimore Ravens’ quest for a division title than winning the NFL sack crown.

Garrett, who is currently leading the league in sacks, emphasized that he would much rather “mess up” the Ravens’ chances of winning the AFC North than prioritize personal accolades. The star pass rusher expressed his desire to be a difference-maker for his team and help the Browns secure a playoff spot.

With the Ravens currently leading the division, Garrett’s words serve as a reminder of the intense rivalry between the two teams and his commitment to doing whatever it takes to come out on top. As the season progresses, fans can expect Garrett to continue wreaking havoc on opposing offenses in his pursuit of both team success and individual excellence.

Jana Kramer is always looking for ways to better herself.

While speaking with Fox News Digital, the actress revealed that although she’s not big on making New Year’s resolutions, she is consistently looking for ways to improve.

“I try not to do resolutions,” Kramer said at iHeart Media’s Jingle Ball on Dec. 6. “I try to take something each month to try and change and grow and do. That’s what I’m going to continue on doing.”

“I’ve never been one for New Year’s resolutions,” Kramer’s husband, Allan Russell, added. “If I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it at the point of the year that it needs to get done. Not just Dec. 31.”

The One Tree Hill alum has undoubtedly had a rough few years.

Kramer split with ex-husband Mike Caussin in 2021 after the former NFL tight end’s alleged cheating scandal was revealed. The former couple share a daughter, Jolie, 8, and Jace, 6.

“I could not have written this story. This was a story that was written long before I could’ve even ever imagined it,” Kramer told Fox News Digital at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in 2023.

“I’m still letting it sink in a little bit,” she said of the changes she’s gone through. “I start to get emotional when I really kind of step back and think about all of it. And I’ll have that moment probably when the baby’s here and in the new house and with my new family,” she explained.

She shocked fans with an engagement to Russell, a former professional soccer player, after six months of dating. They married in July and share a 1-year-old son Roman.

In October, Kramer and Caussin opened up about their tumultuous relationship throughout the years.

“You don’t deserve to be defined by your past,” Kramer began to explain on her “Whine Down” podcast. “People don’t deserve to be defined by the mistakes they’ve made.”

“We were so bad post-divorce for a good year… so we got to a good place… and I’m like, ‘I don’t want that energy again,’” Kramer added.

Kramer publicly claimed that Caussin cheated on her with more than 13 women and admitted that she believes if she had stayed with him, he would have “cheated forever.”

“I trust our relationship more now than I ever have. And I believe Jana, what her point and her narrative is,” Caussin confessed. “If I read [Kramer’s book, “The Next Chapter: Making Peace with Hard Memories, Finding Hope All Around Me, and Clearing Space for Good Things to Come”], are there things that would bother me? Absolutely, sure… But it was a whole different lifetime ago.”

“I used Jana as my scapegoat… ‘If I can blame it all on her, it’s not my fault,’” Caussin said. “And that’s bulls—.”

“I’ve never heard you say that, and I do appreciate that,” Kramer reacted.

Recently, Kramer told Fox News Digital she is “grateful” for her life now and wouldn’t change it for the world.

“I love living here,” she told Fox News Digital on the red carpet of Boot Barn and Wonderwest’s charity event and fashion show in Nashville, Tennessee this month. “I love raising our kids here. I love the values. I love, just, you know, like I was raised in Michigan, and the manners here matter, just like they did in Michigan. And I think, you know, the culture here is good.”

“I mean, now that Roman’s walking, and he is hanging with the other kids, it’s so sweet to see their relationships forming,” she added. “And then I would say the hardest part is just managing it all. You know, we don’t have really a lot of help. It’s just us kind of like, ‘All right, hey, I got this meeting at this time and then can you watch … ?’ So, I think that’s the balance, because I really want to soak in this time with Roman, our 1-year-old. So, I would say balancing is the toughest part.”

Jana Kramer avoids New Year’s resolutions, prefers this technique for self improvement

As we enter a new year, many people are making resolutions to improve themselves in various ways. However, country singer and actress Jana Kramer is taking a different approach. Instead of setting specific goals for the new year, she prefers to focus on continuous self-improvement through mindfulness and reflection.

In a recent interview, Kramer shared that she believes setting rigid resolutions can often lead to disappointment and feelings of failure if they are not achieved. Instead, she chooses to focus on being present in the moment and making small, daily changes to better herself.

“I think it’s important to take each day as it comes and focus on being the best version of yourself in that moment,” Kramer said. “I try to practice mindfulness and self-reflection every day, rather than setting specific goals for the entire year.”

This approach allows Kramer to stay flexible and adapt to the challenges and opportunities that arise throughout the year. By focusing on small, incremental changes, she is able to make lasting improvements in her life without the pressure of meeting rigid resolutions.

So, as we embark on a new year, perhaps we can all take a page out of Jana Kramer’s book and focus on continuous self-improvement through mindfulness and reflection, rather than setting strict resolutions.

  • American Idol crew prefers Carrie Underwood to ‘chaotic’ and ‘stormy’ years with Katy Perry as judge in show shakeup

American Idol crew prefers Carrie Underwood to ‘chaotic’ and ‘stormy’ years with Katy Perry as judge in show shakeup

THE AMERICAN Idol crew has grown to ‘prefer’ Carrie Underwood on the show after enduring ‘chaotic’ years with Katy Perry as a judge, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.

Following seven turbulent seasons in the Idol judges’ seat, the Teenage Dream pop star called it quits earlier this year and was replaced by the country sensation – who won the singing competition back in 2005.

Katy, 40, announced her departure from American Idol in February to focus on music and months later, released her latest album Lifetimes

However, the pop album, which includes her lead single Woman’s World, ultimately flopped on the music charts and was heavily panned by critics and fans.

ABC announced shortly after Katy’s exit that country-pop superstar Carrie, 41, would be sliding into her place on the judging panel exactly 20 years after winning season 4.

She will be joining judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie – who have starred on the show since 2018.

According to a production insider, Carrie has been a “godsend” for the show – which has already completed filming its nationwide auditions ahead of the March 9 premiere.

“I hate to sound so cheesy but actually it’s like is a ray of sunshine after a chaotic and stormy few years with some of the on-camera talent,” the source said of having Carrie on set.

During her years on the show, Katy was embroiled in controversy – including kissing a younger contestant who later said the move made him “uncomfortable” as well as being accused of “mom shaming” a woman auditioning for the show.

“To put it bluntly, everyone in the crew, the studio suits, all the producers – really everyone is much happier and more comfortable now with Carrie on the panel.

“Katy never fully fit in, there was something always off about her dynamic with the rest of the Idol team. There was also an unpredictability factor there that did not sit right with people.

“Even with Luke and Lionel, it got better but it never quite felt right. Carrie is very professional and a natural.

“She’s been close with Luke for years, knows and adores Ryan and she’s known many of the producers for years too. She hits it off great and bonds well with Lionel.”

The source claimed that “everyone who works on the show 100% prefers working with Carrie to Katy” and in their view, it is “not even a question” of who the better judge is.

Katy Perry called out for ‘disrespectful’ move toward American Idol crowd during judge’s final episode

“Once the audience sees this new season, I think they’ll feel the same way. Carrie is kind of a combination of Paula and Simon.

“She leads with the niceness of Paula and is so sweet and nurturing to these contestants but she isn’t afraid to give constructive feedback and be honest, a la Simon, when she needs to be.”

Carrie’s season of the show included the iconic original trio of judges who helmed the pop culture juggernaut during its first decade – Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, and Randy Jackson.

The source revealed that filming this season so far has been “very emotional” for Carrie as her career started on that very same set.

However, since the judging panel is different now than it was back in 2005, the moment that hit Carrie the hardest was seeing Ryan Seacrest – who has hosted every episode of the show since it premiered in 2002 – interacting with the hopeful contestants.

“This season was really emotional for her after starting out on that same set.

“Since the judges are different from when she was on the show, it didn’t really hit her until she saw Ryan mingling with the contestants getting ready to audition because that was her, that was Carrie not too long ago and now she’s on the other side of the desk.

“A lot of tears were spilled, Carrie was very emotional,” the insider added.

The U.S. Sun has reached out to an Idol rep for comment.

    AMERICA’S SWEETHEART

Grammy-winning songstress Carrie was just 21-years-old when she auditioned for Idol and famously had never left her home state of Oklahoma, or had even been on an airplane, before securing her golden ticket to Hollywood.

She impressed the judges immediately and captivated America’s hearts for an overwhelming win over runner-up Bo Bice.

Who are the past American Idol winners?

The previous American Idol winners include:

    Kelly Clarkson (2002)

    Ruben Studdard (2003)

    Fantasia Barrino (2004)

    Carrie Underwood (2005)

    Taylor Hicks (2006)

    Just Sam (2020)

    Chayce Beckham (2021)

    Noah Thompson (2022)

    Iam Tongi (2023)

Since her victory, Carrie has gone on to sell over 85 million records worldwide, has had 28 number one singles and has won eight Grammys, 16 Academy of Country Music Awards as well as 25 CMT Music Awards.

After announcing her being cast on the show, Carrie went on Good Morning America to give fans a preview of what they can expect from her as a new judge.

“I do have a big problem … I can’t lie. I feel like I’ll be very honest but hopefully constructive and encouraging,” she admitted.

“It feels like home. There are so many people that even still work on the show that were there when I was a contestant.

“I feel like being on both sides of the coin, I’ll be able to hopefully offer some insight, and help,” she added.

Season 23 of American Idol premieres on Sunday, March 9, 2025 on ABC.

In a recent shakeup on American Idol, it has been revealed that the crew prefers former winner Carrie Underwood to the “chaotic” and “stormy” years with Katy Perry as a judge. Underwood, who won the fourth season of the show in 2005, is reportedly a favorite among the crew members for her professionalism, talent, and positive attitude.

According to sources close to the production, Perry’s time as a judge on the show was marked by drama, diva behavior, and clashes with fellow judges and crew members. Her unpredictable and often controversial antics reportedly created a tense and difficult working environment for everyone involved.

In contrast, Underwood is praised for her down-to-earth personality, work ethic, and genuine love for music. Her success story as a country music superstar who got her start on American Idol has inspired many contestants and crew members alike.

While the show’s producers have not officially announced any changes to the judging panel, there is speculation that they may be considering bringing Underwood back in some capacity to help stabilize the show and bring back some of the magic that made it a hit in its early seasons.

Fans of the show are eagerly awaiting any news on the upcoming season and are hopeful that American Idol will return to its former glory with Underwood at the helm.

  • Heat’s Jimmy Butler reportedly prefers trade out of Miami before NBA trade deadline

Heat’s Jimmy Butler reportedly prefers trade out of Miami before NBA trade deadline

Jimmy Butler is ready for a change of scenery.

According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Miami Heat star “prefers” a trade out of town by the Feb. 6 trade deadline. However, he reportedly hasn’t formally asked the Heat for a trade.

Butler, 35, is in his 14th year in the NBA. He’s been with the Heat since 2019. Miami is reportedly open to listening to offers for Butler, who wants a trade to a “win-now contender” above all. The teams Butler is open to reportedly include the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets.

Butler and the Heat weren’t able to come to terms on a contract extension this summer, meaning he has only a $52 million player option left on his Heat contract. According to Charania, Butler does not plan to exercise that option, which means he’d become a free agent in July. He’s currently averaging 18.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists this season.

The Heat have been to the playoffs in five of Butler’s six full seasons in Miami. He hoped the Heat could be his chance to win the NBA Finals and get his long-awaited championship ring, and they got close several times. The Heat made it to the finals in 2020, Butler’s first season in Miami, losing to the Los Angeles Lakers 4-2 in the COVID-19 bubble Finals. Three years later, the Heat were back in the Finals, but lost 4-1 to the Denver Nuggets.

The 2023-24 season was the first time the Heat weren’t in the playoffs since Butler joined the team. They’re currently sixth in the Eastern Conference with a 14-13 record, above the play-in line, but there are still quite a few games left to play.

While several teams have reportedly called to inquire about Butler’s availability, the Heat don’t have to trade him. It’s their only shot to get a return on Butler, who can leave at the end of the season, but with Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro set up as Miami’s future, the Heat could absolutely keep Butler around and see if they can make one last run at the Finals before the Butler era comes to an end.

According to recent reports, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is reportedly seeking a trade out of Miami before the NBA trade deadline. The news comes as a surprise to many fans, as Butler has been a key player for the Heat since joining the team in 2019.

There are several teams that are rumored to be interested in acquiring Butler, including the Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Golden State Warriors. While it remains to be seen where Butler will end up, one thing is for certain: his departure would be a major loss for the Heat.

Butler’s preference for a trade out of Miami could have significant implications for the team’s future, as he has been a leader both on and off the court. As the trade deadline approaches, fans will be eagerly awaiting any updates on Butler’s potential move and the impact it will have on the Heat’s roster.

Stay tuned for more updates as the situation develops.

Sources – Heat’s Jimmy Butler prefers trade out of Miami

Six-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler prefers a trade out of Miami ahead of the Feb. 6 deadline, league sources told ESPN.

ESPN reported in the Inside Pass on Dec. 10 that the Heat are willing to listen to trade offers for Butler, and that Butler wants a win-now contender in any deal. Butler has not formally requested a trade, sources said, but is believed to be ready for his exit.

Butler has $49 million on his contract with the Heat for this season and a $52 million player option for 2025-26 after the two sides failed to reach an extension last summer. Both sides appear ready to move on from this Butler-led era as the Heat lean into a rising core of All-Star center Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro (in the midst of a career season), and Butler’s player option for next season has given the parties their own vantage point of leverage.

Teams have been informed that Butler intends to decline his 2025-26 player option and become a free agent in July, sources said.

Butler is open to trade destinations such as the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets, league sources said. Multiple teams have called the Heat to express interest in Butler in the past two weeks, but Miami has not shown urgency in talks as the franchise monitors the first half of the season, those sources said.

The Heat, in sixth place in the East, could simply play out the season and view whether Butler opts in or opts out. However, to reach a new home via trade, Butler needs the Heat’s help — a test of balance in how the franchise handles doing right by its cornerstone of the past half decade.

The Heat signed Adebayo to a three-year, $166 million maximum extension last offseason, but elected not to move forward with a similar deal with Butler.

Butler, 35, is averaging 18.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists this season. He is one of the NBA’s elite competitors and a perennial postseason performer. His teams have made the playoffs in 12 of his first 13 seasons, including the five previous seasons in Miami, where he has led the Heat to two NBA Finals berths and one additional Eastern Conference finals appearance.

After Miami beat Boston in the 2023 Eastern Conference finals to reach the NBA Finals, the Celtics made two huge moves, acquiring Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porziņģis, who played major roles in their run to the championship in 2024. The Heat’s efforts to add star power around Butler and Adebayo have failed, including losing out to other teams for Damian Lillard, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving in recent years.

Sources have indicated that Miami Heat’s star player, Jimmy Butler, is seeking a trade out of Miami. This news comes as a surprise to many fans, as Butler has been a key player for the team and helped lead them to the NBA Finals just last season.

While the reasons for Butler’s desire to leave Miami are not yet clear, sources suggest that there may be differences in vision between Butler and the team’s management. It is also possible that Butler is looking for a new challenge or a change of scenery.

Regardless of the reasons behind Butler’s decision, it is sure to shake up the NBA landscape. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
